Purpose of research. The aim of the research is to form modules of organizational and technical systems (OTS) using a cognitive approach to solve problems of adaptation of cyberphysical systems. Currently, there is a rapid development of elements of the Internet of things. New tasks related to self-organization and adaptation in a rapidly changing external environment are brought to the fore. These tasks occur when new elements appear in the telecommunications computer network, they fail, change the mode, new tasks occur, etc. To work out these tasks, the possibilities of approaches to support and decision-making such as situational, cognitive, and semiotic are considered. The authors consider the cognitive approach in more detail. Within the framework of the cognitive paradigm, the article describes the use of the cognitive approach for solving problems of adaptation of cyberphysical systems. To solve this problem on the basis of an agent-based approach, the structure of a cyberphysical system with the possibility of adaptation is presented and the functions of its agents are described. The main stages of solving problems of adaptation of cyberphysical systems are presented. An adaptation algorithm using the planning mechanism is presented. The demo example shows a knowledge base for solving the problem of adapting cyberphysical systems using a cognitive planning mechanism.Materials and methods of research. New approaches and methods are required to address adaptation issues in planning. The cognitive approach is one of the developing directions in solving many problems of the Internet of things. One of these tasks is the ability to adapt OTS modules in a rapidly changing external environment based on the planning mechanism. To solve the planning problem, we use the algorithm described by Aristotle more than 2,350 years ago and implemented in the GPS program. This algorithm can be considered the first description of the cognitive mechanism that a person uses. The knowledge base uses an integrated approach to knowledge representation. When developing OTS modules, an agent-based approach was used to solve the problem of adaptation.Results. The existing and developing approaches and methods for decision support and decision-making are considered for decisionmaking in newly emerging situations in OTS modules. The main provisions of such significant approaches as situational, cognitive and semiotic are presented. A cognitive approach to the adaptation of intelligent systems is proposed. The solution of the problem of adaptation of cyberphysical systems is considered within the framework of the cognitive paradigm. The structure of a cyberphysical system capable of solving adaptation problems is shown. The functions of OTS modules based on agent-oriented technology are described. A description of the adaptation algorithm using the cognitive planning mechanism is given. The main stages of solving problems of adaptation of cyberphysical systems are presented. A demo example of solving the problem of adaptation by a cyberphysical system-a cooking robot – is shown.Conclusion. Using the modular architecture of an intelligent system allows you to solve many problems. One of these tasks is to configure elements of the Internet of things when they deviate from their main function. The planning mechanisms proposed for parametric adaptation can be repeatedly applied in OTS modules as separate agents. This approach is relevant for elements of the Internet of things. In the case of expanding the functionality of the OTS modules of Internet of things, it is advisable to apply machine learning with fixing the results in the knowledge base of planning agents.

A new cognitive approach is proposed for understanding the texts of planimetric tasks and for visualizing the task conditions to complement the syntactic-semantical sentence parsing. Two main difficulties in understanding texts of plane geometry tasks are observed: the ellipticity and vagueness of texts. To overcome the difficulties in understanding the task conditions it is proposed constructing cognitive models of objects and relations between them. The proposed cognitive approach is incorporated in an integrated system for automatic solving planimetric tasks with the natural language interface. The interactive visualization has been developed in the system. It depicts the syntactic and semantic structures as a result of natural language text analysis and searching for task solution. This visualization allows the users to obtain explanations associated with any elements of the images and to correct the tasks’ texts in dialog with the system. The destiny of the system is to serve for training schoolchildren in the domain of Euclidean geometry. The cognitive approach proposed can be a first step to automated analyzing plane geometry texts, in perspective, as a cognitively controlled parsing.

Purpose of research. The aim of the study is the use of cognitive technologies for the formation of speech dialogue management models. At present, for the development of the Internet of things, the expansion of communicative opportunities for their interaction, it is important to improve speech dialogue management models in many areas. The need for dialogue can arise between cyber-physical systems, between a person and cyber-physical systems, between users, developers, and administrators. The speech dialogue management models covers many issues related to processing a speech signal, semantic analysis, understanding the meaning of speech, using cognitive mechanisms for interaction, and some others. A special place among them is occupied by the problem of building a speech dialogue between users, developers, and cyberphysical systems. This article is devoted to the consideration of the use of speech dialogue management models of intelligent systems, as well as users, developers, administrators.Materials and methods of research. New approaches and methods are required to solve the problems within the framework of the Industry 4.0. The industry 4.0 concept represents a variety of technologies, including the creation of cyber-physical systems, a variety of different protocols for their interaction. One of its main directions is the Internet of things. Cognitive mechanisms associated with the formation and application of concrete sensory images, concepts-representations, concepts-frames are used to solve the problems of model formation. To form the abilities and speech skills for the communicative activities of the participants of the interaction within the framework of the Industry 4.0 concept, the methods associated with mastering foreign language technologies were used. The ultimate goal of their use is to achieve the ability to master spontaneous speech in both everyday and professional situations. Mastering a foreign language involves the use of cognitive technologies, which allows you to develop the structure of mental operations.Results. Some features of the formation of a voice dialogue management model for intelligent systems and the preparation of interaction participants in the framework of the concept — users, developers, and industrial system administrators – are considered. The application of cognitive mechanisms for organizing and using the model of speech dialogue management is shown. The use of conceptual representations and scripting concepts in intelligent systems allows us to develop the structure of the world model. The application of cognitive mechanisms for training interaction participants, within the framework of the Industry 4.0 concept, improves their training by improving understanding of the material being studied by building logical connections and a mental model of the material. Using concepts allows you to build mental models of your own thoughts. At the end of all mental operations, participants in the interaction acquire the ability to form speech dialogue management models.Conclusion. The use of cognitive technologies makes it possible, both for intelligent systems and for interaction participants, to use generalized static structures of concepts, situations, and dynamic structures for real and mental operations. The active use of such structures makes it possible to better understand the current situation and successfully formulate and use voice dialogue management models for solving problems arising during the development of the Industry 4.0 concept.

In today's digital world, information is exchanged among various sources, and it is expected that each interaction or transaction among the sources must be reliable and secure. In these circumstances, blockchain technology can be applied to ensure healthcare data security in an efficient way. Blockchain is an ordered list of records linked together through a chain of blocks in a distributed ledger. It is a decentralized and tamper-proof database system. It can be used to store the medical records of patients and play a vital role in healthcare to maintain and share medical data securely. At present, many scholars are focusing on the privacy and security in electronic health record (EHR) sharing based on blockchain technology. But still, the security of health data plays a significant challenge. A Cognitive Approach blockchain-based cryptographic curve hash signature (BC-CCHS) technique is proposed to secure patients' medical records and share their personal health data safely and conveniently. The proposed approach is carried out in the Hyperledger framework. Here, several phases like registration, authentication, uploading, and requesting are involved in enhancing the security mechanism. The proposed methodology is experimentally tested and validated with the existing techniques regarding encryption time, decryption time, throughput, delay, and overall processing time.

Purpose of the study.The aim of the study is the formation of the modular architecture of an intelligent system for solving the problems of the Internet of things. For this, modern trends in the development of technologies are considered, among which the most significant, promising areas and events in the field of information technologies are highlighted. Among these areas, events highlighted: the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies; use of cloud, fog computing; machine learning; cognitive approach in the field of artificial intelligence; development of cognitive computing. The main content of these areas is disclosed. In the context of the Internet of things, the modular architecture of an intelligent system is considered and its modules for solving tasks of purposeful behavior are described. As part of the development of the Internet of things, approaches to the management of innovative processes are considered. Emphasis is placed on the use of cognitive maps. With an increase in the volume of information, problems arise in making effective decisions. For this, intelligent systems focused on the use of conceptual representations and scripting concepts are considered.Materials and research methods.When solving problems within the framework of the Industry 4.0 concept (the Internet of things), new approaches and methods are required. System Industry 4.0 represents many technologies, including the creation of devices, sensors, and many protocols for their interaction. One of its main directions is the Internet of things, which represents a new step in improving the Internet. For the development of the Internet of things, fog computing is used that extends and complements cloud computing. One of the central places on the Internet of things is machine learning. A brief description of the basic methods of machine learning is given. The use of a cognitive approach in the context of understanding and using mechanisms that allow a person to decipher information about reality and organize it for comparisons, decision making and many new tasks that arise in everyday life is shown. The developing directions of cognitive computing are presented.Results.The modular architecture of an intelligent system for solving the problems of the Internet of things is proposed: modules of an intelligent system for solving the problems of the Internet of things using sensory images; intelligent system modules for solving the problems of the Internet of things using conceptual representations; intelligent system modules for solving the problems of the Internet of things using concept scenarios. Significant, promising areas and events in the field of information technology are presented and their main content is disclosed. Approaches to the management of innovative processes are considered. The use of a fuzzy cognitive map is described, which reflects the stages and factors of creating a robot vacuum cleaner that affect the life cycle.Conclusion.Using the modular architecture of an intelligent system allows you to solve the problem of targeted behavior using sensual images of the world. Such systems can be used to solve the problems of the Internet of things. Using an integrated approach to the description of reality, the intelligent system of modular architecture allows the formation of conceptual representations and conceptual scenarios. They can reduce the flow of information, which is important for the Internet of things and the Internet of everything. Description of significant, promising areas in the field of information technology, approaches to managing innovative processes gives an understanding of the development of cognitive computing.

Due to its affiliation with formalism, ludology, the scientific perspective prioritized in game studies, considers the rule–mechanic binomial to be an essential principle of any scholarly approach to video games. Nevertheless, the limitation of the game system order implies that, as a fundamental part of this epistemological approach, the empirical validity of its methodology is already being rejected. As such, this article attempts to shift the focus away from the rule–mechanic relation, and from a cybersemiotic perspective, to refocus it on a conceptualization of the human–machine relationship. In order to do so, the concept of convolution regarding said relation is defined, including both parts of the video game system in terms of signal processing. Likewise, this model is contrasted with a randomized total sample of 1,200 games ( N = 1,200, n = 300) in order to arrive at a set of conclusions about the behavior of the distinct video game genres in the indicated terms.

The structures of the human body allow biomechanical movements in a series of kinetic sequences. The study of movement is often characterized by the excessive use of new technologies that also invade dynamics with deterministic hypotheses that are only of computer engineering and only for diagnostic aspects of bioinformatics. Biomechanics is therefore often reduced to the expansion of statics and kinematics without any consideration of dynamics in the full sense of the meaning. The dynamic is the basis on which all the laws of movement are implemented, attributing a cause that includes the reaction to the stresses integrated by the decision choices of each individual person. Integration is characterized by the quality of decisions that characterize the difference between motor learning. Decisions are generated by the learning teaching processes to which every human being in developmental age is subjected. It is clear that biomechanical acquisitions can make an important contribution in the evaluation and management of problems affecting human movement, but, in an integrated way, they need other knowledge and interventions to be truly effective in their application.

The effective learning requires putting down various associations of new ideas to old ones to integrate some innovative thoughts. The learners must change the associations among the things they already know, or even reject some long-held attitude about the world. The choice to the essential reformation is to deform the new information to fit their old ideas or to reject the new information entirely. Learners come to the classroom with their own ideas, some may be correct and some may not be, concerning roughly each topic they are expected to come across. If their perception and misunderstanding are unnoticed or discharged out of control, it affects the learning of a learner. The learners must be encouraged to build up new observation by seeing how such observation helps them make better sense of the world. The objective of this research paper is to put down the fundamentals of learning that promotes effective learning in an instructor-led virtual classroom and to analyze the learners’ learning performance using the Discriminant Analysis, a data mining technique. The Discriminant Analysis uses statistically significant determinants to predict learners’ learning in a classroom.

The aim of the study is electronic learning systems. They refer to organizational and technical systems and use different approaches and technologies to solve learning problems. In modern conditions, education is becoming one of the main factors for the successful development of countries with the developed economies. Knowledge is beginning to occupy key positions in the life of these countries. Specialists, who have received professional education and want to improve their level of knowledge, are the key resource of the economy. Lifelong education has become a necessary and increasingly dominant element of modern educational systems. Modern distance learning systems are used to solve these problems. The paper deals with electronic distance learning systems and explores the possibility of using cognitive mechanisms for the development of educational technologies.Materials and methods. Ongoing education requires new approaches and technologies that fit well into distance learning systems. These systems use the following approaches and technologies: service-oriented architectures, cloud technologies and virtualization, intelligent dynamic systems, multi-agent systems, ontologies, evolving knowledge. The authors use machine learning technologies and agent-oriented approach to apply cognitive mechanisms. Integrated methods of knowledge representation are used to describe the reality. Using these approaches and methods, the authors consider the development and construction of modules of intelligent learning systems with the integration of computer paradigm and cognitive mechanisms.Results.The article presents an example of the development and use of educational resources for learning a foreign language in a technical University. The electronic course is created in the distance learning system Moodle. The result of testing students after studying the definite topic is shown. The article considers the structure of hardware and software modules for the formation of concepts from the sensual images of objects and phenomena of reality. Hardware-software modules are presented, which are necessary for the formation of concepts-representations from a variety of sensory mappings of control actions. A demo example of the formation of the concept scenarios and a fragment of the knowledge base containing the generated concept scenario are given.Conclusion.The use of distance learning system Moodle allows students to work out the current material of the course. This material can be worked out by students independently and repeatedly, till their full understanding and achievements of skill. Testing after each studied topic allows assessing the level of knowledge and the success of the current training of the definite course units. The considered approaches for the formation of concepts-representations and concepts-scenarios open up opportunities for the use of cognitive mechanisms. These approaches make it possible to use generalized knowledge in intelligent systems for the formation of new solutions for targeted behavior. Such approaches can be used both in training systems for the assimilation of new knowledge and in simulators of advanced systems for the formation of skills. Cognitive technologies can be used in social communities of agents.

The aim of the research is the intellectual systems, focused on the use of cognitive mechanisms relating to the issues of formation and formalization of reality representation for solving the problems of goaloriented behavior. The interest to the use of cognitive mechanisms arose after it became evident that while using various achievements in the field of information technologies, the computer is inferior to a man in solving some intellectual problems. The article examines the possibility of using cognitive approach. This approach allows to reduce the volumes of the information being processed while working out the managerial solutions for unplanned, unexpected situations. For the use of cognitive mechanisms the author considers the methods that ensure their application in the formation and structuring of concept-representations. When solving this task we use modern methods and technologies of а modular approach. So service-oriented architecture represents a modular approach to software development. This approach uses replaceable components that have standardized interfaces and communicate over standardized protocols. An agent-oriented approach is equally important for smart system developers. Compared to objects, agents are not entities that require specific methods from each other, but entities that request the operation of required actions. The agent is at a significantly higher level of complexity with respect to traditional objects in an object-oriented approach. Using these approaches and methods, the author considers the issues of building modules of intelligent systems with the integration of the computer paradigm and cognitive mechanisms. The article presents the structure of a cybernetic system for solving relatively simple problems of goal-oriented behavior. The system uses a classical approach to the representation of reality – sensual images. These images are formed of features, the values of which are obtained from various sources (sensors, software applications) OTS. The modules which are necessary for forming conceptsrepresentations of reality from sensual images are shown. A concept representation is a generalized sense-visual image of an object or phenomenon. Concepts-representations are static and represent a reflection of a set of the brightest external, sensually perceived signs of a separate subject or a reality phenomenon. A demo example of the formation of concept representation is presented. A fragment of the knowledge base containing the generated concept representation is shown. The application of the considered approach will allow us to approach not only the problem solution of the formation of conceptrepresentations, but also their use for the solution of the task of a goal-oriented behavior. In this task it is possible to allocate two stages. At the first stage control actions (commands) can be used, which can be planned and implemented without changes. At the second stage it will be possible to form generalized representations of commands. In this case, you will need to translate them into a specific, executable form. These mechanisms can be used in cybernetic systems to reduce the amount of processed information in decision-making, to overcome unplanned, unexpected situations.

The aim of the study is to develop innovative intelligent technology and information systems of distance education for people with impaired vision (PIV). To solve this problem a comprehensive approach has been proposed, which consists in the aggregate of the application of artificial intelligence methods and statistical analysis. Creating an accessible learning environment, identifying the intellectual, physiological, psychophysiological characteristics of perception and information awareness by this category of people is based on cognitive approach. On the basis of fuzzy logic the individually-oriented learning path of PIV is con- structed with the aim of obtaining high-quality engineering education with modern equipment in the joint use laboratories.

The aim of the study is intelligent modules of organizational-technical systems (OTS) for solving the task of purposeful behavior taking into account features to operate the object in a rapidly changing external environment. A widely used computing paradigm contains inherent symbolic submissions of information and their processing with algorithms focused on the logic and combinatorics of procedures. This computer approach in solving some intellectual tasks is inferior to the man. One of the approaches to study complex tasks can be the use of a simpler model task. For such models, the article investigates the possibility of using the cognitive approach that can be used in the intelligent modules of OTS for solving tasks of purposeful behavior. In order to solve the task of purposeful behavior taking into account features to operate the object in a rapidly changing external environment a cognitive approach to cybernetic systems as intelligent modules of OTS can be used. The author considered the cybernetic approach to the evolution and use of simple model systems with purposeful behavior. A cognitive approach includes plenty of problems. The solution of these problems is connected with the methods, taking into account cognitive aspects referring to processes of perception, thinking, knowledge, explanations and understanding. In a system with a simple model the issues of categorization, the role and place of the Gestalt, the formation of the characteristic values as an important element of cognitive semantics are considered. In further studies it is necessary to pay due attention to the knowledge of cybernetic systems, their submissions, storage, processing, interpretation and production of new knowledge. As a result of the research, the structure of a cybernetic system with a simple model of behavior is proposed. This system is able to solve relatively simple tasks of purposeful behavior. When adding modules, providing recognition of primitive images (geometrical shapes, objects), speech recognition and the formation of voice messages, the cybernetic system is capable to form new signs about the outside world. Using such signs and new controlling actions, the robot can build a more complex interaction with reality. A new system (the robot KSUKHA) allows considering separate categories (the beginnings of the categories) for the further use. Separate categories can become the prototype categories for the future and distant descendants of this cybernetic system (robot) in this evolutionary tree. Application of the considered approach will allow us to come to the solution of tasks of forming categories, and in future to form basic categories to use cognitive mechanisms of human thinking. These mechanisms can be applied in cybernetic systems for solving the tasks of purposeful behavior.

Representation of cognitive area and revealing terminological characteristics of the Russian and English names of building materials (NBMs) determine the topicality of the research and the article’s problematic. The authors of the article analyze the Russian and English NBMs and reveal their main stages with the comparative description, and chооse the definition of the names, in which the basic word-identifier of the leading cognitive features have been highlighted. These features have become the basics for the formation of the thematic groups. The classification of the names of building materials is formed from five groups: organic materials / orgonicheskie materialy; inorganic materials / neorgonicheskie materialy; metals and metal products / metaly i izdelija iz nih; other building materials / prochie stroitel’nye materialy; properties of building materials / svojstva stroitel’nyh materialov. Properties of building materials is subdivided into models according to their structural characteristics: physical properties / fizicheskie svoystva; mechanical properties / mehanicheskie svojstva; defects / defekty.

One of the pressing topics of the marketing analysis, the problem of studying and modeling of consumer character, is examined. An approach to the problems is proposed, based on the modern concepts of cognitive psychology and new methods of personality psycho-diagnostics. The basic premises of the approach are formulated. The logical-linguistic formalism for modeling and identification of consumer psychological profile is developed. A description of an applied method of identification is given. The results of reliability and validity check of the method are discussed.

The development of more-evolved urban vulnerability assessment (UVA) models has become an increasingly important issue for both policy agendas and academia. Several requirements have already been set for this goal; they should be pursued simultaneously. However, methods with such integration are yet to be developed. The present paper addresses this integration via a discursive process in which interactions between decision makers and the method contribute to the selection of a model fulfilling these requirements. That model yields a UVA built upon both qualitative information and quantitative data from indicators selected for the neighbourhood, city, province, region and country political-administrative scales. The characteristics demanded are encoded both into the UVA assessment model and in the optimization and control modules governing the process. While the optimization produces compromise solutions, the control module supervises the process, provides dynamic control and enables the interactions. Interactions are informed with knowledge derived from the cognitive approach entailed by the method and afford a better understanding of the process dynamics. We conclude that the goodness of fit and time dynamics objectives are aligned. Therefore, UVA methods performing well for these objectives are available, although at the expense of a medium to poor performance in preferences and robustness

In grammar-based design method, the relationship between forms, design builder is the basic idea. These relationships not only can be constructed based on the geometry of pure form, but also the form can be edited according to the meaning given to. Form selection and determination of the relationship between forms is determined by design problems, program and designer's review. Rule-based alternatives to replicate both in terms of design, both of which are common characteristics and to obtain different from each other in terms of design provides conveniences. Thanks to computer technology to be transferred to a computer-based design rules and in the use of the rapid developments. The scope of this article, by analyzing samples of shape grammars made in housing design, shape rules examined so that architectural designers the advantages issues will be investigated. In this context, shape grammar examples of theoretical and practical field of the evaluation are made through performed by will be done through analysis.

This paper was written with the objective of checking on the treatment given to the concept of organizational strategy within each of the strategic choice, cognitive and institutional approaches. To carry out this objective, theoretical and methodological criteria were defined. The identification of these criteria was presented in a descriptive fashion, starting with the examination of the referential background for each approach. The descriptions of their respective indicators were grouped into content matrixes, and analyzed by the means of a comparative methodology. The indicators of the theoretical criteria were the representations of the individual, the organization and the environment. The indicator of the methodological criteria was the dimension of analysis. The results obtained reveal significant variations which configure specific arrangements of definition and treatment of the constitutive elements of conception of organizational strategy in each of the approaches under analysis.

Intuitively, any ‘bag of words’ approach in IR should benefit from taking term dependencies into account. Unfortunately, for years the results of exploiting such dependencies have been mixed or inconclusive. To improve the situation, this paper shows how the natural language properties of the target documents can be used to transform and enrich the term dependencies to more useful statistics. This is done in three steps. The term co-occurrence statistics of queries and documents are each represented by a Markov chain. The paper proves that such a chain is ergodic, and therefore its asymptotic behavior is unique, stationary, and independent of the initial state. Next, the stationary distribution is taken to model queries and documents, rather than their initial distri- butions. Finally, ranking is achieved following the customary language modeling paradigm. The main contribution of this paper is to argue why the asymptotic behavior of the document model is a better representation then just the document’s initial distribution. A secondary contribution is to investigate the practical application of this representation in case the queries become increasingly verbose. In the experiments (based on Lemur’s search engine substrate) the default query model was replaced by the stable distribution of the query. Just modeling the query this way already resulted in significant improvements over a standard language model baseline. The results were on a par or better than more sophis- ticated algorithms that use fine-tuned parameters or extensive training. Moreover, the more verbose the query, the more effective the approach seems to become.

In this study, we developed a digitizing tablet-based instrument for the clinical assessment of human voluntary movements targeting motor processes of planning, programming and execution. The tool was used to investigate an adaptation of Fitts' reciprocal tapping task [10], comprising four conditions, each of them modulated by three indices of difficulty related to the amplitude of movement required. Temporal, spatial and sequential constraints underlying the various conditions allowed the intricate motor processes to be dissociated. Data obtained from a group of elderly healthy subjects (N = 50) were in agreement with the literature on motor control, in the temporal and spatial domains. Speed constraints generated gains in the temporal domain and costs in the spatial one, while spatial constraints generated gain in the spatial domain and costs in the temporal one; finally, sequential constraints revealed the integrative nature of the cognitive operations involved in motor production. This versatile instrument proved capable of providing quantitative, accurate and sensitive measures of the various processes sustaining voluntary movement in healthy subjects. Altogether, analyses performed in this study generated a theoretical framework and reference data which could be used in the future for the clinical assessment of patients with various movement disorders, in particular Parkinson’s disease.
