The objective of this study is to present consumer behavior to meat, venison and poultry offered on the market. In the survey there were used direct interviews using questionnaire containing closed and open questions about meat selection criteria, meat quality attributes and purchasing and consumption habits. The research has indicated that consumers include the meat to their diet most often 2-3 times a week, due to taste, habits and nutritional value. For many consumers brand/manufacturer of meat is the major determinant of its high quality an safety. From the analysis of the obtained data, it can be concluded that the poultry meat was selected by vast majority of consumers in purchasing decisions, and the age and place of residence did not affect the selection of different meat.
