Abstract

In this paper, we discuss about the shortest arc length of circles that connected any two locations on the Earth. We assume the Earth as a perfect sphere with radius one. Using monotonicity of differentiable function, we can show that the circle with the center at the origin has the shortest arc length. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
