Electroluminescent (EL) quantum dot light‐emitting diode (QLED) array for pixel‐on‐demand display containing 75 emitting zones (5 × 15) is demonstrated by a single larger‐area QD EL film (5 cm × 5 cm). To fabricate a passive‐matrix (PM) QLED display, the 5 × 15 QLED emitting array without any pre‐patterned bank is directly defined by the overlapping area of crossing ITO and Al finger electrodes. As‐prepared emitting array has obvious electrical crosstalk, making the on‐demand pixels emit together with some neighbors undriven, which is ascribed to a carrier leakage to the neighbor pixels. By applying the common electrode voltage to the unselected rows, the undesired electrical crosstalk has been thoroughly suppressed. This study first demonstrated that a PM‐QLED display can be feasibly realized by a bank‐free quantum dot film prepared from a coating process without any pixel defining layer or complex driving condition.
