Research performed in China during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak shows that university students are at risk of higher levels of stress, depression, and anxiety disorder, and their satisfaction with life decreases. The study aims to examine mental health and well-being of undergraduates from different countries around the world. The cross-sectional survey study will examine general physical health, perceived stress, posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, satisfaction with life, physical activity, relational status, religiosity and spirituality, positive outcomes of the COVID-19 pandemic, perception of COVID-19 impact on students’ well-being, and exposure to the coronavirus disease. The status of the prevalence of the coronavirus disease in particular countries will be under control during the research. We will compare the well-being of undergraduates between countries from various regions of the world. Also, the association between variables will be analyzed to find universal determinants of mental health and well-being indices and also specific predictors for the particular countries.
