The article presents a study which investigates pseudo-merohedrally twinned manganite microcrystals using coherent X-ray diffraction. It says that interference in a form of a speckle pattern is induced when the microcrystals are illuminated coherently due to the different crystallographic phases of the structure. It adds that the speckles origin suggests that the visibility is proportional to the phase shift between domains which maybe used in measuring the domains mismatch strain on crystals.
