The article summarizes the legislation on intellectual property in the year 2021, highlighting the reforms in China, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, as well as the transposition of directives in the countries of the European Union. It mentions the lack of diligence in drafting the rules and the accumulation of delays in transposition, which generates harm to the exercise of citizens' rights. The importance of complying with transposition deadlines to avoid sanctions and lawsuits is emphasized. Additionally, it mentions the increase in the consumption of digital content in Spain and the need to adapt to digital evolution to strengthen the Spanish cultural and creative industries. Provisions related to the authorization and transmission of intellectual property rights are also presented, as well as modifications to copyright legislation in Spain. Finally, the European Union directives related to copyright and other topics are mentioned. In the United Kingdom, amendments to copyright and related rights legislation are presented, adapting it to changes in national and international legislation. [Extracted from the article]
