Abstract

With image processing techniques the improved or different images can be obtained and pattern recognition processes can be done using digital images. These operations begin from capturing the image and continue using the different techniques. Image processing which includes wide area is an important subject of computer science. Moreover, it is one of the significant working areas of reverse engineering. In this paper, the information regarding three different systems which have been developed to obtain 3D point clouds for digital images is given. The algorithm of the system in which point clouds can be obtained using image processing techniques is explained and samples are introduced. 3D point clouds can be obtained from the digital camera or hand held camcorder images which are different shapes with the system which solved the problem. These point clouds can easily be converted into three dimensional solid or surface model in a Computer Aided Design (CAD) program. BİLGİSAYAR DESTEKLİ KESME KALIBI TASARIMI (Doktora Tezi) Abdullah ŞİŞMAN GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Eylül 2001 ÖZET Bu çalışma ile ardışık kesme kalıpları için bir bilgisayar destekli tasarım sistemi geliştirilmiştir. Sistem, standart yazılım paketleri ve amaca uygun geliştirilmiş programlardan oluşmaktadır. AutoCAD 2000; iş parçası geometrisi girişi, kalıp elemanları imalat ve montaj resimleri çıkışı için ve Microsoft Access 97; standart kalıp elemanları veri tabanı, malzeme veri tabanı ve gerekli tasarım veri tabanları için kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca otomatik şerit yerleşimi, kalıp elemanları seçimi ve tasarımı için Visual Basic programları geliştirilmiştir. Sistem CAD bağlantılı olup, herhangibir CAD ortamında tasarlanan iş parçası geometrisini kabul etmektedir. Sistem, Visual Basic ve AutoCAD ActiveX Automation üzerinde uygulanmış bir Kesme Kalıbı Tasarım Kuralları seti ile çalıştırılmaktadır. The system is a collection of integrated standard software packages and programs developed for special purposes. AutoCAD 2000 was used for the input of workpiece geometry, the output of the press tool parts and assembly drawings and Microsoft Access was used for the material database, standard press tool components database and required design databases. Furthermore Visual Basic programs were also developed for the layout and nesting of the workpiece, selection and design of press tool parts. The system has a CAD interface, therefore workpieces designed in any CAD environment can be used by the system. The system is fun by a set of press tool design rules implemented in both Visual Basic and AutoCAD ActiveX Automation. FARKLI CNC TORNA KODLARINI PROLOG DİLİ KULLANARAK BİRBİRİNE DÖNÜŞTÜRME SİSTEMİ (Yüksek Lisans Tezi) Mustafa KAYALI GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Ağustos 1996 ÖZET Gelişen teknoloji, piyasanın ihtiyacı olan değişik özellikte ve maliyette ürünler ortaya çıkarmıştır. Üretim sektöründe hayati öneme sahip olan takım tezgahlan, piyasada çok değişik işlevlerde ve özelliklerde mevcuttur.
