International audience; While click and collect (C&C) is a growing omni-channel grocery shopping model spreading out in Europe and in the US, little attention has been paid to the design of convenience measure in this setting is under researched. In particular the role of the digital feature and its impact on consumer response. We explore the impact of C&C on consumer response through the customer's perception, from his digital to his physical trip. This paper studies customers' behaviors toward their usual retailer and their relationship with them toward the theory of services and more precisely the Service dominant logic (S-D-L). Cconsumers response is analyzed through the prism of convenience, especially by transposing usual measures: access, functional, process, relational to the C&C setting and providing a new one: digital convenience. The conceptual model has been tested empirically on a sample of 1078 consumers and responses are analyzed and decomposed by using Path-PLS structural equation modeling. Our evidence also suggests, that in a whole, each feature of convenience positively influence consumer response with different intensity levels. These findings provide specific recommendations for each C&C system. Thus, functional convenience has the strongest contribution of the model and explains 31.4% of customer response. Further segmented approaches of the causal model prove that fulfillment of C&C has a moderating effect on the relationship between convenience and consumer response. Access convenience remains a prerequisite for C&C in a whole, but somewhat surprisingly our results make evidence that it has a negative impact in a drive-in system. We show that digital convenience is clearly discriminant according the type of C&C.

International audience; Retailers need to determine the performance of their individual stores and, beyond the stores, the managers in charge of running them. The aim of this paper is to develop performance standards that can be applied to fairly distribute rewards to managers regarding their performances by taking into account store neighbourhood characteristics. In order to propose a fairer measure of store performance, the authors introduce and explore the concepts of organisational justice and store efficiency. They use real data from a French supermarket chain and a geomarketing approach. The twostep Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model results are compared with a retailer’s ranking. The retailer tends to favour points of sale having a more important sales area, with more employees and operating in a more densely populated area with a higher buying power. The ranking stemming from the DEA model links store performance to other geo-demographic variables.

Faced to this problem, numerous academics researches were proposed and recognized the influence of the distance and thus the time of route in the modelling of the catchment area. Based on an empirical study, this research makes evidence that there is a gap between subjective time and actual driving time.; La détermination de la zone de chalandise représente un enjeu majeur pour les réseaux de distribution. Face à cette problématique, de nombreux travaux ont été proposés et reconnaissent l’influence de la distance, approximée par le temps de trajet, dans la modélisation des zones de chalandise. La définition de la variable temps utilisée dans les modèles théoriques et approches empiriques s’avère lourde de conséquences. À partir d’une étude empirique, cette recherche montre qu’il existe un décalage entre le temps subjectif ressenti par le consommateur et le temps mesuré mis pour se rendre au magasin.

International audience; Stores develop customized assortment based on localization characteristics. In terms of performance analysis, theses changes make more difficult to analyse store performance. This adjustment procedure entails an internal benchmarking which needs small samples to control regional and assortment effects. This paper explores the influence of competitive environment and store neighbourhood characteristics on store efficiency by using three data envelopment analysis models (DEA). This research is illustrated by using real data from a French supermarket retail chain at the product category level. It is showed that the two-steps DEA model is a relevant analysis tool to take into account location aspects. It presents a discriminant power strong enough to derive managerial implications with small samples.
