Abstract

Quantum‐dot cellular automata (QCA) is an emerging field‐coupled nanotechnology that promises to outperform existing CMOS technology. Single‐layer QCA designs of full adder, full subtractor, ripple carry adder, and ripple borrow subtractor is proposed.
