This study aims to comprehend how differences are signified and represented by students in Physical Education classes. It is an ethnography conducted in a State school in the municipality of Campinas, SP. Such an incursion led us to the understanding that the differences presented by the students constituted parameters to define inequality of opportunity, prejudices and sectarianisms. Thus, the understanding of differences was permeated by an amount of reductionism, as they perceived the “other” only through her/his most conspicuous characteristics, clouding the complexity of the cultural dynamics. Finally, we understand that it is desirable that differences be considered within the vision of alterity,aided by a cross-cultural perspective of education., Este estudio tiene el objetivo de comprender como las diferencias son significadas y representadas por los alumnos en clases de Educación Física. Se trata de una etnografía conducida en una escuela pública en la municipalidad de Campinas, SP. Tal incursión nos llevó a la comprensión de que las diferencias presentadas por los alumnos constituyeron parámetros definidores de desigualdad de oportunidades, prejuicios y sectarismos. Así, el entendimiento de las diferencias estuvo impregnado por ciertos reducciones, percibiendo al 'otro' únicamente por sus características más visibles, obscureciendo la complejidad de la dinámica cultural. Por fin, comprendemos que es deseable que las diferencias sean consideradas en la óptica de la alteridad subsidiada por una perspectiva intercultural de educación., Este estudo objetiva compreender como as diferenças são significadas e representadas pelos alunos nas aulas de educação física. Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Fisica Resumo: Este trabalho teve como finalidade identificar quais as representações que os alunos do Ensino Médio têm sobre as aulas de Educação Física. Em virtude desse interesse, e para compreender como são construídas essas representações, optei pela realização de uma pesquisa etnográfica, uma vez que ela pode permitir um mergulho mais denso no universo escolar, possibilitando, desta forma, uma análise também densa sobre o assunto. Para dar suporte teórico à identificação de como são construídas estas representações, recorri a alguns autores que discutem questões relacionadas à sociedade, cultura e escola. Tal opção deu-se em virtude de compreender que a escola, como parte integrante do sistema cultural, é influenciada em suas ações pelo que ocorre nesta cultura, o que leva os alunos que vivem neste ambiente a elaborarem suas construções vinculadas também às questões sociais e culturais. Para responder a esta questão das representações dos alunos do Ensino Médio sobre as aulas de Educação Física, a pesquisa foi dividida da seguinte forma: no primeiro capítulo, intitulado ¿entre o vivido e o percebido¿, descrevo como minha trajetória de vida tem relação direta com o surgimento das preocupações relativas à escola. No segundo, no qual falo sobre a incursão à escola, mostro o caminho que foi percorrido para chegar aos sujeitos e como estar no campo propiciou o surgimento de algumas questões que compreendo como intervenientes sobre o pensar dos alunos. No capítulo seguinte, ¿A escola e o conhecimento¿, procuro situar como o tipo de conhecimento que vai à escola influencia os alunos no que tange à elaboração de suas representações acerca da escola e do mundo. No capítulo que trato da escola de Ensino Médio e da Educação Física, o foco central é na delimitação do que é esse nível de ensino e como ele é visto pelos alunos, acrescentando a isso o papel que a Educação Física tem nessa etapa escolar. No capítulo que trata do cotidiano das aulas de Educação Física, aponto como os jovens expressam seus interesses sobre as aulas, sinalizando para uma interpretação das representações que eles têm sobre elas. Finalizo as reflexões com uma análise sobre as representações dos alunos sobre as aulas e as implicações e perspectivas disso, mostrando a importância das influências externas e internas no processo de construção das representações sociais Abstract: The present study aims to identify the representations of Physical Education classes adopted by the students in Medium School. Because of this interest and to understand how these representations are built, I decided to make an ethnographic research, once it allows a deep view about the school universe and, as a consequence, providing a closer analysis on the subject. In order to give a theoretical support to the identification of how these representations are built, I studied some authors who discuss questions related to society, culture and school. This option was due to the comprehension that school, being part of the cultural system, is influenced in its actions by what happens in this culture, taking the students in this environment to make their constructions bound to social and cultural issues. To answer to this question, the research was divided in the following way: the first chapter describes how my life path is directly related to the appearance of questions concerning school. In the second one, I write about the incursion into school besides the way to find the subjects for the research and I discuss how my presence in the field work allowed the appearance of some questions that I consider as influences over students thought. Next chapter is an attempt to establish how the kind of knowledge that exists inside school can influence students concerning their creation of representations about the school and the world. In the fourth chapter I discuss the Medium School and Physical Education, and the center of interest is in the delimitation of what this teaching level is and how it is seen by students, besides the role that Physical Education represents in this level. In the last chapter, that discusses the everyday of Physical Education classes, I indicate how young people express their interests about their classes in order to elucidate their representation about these issues. Os personagens deste "enredo" constituem uma turma de 8° série de uma escola da rede pública do município de Campinas, São Paulo. O trabalho está delineado como uma etnografia, no sentido de uma "descrição densa", conforme Clifford Geertz (1989). Durante I (um) bimestre letivo estive imerso nesse cotidiano escolar, no intuito de ler as "entrelinhas" e filtrar o dito e o não dito no que se refere ao objetivo deste estudo. Tal incurso levou-me à possível compreensão de que as diferenças - entre os sexos, físicas, de comportamento, de habilidade, cor de pele e maneiras de se vestir - apresentadas pelos alunos nas aulas de educação física serviram de parâmetros definidores de desigualdade de oportunidades, preconceitos e sectarismos pautados por estereótipos. Nesse sentido, pude compreender que o entendimento das diferenças pelos "atores sociais" esteve permeado por um certo reducionismo, que tende a enxergar o "outro" somente por suas características mais visíveis, obscurecendo a complexidade da dinâmica cultural. Assim, subsidiado por uma perspectiva intercultural de educação e educação física, compreendi que as diferenças necessitam ser consideradas na ótica da alteridade que, pressupondo o "outro", possibilitaria o encenar das diferenças com outro enredo. Este proporcionaria a todos o acesso à aula, não como mero direito, mas na direção de um diálogo profícuo com o "outro"; seria palco de aprendizado com o diferente; seria, enfim, um enredo que, ao invés de estabelecer sectarismos, proporcionaria um compartilhar democrático de saberes e experiências. Pois, se o "outro" constitui-se em não mais do que um possível "eu", não faz sentido compreendê-lo como inferior Abstract: The purpose of this study is to understand how the differences are seen and represented by the "social actors" that comprise the symbolic universe of the physical education classes. The characters in this "plot" are 8th grade students of a public school in the city of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil. The work is designed as ethnography, in the sense of a "dense description" according to Clifford Geertz (1989). I was immersed in this school's daily activities during one bimester, in order to "read between the lines" and filter what is said and what is not said regarding the purpose of this study. Such immersion led me to the possible understanding that the differences - between sexes, physical, behavioral, skilllevels, skin color and dressing habits - showed by the students in physical education classes served as parameters defining differences in opportunities, prejudices and sectarianism regulated by stereotypes. In this sense, I was able to understand that differences are seen by the "social actors" in a way permeated by a certain reductionism, tending to see the "other" only through his or hers most visible characteristics, thus dimming the complexity of cultural dynamics. Then, supported by an inter-cultural perspective of education and physical education, I understood that the differences must be considered under the point of view of alterity that, presupposing the "other", would make possible to stage the differences with another plot. This would give everyone access to the classes, not as a mere right but in the direction of a proficuous dialogue with the "other", it would be the stage for learning with the different; in short, it would be a plot that, instead of establishing sectarianism, provided a democratic sharing of knowledges and experiences. Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Física Resumo: Esta pesquisa se ancora no pressuposto de que a religião evangélica influencia na educação do corpo e de que as diferenças decorrentes desta forma de educação podem ser percebidas nas aulas de Educação Física (EF). Percebendo o fato de que os evangélicos pesquisados durante o curso de mestrado estabelecem negociações e/ou acomodações entre seus costumes religiosos e suas práticas cotidianas, a intenção desta pesquisa foi compreender como este movimento acontece, transformando as experiências religiosas e principalmente as experiências escolares relacionadas às aulas de EF. Meu interesse foi compreender como e em que medida os conteúdos da EF tensionam ou podem tensionar estes movimentos de acomodação. Neste sentido, o objetivo foi analisar a trajetória das meninas pesquisadas para compreender como cada uma constrói suas ações partindo da relação entre a educação religiosa que recebem e outras formas de educação relacionadas ao corpo, neste caso, especificamente o conhecimento produzido na e pela EF. Mais do que isso, busquei entender como cada uma relacionava um tipo de "conhecimento religioso" com aqueles produzidos e veiculado nas aulas de EF. Para tanto, o grupo selecionado foi composto por cinco meninas pertencentes ou a Congregação Cristã no Brasil (CC) ou a igreja evangélica Assembléia de Deus (AD) e que estavam cursando os anos finais do Ensino Médio. Busquei acompanhá-las durante o ano letivo de 2011, particularmente durante as aulas de Educação Física. O método utilizado foi o etnográfico, tendo como principal referência o conceito de "descrição densa" do antropólogo Clifford Geertz. Além das observações intensas dos sujeitos selecionados, foram realizadas e registradas entrevistas e conversas informais. No primeiro capítulo, esclareço o campo, apresento os sujeitos selecionados e problematizo teórica e empiricamente aquilo que tratei no decorrer do texto. No segundo capítulo apresento um levantamento a respeito do entendimento de "corpo" e religião na análise antropológica. No terceiro capítulo, analiso os dados da pesquisa de campo com mais profundidade. A partir do entendimento das próprias meninas desenvolvo algumas interpretações sobre a EF, seus conteúdos e as tensões que perpassam as relações entre conhecimento religioso e aquele pertencente ao escopo da EF. No quarto capítulo, avançando para os problemas que dizem respeito ao professor e a escola, apontando a relação dos dados com a especificidade da escola e da EF. Por fim, faço algumas breves considerações que não encerram, mas cingem algumas reflexões, tornando-as menos soltas e mais palpáveis. Se questões continuam sendo levantadas, neste momento elas parecem poder contar com elaborações mais refinadas, ampliando a possibilidade de reflexão sobre o tema por parte de pesquisadores e professores que se deparam com as questões tratadas Abstract: This research is grounded on the presupposition that evangelical religion influences on body education and that the differences arising of this way of education can be seemed on Physical Education classes. Realizing the fact that the evangelicals surveyed during the master's course establish talks and/or accommodations between their religious manners and their daily practices, the purpose of this research was understand how this movement happens, changing religious experiences and mainly educational experiences related by Physical Education classes. Mi interest was to discover how and to what extent the contents of Physical Education tenses or can tense these movements of accommodation. On this way, the objective was to analyze the trajectory of the girls surveyed to comprise how each one of them builts their actions starting from the relation between the religious education that they receive and other ways of education related to body, on this case, specifically the knowledge produced on and by Physical Education. More than that, I tried to understand how each one of them related a kind of "religious knowledge" with that one produced and conveyed on Physical Education classes. For both, the group selected was composed by five girls belonging or to Congregação Cristã do Brasil (CC) or to evangelical church Assembleia de Deus (AD) and that was attending to the last years of High School. I sought accompany them during the 2011 school year, particularly during Physical Education classes. The method used was the ethnographic, with the primary reference the concept of "dense description" of the anthropologist Clifford Geertz. Beyond the intense observation of the selected subjects, were performed and registered interviews and informal talks. On the first chapter, I clarify the search field, present the chose subjects and discuss theoretical and empirically what I treated throughout the text. On the second chapter, I introduce a collection on respect of understanding the "body" and religion on anthropological analysis. On third chapter, I analyze the field research's data of the field deeply. From the understanding of the girls I develop some interpretations about the Physical Education, their contents and the tensions that underlie the relations between religious knowledge and that belonging to the scope of Physical Education. On fourth chapter, going forward to the problems that concern to the teacher and the school, I aim the relation of the data with the specificity of school and the Physical Education. In the end, I make some brief considerations that don't contain, but girdle some reflections, becoming them less released and more tangibles. Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Física Resumo: O presente estudo foi motivado por uma questão primordial: como os professores de educação física se apropriam do conhecimento acadêmico disseminado na formação superior, cotejado com outras formas do saber inerentes às suas distintas trajetórias de vida, no sentido de explicar, justificar, legitimar, atribuir sentido e significado às suas práticas pedagógicas no cotidiano escolar? Pressupondo que os saberes docentes perpassam um conhecimento tácito sobre o papel social do professor, a pesquisa em questão teve por objetivo descrever "o que fazem" esses professores durante suas práticas pedagógicas, e "como justificam aquilo que fazem" à luz das distintas formas do saber. Trata-se de uma investigação sobre os "saberes na ação" docente, e tem por finalidade descrever parte da "cultura profissional" dos professores de educação física. Os pressupostos teórico-metodológicos da pesquisa colocam-na sob a rubrica qualitativa. Fundamenta-se nas ciências sociais e baseia-se em "conceitos descritivos", que consideram não somente o que os homens são na sua natureza, mas, sobretudo, aquilo que "habita" esses homens, tais como os sentidos e significados que atribuem à vida e a tantas outras coisas. Inspirado na tradição do "fazer etnográfico", o estudo persegue uma "descrição densa", que é, ao mesmo tempo, segundo Clifford Geertz, interpretativa, visto que visa interpretar o fluxo do discurso social; microscópica, uma vez que não há interpretações antropológicas em grande escala; e de segunda mão, já que o pesquisador não tem acesso ao discurso social, mas a uma pequena porção dele trazida à compreensão pelos informantes. Apesar das divergências do ponto de vista teórico-analítico, o método etnográfico é caracterizado pelo processo interativo em campo, quando é priorizado o ponto de vista do "outro" ¿ do sujeito de pesquisa ¿, construído no bojo das tensões de identidade e alteridade entre pesquisador e pesquisados, e produto do encontro intersubjetivo entre eles. É nesse sentido que a presente pesquisa se caracteriza como um "estudo etnográfico", que se dedicou a descrever os "saberes na ação" de três professores de educação física que atuam nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental, em escolas da rede municipal de ensino da cidade de Jundiaí-SP. A escolha dos sujeitos levou em consideração vários critérios de exclusão, reduzindo os 70 docentes da rede a um grupo de apenas cinco professores, dentre os quais somente três foram tomados como sujeitos de pesquisa. Esses últimos, além de representarem a classe profissional naquele contexto particular, caracterizavam-se como grupo ¿ condição básica para a etnografia ¿, visto que possuíam vínculo estável e duradouro com as suas respectivas escolas. A observação das aulas e o constante diálogo com os docentes possibilitaram a "tradução" de fatos e questões inerentes aos saberes docentes, mais especificamente aos "saberes na ação" que, apesar de atinentes ao cotidiano escolar, na maior parte das vezes encontram-se recônditos. Em última análise, a relação intersubjetiva entre pesquisador e sujeitos de pesquisa permitiu um olhar mais atento às idiossincrasias da docência em educação física Abstract: The present study was motivated by one fundamental question: how do physical education teachers acquire scientific knowledge spread within undergraduate courses, compared and confronted with other forms of knowledge acquired along their life, in order to explain, legitimate, give sense and significance to their teaching actions in everyday school life? Once taken for granted that teaching knowledge exceeds the limits of a tacit comprehension of a teacher's role in society, the present study aimed to describe the behaviour of these teachers along their teaching and how they explain and legitimate their behaviour bearing in mind the various types of knowledge. We conducted a research into the teachers' "knowledge in action" in order to describe part of the physical education teachers' "professional culture" by methodological procedures drawn from qualitative research techniques, based on descriptive concepts within the social sciences. These concepts state that not only people exist within their nature, but also and mainly are what they are inhabited by, such as the sense and significance they find in life and in many other things. Inspired by ethnographic action tradition, this study pursuits a "dense description" which is, according to Clifford Geertz, at one time both interpretative, since it seeks to interprete the stream of social discourse, and microscopic, as it considers that there are no big-scaled anthropological interpretations. On the other hand, it is second-handed, because the researcher had no access to the whole of social discourse, but only to small portions of it brought to comprehension by the informants. In spite of divergences regarding the theoretical and analytical point of view, the ethnographic method is characterized by field interaction processes, in which the research subject ¿ the "other" and its point of view - is priorized, since it is built up within the tensions between identity and alterity, between the researcher and his research objects, as well as a product of their inter-subjects meeting. In this sense the present research features an ethnographic study consecrated to describe the "knowledge in action" of three physical education graduates during their teaching in classes of the three first grades in municipal elementary schools in Jundiaí (SP). Several criteria were applied during subject selection that reduced the initial sample of 70 teachers to five, out of which were selected only three. These three were, on one hand, clear representatives of their professional category in this particular setting and on the other hand, constituted a group, a fundamental condition for ethnography, for maintaining a long-term bond with their schools. Observation of physical education classes and permanent conversations with the teachers allowed to understand facts and questions intrinsic to teaching knowledge, specifically to "knowledge in action" which, although omnipresent in everyday teaching, mostly remain innermost. In the end, the relation between researcher and subjects allowed to develop a more attentive look into the idiosyncrasies of teaching in physical education. Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Física Resumo: O objetivo da pesquisa foi traçar a trajetória biográfica percorrida por seis professores de Educação Física ao longo da vida para compreender os processos de formação docente e o itinerário de constituição de seus respectivos saberes. Para isso, a pesquisa buscou alcançar os elementos biográficos que tornaram os sujeitos professores e, em seguida, reconstruir o fluxo de constituição dos saberes. A primeira fase da pesquisa, desenvolvida a partir de um conjunto de entrevistas, deu-se com a solicitação de lembranças acerca de diferentes etapas da vida (Educação Familiar, Educação Básica, Formação Acadêmica e Experiências Profissionais). Na segunda fase os professores foram convidados a realizar análise compreensivo-reflexiva (reflexão autobiográfica) do material relatado, que objetivou a análise sobre a existência ou não de aspectos do que foi relatado que ainda influenciasse ou que já tivesse influenciado na formação e atuação profissional. Participou deste estudo um professor com três anos de docência; outro com quatro anos; outro com dezesseis anos; outro professor com vinte e um anos e dois professores com trinta anos de profissão. Os professores, ao longo do exercício de reflexão autobiográfica, apontaram a prática profissional como principal etapa biográfica responsável pela aprendizagem da docência. Contudo, o desenvolvimento da reflexão autobiográfica possibilitou a transformação da compreensão inicial de que a prática pedagógica seria aprendida com o decorrer da carreira, e que o processo de constituição docente e de construção dos saberes necessários à prática educativa teve início antes do ingresso no curso de graduação, ao longo da Educação Familiar e Educação Básica, principalmente nas aulas de Educação Física dos Ensinos Fundamental e Médio, que contou com o esporte como conteúdo hegemônico. Ficou demonstrado que a carreira profissional é um processo formativo que proporcionou importantes transformações nas compreensões dos professores, possibilitando, principalmente aos professores com maior tempo de carreira, transformações em seus saberes docentes. Contudo foi possível acessar que etapas anteriores de vida, e a própria formação profissional desencadeada na graduação, também ofereceram elementos de referências à prática pedagógica dos professores. Para os professores com menor tempo de carreira, a graduação demonstrou ter sido um período de formação que ofereceu modelos de referências que proporcionaram rupturas com modelos construídos ao longo da Educação Básica. Em relação aos professores com maior tempo de carreira, a prática pedagógica, principalmente depois de acumulados aproximadamente dez anos de atuação profissional gerou transformações significativas nos saberes sobre conteúdos, objetivos, metodologias de ensino e avaliação constituídos nos períodos da Educação Básica e reproduzidos no Ensino Superior. Diversos elementos biográficos desde a Educação Familiar, passando pelas experiências com diferentes manifestações corporais da Cultura de Movimento dentro e fora da escola, o processo educativo formal escolar e a graduação foram evidenciados e reconhecidos pelos professores como influenciadores de aprendizagens que intencionalmente ou ocasionalmente viriam à baila durante as ações didático-pedagógicas. O caminho metodológico adotado na pesquisa proporcionou aos professores a compreensão da complexidade do processo de transformação do sujeito em docente de Educação Física e a dinâmica de constituição e ressignificação dos saberes ao longo de toda a trajetória de vida Abstract: Outlining the bibliographical trajectories and life paths of six Physical Education professors throughout their career and life was the main objective of our research in order to understand the processes of teacher education and the route of setting up their knowledge. In order to do this, the research sought to achieve the bibliographic elements which make the subject teachers and then reconstruct the flow of acquisition of knowledge. The first phase of research, which was developed from an individual set of interviews with each one of our participants, occurred as memories related to different stages of life (Family Education, Elementary through High School Education, Academic Background and Professional Experiences). On the second stage, the same educators were suggested to perform reflexive and understandable analysis (autobiographical reflection) of the data collected on their life account, which had the objective to determine the analysis of whether the existence of aspects in the account were still, or had been, in any other moment, a driving force of influence up to date in their studies background and their professional practices. The participants were: a three year old, a four year, a sixteen year, a twenty year and two thirty year old experienced career professors (6 - total). Throughout the self-biographical exercise, the professors pointed out professional everyday practice as the main biographical stage responsible for the acquisition and mastering of their professional qualifications. However, as the autobiographical reflection process was being carried out, transformation of the initial understanding, that educational practice alone would be learned along the career and as it matured, changed, and that the teaching constitution process of knowledge needed for educational practice had begun before undergraduate school enrollment. Family Education and Basic School played a big part, especially PE (Physical Education) classes in both Elementary School and High School, which included sports as a homogeneous content. It was demonstrated that professional career is a formative process which provided important transformation in our educators' understanding, enabling, especially to those of a longer career, transformation in their academic and teaching knowledge. Nevertheless, it was possible to assess that previous stages of life, and vocational training triggered at undergraduate level, also offered referential elements to educator's teaching practice. For those in the study with shorter careers, undergraduate studies was understood as a formational period which offered referential models and provided a long term Elementary and High School Educational model rupture. When focusing on our more experienced professors, Educational practice and Teaching abilities, especially after ten years in the professional field, produced significant transformation in knowledge related to content, objectives, teaching approach and evaluation acquired in Basic Education and moreover reproduced in Higher Education level. A number of diverse biographical elements, ranging from Family Education, moving on to a variety of experiences on different corporal manifestations related to Movement Culture in both school and out of school environment, formal educational process and academic undergraduate studies were observed and detected by our teachers as influential factors in learning experience which intentionally or occasionally would come to play during educational-didactical action. Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Fisica Resumo: A pesquisa buscou as compreensões de uma professora de Educação Física sobre os saberes cotidianos de seus alunos em relação à cultura corporal de movimento, procurando entender a forma como a docente lidava e acessava estes saberes no contexto das aulas para, com isso, chegar aos motivos da configuração de sua prática pedagógica. Optou-se por um estudo de cunho qualitativo de perspectiva etnográfica, ancorado nos pressupostos da ¿descrição densa¿. Foram observadas quarenta aulas no ensino fundamental, vinte delas realizadas com uma primeira série e a outra metade com uma segunda série. A pesquisa etnográfica foi desenvolvida durante três meses, entre abril e junho de 2007 em uma escola pública da Rede Estadual de São Paulo, na cidade de Campinas. Posteriormente à observação das aulas, foram realizadas duas entrevistas semi-estruturadas com a professora, ambas no próprio ambiente em que foi desenvolvida a pesquisa. A primeira buscou chegar às compreensões da professora sobre a especificidade da Educação Física, sobre os alunos, sobre as aulas e seus conteúdos e sobre os saberes cotidianos dos alunos. A segunda abordou o percurso biográfico da professora, vislumbrando traçar um breve perfil do seu processo de formação pessoal e profissional. Dentre os aspectos mais expressivos alcançados, destacou-se a compreensão da docente de que os saberes cotidianos dos alunos desencadeariam situações conflituosas, tendo, por isso, um caráter negativo ao contexto da aula. Agregados a esse entendimento, a ausência de planejamento, a falta de direcionamento pedagógico e a dificuldade de compreensão da especificidade da Educação Física na escola também se mostraram como fatores determinantes para o não acesso aos saberes cotidianos dos alunos. Apesar disso, os diferentes saberes, conceitos e entendimentos das crianças, ao longo das observações, foram constantemente revelados. A não apropriação dos saberes cotidianos mostrou-se um dos principais fatores influenciadores da resistência de um grupo de alunos à participação nas atividades propostas. Destacou-se também a compreensão da professora de que os diversos saberes gerariam relações desiguais por causa dos variados níveis de habilidades entre as crianças. Tal compreensão desmobilizava a professora no sentido de tentar práticas pedagógicas que problematizassem as situações conflituosas geradas nas brincadeiras e jogos por ela propostos, levando ao abandono de tais atividades no contexto das aulas. A partir da pesquisa, chegou-se à consideração de que o acesso aos saberes cotidianos, ancorados nas transgressões e comparações realizadas constantemente nas aulas pelos alunos, pode ser uma estratégia didático-pedagógica profícua para se transformar o contexto da aula de Educação Física, tornando-o mais atrativo e motivador de aprendizagens sobre as diferentes práticas corporais que compõem a cultura corporal de movimento Abstract: The research has sought the understandings of a Physical Education teacher on the daily knowledge of her students concerning a bodily culture of movement, aiming to comprehend the ways how the professional dealt with and gained access to such knowledge in her class context; that in order to reach the reasons governing the configuration of her pedagogic practice. A study of qualitative character, of ethnographic perspective based on the presupposition of 'dense description¿, was chosen. Forty classes were observed, twenty of which taught to a first-grade group, and the other half to second-graders. The ethnographic research was carried on during three months, between April and June 2007, in a São Paulo State public school in the city of Campinas. Following the observation of the classes, two semi-structured interviews with the teacher were made ¿ both in the same environment where the research was carried on. The first sought to reach the understandings of the teacher on the specificity of Physical Education; on the students, the classes and its contents, as well as the students¿ daily knowledge. The second was focused on the biographic route of the teacher, aiming to trace a brief profile of her process of personal and professional training. Among the more expressive aspects which were achieved, it was specially noted the understanding, by the teacher, that the students¿ daily knowledge would trigger conflictive situations, thus bearing a negative character to the class context. Added to such an understanding, a lack of planning, a lack of pedagogical orientation and a difficulty to comprehend the specificity of Physical Education at school were also decisive factors for not gaining access to the students¿ daily knowledge. Nevertheless, the various types of knowledge, the several conceptions and understandings by the children were constantly revealed during the observations. The non-appropriation of the daily knowledge appeared as one of the main factors to influence the resistance of a group of students towards participating on the proposed activities. It was also highlighted the understanding, by the teacher, that such several types of knowledge would generate unequal relations due to the existence of many different levels of ability among the children. Such an understanding would hamper the teacher¿s progress concerning the attempt to use pedagogical practices to problematise the conflictive situations generated during the plays and games proposed by her, which lead to the abandonment of such activities in the class context. From the research, it was considered that access to the daily knowledge, harboured in the transgressions and comparisons that are constantly made by the students in class, may be a profitable didactical-pedagogic strategy to transform the context of Physical Education class, making it more attractive and a motivator for learning on the different bodily practices which compose the bodily culture of movement Mestrado Educação Física e Sociedade Mestre em Educação Física

Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Física Resumo: Esta pesquisa teve como tema central o impacto que a implementação do Currículo do Estado de São Paulo para a disciplina Educação Física (CEF-SP) tem tido na atuação diária dos professores desta disciplina. O objetivo foi compreender como uma professora desta rede de ensino constrói sua prática pedagógica a partir das orientações curriculares oficiais para a disciplina. Para isso, adotou-se a realização de um estudo de caso etnográfico, referenciado pela definição de "descrição densa" proposta por Clifford Geertz. O trabalho de campo se deu em uma escola do município de Rio Claro, no decorrer de 16 semanas, sendo realizados 25 dias de observação de aula e duas entrevistas semi-estruturadas com a professora. Ao longo das observações foi possível acompanhar na dinâmica desenvolvida em aula pela professora a maneira como esta integrou as orientações curriculares a sua prática docente. As entrevistas buscaram abordar aspectos relacionados à sua trajetória pessoal e profissional, seu entendimento dos documentos curriculares e suas justificativas para as ações tomadas nas aulas. O que se encontrou foi que a professora desenvolveu uma prática pedagógica a partir do currículo na qual ela não apenas "aplicou" as orientações sugeridas no Caderno do Professor (documento base para sua prática), mas promoveu, por meio de um processo de interação com o currículo, significativas modificações ao adotar, adaptar e excluir propostas presentes nele, além de desenvolver atividades e experiências não previstas nos documentos oficiais. A esse processo de interação com o currículo demos o nome de "alternativa curricular". Com base na abordagem dos saberes docentes reconheceu-se que na construção de sua alternativa curricular a professora se apoia principalmente (embora não unicamente) em seus saberes experienciais, constituídos ao longo de sua socialização pré-profissional (relação familiar e escolaridade básica) e profissional, na prática do trabalho docente e relação com os pares. Esses saberes favorecem o surgimento de certezas experienciais e a avaliação dos outros saberes (como os curriculares do CEF-SP), o que faz com que a adoção do currículo pela professora Lolla se dê por um processo de "retomada crítica" em que as orientações curriculares são avaliadas e retraduzidas com base nas certezas construídas na experiência e na prática docente, dando origem à sua alternativa curricular. Diante do que foi visto no estudo, percebe-se que a implementação curricular tem causado modificações sensíveis à prática educacional da Educação Física nas escolas paulistas. Sugere-se que novos estudos, que levem em conta a dinâmica complexa do cotidiano escolar sejam realizados e que os saberes experienciais estejam contemplados em vista da centralidade que assumem na construção da prática pedagógica. Por fim, afirma-se a importância de os professores serem reconhecidos como produtores de um saber especializado e prático, o qual precisa ser reconhecido e valorizado Abstract: This research had as its central theme the impact that the implementation of the Curriculum the State of São Paulo for Physical Education (CEF-SP) has had on daily activities of teachers of this discipline. The objective was to understand how a teacher of this school system builds their practice from the official curriculum guidelines for the discipline. For this, we adopted the execution of an ethnographic case study, referenced by the definition of "thick description" proposed by Clifford Geertz. The fieldwork took place in a school in Rio Claro, in the course of 16 weeks, being held 25 days of classroom observation and two semi-structured interviews with the teacher. Throughout the observations was possible to follow the dynamics developed in the classroom by the teacher how this integrated curriculum guidelines to their teaching practice. The interviews sought to address issues related to their personal and professional life, their understanding of the curriculum documents and their justifications for actions taken in class. What we found was that the teacher developed a pedagogical practice from the curriculum in which she not only "applied" the guidelines suggested in the Teacher's Notebook (base document for your practice), but promoted, through a process of interaction with the curriculum, significant changes to adopt, adapt and present proposals to delete it, and develop activities and experiences not covered in official documents. This process of interaction with the curriculum we have called "alternative curriculum". Based on the approach of teaching knowledge was recognized that in building their alternative curriculum the teacher relies primarily (though not exclusively) on their experiential knowledge, built up over their pre-professional socialization (family relationship and basic education) and professional in practice of teaching and peer relations. This knowledge favoring the emergence of experiential certainties and evaluation of other knowledge (such as curriculum EFC-SP), which makes the adoption of the curriculum for teacher Lolla be given by a process of "critical recovery" in the curriculum guidelines are evaluated and retranslated based on certainties built on experience and teaching practice, giving rise to its alternative curriculum. Given what was seen in the study, one realizes that the curriculum implementation has caused modifications sensitive to educational practice of Physical Education in São Paulo schools. It is suggested that further studies that take into account the complex dynamics of everyday school life are realized and that the experiential knowledge are contemplated in view of the centrality assume that the construction of pedagogic practice. Orientador: Eliana Ayoub Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Resumo: Essa tese tematiza a prática pedagógica de professores de educação física que atuam nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental com o objetivo de depreender os saberes que servem de base ao seu trabalho docente. Com base na compreensão de que os saberes docentes se constituem uma realidade social que se estabelece na articulação entre aspectos sociais e individuais, entendeu-se no contexto desta pesquisa, que, ao se conhecer esses saberes e sua dinâmica de produção nas práticas de ensino dos professores é possível construir uma dada leitura do ensino da educação física nas escolas que pode contribuir para sua compreensão. O estudo foi orientado pela seguinte questão: que saberes são mobilizados e, ao mesmo tempo, mobilizam os professores de educação física a realizar o ensino desse componente curricular na escola da forma como o fazem no contexto de suas aulas? A partir desse questionamento, outra pergunta foi apresentada como parte constitutiva da problemática da investigação: que contribuições o estudo dos saberes docentes de professores de educação física pode trazer ao ensino da educação física nas escolas? A pesquisa de campo foi desenvolvida com a colaboração de dois professores de educação física dos anos iniciais de uma escola da rede municipal de ensino da cidade de Limeira/SP, Tiago e Eduardo (nomes fictícios). As etapas realizadas foram: um período inicial de observação das aulas com registro em diário de campo; a realização de uma entrevista semiestruturada com cada professor; videogravações das aulas desses docentes, totalizando aproximadamente 23 horas e 20 minutos; desse total, 21 cenas de aulas de cada professor foram escolhidas para a coanálise de seus conteúdos pelos professores e pesquisador em duas entrevistas de autoconfrontação simples com cada docente; as entrevistas semiestruturadas e de autoconfrontação simples foram transcritas para análise. Para leitura, análise e compreensão dos dados/achados da pesquisa de campo tomou-se como inspiração o paradigma indiciário ao movimento interpretativo realizado. Um aspecto evidenciado a respeito dos saberes docentes dos professores Tiago e Eduardo foi sua pluralidade de saberes, informados por diferentes espaços sociais: saberes provenientes da infância, de outros espaços profissionais (extraescolares), das experiências discentes na educação física, da formação acadêmica para a docência, do programa curricular de sua rede de ensino e de suas próprias experiências docentes. Seus saberes docentes mostraram-se indissociáveis em toda sua pluralidade e heterogeneidade. Da experiência na profissão, foi analisada de forma acentuada a questão das apropriações docentes dos discursos didático-pedagógicos da área, as quais apareceram sempre atravessadas pelos saberes dos professores. O estudo dos saberes docentes dos dois professores participantes do estudo a partir de suas práticas de ensino e seus discursos pedagógicos mostrou-se uma "janela" importante para questões que perpassam as práticas profissionais dos professores escolares e indica um interessante movimento de aproximação entre os campos profissional e acadêmico da educação física Abstract: This thesis focuses on the pedagogical practice of physical education teachers who work in the early years of elementary school in order to understand the knowledge that serves as the basis for their teaching work. Based on the understanding that the teaching knowledge constitutes a social reality that is established in the articulation between social and individual aspects, it was understood in the context of this research, that, when knowing this knowledge and its production dynamics in the teaching practices of teachers it is possible to build a given reading of physical education teaching in schools that can contribute to their understanding. The study was guided by the following question: what knowledge is mobilized and, at the same time, mobilizes physical education teachers to carry out the teaching of this curricular component at school as they do in the context of their classes? From this questioning, another question was presented as a constituent part of the research problem: what contributions can the study of teaching knowledge of physical education teachers bring to the teaching of physical education in schools? The field research was developed with the collaboration of two physical education teachers from the initial years of a school in the municipal education network in the city of Limeira / SP, Tiago and Eduardo (fictitious names). The steps performed were: an initial period of observation of the classes recorded in a field diary; conducting a semi-structured interview with each teacher; video recordings of these teachers' classes, totaling approximately 23 hours and 20 minutes; of this total, 21 scenes of lessons from each teacher were chosen for the co-analysis of their contents by teachers and researcher in two simple self-confrontation interviews with each teacher; semi-structured and simple self-confrontation interviews were transcribed for analysis. For reading, analysis and understanding of the data / findings of the field research, the evidentiary paradigm for the interpretive movement carried out was inspired. One aspect highlighted regarding the teaching knowledge of teachers Tiago and Eduardo was their plurality of knowledge, informed by different social spaces: knowledge from childhood, from other professional spaces (out of school), from student experiences in physical education, from academic training to teaching, the curriculum of their teaching network and their own teaching experiences. Their teaching knowledge proved to be inseparable in all its plurality and heterogeneity. From the experience in the profession, the issue of teaching appropriations of the didactic-pedagogical discourses of the area was intensely analyzed, which always appeared crossed by the teachers' knowledge. The study of the teaching knowledge of the two teachers participating in the study from their teaching practices and their pedagogical discourses proved to be an important "window" for issues that permeate the professional practices of school teachers and indicates an interesting movement of approximation between the fields professional and academic of physical education Doutorado Educação Doutor em Educação CNPQ 142042/2016-1

Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Física Resumo: Este trabalho teve como objetivo central compreender como as diferenças e os significados são produzidos nas aulas de educação física por crianças do quarto ano do ensino fundamental da Prefeitura de Jundiaí - SP. O grande empenho foi compreender o proposto a partir das dinâmicas culturais infantis, considerando as crianças envolvidas ativamente neste processo de diferenciação. A pesquisa de cunho etnográfico foi realizada ao longo de dois bimestres letivos com uma turma formada por vinte e seis alunos (oito meninos e dezoito meninas). Além das aulas de educação física, compõem este estudo os momentos de entrada e saída da escola, os tempos de recreação e outros dias letivos pertinentes. Os caminhos tomados ao longo deste estudo levaram em conta a necessidade de elaborar uma "descrição densa" para que as exposições e observações dispostas fossem capazes de considerar os significados envolvidos nas ações das crianças e suas hierarquias; caminhos estes que foram guiados pela diferença entre os atores sociais envolvidos neste processo. O estudo de cunho etnográfico realizado nos permitiu traduzir o que as observações e as crianças tinham a dizer sobre o tema. Estas análises e seus relatos foram ordenados posteriormente em eixos de interpretação tais como: o "saber fazer bem" nas aulas de educação física, as diferenças e desigualdades experimentadas pelas crianças e os momentos que insinuavam inclusões e exclusões ao longo do processo educativo. Ao longo dos bimestres, compreendemos que os significados atribuídos às ações e às diferenças eram construções sociais estabelecidas entre os pares nas aulas de educação física. Neste sentido, considerar as diferenciações como produções sociais é argumentar a favor de estratégias pedagógicas e curriculares para abordar estas diferenças, discutindo suas produções e os mecanismos envolvidos em sua criação e fixação. A pesquisa realizada contribui, portanto, para o entendimento que são necessárias estratégias que expliquem os processos de produção das diferenciações, fornecendo à discussão sobre as diferenças um lugar importante no campo acadêmico da educação física Abstract: The main goal of this research is to comprehend how differences and meanings are produced during physical education classes by children of the 4th year of elementary schools of the city of Jundiaí ¿ SP. A great effort has been made in order to comprehend this through the children¿s cultural dynamics, considering the children who were actively involved in this process of differentiation. This research, of ethnographical approach, was carried out during four school months in which we observed a class composed of twenty-six students (eight boys and eighteen girls). The observations happened not only during the physical education classes, but also during the arrival and departure of the students, as well as other relevant school days. During this study we considered the need to elaborate a "thick description" in order for them to allow us to consider the meanings involved in the children¿s actions and its hierarchies; the paths we took during the research were guided by the difference between the social actors involved in the process. The ethnographical approach allowed us to translate what the observations and the children had to say about the theme. These analysis and their reports were later ordered in interpretative guidelines, such as: knowing how to do things well in physical education classes; differences and inequalities experienced by the children; and the moments that implied inclusions and exclusions throughout the educative process. Throughout the four months, we understood that the meanings attributed to the actions and differences were social constructions established among peers during the physical education classes. In this sense, considering the differentiations as social productions is arguing in favor of pedagogical and curricular strategies to approach these differences, discussing their production and the mechanisms involved in their creation and establishment. The contribution of the research is in the sense of understanding the need of strategies that explain the production processes of these differentiations, giving an important role to the discussion about differences in the academic field of physical education Mestrado Educação Física e Sociedade Mestra em Educação Física CNPQ

Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Física Resumo: Este trabalho busca envolver as seguintes temáticas: Educação Física, juventude e ensino médio, para apreender a Educação Física nos últimos anos da educação básica a partir do que dizem os jovens, considerando os sentidos que eles atribuem à este componente curricular. As perguntas que nortearam esse trabalho são: Quais são os sentidos atribuídos à Educação Física pelos jovens após vivenciada uma prática inovadora? Qual o interesse dos jovens na escola? Como os jovens entendem que a Educação Física escolar está vinculada a esses interesses? Como a visão de Educação Física e de escola do professor de Educação Física intervêm no modo dos jovens conceberem a área? Ao olhar para o grupo de alunos do ensino médio busquei considerar os jovens alunos como sujeitos, estudantes de uma determinada escola, influenciados e influentes por/em suas redes de sociabilidade, com uma certa trajetória escolar, com crenças e valores diversos. Tudo isso está relacionado com a dinâmica da vida social dos jovens e sugere atribuições de sentidos à Educação Física. Para delimitação de um campo investigativo da pesquisa que desse voz aos jovens o meio de pesquisa utilizado foi a técnica do Grupo Focal ¿ GF, e para enfatizar a prática do professor de Educação Física desse grupo foi realizada uma entrevista com o mesmo. O Grupo Focal foi realizado em uma escola da rede estadual de ensino, localizada em Campinas-SP, com jovens do segundo ano de ensino médio, alunos de um mesmo professor de Educação Física, o qual foi identificado na pesquisa como professor com práticas inovadoras. No Grupo Focal foram realizados debates e outras dinâmicas como estratégia para discutir com os jovens sobre as questões norteadoras da pesquisa. Para tanto, no primeiro capítulo, busco esclarecer o caminho que foi seguido para desenvolver a pesquisa, como foi estabelecido o diálogo com os jovens, ilustrar o cenário da pesquisa e apresentar de forma sucinta os sujeitos envolvidos no trabalho. No segundo, abordo o que é juventude, como se dá a construção da identidade juvenil e suas implicações na relação da escola com a juventude; em seguida, no terceiro, revisito literaturas próprias da Educação Física para explicitar nossa visão da área, a qual nos possibilita pensar uma proposta para este componente curricular no ensino médio que busca considerar seu público alvo ¿ os jovens. Após, nos quarto e quinto capítulos apresento as reflexões e interpretações subsidiadas no campo investigativo com os jovens e na entrevista com o professor. Por fim, apresento as considerações finais Abstract: This work seeks to involve the following themes: Physical Education, youth and high school, to seize physical education in high school from young people who say, considering the way they attach to this curriculum component. The questions that guided this work are: What are the meanings attributed to physical education for young people experienced after an innovative practice? What is the interest of young people in school? How young people understand that the Physical Education is linked to such interests? As the vision of Physical Education and School Physical Education teacher involved in youth so designing the area? In focus group discussions were conducted and other dynamic as a strategy to discuss with young people about the guiding research questions. To this end, in the first chapter, I seek to clarify the path that was followed to develop research, as established dialogue with young people illustrate the scenario of research and present briefly the subjects involved in the work. In the second, we discuss what's youth, how is the construction of youth identity and its implications in the school's relationship with the youth; then in the third, revisit own literatures of Physical Education to explain our view of the area, which enables us to think about a proposal for this curriculum component in high school that seeks to consider your target audience - young people. After, the fourth and fifth chapters present the reflections and interpretations subsidized in the investigative field with young people and in the interview with the teacher. Orientador: Marco Antonio Coelho Bortoleto Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Física Resumo: É notório o aumento do trato das atividades circenses como conteúdo na educação física escolar, dinâmica que pode ser observada igualmente no incremento da produção acadêmica. Tomando como ponto de partida o contexto anunciado anteriormente, o objetivo desta pesquisa consistiu, em primeiro lugar, em analisar "o estado da arte" no que diz respeito à produção acadêmica dedicada ao estudo das atividades circenses no âmbito educativo, particularmente na escola, para, num segundo momento, realizar um estudo de campo descritivo sobre como esta prática vem sendo abordada em duas escolas, uma no Brasil e outra na Espanha. Os resultados confirmam a tendência anunciada, isto é, de que as atividades circenses estão cada vez mais presentes nas aulas de educação física e de que existe um incremento da produção acadêmica sobre este assunto, embora a maior parte dos estudos ainda trate sobre relatos de experiência. Contudo, apesar do aumento da sistematização e da reflexão sobre a pedagogia das atividades circenses, percebemos que os avanços ainda são tímidos frente ao significativo aumento das experiências escolares. Por outra parte, a pesquisa revela como diferentes propostas pedagógicas, tanto na iniciativa privada quanto na pública, podem alcançar resultados expressivos, quer na dimensão conceitual como também na prática das atividades circenses Abstract: We are attending to an increase in the treatment of circus activities as content in physical education during school years; this is a dynamic that can also be observed in the increase of academic output. Taking as a starting point the context previously announced, the aim of this research was, firstly, to analyze "the state of art" in terms of the academic output devoted to the study of circus activities within the educational field. This research is focused particularly on school years with the intention of, in a second step; carry out a descriptive field study on how this practice is developed in two different schools, one located in Brazil and the other one placed in Spain. The outcomes confirm the tendency previously announced, that means that the circus activities are increasingly present in physical education classes and that it also exists an increase in academic output on the subject, although most of the studies are still mainly based on experience reports. Still, despite the increasing of the systematization and reflection on the pedagogy of circus activities, we notice that the progress is still tepid compared to the significant increase in the school experiences. On the other hand, the enquiry shows how different educational proposals in both the private and public initiative can achieve significant results, either in the conceptual dimension, but also in practice, of the circus activities Mestrado Educação Física e Sociedade Mestre em Educação Física

Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Física Resumo: A presente pesquisa analisou as brincadeiras realizadas no ambiente escolar, em aulas de educação física e no horário do recreio, por duas turmas da segunda série de uma escola pública da cidade de Campinas-SP, buscando compreender alguns dos significados presentes nessas brincadeiras inseridas naquele contexto específico. O olhar para essas brincadeiras, por sua vez, levou em consideração os sujeitos envolvidos, as crianças, dialogando com a discussão acumulada em torno das noções de criança, do brincar, de escola e de cultura, abarcando principalmente as contribuições das áreas acadêmicas da Antropologia, Pedagogia e Educação Física de forma a ampliar o escopo de análise. A observação das aulas de educação física de duas turmas da segunda série, com duas aulas semanais cada uma, e do horário do recreio nesses mesmos dias foi registrada no caderno de campo por um período, aproximadamente, de seis meses e foram realizadas entrevistas com algumas crianças. A noção do brincar certo e do brincar não obedecendo às regras foram as categorias centrais que orientavam o brincar nas aulas de educação física e no recreio para cada turma observada e estavam relacionadas, entre outros aspectos, com a concepção de escola dos membros de cada grupo. Espera-se contribuir para a ampliação da noção do brincar em suas relações com o ambiente escolar, assim como para a intervenção do professor de educação física na escola a partir da discussão dos aspectos socioculturais que perpassam determinado elemento da cultura corporal Abstract: This research examined the games played in the school environment, in physical education classes and playground time, for two classes of second grade in a public school in the city of Campinas, SP, trying to understand some of the meanings embedded in those games in that context specific. Look for these games, in turn, took into consideration the individuals involved, children, talking with the accumulated discussion around the notions of child, play, school and culture, covering mainly the contributions of academic fields of Anthropology, Education and Physical Education in order to expand the scope of analysis. The observation of physical education classes from two classes of second grade, two hours per week each, and hours of playground time in those days was recorded in field notebooks for a period of approximately six months and conduct interviews with some children. The notion of playing right and play not obeying the rules were the main categories that guided the play in physical education and playground time for each class observed and were related with the concept of education of members of each group. Orientador: Jocimar Daolio Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Fisica Resumo: Este estudo tem como temática a Educação Física escolar no ensino fundamental, desenvolvida na perspectiva da cultura corporal e teve como sustentação teórica os pressupostos da Educação Física Plural, defendida por Jocimar Daolio e amparada nas Ciências Humanas, especificamente na Antropologia Social. O objeto de investigação é o denominado Projeto Plurianual. Este projeto foi realizado numa escola pública, com quatro classes de quintas séries, e acompanhadas até a oitava série, final do ciclo do Ensino Fundamental. O trabalho está estruturado em três partes: no primeiro capítulo, o relato da minha trajetória na escola pública, as vivências no interior do ambiente escolar, a questão da formação contínua e das dificuldades que o ensino público impõe por meio de políticas educacionais que dificultam o acesso do professor à capacitação e atualização profissional. O segundo capítulo traz como tema o trabalho desenvolvido na escola, fazendo a reflexão da minha vivência no ambiente escolar, o percurso da organização e desenvolvimento do Projeto Plurianual, o entendimento inicial dos pressupostos da Educação Física Plural às situações de práticas pedagógicas, metodológicas e vivência com os alunos e, a trajetória da formação continuada que me levou ao interesse de pesquisar a própria prática. O terceiro capítulo, no primeiro momento, trata dos pressupostos da Educação Física Plural nas limitações do entendimento inicial à vivência acadêmica. O curso de Mestrado mostrou-me a extensão da fundamentação teórica e os princípios da Educação Física escolar defendida por Jocimar Daolio. O segundo momento procura aproximar os conceitos teóricos da Educação e da Educação Física, na perspectiva da Antropologia Social e, também, aponta a importância da cultura na educação escolarizada e a necessidade de desenvolver esse conhecimento com os alunos, propósito defendido pelos pressupostos da Educação Física Plural. Nas Considerações Finais, são destacados os estudos, as ações e as dificuldades enfrentadas para a realização deste trabalho. Além disso, apresenta as possibilidades de contribuição da Educação Física Plural, verificadas por meio desse estudo Abstract: This study¿s theme is the Physical Education in Middle School, developed in the perspective of corporal culture. Its theoretical sustentation is based on the presupposed of the Plural Physical Education, defended by Jocimar Daolio, and it is supported on the Human Sciences, specifically on Social Anthropology. The inquiry object is denominated Plural Annual Project, realized in a public school, starting with four fifth grade classrooms until their conclusion of Middle School, on the eighth grade. The work is structured in three parts. In the first chapter, the report of my trajectory on public school, the life experiences inside the school environment, the issue of the continued formation and difficulties that the public teaching instruction imposes through the educational politics that difficulties the access for the teacher to the qualification and to the professional update. The second chapter¿s theme is the work developed in school environment, the way the organization and the development of the Plural Annual Project was going to, the initial understanding of the presupposed of Plural Physical Education to the situations of pedagogical and methodological practices, the life experience with the students and the trajectory of the continued formation that made me interested to research the own practice. The third chapter, at first, is about the presupposed of the Plural Physical Education, from the limitation of the first understanding to the academic life experience. The Masters Degree showed me the extension of the theoretical basis and of the School Physical Education¿s objectives, defended by Jocimar Daolio; at second, the importance to bring the theoretical concepts of the Education and of the Physical Education closer, with the perspective of Social Anthropology and also pointing out the importance of the culture on school education, and the need to amplify this knowledge with the students, intention defended by the presupposed of the Plural Physical Education. In the Final Considerations we can detach the studies, actions and difficulties contemplated to realize this work, they point, also, the possibilities of contribution of the Plural Physical Education, verified by this study Mestrado Educação Física e Sociedade Mestre em Educação Física
