This study was planned to determine the sexual function and sexual satisfaction levels of pregnant women. This descriptive and correlation study was carried out on 152 pregnants who applied for control at a Gynecology and Obstetrics Polyclinic and the Obstetrics Service of a university hospital between August 2018 and February 2019. Participant Information Form, Female Sexual Function Index and Female Sexual Satisfaction Scale were used in the study. The data obtained from the research were analyzed in SPSS 21 program. In descriptive statistical methods; mean, standard deviation, frequency and percentage distribution, and to compare dependent and independent variables Kruskal Wallis H Test was used. The mean age of the pregnant women was 28.27 ± 5.41. The mean score of female sexual function was 19.95 ± 9.96 and 81.23 ± 16.17 from the Female Sexual Satisfaction Scale. When the total score and subscale mean scores of the female sexual function index of the pregnant women compared to trimesters were compared, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference only in the pain subscale; personal) subscale. As a result of the study, it was found that pregnant women experienced sexual dysfunction in the first and third trimesters. In addition, it was found that pregnant women especially complained of dyspareunia. In addition, it was observed that the pregnant women participating in the study had lower levels of sexual satisfaction, especially in the 1st and 3rd trimesters. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aimed to express the steps, importance, and benefits of sexual counseling given to women with sexual problems. Sexuality is a complicated process that is shaped by the interaction of many emotional, mental, and behavioral elements. Having a sexual relationship and being able to do it without any problems is an important aspect that affects women's quality of life. Studies on sexuality have improved rapidly within the last 20 years. However, due to such factors as condemnation, shyness, unawareness, misbeliefs, or limited opportunities, women with sexual problems may still fail to find solutions to their problems. Sexual counseling is the assistance provided to clients and couples to eliminate a lack of knowledge, correct wrong information and beliefs, and informing them about sexual myths. Aim: About sexual life changes experienced by women undergoing treatment for gynecological cancer of the change is determined with and lived to describe the impact on sexuality. Material-Method: In this study, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, endometrial, ovarian and cervical cancer diagnosed with and to determine surgical operations have undergone changes over 20 women's sexual life for cancer treatment is planned as a qualitative study using the phenomenological method.
