The decarbonization target, which has not been achieved since the signing of the Paris Agreement in 2016 on reducing world CO2 emissions, has not been taken ambitiously by the Indonesian government. It can be seen from the lack of participation of Indonesia in renewing its commitment to accelerate the reduction to zero percent carbon emissions. Then, what will be happened to the co-creation of the power system experts on this issue? This paper examines the role of power system experts in an ecosystem innovation capability to realize value co-creation. Quantitative methods are used after a preliminary observation to find variables, relationships, and research models. By the structural equation modeling methods using ADANCO software, this research finds a significant effect of ecosystem innovation capability towards value co-creation between the power system expert engineers. A good ecosystem that supports the capability to innovate continuously can foster co-creation among power system experts. This research has implications for the future development of a zero-carbon emission target in the Indonesian energy sector. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
