As part of ICTs, computer systems they play an important role in automating the processes of the different institutions. In the Systems and Computing Engineering degree at UNACH, the process of collecting, reviewing and evaluating evidence was carried out manually, causing a series of inconveniences such as: loss of information, duplicate information, waste of time, errors and lack of physical space. . Carrying out the evaluation of the evidence caused the person in charge to travel to the different places where the information was stored, causing a loss of time and effort. The verification of the delivery of evidence was done in an Excel file, creating versions of the same evidence for different processes, causing difficulty in centralizing the evidence, validating and generating reports on the fulfillment of the activities carried out by the teachers. For this reason, the objective of This research is to develop a web system that helps teachers to record the evidence generated in the different academic processes, which will be evaluated by a commission of experts. The before and after use of the system was analyzed using the T-student parametric test with a sample of less than 30, determining that there was an increase of 37.63% in teacher compliance when using the system. When analyzing the system, the number of requested evidences increased to 57.14% and the review time decreased to 66.66%.

This article presents the results of research on existing tools and the definition of theoretical aspects of the use of modern frameworks for software development, as well as justification of the feasibility and impact of variability of choice on the quality of software applications. The main results of the study are the rationale for the choice of frameworks for software development. It should be noted that despite the large number of frameworks, the structured analysis is carried out by a rather small number of researchers, which determines the scientific novelty of this issue. Choosing the right framework is one of the main principles that determine the quality of the future site. Each of the technologies presented in this article can be considered exhaustive in all respects because they are used both in the practice of converting to a graphical interface (frontend) and to develop a variant of software architecture (backend). Therefore, you should choose a platform according to the convenience of programming languages. So Agile is best suited for open-ended projects, such as launching Internet services, developing computer games, and operating systems. However, flexibility can lead to loss of focus and loss of predictability. It is very important to separate the errors of the flexible approach from the shortcomings of the methodology itself. It will take some time to adapt to the realities of specific tasks before all the benefits of the approach are realized. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using certain frameworks in accordance with the needs of the customer and the developer to achieve certain results in software development.

Cloud computing Web systems are today the most important part of the Web. Many companies transfer their services to the cloud in order to avoid infrastructure aging and thus preventing less efficient computing. Distribution of the load is a crucial problem in cloud computing systems. Due to the specifics of network traffic, providing an acceptable time of access to the Web content is not trivial. The utilization of the load distribution with adaptive intelligent distribution strategies can deliver the highest quality of service, short service time and reduce the costs. In the article, a new, two-level, intelligent HTTP request distribution strategy is presented. In the process of designing the architecture of the proposed solution, the results of earlier studies and experiments were taken into account. The proposed decision system contains fuzzy-neural models yielding minimal service times in the Web cloud. The article contains a description of the new solution and the test-bed. In the end, the results of the experiments are discussed and conclusions and presented.

The paper considers the architectural template and methods of building a module for organizing the work of the window information web-system for the formation of medical certificates. To solve this problem, modern tools of web programming and software development are used: a module with the im-plementation of JavaScript objects – window manager and a class of window interactive interface, which allow the web application to function in the organization of cloud technologies. The software implementation is considered and the results of practical use of the developed module with objects and classes are given. The proposed architecture template of the module for the implementation of the man-ager and the functionality of the user window interface allowed to create a module of the information system for the organization of business logic when working with medical certificates. The modular ap-proach has had a positive effect on the sensitivity of the user interface and the ability to scale the func-tionality of the system itself in the implementation of cloud technologies. Due to the modular ap-proach, the rendering time of web-forms with the original data in most cases is very small compared to the time required by the browser to parse and display the entire database array, which has a positive ef-fect on the sensitivity of the user interface. The generation of web-forms is of great practical im-portance, because debugging in this software structure is a weak point for many frameworks. The re-sults of use showed that the mechanism of modular creation of the manager and the window interactive interface of web-forms not only organically fits into already existing technologies of construction of web-applications, but also has sufficient potential to become the core of cloud technologies of develop-ment of multiuser information systems and web- services.

Background Spatial data analysis refers to the process of finding patterns, detecting anomalies, or testing hypotheses and theories by observing phenomena associated with a specific geographic area or location. The literature in the area presents different studies that seek to understand its phenomena through spatial analysis techniques and methods. However, these studies have several problems, such as the frequent use of only one type of analysis, area or punctual. Furthermore, the studies do not formally describe the process of treatment and organization applied to the data to replicate the spatial analyzes in other research areas. Thus, this work proposes a web system for generating, organizing, and processing data compatible with geographic information systems to construct spatial analysis of area and points. Methods The proposed method was developed with the JavaScript programming language and structured in four sequential steps: data acquisition, processing and organization, data validation, and spatial analysis. Data from three diseases (cystic fibrosis, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and hemoglobinopathies) from a neonatal screening program in southern Brazil were used to validate the proposed method and construct the spatial analyses. The choropleth mapping and kernel density estimation methods were used to build the analyses. Results The results obtained made it possible to georeference the data, validate it to its area of study, associate it with its micro and mesoregions, and cross it with public databases. In addition, the results enabled the construction of scientific maps of area and points to visualize the primary evidence from the spatial distribution of disease cases. Conclusions The developed method showed high replication potential for other study contexts. Also, it proved to be relevant in the context of spatial analysis, enabling speed in processing, data organization and, consequently, in the construction of significant results that can be used in public policies that directly impact people's quality of life and health challenges.

This project arises as part of a larger project with researchers from the PERGAMEX project, where the need to promote intergenerational communication remotely in times of pandemic was detected. Several authors have already reaffirmed the benefits that these dynamics bring. To do this, a previous study has been carried out to analyze factors related to the interaction of the elderly and children with computers and applications. A total of 18 interviews have been carried out. The results of the previous study conclude that the elderly prefer an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, and an interaction with buttons. Children, being more used to games and their interaction, prefer both systems (direct interaction and interaction with buttons). Based on these results, and a previous analysis of the available technologies, a web system has been designed and developed for the implementation of a game that encourages intergenerational communication. As future work, the necessary activities for the validation of the proposed system must be carried out.

Effective technical communication, collaboration, and leadership are among essential skills required from computer scientists. Project-based learning using open-ended projects is praised for fostering these skills in the context of software development. Our observations, in the context of a systems course, suggest that while learning outcomes are achieved, open-ended projects are stressful for students. We investigate the appropriate methods, levels of specification, and scaffolding to help students learn the concepts while implementing real-world web projects in student-formed groups.

Educational technology, as it is nowadays understood, is a relatively new concept. Traditionally, it was understood as the use of audiovisual materials in the classroom; however, this concept has been left behind to be considered a fundamental part of educational processes, taking into account multiple disciplines. This research links theoretical foundations with the development of a web system considering pedagogical aspects for the generation of educational technology; this is done in three stages: (1) seeking educational foundation and its adaptation to technology, (2) the applicability of these to the concept of usability and (3) the development of the system web. The results obtained were favorable; the SUS (Scale Usability System) tool determined a usability level of 91.38. In this sense, creating a system that managed information about the Fungi kingdom considers the incorporation of pedagogical and technological techniques during the elaboration process. Considering the characteristics of the end-user will help the teaching-learning process and, thus, keep the interest from the user to continue using the generated instrument.

Web system testing is a crucial software development cycle. However, though there are real needs for testing these complex systems, it often requires specific skills in testing and/or technical programming. Moreover, the lifecycles of web systems are today very dynamic. They are often modified, updated, integrating new data, links, widgets, etc. Therefore, the testing processes and scripts for these systems have to be modified as well which can be very costly in terms of time and resources. Based on that context, this paper aims at reducing these prerequisites and constraints for tester in proposing a codeless testing automation framework. Our approach is based on Selenium and a machine learning technique to propose generic testing scripts that can be automatically tuned to the tested use cases. Experiments are provided leading to relevant results demonstrating the success of our methodology.

In aquaculture, fishery workers and researchers attach great importance to water temperature. This is because knowing the water temperature makes it possible to take measures against fish diseases and predict the occurrence of red tide. In collaboration with fishery researchers, we constructed a multi-depth sensor network consisting of 16 water temperature observation devices over the Uwa Sea in Ehime Prefecture. In addition, we developed a Web system that can instantly visualize the water temperature measured on this network and provide it to fishery workers in the Uwa Sea. However, the water temperature information provided by this Web system is only current or past information, and fishery workers are requiring the provision of near-future water temperature forecasts for a week or two weeks. Therefore, in this research, as a new function of this Web system, we will implement a function to predict the water temperature in the near future from the past water temperature information and provide the forecast information. This paper examines the steps to be solved for the prediction of seawater temperature, which is the current problem in this system. Moreover, among the steps, this paper reports on the solution method and its evaluation experiment for improving the accuracy of water temperature information.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems (AACs) is an important study area for people who need alternative ways to communicate their ideas. An AAC web system based on pictograms for the elderly VitaApp is pre- sented in this paper. The system results from the implementation of the last phase of the UIAAC method, which guides the design and implementation of AAC systems aimed at older adults. VitaApp is based on a client-server architecture, divided into three roles: a) administrator, carer: these oversee customizing the interface and have dedicated web applications; b) elderly: they use the AAC application that their caregiver personalizes for them. The graphical interface of the AAC application is evaluated through a case study that was applied to an older adult, his caregiver, and a clinical psychologist; in this, the ease of use, usefulness, and future use of the web application were evaluated. The results show that its users perceive VitaApp as an alternative communication support tool, useful, easy to use, and considered to be used in the future.

High-throughput gene expression studies yielded a great number of large datasets, and these are freely available in biological databases. Re-analyzing these studies individually or in clusters can produce new results relevant to the scientific community. The purpose of this work is to develop a WEB system based on the e-Science paradigm. The system should read massive amounts of data from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, pre-process, mine, and display it in a user-friendly interface. Thus, it is intended to mitigate the difficulty in interpreting data from transcriptomic studies made using the DNA microarray technique. Also presented will be the preliminary results obtained from the initial stages of development, as well as the proposed architecture for the system.

During the last 30 years, the web has evolved from simple information HTML pages to complex applications supporting business, television, newspapers, entertainment, and others. While there are many articles on website popularity, there has been little work in understanding the complexity of individual web pages. In the article, we present a measurement-driven study of the complexity of web pages today. We measured 426 866 web pages in about 12 weeks. Our study is devoted to two problems. The first problem was to describe the complexity of a web page with metrics based on the content they included and the kind of service they offered. The second focus of our study was to build probabilistic models of observed distributions. Such models can be used in HTTP request generators modelling the work of modern web systems. Separate models are proposed for each category of web pages and all pages together.

The research work is focused on the solution to a problem that a company dedicated to the manufacture of chocolates has. This company does not have a computer system to help it improve its management. The information recorded from the logistics and cost processes is stored locally in Excel files, and the information from the operational processes is stored in bond sheets and then transferred to Excel files. Since information is very valuable for a company, it must be orderly, accessible, and secure. Therefore, the Scrum methodology was implemented for the development of a prototype web system for the company. The prototype of this web system was developed with Adobe XD software because it is easy to use and complete for the design of interfaces for web pages. As a result of the development of the prototype of the web system, there is a record of information in an orderly, interactive, easy, fast, and above all safe way. And it was concluded that the management of the logistics and cost area of the company was optimized and improved.

Manually checking the configuration of manageable network devices is a time-consuming process, that should be automated. This automatization is especially needed in the school environment with many students, where a teacher must effectively evaluate the students' results. This paper describes a proposal of a web system for testing configuration of network devices. The proposed system enables students to easily upload and evaluate configurations of network devices. When a student uploads configurations files, the system compares them to golden-model configuration files, uploaded by the teacher. Based on these comparisons, the system is able to evaluate students' configurations and display the results. The system was designed in such a way that the students cannot access the golden-model configuration files - i.e. answers uploaded by the teacher. The proposed system also makes organization of configuration files easier for students and teachers by grouping them into tasks and courses.

This work aims to contribute to the referral process of patients from first to second level of medical healthcare in a Hospital of the Public Health System, in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. Currently, this process is carried out through a paper format, which the doctor must elaborate for each patient requiring to be referred to a second level Health Center. The physical copy of the reference form must be taken personally by the patient to the Archive Department of the General Hospital of Ensenada. This process requires the patient to wait there to be assigned the medical appointment with a specialist, which always results in the need to come back another date and time. This proposal applies Process Re-engineering to analyze the current process and redesign it. Information Technologies are used as change enablers, specifically, the development of a prototype web system. With this prototype, the new process for referring patients from the first level to the second level of care is automated. This new process simplifies the steps and reduces the effort from the patient to make his transition from the Health Center to the Ensenada General Hospital to schedule his second level appointment.
