Introduction. In this article, the basic principles of ecological monitoring were considered, and the possibilities of constructing sensor systems were analysed. It was proposed to use the NB-IoT low-energy telecommunication standard as a basic wireless protocol for ecological system development, which ensures effective communication of network devices. A prototype of the system was constructed, and algorithms for receiving and transmitting signals were simulated.Aim. To construct a prototype of a transceiver based on the NB-IoT standard and perform its simulation. To utilize digital twin in MatLab to create the proposed system.Materials and methods. The prototype was constructed using the Xilinx Zedboard evaluation board and transceiver on AD9361 chip, and the simulation was performed using the MatLab 2010 software package.Results. The results of the simulation in the channel with the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) were obtained, and the level of the detected synchronization signals of the NB-IoT standard was determined. The receiver and transmitter of the NB-IoT standard were implemented on the Xilinx Zedboard evaluation board. The timing simulation results show that the designed system can be tested in a real environment. The power consumption and resource utilization of the constructed wireless sensor network prototype unit were determined. Conclusion. The results obtained via the simulation process show that the designed prototype of the communication system works correctly, and the produced signal meets all the requirements of the NB-IoT standard. The results can be used for creating a domestic manufactured, specialized integrated chip for data units of ecological monitoring systems.

Modern environmental monitoring systems are distributed systems, often with the integration of automated data collection and transmission processes. This approach allows to reduce the measurement error by eliminating the human factor, but sets a number of tasks to improve the efficiency of the system devices, including power consumption. The main consumer of energy in the device is the radio transmitter module. The article presents the calculations of the required energy for data transmission, depending on the selected parameters of the LoRaWAN radio module and the device operation algorithm, an estimate of the device operation time when using various transmission algorithms. With the introduced restrictions, the calculated benefit of the required energy for the transmission of one bit of information is up to 26% when choosing the optimal parameters of the transmitter and up to four times the operating time of the device from the battery with using varios depeloped algorithm of data forming and transmission.

Automated environmental monitoring systems nowadays are a set of devices interconnected by information transmission channels, often using wireless communication technologies based on various standards. The development of procedures for information interaction of AEMS devices is an urgent task, the solution of which will reduce the cost of data transmission. The paper presents the developed procedures for the information interaction of devices describing the entire process from receiving the value of the measured parameter from the sensor to sending it through the radio channel. The parameters of the confidence interval for the device sensors and the dynamic period of data sending have been introduced, allowing omitting the transmission of duplicate data, as a result, reduce the total energy consumption of the device.

All environmental and monitoring systems are most often based on the accumulated statistics of various parameters of temperature, harmful emissions, humidity, carbon dioxide. This paper describes methods of implementing machine learning algorithms for forecasting problems within a specifically developed ASMOS system in Russia. The proposed algorithm makes it possible to consider the change in temperature for several hours in advance, as well as days. Later this algorithm can be implemented in the system for assessing hazardous environmental situations, where a comparison of hazardous factors affecting the environment carried out.

Development of information technologies makes it possible to carry out distance support of the course “English for special purpose” studied at Technological University. The purpose of the study is to analyze the system of mastering lexical skills, based on combination of online study and face-to-face classes which allows to take into account the individual trajectory of each student. The study examines the organization of work with professional vocabulary in the framework of distance support of courses “English for special purpose” for Masters (major “Chemical technology”) of Kazan national Research Technological university. Introduction and training of vocabulary is based on texts which are analyzed using the Flash Kincaid scale and processed later using the methods analyzed in the research. Introduction of new vocabulary online is carried out through visualization, word formation analysis and translation. Training lexical skills online is carried out through translation and training exercises (multiple choice, finishing a sentence, inserting a word), which are organized through the “test function”, as the possibilities of MOODLE are limited. Automated control of three types (diagnostic, intermediate and final) is used for assessment. The system of lexical exercises allows not only to understand the meaning of the unit in the context, but also allows students with a low level of English not to be behind the group. As a result, the average percentage of completion of the online final test raised from 70% to 80–85%.

This paper present automatic environmental monitoring system named ASMOS. The principles of constructing this system, methods and stages of its operation are described. An experimental hardware and software prototype of the ASMOS system was developed and a laboratory test of the system was carried out.

An analytical model for assessing the state of the cyber-physical environmental monitoring system, which allows monitoring the performance of the system’s target functions during operation on the basis of a posteriori information. When building the model it is necessary to allocate the basic properties of the system and its characteristics, and presented at the structural level constraints as a set of domains, which allows you to adjust system parameters, ensuring their invariance to the action of disturbances. The analytical model is considered in relation to a distributed hierarchical complex multi-agent dynamic measurement system in the framework of a project to build a digital platform for monitoring environmental parameters.

As part of the presented work, analysis of the conditions for the transition of the fuel and energy complex to digital and innovative technologies. The work evaluates the energy complex taking into account modern changes and the transition of enterprises to new technologies. At the end of the study, measures are proposed for an effective transition to new technologies.

This research reports the ongoing design of the HISMACITY (Historical Small Smart City) Protocol, a planning tool with a certification system. The tool is designed for small municipalities in Europe. Through the award-winning certification system, the Protocol supports the fulfillment of best practices. Such practices can enhance town attractiveness. It also counteracts excessive land use that results from urban growth, and reduces demographic decline in internal areas of each country. The research methodology is grounded on building a dynamic dataset using geo big data, local data, and mobile data via information communications technology (ICT), and real-time data through sensors. The tool aims to build algorithms to calculate indicators that measure quality standards of integrated interventions. The aim is to reach specific goals within defined priority areas of the Historical Small Smart City Protocol. Being highly adaptive, the framework follows urban responsive design principles based on weighted suitability models that can be calibrated by changing the input data and the weights of the linear combination formula. The results highlight varying framework data, including the tool’s development procedures and practicality.

Nowadays the topic of the development of 5G networks is actual. Usually this technology is based on the previous generations of cellular communication networks such as 3G and 4G improving corresponding pluses of each of the previous generations. For virtualization and creation connection between two users, various technologies, such as SDN, VoIP, ad hoc are often used. In this article, presented main steps of development the complex model of the terminal equipment for VoIP technology based on the Russian processor. The possibilities of integrating VoIP technologies into the 5th generation cellular networks were considered. VoIP Linphone software has also been optimized for subsequent implementation in systems to minimize resource consumption.

In this article the concept of a antijam communication system on the basis of pseudonoise signals and architecture of MANET is offered. The overall performance mobile ad hoc networks are very strongly depends from the interference, which can be generated both by environment and devices. Additional load in network is created by using UDP protocol that are inexpedient in view of redundancy. A number of the existing interferences was considered, and the possibility of use the TCP protocol in MANET is analysed. In work presented the overall performance of the TCP protocol in a difficult interfering situation.

This paper presents method to determining profile of profession for railway company employees, namely mathematical model and methodology for identifying potentially unfit workers. Developed mathematical model based on formation of a statistical set and plotting of a statistical function of a random variable, which makes it possible to numerically characterize the basic requirements for a given profession. The proposed models allow solving an important scientific and practical problem of developing a method for assessing properties of a person in accordance with profile of profession, with purpose of selecting personnel or preventing injury. Developed mathematical model is the basis for a self-learning highly intelligent system based on principles and methods of machine learning.

International audience; The global sensitivity analysis of a complex numerical model often calls for the estimation of variance-based importance measures, named Sobol' indices. Metamodel-based techniques have been developed in order to replace the cpu time-expensive computer code with an inexpensive mathematical function, which predicts the computer code output. The common metamodel-based sensitivity analysis methods are well-suited for computer codes with scalar outputs. However, in the environmental domain, as in many areas of application, the numerical model outputs are often spatial maps, which may also vary with time. In this paper, we introduce an innovative method to obtain a spatial map of Sobol' indices with a minimal number of numerical model computations. It is based upon the functional decomposition of the spatial output onto a wavelet basis and the metamodeling of the wavelet coefficients by the Gaussian process. An analytical example is presented to clarify the various steps of our methodology. This technique is then applied to a real hydrogeological case: for each model input variable, a spatial map of Sobol' indices is thus obtained.
