In this paper, we use the concept of quantum (or q -) calculus and define a q -analogous of a fractional differential operator and discuss some of its applications. We consider this operator to define new subclasses of uniformly q -starlike and q -convex functions associated with a new generalized conic domain, Λ β , q , γ . To begin establishing our key conclusions, we explore several novel lemmas. Furthermore, we employ these lemmas to explore some important features of these two classes, for example, inclusion relations, coefficient bounds, Fekete–Szego problem, and subordination results. In the past few years, many scholars gave much attention to the use of q-calculus in geometric functions theory, and they defined new subclasses of analytic and harmonic functions. While using the symmetric q-calculus in geometric function theory, very little work has been published so far. In this research, with the help of fundamental concepts of symmetric q-calculus and the symmetric q-Salagean differential operator for harmonic functions, we define a new class of harmonic functions connected with Janowski functions S H 0 ˜ m , q , A , B . First, we illustrate the necessary and sufficient convolution condition for S H 0 ˜ m , q , A , B and then prove that this sufficient condition is a sense preserving and univalent, and it is necessary for its subclass TS H 0 ˜ m , q , A , B . Furthermore, by using this necessary and sufficient coefficient condition, we establish some novel results, particularly convexity, compactness, radii of q-starlike and q-convex functions of order α , and extreme points for this newly defined class of harmonic functions. A number of families of q-extensions of analytic functions in the open unit disk U have been defined by means of basic (or q-)calculus and considered from many distinctive prospectives and viewpoints. In this paper, we generalize and study certain subclasses of analytic functions involving higher-order q-derivative operators. We settle characteristic equations for these presumably new classes and also study numerous coefficient inequalities. By making use of the concept of basic (or q-) calculus, many subclasses of analytic and symmetric q-starlike functions have been defined and studied from different viewpoints and perspectives. In this article, we introduce a new class of meromorphic multivalent close-to-convex functions with the help of a q-differential operator. Furthermore, we investigate some useful properties such as sufficiency criteria, coefficient estimates, distortion theorem, growth theorem, radius of starlikeness, and radius of convexity for this new subclass. In our present investigation, with the help of the basic (or q-) calculus, we first define a new domain which involves the Janowski function. We also define a new subclass of the class of q-starlike functions, which maps the open unit disk U , given by U =   z : z ∈ C   and   z   < 1 , onto this generalized conic type domain. We study here some such potentially useful results as, for example, the sufficient conditions, closure results, the Fekete-Szegö type inequalities and distortion theorems. We also obtain the lower bounds for the ratio of some functions which belong to this newly-defined function class and for the sequences of the partial sums. Our results are shown to be connected with several earlier works related to the field of our present investigation. Finally, in the concluding section, we have chosen to reiterate the well-demonstrated fact that any attempt to produce the rather straightforward (p , q) -variations of the results, which we have presented in this article, will be a rather trivial and inconsequential exercise, simply because the additional parameter p is obviously redundant. First, by making use of the concept of basic (or q-) calculus, as well as the principle of subordination between analytic functions, generalization R q (h) of the class R (h) of analytic functions, which are associated with the leaf-like domain in the open unit disk U , is given.
