This article discusses a case of Pediatric Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome (THS) in an 8-year-old girl. The patient presented with left ptosis, diplopia, and transient periorbital headache. MRI revealed an abnormal contrast effect within the left cavernous sinus. The patient was diagnosed with THS based on the International Classification of Headache Disorders criteria. Methylprednisolone therapy resulted in rapid improvement, and there was no disease recurrence for over 3 years. THS is a rare condition characterized by painful ophthalmoplegia caused by granulomatous inflammatory lesions of the cavernous sinus. Immediate contrast-enhanced MRI should be considered in cases of unilateral periorbital headache. [Extracted from the article]
