Photograph of the Hotel Willoughby on the corner of Fifth Street and Hill Street, Los Angeles, ca.1900. The Victorian-style high rise, which was owned by Mrs. E. Hollingsworth, is three stories tall and features a pointed spire at the top of its corner which reads along the rim "[...]ail Bath". Below "Willoughby Hotel" seems to have been written in the display windows to either side of the entrance, although it seems to be an edit added to the negative. A riderless horse-drawn carriage stands parked to the right side. The street is dirty and has streetcar tracks embedded in it. Other, smaller buildings can be seen behind the hotel. Other legible signs include: "Bicycles".

Photograph of Milton G. Cooper Dry Goods Company Building, 1900. At the center of the intersection, a large rectangular structure can be seen. The building consists of ten stories, and three columns of fire escapes can be seen along the sides of the structure. Along the base of the building, lines of automobiles can be seen. Several arches line the base of the building and frontal entryway, while rows of rectangular windows can be seen on the upper floors. Photograph of the Ramo-Wooldridge Corporation's research and development center, located just south of Los Angeles International Airport, 1900. A portion of the brick building stands on the right with an entire wall of glass which reveals the staircase and bright lights within. A small patch of grass with a thin tree standing at its center lies at center with the rest of the building behind it. The second, large portion of the building is two stories high with bands of windows across its walls and thin trees decorating its yards. This building "features functional and attractive contemporary design, as shown in this night-time photograph of portions of two of the divisional buildings".
