Abstract

Levels of seric arginase were determined on healthy clinically subjects and patients with systemic lupus erithematosus (SLE). The results obtained were of 5 to 17 U/L in healthy people and 0 to 8 U/L in patients with SLE; 74% of patients with SLE had low values of arginase. With the results obtained we think that determination of seric arginase levels can be support to integral diagnostic of the disease. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
