Background: Drowning is one of the leading causes of death from unwanted injuries in the world. The highest death rate from drowning is among children. Pools are one of these places that have significant problems in current systems due to technical and methodological aspects. Using an automated visual monitoring system can help reduce drowning. The main objective of the project is to minimize the death of children from drowning. Method: This research was performed using applied research and content analysis methods and through up-to-date international studies. In this study, cameras were installed around swimming pools. A threshold surface is defined for the depth of water. Images of children are taken every time they enter the pool and stored in databases. If a child reaches below the depth of the threshold, the child is identified and a warning message is sent to the rescuer. The name of the drowned child will be announced and action can be taken to save the child. Result: The presented algorithm can detect drowning conditions along with the exact position of the person drowning in the pool and provide the result in the best possible time, which is relatively low compared to the rescue time required for the drowning rescue operation. Conclusion: In order to solve the problem of insufficient monitoring, the child drowning prevention system was examined. Implementing the algorithm under study makes rapid decision-making possible. The proposed system has shown that it can be implemented in domestic swimming pools and public pools to prevent unintentional drowning deaths. One of the problems of wound specialists is that they may not have enough time to assess the length and width of the wound. This problem is aggravated when they have to visit the wounds virtually. This paper presents a novel AI-based method for evaluation of the wound healing process. In this algorithm, a neural network is used to detect a combination of color spectra next to each other and a neural network is used to detect the distance of the wound from the camera via hand detection. Finally, the dimensions of the wound are obtained along with the analysis of its texture. The neural networks used are a deep networks and use intensive learning algorithms with less computational complexity than deep networks, which can be implemented on mobile processors as well. Networks are modified in a way that the additional connections between different nodes are removed without any change in performance. In this way, time and computational complexity are reduced. Background: Given the increased casualties of swimming at sea, there is an urgent need for an intelligent warning drowning detection system in the coasts. In order to provide such a system, image processing techniques in combination with the artificial intelligence are used. These challenges include the high noise of sea images, the presence of frequent moves in the image, and the size of the drowned from far distance. Methods: In this article, for monitoring the sea and automatic drowning detection, the swimmer is detected and the features of images are extracted through using image processing techniques and background omission. Then, using the artificial neural network, a network training and testing is done, and the drowning swimmer will be detected. This neural network of the perceptron type contains two hidden layers. There are 7 neurons in the first layer and 3 neurons in the second layer. Results: The results indicated that the neural network has detected drowning cases with the precision of 94.46%. Conclusion: For detecting drowning in sea beaches, the neural network is the best approach with the highest precision. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
