Spanish’s Hip Hop culture is an artistic phenomenon that through its different artistic elements (Graffiti, Deejayin’, Bboyin’, Emceein’) has contributed to open new horizons inside Spanish commercial mainstream. The product of this success wasn’t achieved without obstacles. While some artistic elements are praised, when expressed in the highest technical level, others, in their more aggressive vocal version, have become the reason for debates or even subject of discussion inside parliamentary sessions. The reading of this article deals with the phenomenon of Spanish’s Critical Rap and its events in the last years of the XXI century. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
