The authors reflect on the cause of granulomatous dermatitis complications which is the blepharopigmentation, that is described as a cosmetic technique to create a permanent eyeliner or tattooing. They state that the common complication in tattooing is the improperly located pigment due to misapplication of pigments dots. They emphasize that cutaneous reactions to black pigments employed in permanent tattoos are seldom reported in dermatological literature.
