The aim of the bachelor 's thesis was to find out how social counseling is provided in the context of health and social care in medical facilities. The theoretical part of the thesis introduced the basic characteristics of social counseling. In the practical part, research questions were set. To achieve the set goal of the bachelor's thesis, a qualitative research strategy was chosen using the method of questioning and the technique of semi-structured interview. The research group consisted of health and social workers who worked in hospitals in the South Bohemian Region at the time of the research. The semi-structured interviews were recorded in audio form with the consent of the informants and subsequently transcribed. Data analysis was performed by open coding method. The bachelor thesis deals with individual aspects of providing social counseling and introduces the actual state of implementation of social counseling in hospitals from the perspective of health and social workers. The research showed that health and social workers in hospitals provide social counseling mainly to hospitalized clients and their family members, whom they help to solve the current social situation. Social counseling is mainly focused on providing post-hospitalization care. It usually takes place at the patient's bedside or in the office of the health and social workers. The research revealed problems with insufficiently secured privacy in the provision of social counseling to bedridden people, the need to educate the public in the field of social services and also draws attention to the appropriateness of increasing the safety of health and social workers. It will be possible to use the bachelor's thesis as a source of information on the method of providing social counseling in health care facilities in the South Bohemian Region. It will also serve as feedback for individual medical facilities in which the research was conducted.

„Dying belongs to everybody. It´s not a medical thing, it`s a human thing. Based on the assumption that caregivers in the care of people in a palliative situation are in a recurring exchange with nursing, medical, ethical, social and cultural counseling content, the potential of professional nursing counseling in the field of action palliative care in the inpatient setting will be considered. In order to cope with the growing number of aging persons and the complex palliative care in the inpatient setting, resources are needed that enable the caregivers to cope with the increased need for care. In order to meet these challenges of palliative care, a palliative care consultation was implemented in the home hospital of the author of this thesis in an inpatient setting for palliative care patients and accompanying experts. Due to the research interest, six experts are interviewed in the course of an empirical research about the optimized use of the potential of a professional nursing consultation in the field of palliative care. vorgelegt von: Regina Maria Schönböck Masterarbeit Wien, FH Campus Wien 2021

Management Consultant Firms ,Maturity Model and Process Improvements ,Digitalization ,Consulting Process ,Business Administration ,Företagsekonomi - Abstract
Background: Digitalization and digital technologies are of significance to management consultant firms since they influence them and force them to reshape and improve their business processes. For that purpose, firms can use Business Process Improvements methods, such as process mapping, benchmarking and maturity models. The authors identified multiple gaps in literature which this thesis aims to address. One gap was the lack of literature focusing on the industry of professional service firms, like management consultant firms. Another gap was on a standardized management consulting process, and the knowledge of how digital technologies are being used within it. There was also a lack of knowledge about what performance improvements management consulting firms can expect when using digital technologies in their management consulting process. Lastly, there is no digital maturity model that is focused towards management consultant firms, that can identify management consultant firms' level of digital maturity. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore, describe and explain digital technologies used within a standardized management consulting process, expected performance improvements through the use of digital technologies and the levels of digital maturity through a maturity model for management consultant firms. Method: A qualitative study with an exploratory and explanatory research strategy was used. An abductive approach was applied for this multiple case study, which was based on semi-structured interviews with nine different Case Firms. Findings and Conclusion: The results of the study developed a standardized management consulting process including following activities; initial contact, background research, current status assessment, present project plan, developing solution, closing project by implementing solution and follow up, feedback and lessons learned. Across the standardized consulting process, the firms used technology types of artificial intelligence, analytical applications, cloud computing, automation and web-based applications. The digital technologies are used for collecting information, collaborative presentations, communicating, collaborating to develop consulting solutions, storing and managing documents, managing projects, tracking time, analysing information, developing and sharing insights, and customer relationship management. Seven key categories of performance were identified, which could be improved through the use of digital technologies. The categories include improved knowledge transfer, increased efficiency, measurable value based impact to client, increased quality of consulting, increased competitive advantage, improved knowledge management, increased client reaction and satisfaction. Each of these categories of performance improvements can be further categorized into improvements of efficiency and effectiveness for the consulting process. Improvements in efficiency relate to improvements in the utilization of resources. Improvements in effectiveness relate to improvements in quality of the resulting client solution. The study defined four levels of digital maturity for management consultant firms, including researchers, beginners, adopters and leaders. The key dimensions for assessing their digital maturity include culture, strategy, organization and operations, technology and insights. Across the dimensions there are 15 sub-dimensions and 52 statements for self-assessing digital maturity. The maturity model may be applied by future management consultant firms for benchmarking position within the industry and identifying gaps, opportunities and vision for improvement in their own consulting process and performance through leveraging digital technologies.

Atliekant tyrimą nustatytas taikomų žemės ūkio konsultavimo metodų tinkamumas Marijampolės apskrityje. Naudoti indukcijos ir dedukcijos, mokslinės literatūros analizės ir sintezės, anketinės apklausos, palyginimo, grafinio vaizdavimo ir duomenų sugretinimo metodai. Kaip mažiausiai tinkami žemės ūkio konsultavimo metodai yra paskaita, laiškai, knygos, lankstinukai, užduočių demonstravimas, instruktavimas, o labiausiai tinkami – radijo laidos, grupinis darbas, vizitai į ūkius, straipsniai spaudoje, abipusė diskusija, grupinė diskusija. Konsultantų nuomone ūkininkų konsultavimas yra specifinė veikla, kuri Marijampolės apskrityje pasižymi 4 pagrindiniais bruožais: ūkininkų konservatyvumas; reikalingi skubūs atsakymai į staiga pateiktus klausimus; konsultacijų sezoniškumas; dažnai sprendžiamos praktinės problemos, kurioms sunku surasti atsakymus teorijoje. Sudaryta žemės ūkio konsultavimo metodų tinkamumo vertinimo metodika galėtų būti lengvai pritaikoma kiekvieno konsultanto darbe atliekant klientų apklausą ir analizuojant konsultavimo procesą. Žemės ūkio konsultavimo metodo taikymo tinkamumo lygis, leidžia įvertinti konsultavimo metodus kiekybiškai ir palyginti tarpusavyje. Analizė sudaro galimybes tobulinti konsultavimo procesą ir konsultantų programas. Agricultural consulting method is a reliable way of giving information of a qualified person to a farmer, seeking to distinguish a problem and recommend the alternatives to solve it. The empiric research model has been chosen to investigate the approval of using the agricultural consulting methods in Marijampolė region. Two questionnaires for the consultants and the farmers with simpler questions have been chosen. The aim of the empiric method was to find out which methods were the most suitable for the respondents, what was the opinion of the farmers about these methods and to know if the consultants pay attention to the farmer’s needs. The paper upon analyzing agriculture consultation methods applied in Marijampolė region according to the prepared methodology relevance of agriculture consultation methods has been calculated. Recommendations for improvement of agriculture consultation method have been presented for the methods at the lowest relevance level. International audience; To date there is still a need of knowledge and literature on CEO's socialization process. Indeed more research works focus on socialization, as well as the employee integration phase in the company (Perot, Lacaze...) or the corporate buyer (Deschamps, Siegel, Boussaguet...). Similarly, the consultants are very active in accompanying buyers or entrepreneurs, but few on the CEOs incoming. Thus, we find a lot of work on organizational socialization, but few are focused on CEOs, although their role, function and integration are complex and specific. This paper is aimed at analyzing the organizational socialization process of CEO and to propose a model of organizational socialization of the leader (OSL). Our aim is thus to help consultants better anticipate and support the new CEO through better understanding this phenomenon because, as pointed out by Prax (2005) "one can't replace someone overnight". An overview of extant literature allows a better understanding of the socialization concept and the organizational socialization theory and in particular the resulting concept of organizational socialization of the employee (OSE) (Section 1). A second review highlights various definitions and typologies connected with the leader's position (Section 2). Our proposed model of organizational socialization and engineering of the leader strategic integration (OSL) as well as the methodology used to test the variables of this model will be presented in section 3.

- Abstract
This paper aims to contribute to an understanding of what actually takes place during consulting engagements. It draws on data collected from a qualitative case study of eight engagements by a niche consultancy in Australia to describe how consultants actively engage boundary crossing processes to address knowledge boundaries encountered during formal interactions with clients. While consultants applied techniques such as evoking an 'ideal state' for clients, the engagements also showed many missed opportunities for transformation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
