The epistemology that delimits knowledge justified as truth makes part of the discourses that strengthen the idea of the human as center. In this perspective, everything revolves around the instituted, normalized, as well as universalized. However, such outcome, that well explains Descartes as a product of the experience of the self, nature, and history, finds another meaning from the Lacanian subject: that of the subject as determined from a de(sire)centered, that is, by the desire that does not point to homogenization or alienation, but to the experience of a void established in the relationship with the lack.
