The digital transformation process includes people, tools, and processes, and it enables the use of digital evaluation, monitoring, and testing systems to automatically document and track the progress of every employee in the business. The need for educated and trained staff with modern knowledge and skills for digitization is dictated by new trends. Those skills are typically acquired through an informal education process, primarily through training. As a systematic and continuous process, in the shorter term, the digitization training improves the skills of the employees for the application of new sophisticated ways and opportunities for better and more efficient performance of the work at a specific workplace. The objective of this paper is to convey the significance and requirement of digitization in human resource management, with a focus on the need to conduct training for businesses in Republic North Macedonia. The paper analyses empirical data from surveys conducted on Macedonian businesses. The findings are sublimated in the concluding observations about the need to implement training for digitization of human resource management processes and their relevance for greater competitiveness of Macedonian businesses on the global market. The intensive technical-technological development and the Covid-19 pandemic have accelerated the digital transformation of communication agencies and corporate communication sectors. Until the outbreak of the pandemic, the professional and academic debate focused on new media and channels provided by digital technologies, for example: social media, the Internet or websites ( Duhé, 2017). In the current phrase digital technologies are extended in the context of models of digital technologies that can modify communication processes with stakeholders (Artur V, Page Society, 2021, Vaner, 2021). Accordingly, digital transformation in times of risky business turbulence in business is a priority focus of research interest because digital transformation produces changes that affect the productivity and economic sustainability of corporations. This paper investigates the relationship between COMTECHNA (digital technologies) and economic entities in Southern European countries, i.e. the degree of investment in digital transformation and the competitiveness of digital communications professionals in Russia. Macedonia and the impact on economic sustainability. Relevant data from 2021 was used for the analysis of the current situation. On the basis of the identified indicators, it was shown that economic entities do not invest enough in digital transformation, which results in a low level of competitiveness of digital communications professionals, and thus decreased productivity and unstable economic sustainability. Digitalization and digital transformation have a major impact on the sustainability and development of the economy and society. Digital technology is a fundamental force for change in this century, reshaping economies, government and civil society. It affects every aspect of the development of society. The need for digitalization became even more evident due to the KOVID-19 pandemic, because it pointed to the urgent need for mechanisms, tools and adapted regulation for a better organization and a fully functioning society. Different techniques are used to measure the level of digitalization: Digital Evolution Index (DEI), Networked Readiness Index (NRI), Digitization Index (DiGiX), Digital Intensity index (DII), Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI), ICT Development Index (IDI), IMD World Competitiveness etc. Each of these indexes has different methodological approaches and contains different dimensions, indicators and sub indicators for measuring the level of digitalization. The main aim of this paper is to see if the digitalization index in Republic of North Macedonia can be measured and for which index. The institution of inheritance is an old, very important institution that has continuous and frequent application in daily practice. It is the only institution that enables the transfer of property rights and obligations from the deceased to other persons. The procedure for reviewing the inherited property is an uncontested procedure and as such it is regulated by the Law on Uncontested Procedure of 2008. Northern Macedonia followed European standards by transferring non-contentious jurisprudence cases from the courts to notaries. The notary as a "trustee" of the court takes action and decides in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Uncontested Procedure and the Law on Inheritance. The notary directs and examines the inherited property only when there is no dispute over the facts or the application of the inheritance right. In the competence of notaries, among others, are the compilation of legal affairs from property inheritance issues such as legal wills, drafting of the contract for permanent maintenance, the contract for division of property, the contract for donation, etc. This study analyzes the role of the notary in the examination of inherited property, identifies the differences between the theory and its application in practice, and highlights the legal gaps that enable non-realization of inheritance law by a certain category of citizens with vulnerable positions, such as married girls of the testator, extramarital minors, etc. This study provides arguments for the introduction of the family register and further electronic digitization as a step towards the approximation of Macedonian inheritance legislation with European legislation. The positive Macedonian legislation does not provide for a public document that summarizes all personal data in one place for parents and for each child (married or illegitimate), which would facilitate the work of the notary, speed up legal circulation and increase legal certainty in property-inheritance legal relations. This paper has a theoretical-empirical approach, using these methods: descriptive-comparative, analysis of positive inheritance legislation, and surveys with notaries operating in the Republic of Northern Macedonia. This study emphasizes the need for legal reforms in the inheritance scheme, as well as giving modest suggestions regarding the measures to be taken in order to improve the legal framework and drafting new policies. Data analytics and predictive analytics are among major trends companies are facing worldwide. In a highly digitalised environment, it is not only to question the usage of data analytics but how analytically mature organisations are. The goal of this paper is to assess organisational maturity in predictive analytics of telecommunications companies in the country. In order to assess the level of organisational maturity in predictive analytics, we use Predictive Analytics Maturity Framework Assessment (PAMFA) (Capgemini, 2012), since it best describes maturity levels in the telecommunications sector. The method of analysis is based on interviewing managers with a questionnaire that guides respondents through all dimensions and levels proposed by the framework. According to the PAMFA five dimensions are analysed (Vision and strategy, Enablers, Competence, Deployment and Governance). For each dimension, four maturity levels are defined: Level 1: Impromptu, Level 2: Solo, Level 3: Ensemble and Level 4: Symphony (Capgemini, 2012). Survey results confirmed that analysed companies fully understand the benefits of predictive analytics as a valuable source of gaining competitive advantage from data. The overall level of predictive analytics maturity is set between levels 2 or 3 for almost all dimensions. This research is the first attempt to analyse organisational maturity in predictive analytics in the country. Its originality derives from the specific characteristics and development of the telecommunications sector. This sector is one of the most advanced service sectors in the country and hence represents a benchmark concerning digital transformation. The building sector nowadays has come to the stage where it needs a "digital" renovation. This is to be accomplished by an introduction of change into the methodology of construction and using new tools and technologies, such as BIM technology. This paper gives an insight into the status of BIM adoption in North Macedonia. It presents the threefold actions toward introduction of BIM in the national construction industry. These actions refer to scanning the current situation regarding digitalization of the sector, then taking promotional actions to express the benefits of BIM, and finally identifying and proposing the most suitable measures, summarized in the proposal of the National Roadmap for BIM adoption. The methods used consist of a brief literature review of the global status of BIM development. Then, the results of a survey conducted on more than 300 respondents representing a sample of building professionals in the country are discussed, and the barriers for successful BIM adoption are accordingly identified. The next step is to showcase the potential benefits of BIM for assessment of energy performance of buildings. As a final point, the conclusions drafted toward identification of the most important challenges are addressed in the proposed National Roadmap for BIM adoption. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Recognizing the need to use digital solutions to advance the green economy of R.N. Macedonian businesses, it is crucial to understand the impact of digital transformation on important business operations. This change is essential for increasing Macedonian businesses' competitiveness and productivity, which will strengthen the nation's economy. To achieve sustainable success, national and local governments must adopt core practices for our society, such as the establishment and promotion of support mechanisms for energy efficiency and digital transformation. By concentrating on companies operating in the designated areas, we may support the trend of intelligent specialization by carrying out localized private sector operations. This plan will also improve North Macedonia's ecosystem by fortifying the institutions' and the Fund for Innovations and Technological Development's (FITD) standing at the local and national levels. It will also present micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises as essential collaborators in the advancement of social, environmental, and economic objectives. Under the country's Integrated National Plan for Energy and Climate, all five parts of the Energy Union--decarbonization, energy efficiency, supply security, internal energy market, and research, innovation, and competitiveness--are comprehensively addressed. Notably, the country is aggressively supporting energy transition techniques and technologies, especially in the energy sector, as seen by its Strategy for Smart Specialization and emphasis on the frequent updating of energy-related curricula at all educational levels. The aim of this paper is to analyze the development of digital technology and its implications on the labor market. The consequences of digital technology can be detected such as changes in structural employment in the specific economic system. The development of new technologies generates new jobs, which are in continuity with progressive changes in the information society. On the other hand it causes unemployment in those industries which become less attractive or they are already adapted to these digital streams where information technologies have already been implemented. In this context, we will apply the Schumpeter's hypothesis of „creative destruction“ as a theoretical concept that explains these patterns. Furthermore we will elaborate the impact of digital technology on the Macedonian economic system as well as the consequences that affect the labor market performance. For this purpose we will use scientific methods of comparative analyses, literature review, internet research, graphic analyses, etc. Finally we will present conclusions and purposes policy, recommendations that will promote more balanced economic development. Today, in the modern way of life, digitalization of the educational system enables the development of logical thinking among students, enrichment of knowledge, improvement of skills, attitudes and values (Ma et al., 2014), on the one hand, but also professional development and motivated teachers (Chen, Wang, Kirschner, and Tsai, 2018) 1, on the other hand. This research, by surveying 88 teachers in primary education in the Republic of North Macedonia in the subject of mathematics, analyzes and presents a concise picture of the effects of using digital tools in the subject of mathematics on the teaching process and learning in mathematics. With a standard-type survey with a Likert scale, the teachers reported on the research variables (factors) the frequency of using digital tools in mathematics teaching, then the type of tools (Dynamic Mathematical Tools - Intelligent Systems and Hypermedia Systems in Mathematics), thepurposeof using digital tool (addition or replacement) and the influence of these three factors on the efficiency of the use of digital toolsin the teaching process (learning) in the subject of mathematics. The results showed that the use of digital tools in mathematics is significantly present among the surveyed teachers and on the other hand they declared that there is a significant improvement in the teaching process (learning) in mathematics when digital tools are used daily and two-three times a week and as an addition of teaching methods but not as a substitute. The impact of digitalization on the labour market is very complex and is manifested in different conditions for job creation and job protection, changed needs for occupations and skills, coping with skills mismatch and labour shortage etc. The aim of the research is to determine the possible implications of digitalization on the labour market in North Macedonia, by analyzing relevant labour market indicators and the results of employees' survey based on identified hypotheses. The analysis of the labour market indicators shows that despite the positive changes, the situation on the Macedonian labour market remains unfavorable i.e. low employment rates, growing skills mismatch and labour shortages in conditions of still high unemployment. The survey results indicate that the digitalization may not cause serious job losses, but it can lead to significant shifts in the employment structure (regarding sectors, occupations, skills, nature of jobs, pressure on the lower skill levels etc.). The influence of digitalization on the labour demand will depend on the employment sector and job profile, as well as on the investments in technology and relevant experience to use it. Also, digitalization could reduce the labour shortages caused by demographic ageing. The survey results show that digitalization will impose changes in the education and professional expertise, management style and organizational culture, as well as in trade union organizations. The findings of this research are meaningful for policy makers, state institutions, employers, trade unions and other stakeholders.
