The title compound, C22H15N3O2, can be described as a ketone with a phenol substituent and a terpyridine ligand coordinated to the carbonyl group. The three six-membered rings of the terpyridine ligand are not coplanar. The dihedral angles between the mean planes of the central ring and the external pyridine ligands are 22.77 (9) and 26.77 (7)°. The central ring of the terpyridine ligand is also not coplanar with the o-hydroxy phenyl ring, the dihedral angle being 39.72 (5)°. An intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond occurs. The crystal structure of the title compound is consolidated by C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonding interactions.

In the title compound, C31H26Cl2N2O, the 4,6-dichlorophenol and the imidazole rings are almost coplanar, with a dihedral angle of 8.89 (6)° between them and an intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen bond occurs between the rings. The dihedral angles subtended by the tert-butylphenyl ring and the two phenyl rings with the imidazole ring are 85.18 (9), 81.22 (9) and 19.00 (8)°, respectively. The methyl groups of the tert-butyl grouping are disordered over two sets of sites in 0.589 (5):0.411 (5) ratio. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of weak C—H...Cl interactions generate R22(24) loops.

In the title compound, C16H19N3O2Si, the dihedral angle between the coumarin ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.031 Å) and the triazole ring is 73.81 (8)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked into [010] chains by weak C—H...O interactions.

In the title compound, C10H13N5, the piperidine ring adopts a chair conformation with the exocyclic N—C bond in an axial orientation, and the dihedral angle between the mean planes of piperidine and pyrimidine rings is 49.57 (11)°. A short intramolecular C—H...N contact generates an S(7) ring. In the crystal, N—H...N hydrogen bonds link the molecules into (100) sheets and a weak aromatic π-π stacking interaction is observed [centroid–centroid separation = 3.5559 (11) Å] between inversion-related pyrimidine rings.

In the title compound, C29H23ClN2O, the 5-chlorophenol ring and the imidazole ring are nearly coplanar, with a dihedral angle of 15.76 (9)° between them. The ethylphenyl ring and the two phenyl rings subtend angles of 71.09 (7), 43.95 (5) and 36.53 (9)°, respectively, with the imidazole plane. An intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen bond supports the molecular conformation, and an intermolecular C—H...O interaction, originating from an ortho-phenyl H atom, stabilizes the packing arrangement. In addition, a weak C—H...π interaction, also involving an ortho-phenyl H atom, is observed.

In the title compound, C31H24Br2Cl2N2O, the dihedral angles subtended by the tert-butyl-phenyl, 4,6-dichlorophenol and 4-bromophenyl (×2) rings are 70.7 (3), 8.1 (3), 28.1 (3) and 84.2 (3)°, respectively. The orientations of the pendant rings may be related to intramolecular O—H...N and C—H...π interactions. One of the tert-butyl methyl groups is disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.54 (3):0.46 (3) ratio. In the crystal, a weak C—H...π interaction generates inversion dimers.

In the title compound, C14H14ClFN2O2S, the dihydropyrimidine ring adopts a shallow-boat conformation and subtends a dihedral angle of 81.91 (17)° with the phenyl ring. In the crystal, N—H...O, N—H...S and C—H...F hydrogen bonds and C—H...π interactions are found.

The magnetic dipole effect for thixotropic nanofluid with heat and mass transfer, as well as microorganism concentration past a curved stretching surface, is discussed. The flow is in a porous medium, which describes the Darcy–Forchheimer model. Through similarity transformations, the governing equations of the problem are transformed into non-linear ordinary differential equations, which are then processed using an efficient and powerful method known as the homotopy analysis method. All the embedded parameters are considered when analyzing the problem through solution. The dipole and porosity effects reduce the velocity, while the thixotropic nanofluid parameter increases the velocity. Through the dipole and radiation effects, the temperature is enhanced. The nanoparticles concentration increases as the Biot number and curvature, solutal, chemical reaction parameters increase, while it decreases with increasing Schmidt number. The microorganism motile density decreases as the Peclet and Lewis numbers increase. Streamlines demonstrate that the trapping on the curved stretched surface is uniform.

To achieve considerably high thermal conductivity, hybrid nanofluids are some of the best alternatives that can be considered as renewable energy resources and as replacements for the traditional ways of heat transfer through fluids. The subject of the present work is to probe the heat and mass transfer flow of an ethylene glycol based hybrid nanofluid (Au-ZnO/C2H6O2) in three dimensions with homogeneous-heterogeneous chemical reactions and the nanoparticle shape factor. The applications of appropriate similarity transformations are done to make the corresponding non-dimensional equations, which are used in the analytic computation through the homotopy analysis method (HAM). Graphical representations are shown for the behaviors of the parameters and profiles. The hybrid nanofluid (Au-ZnO/C2H6O2) has a great influence on the flow, temperature, and cubic autocatalysis chemical reactions. The axial velocity and the heat transfer increase and the concentration of the cubic autocatalytic chemical reactions decreases with increasing stretching parameters. The tangential velocity and the concentration of cubic autocatalytic chemical reactions decrease and the heat transfer increases with increasing Reynolds number. A close agreement of the present work with the published study is achieved.

The title compound, C16H20N2O2S, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit, one of which shows positional disorder of the ethyl side chain over two orientations in a 0.555 (7):0.445 (7) ratio. The hydropyrimidine ring adopts a shallow boat conformation and the 2,5-dimethylphenyl ring is positioned axially. The crystal structure features N—H...S, N—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds, which link the molecules into (10-1) sheets.

In the title compound, C23H25NO4, the 1,4-dihydropyridine ring adopts a flattened boat conformation. The naphthalene ring system forms a dihedral angle of 88.59 (6)° with the pyridine ring. In the crystal, N—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds generate an R12(6) ring motif and result in a zigzag chain along the b axis. Additional C—H...O hydrogen bonds form infinite chains along the c-axis direction.

In the title compound, C16H23N3O3S, the dihedral angles between the thiophene ring and the almost planar dimethylamino-methyleneamino (r.m.s. deviation = 0.005 Å) and dimethylamino-acryloyl (r.m.s. deviation = 0.033 Å) substituents are 6.99 (8) and 6.69 (7)°, respectively. The ester CO2 group subtends a dihedral angle of 44.92 (18)° with the thiophene ring. An intramolecular C—H...O hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of C—H...O hydrogen bonds generate R22(14) loops. In addition, a weak C—H...π interaction is observed.

In the title compound, C13H13FN2O2S, the pyrimidine ring adopts a twist-boat conformation with the MeCN and methine-C atoms displaced by 0.0938 (6) and 0.2739 (3) Å, respectively, from the mean plane through the other four atoms of the ring. The 2-fluorobenzene ring is positioned axially and forms a dihedral angle of 89.13 (4)° with the mean plane through the pyrimidine ring. The crystal structure features N—H...O, N—H...S and C—H...O hydrogen bonds that link molecules into supramolecular chains along the b axis. These chains are linked into a layer parallel to (10-1) by C—H...π interactions; layers stack with no specific interactions between them.

In the title thiophene derivative, C13H18N2O3S, the dihedral angles between the thiophene ring and the [(dimethylamino)methylidene]amino side chain (r.m.s. deviation = 0.009 Å) and the –CO2 ester group are 3.01 (16) and 59.9 (3)°, respectively. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of C—H...O hydrogen bonds generate R22(16) loops. The dimers are linked by another weak C—H...O interaction, forming chains along [001]. In addition, weak C—H...π interactions are observed, which link the chains into (001) layers.

The title molecular salt, C21H25N2O5S+·Cl−, crystallizes with two ion pairs in the asymmetric unit. The cations have similar conformations (r.m.s. overlay fit = 0.40 Å), with one of them showing disorder of the terminal methyl group of the ester in a 0.72 (2):0.28 (2) ratio. In the first cation, the 3,4-dimethoxy-substituted phenyl ring subtends a dihedral angle of 88.38 (7)° with the pyrimidine ring and 6.79 (8)° with the thiazole ring. The equivalent data for the second cation are 89.97 (3) and 6.42 (7)°, respectively. The pyrimidine ring adopts a sofa conformation in each cation. In the crystal, the components are linked by N—H...Cl hydrogen bonds, generating isolated ion pairs. The ion pairs are are linked by C—H...O interactions, generating a three-dimensional network. In addition, a weak C—H...π interaction is observed.

The title compound, C14H15FN2O2S, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. In each molecule, the pyrimidine ring adopts a sofa conformation with the sp3-hybridized C atom forming the flap and the fluoro-substituted ring in an axial position. In the crystal, molecules are linked via N—H...S hydrogen bonds, forming chains of R22(8) rings along [100]. In one independent molecule, an intramolecular C—H...O hydrogen bond is observed.

In the title compound, C17H18N2O3S2, the pyrimidine ring adopts a shallow sofa conformation, with the C atom bearing the axially-oriented thiophene ring as the flap [deviation = 0.439 (3) Å]. The plane of the thiophene ring lies almost normal to the pyrimidine ring, making a dihedral angle of 79.36 (19)°. In the crystal, pairs of very weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules related by twofold rotation axes, forming R22(18) rings, which are in turn linked by another C—H...O interaction, forming chains of rings along [010]. In the title compound, C13H8ClFN2, the dihedral angle between the plane of the benzimidazole ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.022 Å) and the benzene ring is 26.90 (8)°. The F atom at the meta position of the benzene ring is disordered over two sites in a 0.843 (4):0.157 (4) ratio. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming infinite C(4) chains propagating along [010]. In addition, weak C—H...π and π–π interactions [shortest centroid–centroid separation = 3.6838 (12) Å] are observed, which link the chains into a three-dimensional network.

In the title compound, C14H14F4N2O3S, the central dihydropyrimidine ring adopts a sofa conformation with the C atom bearing the 2-fluorobenzene ring displaced by 0.596 (3) Å from the other five atoms. The 2-fluorobenzene ring is positioned axially and bisects the pyrimidine ring with a dihedral angle of 70.92 (8)°. The molecular conformation is stabilized by an intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond, generating an S(6) ring. In the title compound, C22H24N4O4S, the central pyrimidine ring adopts a sofa conformation with the ring-junction N atom displaced by 0.2358 (6) Å from the mean plane of the remaining ring atoms. The 3-methoxyphenyl ring, at the chiral C atom opposite the other N atom, is positioned axially and is inclined to the thiazolopyrimidine ring with a dihedral angle of 83.88 (7)°. The thiazole ring is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0034 Å). In the title molecule, C13H13N3O2, the benzopyran ring system is essentially planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.017 (1) Å. In the crystal, weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds link molecules into ladders along [010]. In addition, π–π interactions between inversion-related molecules, with centroid–centroid distances in the range 3.679 (2)–3.876 (2) Å, complete a two-dimensional network parallel to (001).

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C15H21N3OSi, contains two molecules with similar conformations (r.m.s. overlay fit for the 20 non-H atoms = 0.163 Å). The dihedral angles between the planes of the 1,2,3-triazole and 2,4-dimethylbenzene rings are 27.0 (3) and 19.5 (3)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by very weak C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonds to generate [100] chains. The chains are cross-linked by C—H...π interactions.

In the title molecule, C23H18F2N2O3S, the 4-fluoro-substituted and 2-fluoro-substituted benzene rings form dihedral angles of 88.16 (8) and 23.1 (1)°, respectively, with the thiazole ring. The pyrimidine ring adopts a flattened sofa conformation with the sp3-hydridized C atom forming the flap. In the crystal, pairs of weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds link molecules related by twofold rotation axes, forming R22(10) rings, which are in turn linked by weak C—H...N interactions to form chains of rings along [010]. In addition, weak C—H...π(arene) interactions link the chains into layers parallel to (001) and π–π interactions with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.836 (10) Å connect these layers into a three-dimensional network.

In the title molecule, C20H22N2O4S, the pyrimidine ring is in a flattened half-chair conformation and the 3-methoxyphenyl substituent is in an axial arrangement. The thiazole ring forms a dihedral angle of 81.3 (1)° with the benzene ring. In the crystal, weak C—H...S interactions link molecules into chains along [001]. In addition, there are π–π interactions between inversion-related thiazole rings with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.529 (2) Å. The ethyl group was refined as disordered over two sets of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.52 (3):0.48 (2).

In the title molecule, C23H18F2N2O3S, the pyrimidine ring is in a half-chair conformation and the 3-fluorophenyl group is in the axial position. The thiazole ring (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0252 Å) forms dihedral angles of 84.8 (7) and 9.6 (7)° with the 3-fluoro-substituted and 4-fluoro-substituted benzene rings, respectively. In the crystal, weak C—H...F and C—H...O hydrogen bonds connect molecules, forming zigzag chains along the b axis. In the title compound, C14H9F3N2, the mean planes of the benzimidazole ring system and the trifluoromethyl-substituted benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 30.1 (1)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H...N hydrogen bonds into chains along [010]. Weak C—H...F hydrogen bonds and a weak C—H...π interaction connect the chains into a two-dimensional network parallel to (001).

In the title molecule, C13H14N2O3S, the dihydropyrimidine ring is in a flattened sofa conformation, with the methine C atom forming the flap. The dihedral angle between the mean plane of the five essentially planar atoms of the dihydropyrimidine ring [maximum deviation = 0.056 (4) Å] and the benzene ring is 89.4 (2)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming chains along [010]. In addition, weak C—H...F hydrogen bonds connect chains into a two-dimensional network parallel to (001). A weak C—H...π interaction is observed between an H atom of the benzimidazole ring sytem and the π system of the difluoro-substituted benzene ring.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C12H12ClNOS, contains three independent molecules, with the thiochroman ring adopting a sofa conformation in each one. The crystal structure features C—H...O interactions; one of the O atoms accepts three such bonds. Together, the hydrogen bonds give rise to a molecular tape propagating in [010].

In the title molecule, C24H19BrN2O5S, the pyrimidine ring is in a flattened half-chair conformation and the 4-acetoxyphenyl group is substituted axially to this ring. The thiazole ring is essentially planar [with a maximum deviation of 0.012 (2) Å for the N atom] and forms dihedral angles of 17.65 (13) and 88.95 (11)° with the bromo- and acetoxy-substituted benzene rings, respectively. The dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 81.84 (13) Å. In the crystal, pairs of weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds lead to the formation of inversion dimers. A weak C—H...π interaction and π–π stacking interactions with centroid–centroid distances of 3.5903 (14) Å are observed.

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C14H15BrO2, weak C—H...O interactions link the molecules into zigzag chains extending along the c-axis direction. These chains are further assembled into (100) layers via π–π stacking interactions between inversion-related chromenone fragments [interplanar distance = 3.376 (2) Å].

In the title compound, C14H9F3N2O, the best planes of the benzimidazole group and benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 26.68 (3)°. In the crystal, N—H...N hydrogen bonds link the molecules into infinite chains parallel to the c axis. Stacking interactions between the benzimidazole groups [centroid–centroid distance = 3.594 (5) Å] assemble the molecules into layers parallel to (100). The trifluoromethyl group is disordered over three sets of sites with site-occupancy factors of 0.787 (4), 0.107 (7) and 0.106 (7).

In the title compound, C10H12N2S, the thiophene ring is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0290 Å). The two C atoms of the cyclohexene ring (at positions 6 and 7) are disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.810 (5):0.190 (5) ratio. The cyclohexene rings in both the major and minor occupancy conformers adopt a half-chair conformation. In the crystal, there are two types of N—H...N interaction. One of these results in centrosymmetric head-to-head dimers corresponding to an R22(12) graph-set motif and the other forms a 20-membered macrocyclic ring involving six molecules.

In the title compound, C20H22N2O4S, the central pyrimidine ring incorporating a chiral C atom is significantly puckered and adopts a slight boat conformation with C atom bearing the phenyl ring and the N atom opposite displaced by 0.367 (2) and 0.107 (2) Å, respectively, from the plane formed by the remaining ring atoms. The benzene ring is positioned axially to the pyrimidine ring, making a dihedral angle of 88.99 (5)°. The thiazole ring is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0033 Å). In the crystal, pairs of C—H...O interactions result in centrosymmetric dimers with graph-set motifs R12(7) and R22(8). A weak C—H...π contact is also observed.

In the title compound, C12H16N4S, the fused benzothiophene and the pyrimidine rings are coplanar [dihedral angle = 1.61 (6)°]. Three C atoms of the cyclohexene ring (at positions 3, 6 and 7) are disordered over two sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.702 (8):0.298 (8). The cyclohexene ring in both the major and minor components adopts a half-chair conformation. The crystal structure is stabilized by N—H...N and C—H...N interactions, resulting in the formation of inversion dimers with R22(10) and R22(12) graph-set motifs.

In the title compound, C7H7ClN4O, the pyrazolopyrimidine ring is essentially planar, the r.m.s. deviation of the fitted atoms being 0.0071 Å. The crystal structure features strong N—H...O hydrogen bonds and further consolidated by weak C—H...O, C—H...N and C—H...Cl interactions.

In the title compound, C17H20N2O4S, the aryl ring is positioned perpendicular to the dihydropyrimidine ring, the dihedral angle between the ring planes being 77.48 (9)°. The carboxylate and methyl groups are in a cis conformation with respect to the C=C bond. The dihydropyrimidine ring adopts a twist-boat conformation. The crystal structure is stabilized by N—H...O and C—H...O interactions, the former resulting in molecular chains along the b axis and the latter forming inversion dimers.

In the title compound, C22H17BrN2O4S, the central dihydropyrimidine ring, with a chiral C atom, is significantly puckered and adopts a half-chair conformation with the chiral C atom displaced from the mean plane of the remaining ring atoms by 0.305 (6) Å. The hydroxy-phenyl ring is positioned axially to the pyrimidine ring and almost bisects it, the dihedral angle between the mean-planes of the two rings being 89.78 (12)°. The methoxycarbonyl group is disordered over two sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.568 (5):0.432 (5), resulting in a major and a minor conformer. In the crystal, O—H...N and C—H...S interactions result in sheets along the c axis. The supramolecular assembly is stabilized by π–π stacking interactions between the 2-bromobenzylidene and thiazolopyrimidine rings [centroid–centroid distance = 3.632 (1) Å]. In addition, C—H...π interactions are also observed in the crystal structure.

In the title compound, C24H22N2O6S, a pyrimidine ring substituted with 4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl is fused with a thiazole ring. The 4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl group is positioned axially to the pyrimidine ring, making a dihedral angle 85.36 (7)°. The pyrimidine ring adopts a twist boat conformation. In the crystal, O—H...N interactions result in a chain running along the b axis. The carbonyl O atom bonded to the thiazole ring is involved in two C—H...O hydrogen-bond interactions forming centrosymmetric dimers; the ten- and six-membered rings resulting from these interactions have R22(10) and R12(6) motifs, respectively.

In the title compound, C11H13N3S, two of the C atoms of the cyclohexene ring and the methyl group attached to it are disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.544 (2):0.456 (2) ratio. The benzothiene and pyrimidine rings are almost coplanar with an angular tilt of 2.371 (9)° between them. The thiophene ring is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation 0.05 Å), while the cyclohexene ring in both the major- and minor-occupancy conformers adopts a half-chair conformation. In the crystal structure, pairs of intermolecular N—H...N hydrogen bonds involving the amino groups result in centrosymmetric head-to-head dimers about inversion centres, corresponding to an R22(8) graph-set motif. Further, N—H...N hydrogen bonding generates a two-dimensional hydrogen-bonded network perpendicular to the ac plane and running along the diagonal of the ac plane.

In the anion of the title compound, (C14H13N2S)2[CdBr4]·C2H5OH, the CdII atom is in a distorted tetrahedral environment and one of the Br atoms is disordered over three sites with site-occupancy factors of 0.828 (5), 0.106 (3) and 0.068 (4). In the crystal, intermolecular N—H...O, C—H...O and N—H...Br interactions result in a two-dimensional polymeric network extending parallel to (010).

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C14H13N2S)2[CuBr4]·2H2O, contains two cations, one anion and two solvent water molecules that are connected via O—H...Br, N—H...Br and N—H...O hydrogen bonds into a two-dimensional polymeric structure. The cations are arranged in a head-to-tail fashion and form stacks along [100]. The central CuII atom of the anion is in a distorted tetrahedral environment.

In the title compound, C17H14N4S, the benzothieno moiety is fused at one end of the pyramidine ring while the triazole ring with a phenyl substituent is fused at the other side. The triazole ring is almost planar [maximum deviation = 0.0028 (3) Å] while the cyclohexane ring adopts a half-chair conformation. In the crystal, pairs of intermolecular C—H...N hydrogen bonds form centrosymmetric head-to-head dimers, corresponding to an R22(8) graph-set motif. Further C—H...N interactions generate a zigzag chain of molecules along the c axis. In the title compound, C17H11BrFN3S, the imidazothiadiazole and bromophenyl rings are individually almost planar, with maximum deviations of 0.0215 (4) and 0.0044 (4) Å, respectively, and are inclined at an angle of 27.34 (3)° with respect to each other. The dihedral angle between the mean planes of the fluorobenzyl and imidazothiadiazole rings is 79.54 (3)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular C—H...N interactions resulting in chains of molecules along the b axis.

In the cation of the title compound, C14H13N2S+·Br−, the essentially planar benzimidazole system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0082 Å) is substituted with a 4-methylsulfanylphenyl ring. The dihedral angle between the benzimidazole system and the 4-methylsulfanylphenyl ring is 2.133 (2)°. The crystal structure is characterized by strong and highly directional intermolecular N—H...Br hydrogen bonds involving the bromide ion. Moreover, C—H...S interactions result in chains of molecules along the c axis. The supramolecular assembly is further stabilized by π–π stacking interactions between the benzimidazole system and 4-methylsulfanylphenyl rings [centroid–centroid distance = 3.477 (4) Å].

The planes of the imidazothiadiazole and bromophenyl rings are inclined at an angle of 27.34 (3)°. In the crystal, intermolecular C—H...N interactions result in chains of molecules along the b and c axes. Moreover, C—H...O interactions result in centrosymmetric head-to-head dimers with R22(24) graph-set motifs. The molecular packing is further stabilized by π–π stacking interactions between the imidazole rings with a shortest centroid–centroid distance of 3.492 (3) Å. In addition, C—H...π interactions are observed in the crystal structure.

In the title compound, C9H8N2OS, the benzothiophene ring is substituted with amino, oxo and carbonitrile groups. The thiophene ring is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0003 Å), while the cyclohexene ring is in a half-chair conformation. In the crystal, N—H...O hydrogen bonds generate chains of molecules in a zigzag pattern along the b axis. Pairs of N—H...N hydrogen bonds form centrosymmetric head-to-head dimers about inversion centres, corresponding to an R22(12) graph-set motif. In addition, rather weak N—H...S interactions are also present in the structure and the supramolecular assembly is further consolidated by π–π stacking interactions between the benzothiophene rings, disposed at a distance of 3.742 (3) Å.
