This paper aims to analyze the potentials and limitations offered by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the educational field, specifically in the context of the pandemic caused by the SARS-COV2 virus. A qualitative research methodology with a documentary approach was employed to gather and analyze a series of relevant documents regarding the use of technology in contingency scenarios as substitutes for traditional learning environments. Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that the pandemic has created an opportunity to rethink educational systems, 1mphasizeng the importance of ICT in the educational field. The need to design and redesign strategies that effectively integrate the use of ICT in classrooms, restructuring teaching and learning processes to ensure quality education, becomes evident. It is worth highlighting that ICT has demonstrated its ability to provide innovative solutions in the educational domain, enabling the continuity of the teaching and learning process during emergency situations such as the current pandemic. However, certain limitations and challenges must be addressed, such as the digital divide and the need for teacher training in the use of these technological tools. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The pandemic of Covid-19 caused modifications in the Brazilian educational processes, therefore, teachers in training were faced with difficulties about the pedagogical approach of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Thus, discussions about the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), focus of research in Brazil since 2009, intensify, mainly, regarding the initial and continuing education of teachers, teaching and learning with the integration of ICT. Thus, the objective of this study is to analyze the publications on TPACK, in Brazil from 2018 to 2021, seeking to answer: which studies and/or reviews published and their typology on the theme? which year has the largest number of publications? The corpus of analysis consisted of 45 works (articles, dissertations, and theses) found in open access databases. The research also presents previous bibliographic reviews, performing a cross-referencing of data and discussions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

it is evident how technology has involved in recent years at an ever-increasing rate, impacting different areas of society, including education. To recognize the incidence of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Colombian schools, it is valuable to identify the research trends in the 21st century (2000 - 2021) that address this field. In this way, in the present state of the art, because of doctoral research, a search for academic articles is carried out in different databases which addresses the ICT basic and secondary school relationship in Colombia. Subsequently, a qualitative and documentary analysis is carried out from the Grounder's theory perspective in three coding moments: open, axial, and selective. Finally, as a result of the analysis of the documentary corpus, made up of forty-six documents, six research trends can be glimpsed: historical approaches to ICTs at school; ICT teacher training, digital divide, school reconfigurations, youth and teacher subjectivity, "and factors of use of ICTs at school". The teacher's action is decisive for the educational work in childhood, therefore, this study aims to discuss the relationship between the teacher and the elaborated culture, as well as the influence of knowledge in the pedagogical relationship with children from 0 to 5 years old. The human development occurs through a cultural-historical process and the acquisition of knowledge occurs through the interaction of the subject with the environment and with others, reinforcing the need for teacher training as an element for the qualification of the educational work. The methodology used was bibliographic research based on Historical and Dialectical Materialism. The results indicate that Early Childhood Education as a space of systematized knowledge has the purpose of promoting the development of the child through proposals intentionally organized by the teacher. This research, therefore, corroborates the reiteration that teaching is the guiding axis for the development of the maximum human potentialities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to understand and deepen the reflection on the ethical dimension in teacher education and performance, emphasizing its importance for the development of a pedagogical praxis in favor of dialogical relationships. Faced with a pedagogical context marked by the conceptions present in contemporaneity that are guided by the condition that students are not seen as subjects of their own history and by the scientific development that privileges doing over thinking, we listed as main questions: what are the actions Could they help teachers to rethink their pedagogical practice, working so that human education becomes the essential aspect? Through a qualitative bibliographic research, based on authors such as Severino, A. J. (2011, 2010), Saviani (2015, 2016), Goergen (2011), Carvalho (2013, 2015, 2016), among others, we will seek to affirm the importance of alterity and presence in the relationship between teachers and students for a humanizing and emancipating education. We consider that every pedagogical action, from its origin and purposes, objectives and goals, has a close relationship with the Ethical Dimension and, therefore, they are ethical processes that, when carried out in the school institution, are committed to elevating the student from his condition as an individual in search of its humanization and emancipation. The Training and the Praxis of the teacher from the Materialist Dialectic, the Cultural Historical Theory and the Critical Historical Pedagogy is the title of this dossier, which proposes to analyze contemporary themes that deal with a critical look at society, education and human training, in order to resume the contributions about dialectical thinking. It intends to discuss the formative processes that involve the school as a social institution responsible for socializing the knowledge produced by humanity, aiming at a quality education that can reverberate in the development of critical thinking of the subjects involved in the process about the objective reality. The texts are based on the Critical-Historical Pedagogy and the Cultural-Historical Theory, and mark their position by pointing out that the enrichment of human existence in its omnilateralism is a process of active and conscious appropriation, by the individual, of the cultural resources present in the environment and the value of interaction between student and student, student and teacher. The article aims the study of eugenic thought in education and its relationship with formative principles of Brazilian nationality in the first half of the 20th century. The documental and bibliographical research methodology focuses on the analytical procedure of written press sources. Materials from the Boletim de Eugenía, the publication of the Instituto Brasileiro de Eugenia and the Comissão Central Brasileira de Eugenia, published between January 1929 and June 1933, were consulted. It is considered that the Boletim de Eugenía purposes were driven by a socially and politically well-positioned literate intellectuality, which had as one of its central objectives the pedagogical interposition in school curricula and in teacher training. It is verified that the prerogative of "eugenic education" would be to select and preserve the hereditary requirements of those considered genetically apt and useful to the country, called "well endowed". - Abstract
This article contextualizes multi-referentiality as a research strategy within the field of education, as it is based on the plurality of readings about the researched object. The experience reported comes from a master's research whose objective was to investigate the reverberations of teacher training in transmediation methodology in pedagogical practices in the classroom. From a qualitative perspective, the multi-referential study used data production instruments such as bibliographic and documentary review, nonparticipant observation, logbook, systematic literature review, semi-structured interview, data systematization through the Iramuteq software, and portfolio content analysis. From this plural look and the connections of meaning, it was possible to elaborate thematic categories that allowed us to look at the data produced with greater amplitude and extract from them the elements for the conversation between teaching practice and the studied theoretical bases. After completing the itinerary, we found that the multireferential approach allowed us to achieve the research objectives from the perspective of studying educational phenomena in a heterogeneous way. With the methodological choices, we concluded that the pedagogical training in transmediation methodology enabled, from the experiments in the classroom, student engagement; the work with language in different media; shared learning; make the student protagonist of their formative process; identify the need for technological appropriation by teachers; and highlighted the need to improve infrastructure in schools in relation to digital technologies. The purpose of this article is to discuss teacher training in Brazil considering the escalation of instrumental rationality in the field of education. The research is of a theoretical nature and is based on the understanding that there is harmony between the federal government and the guidelines of multilateral organizations regarding the development and dissemination of national policies in the field of education. We show how technical rationality manifests itself in the field of education and how this intervention has intensified and accelerated in recent years. We reaffirm the importance of understanding the present with a view to fostering forms of confrontation and resistance to the ongoing neoliberal societal project. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

CATHOLIC education , *TEACHER training , *SCHOOL plays , *TWENTY-first century , *EDUCATIONAL quality - Abstract
Immersed in the 21st century, characterized by the end of certainties, it is necessary to transmute the ways of doing school. Within the educational system, the institution of school supervision plays a fundamental role in these new ways of being and being within schools. It is in its pedagogical function and from its role as guarantor of the continuous training of all teachers in its jurisdiction that it will achieve the expected improvement. The essay consists of the presentation of the most relevant background of the Doctoral Thesis Project, elaborated within the framework of the Doctorate in Education of the Catholic University of Córdoba. The objective is to explore and describe the trajectory of the training function of the zone inspector. The aim is to explain the tendency adopted over time, considering that the academic contribution would have an impact on the denaturalization of the supervisor's training function, so necessary to give answers to the reality of the present century: to accompany managers and teachers so that reflexivity becomes their practice oriented to educational improvement in response to the uncertainty that characterizes contemporaneity. The idea is to build the identity of the school zone inspector today, from different perspectives: theoretical, practical, historical and legal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

GENDER , *PRIMARY education , *PRIMARY school teachers , *TEACHER training , *EDUCATION policy , *STUDENT teachers , *TEACHERS colleges - Abstract
Various investigations have addressed the historical process of feminization of teaching, emphasizing the production of hegemonic meanings or gender mandates that it has implied. In this article we will propose initial reflections on the incidence of these senses in the formative experiences of students of primary education teachers. To do this, we will analyze the discourses from which the students define the teaching profession and the ways in which hegemonic senses about gender are approached in certain training contexts. Based on the analysis carried out, we propose that, although there are "traces" of feminization mandates in different contexts that make up the formative experience of the students, they are in tension with other approaches, causing ruptures. The methodological approach was carried out from an ethnographic approach in a Higher Institute of Teacher Training in a town in the center of the Province of Buenos Aires (Argentina). This article aims to comprehend the narratives produced by two teachers about their profession in Alegrete city/Rio Grande do Sul (RS). The study characterized as a qualitative approach uses a narrative as a reaserch tool in Education. This is based at a vivencia I and experiencial rescue since the study colaboraters, as a teachers work valorization strategy and since their memories recognition. At our conclusive and re-inicializing considerations we evidencíate that the narrative is not limited by the critics on the entrewied teachers work. At the contrary the narrative presuppose a comprehention view concerning each participant at the educational field, as to know the teacher reality from the ones that are there. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This article aims to present the epistemological contributions of Theodor Adorno's thought to the reflection of emancipatory teacher education, based on two concepts, enlightenment and self-reflection. Taking the dialectical perspective as a reference to think about society and its contradictions, as well as teacher education, it is intended to show that, despite the development of capitalism, a system capable of preventing attempts at equitable transformations, there is the possibility of developing an attitude of self-criticism and resistance, which can be put into action by individuals through enlightenment and selfreflection. Training the teacher in an emancipatory proposal requires the adoption of a consistent project that leads to overcome adaptation, unveil social contradictions so that the individual can consciously transit in the world, with the world and for its transformation. ELEMENTARY school teachers , *PORTUGUESE language , *TEACHER training , *SCHOOL environment , *TEACHING - Abstract
This article is a synthesis a final paper, linked to the scientific initiation, carried out in the pedagogy course. The intention of this article is to demonstrate the students' approach with the Sequential Art / Comics, in the sense to produce a significant learning of the Portuguese language content. The experience aimed to analyze the language of Sequential Art / Comics in Portuguese classes, providing the training of teachers to use this teaching tool in the school environment. Methodologically, we made use of a qualitative research, using the case study and participant observation. Thus, it was possible to infer about the language aspects of Sequential Art / Comics used in elementary school by teachers, in order to promote its use in the classroom. We proposed strategies for using the multiple languages found in Sequential Art. As a result, we could observe that there are flaws in the design and use of different resources in the classroom that arouse the interest of students; we observed, as well, that they can be stimulated through materials that do not require high investments, since they are available to everyone. We conclude that the encouragement to learn the language and its different functions — such as interpretation, reading habits and textual understanding —, are factors that need to be addressed more by teachers, from their professional training to their teaching practice. TEACHER training , *TEACHER education , *INFORMATION & communication technologies , *NETWORK society , *SOCIAL change - Abstract
The connected society, in the perspective of cyberculture, influenced by globalization, sustains a perspective of global community in which subjects are faced with almost infinite possibilities of exchanging information through information and communication technologies. The study aims to analyze the training of teachers in distance education from the perspective of the Network Society. Methodologically, the text was constructed through bibliographic research. The theoretical foundations are based on Castells (2009), Levy (2007), Mészáros (2008), Lapa and Pretto (2010), Santos (2009), Dantas (2017), among others. The results show that the viability of teacher training in the perspective of the networked society will become effective when technology serves the changing interests of social reality. It is concluded that teacher training in this perspective may be able to produce knowledge in the scope of cyberculture, establishing the link between education and culture. Even utopian, this training action can go beyond the limits of the educational field itself, strengthening cultures and values. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

TEACHER training courses , *TEACHER training , *THEORY-practice relationship , *TRAINING of educators , *SOCIAL action - Abstract
Teacher training presents itself as one of the challenges in the contemporaneity. The purpose of this study is to discuss the relationship between theory and practice in education as an essential element for the development ofpedagogical work. From this we aim to analyze how the dichotomy or the unit theory and practice can influence the formation of the teacher. It is a qualitative research, subsidized by the critical-dialectic approach based on the presuppositions of emancipatory education, in which it sees formation as an aspect of education for the humanization and emancipation of the subject. We choose for the bibliographic review with the purpose of compiling its theoretical basis. The perspectives pointed out are justified by the need to reflect the educator's training processes, in order to allow a differentiated vision that contributes to educational actions in the current social context, aiming human development beyond the utilitarian demands of the market. According to the tendencies studied in the scope of this analysis it is evaluated that in teacher training courses it is necessary to overcome the dissociation between content and form, theory and practice, elements that constitute one of the dilemmas of the training programs. With this, it is intended to help professor, teachers and future teachers to rethink the formation of critical subjects in which the purpose is to think about training in a continuous way. - Abstract
This article states a reflection, with a prospective view, about the elements that mark the relationship between early childhood educator training and current professional demands. Thus, in the light of literature review in different databases such as: Redalyc, ProQuest, Google Scholar, in addition to research, magazine articles, book chapters and government documents, it was consulted information about the 21st century, Early Childhood Education Policies, Inclusive Education, Educational Management, Training Ethics, Prospective and Education. After the process of consulting and analyzing the literature, it is concluded that there is a need to generate training spaces in which public policies in childhood, inclusion and education management converge, in order to respond assertively, from the pedagogical field, to the training demands of educators who build new worlds anticipating future needs. That is why, the formative process of early childhood teachers must promote the thinking, feeling and work of the professional to impact his/her contexts, becoming a project leader and a transformer agent. This article is an instrument through which we problematize the discussion about the possibilities of developing emancipatory educational activities in teacher training courses based on Tonet's reflections (2013) and from de critical-historic pedagogy. We list four possible activities of this nature, taking into account the specificity of the educational dimension, the contradictions that permeate education in capitalism, the distinction between the immediate interests of the empirical students and the essential interests of the concrete students and, still, the dialectical reciprocity of the contents and forms of teaching, with the ontological priority of content over forms. Thus, such activities are proposed with the greatest concern for a teaching practice that values the critical promotion of the intellectual, scientific, artistic and philosophical level of teachers and students. It is a humanist stance, which defends the elaboration of criticism and human integrity against all the misrepresentations that this form of sociability imposes on us [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this article we present and discuss the value of the ethical dimension present as articulator in the organization of pedagogical work. Whereas Ethics is disfigured by the events and understandings of today's society, in which teachers hide behind masks as proletarians of unnecessary knowledge and useless to capital, analyze the ethical dimension and its importance for the process and educational practice presents itself as an appreciation of the human being and all its manifestations. Understanding the School as a space for interactions, the curriculum becomes a cultural artifact for the teacher to achieve his goal with a humanizing education that aims at the emancipation of the human being. In recent years, the penetrating social influence of digital media popularizes teaching methodologies, proposals and recipes, which, in many cases, lack academic credentials to justify its validity, or even, have already been refuted by the scientific community, becoming in mere educational hoaxes. Given this current reality, this research article reviews and reflects on the training of teachers (general and of science) proposing that it should be based on accredited research results, to achieve high educational standards. The proposal is articulated around several educational elements: some, contributed by the didactics of science, such as scientific and technological literacy, education in context and training model of science teachers, and others, contributed by general educational research, such as professional teaching knowledge, test-based research, cognitions, educational neuroscience and critical thinking. The reflection emphasizes the themes and needs shared between these elements, proposing the concept of critical literacy, which is developed in a taxonomy of critical thinking skills, considered essential for teacher training in the digital information space, common to all current education. Finally, an empirical model and some general features are suggested, such as the integration of knowledge and the development of critical thinking skills during teacher training, to meet current teaching and learning requirements in relation to critical literacy in science and technology. CRITICAL discourse analysis , *GRAFFITI , *CRITICAL thinking , *SCHOOL environment , *TEACHER training - Abstract
This work aims at theoretical-methodological reflections regarding the research concerning representations of sexualities and gender in graffiti produced by adolescents in a School Unit in the interior of the State of São Paulo between the years 2018 and 2019. It is an object of study of the political-pedagogical nature of education, of social relations and not linked to purely technical issues. For the methodology we opted for the descriptive-exploratory research, of qualitative nature. We use elements of the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), because they contribute to think about the production of graffiti as texts, examine linguistic, imagery, sociocultural aspects, reflections on the pedagogy process present in graffiti, analyze the discursive plots of power in our patriarchal and Christian society. In graffiti collected in a school environment, we seek to identify and analyze yearnings, doubts, construction of masculinities and femininities, subjectivities as well as gender stigmas and prejudices. The results point out the need for reflection, discussion, visibility of this theme in the processes of professional and continuing teacher training, curricular inclusion, because due to the political and pedagogical interests in education, it invisibilized from its official documents as in the National Curricular Common Base questions of gender and of sexuality. - Abstract
This article brings a study related to Teacher Training. It brings reflections resulting from a technical visit by Unesp professors, Campi de Assis and Marília, Cergy-Pontoise University and École Superieure du Professorat et de l'Éducation (ÉSPÉ), France, with financial support from PROGRAD and PROPG / Unesp. It was possible to know the formative process of teachers of France in order to think about the formation of our teachers, with main focus at the moment in which they carry out their internships. The major challenge lies in the articulation of theory and practice, which commonly causes astonishment to the trainees when they arrive at the school environment and need to create a reflection for the performance, that is, to look at the terrain of the school based on the knowledge accumulated in the formation. With a comparative study, it is possible to think about Teacher Training in Brazil and the possibilities of involvement with the school space. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The present text is an essay on childhood and teacher education, making approximations and meetings that put in question the school, the education, the teaching, the time. Childhood is not considered a category of chronological time, but an establishing force of possibility, impossibility, questions, interruptions. Childhood is affirmed beyond an age, understood as existence, life, embodied in any body and in another temporality. It is interesting to ask about the childhoods that go through the teacher formation and, perhaps, think not only how we form childhood, but how childhood forms us. How do they potencialize teachers work? Under what conditions do these childhoods arise? Is the teacher becoming a maturation of childhood, childhood or childhood? What gestures tear and explode with the ways we get used to being with the children and the ways we are used to becoming teachers? These questions have accompanied me in the challenge of devoting sensitivity, attention and listening to the senses emanating from childhood, and the childhood that emanates from the senses, in the exercise of being a teacher of Early Childhood Education. Therefore, this work is inspired by the childhoods of children of the Secondary Education of Pedro II College, in childhoods of my teaching with these subjects, in beginnings, openings and beginnings that potentiate to inhabit the school and become a teacher in a childish way. Educational axiology is not only a set of inherent and explicit rules with respect to education; it constitutes its very core. What is valuable lies in the essence of the educational act, transcending all formal limits. When we speak of "quality criteria" or standards for teaching, axiology becomes an element that is essential to ensure comprehensive education. In this article, the authors look at the make-up of one's personal axiological structure, based on a descriptive analysis of the Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ) by Shalom Schwartz. A sample of 337 participants, including practicing teachers and those in training, was used to approximate the values that predominate in the composition of a teacher's identity with respect to values. The authors maintain that the different axiological profiles charted by the PVQ are manifest in each classroom and lend true meaning to the study of values in the field of education. According to the authors, the data obtained in the study shows high levels of reliability and internal consistency in the values analyzed with the Schwartz PVQ. In general, they were able to verify that practicing teachers and those in training are consistent when it comes to self-transcendence, since the values they possess are oriented more towards benevolence and universalism, which are typical of an altruistic or collectivist profile. - Abstract
This paper discourses about the tension between teachers and technologies evidenced by a research made during a teacher training course. The research is exploratory with qualitative analysis and a multi referential training-research methodology and started from the following question: How does the reconstruction of meanings related to digital technologies and education is made in the context of the teachers of Canoas city in Rio Grande do Sul? In order to make the study, an academic extension teacher training course was developed and applied to the teachers of basic education in the b-learning modality (presential and online meetings). In this research it is possible to evidence that the reconstruction of meanings happens in the human's ability of make meanings and this can be seen in the interactions that happened during the course. - Abstract
The study is a systematic review on the impact of training actions on the use of technologies in teaching practices, its main effects, and challenges. The sample is the result of the survey of complete scientific articles indexed in the Scientific Electronic Library Online - (SciELO), published between 2003 and 2016. Seeking to understand communication and its meanings critically, we held a thematic content analysis, according to Bardin (2002). The review pointed to the lack of sufficient results regarding the desired impacts about the use of technologies in teaching practices with pedagogical focus and authorship by teachers and students. Thus, more studies that can meet the needs still in force are necessary, focusing on methods of utilization of technological resources in the network that enhance students' learning and development. This paper is the result of an experimental study carded out at the Faculty of Education in Granada (Spain). We present meaningful data regarding sexual values embedded in the training of future teachers. We state that these future teachers are aware of the social urgency of a sexual education focused on personal values and aimed for an improvement of the social fabric. After analyzing briefly the questionnaire used for this research, we present a 1200 subjects' assessment concerning sexual education. The subjects are the result of a random sampling of conglomerates out of a 5423 population. Data confirm the need of sexual education training for future education professionals. This training should be centered in the respect for people and should be made up of values such as equality and dignity, sincerity, and equilibrium, invigorated in the freedom of symbolic interchange in the horizon that establishes the union of sex and love.
