The article discusses the pancreatic metastases in patients with advanced cancer and in those with other primary malignancies. Particular focus is given to isolated pancreatic metastases which are rare and only account for about 2% of malignant pancreatic neoplasms. Surgical resection is associated with a 5-year survival rate in patients with renal cell carcinoma. An overview of a case of an old woman suffering from a colon cancer treated with endoscopic biliary stent is also illustrated.
