Background To investigate the safety, efficacy, and follow-up outcomes of microwave ablation (MWA) in patients with breast fibroadenoma. Methods An institutional review board-approved this study of patients treated with MWA for breast fibroadenoma from October 2017 to March 2019. Clinical features of patients and breast fibroadenoma were analyzed. At follow-up all patients received physical examination and ultrasound imaging. Results In total, 171 patients with 271 lesions were enrolled. The mean lesion diameter was 1.35 ± 0.47 cm. The results revealed differential lesion states, including stability, enlargement, reduction, and complete regression, at 1-6, 6-12, and >12 months of follow-up. The size was reduced in 22.14% (31/140), 26.36% (29/110), and 36.36% (16/44) of the lesions at 1-6, 6-12, and >12 months of follow-up, respectively. The proportion of lesions with complete regression was 24.29% (34/140) at 1-6 months, 45.45% (50/110) at 6-12 months, and 40.91% (18/44) at >12 months of follow up. There was no significant relationship between the curative effect and age, lesion location, and blood flow in patients with breast fibroadenoma after MWA (p > .05), but there was statistically significant relationship with lesion diameter (categorized as

Background Sensitive skin manifests itself as a syndrome defined by the occurrence of unpleasant sensations such as stinging, burning, and pruritus. Though not life-threatening, it can negatively impact the quality of people's lives because of symptoms and clinical signs. Although some skin care products can alleviate symptoms of sensitive skin, a product that can improve multiple abnormalities of sensitive skin are largely unavailable. Aims To assess the efficacy of a newly developed herbal cream in reducing erythema. Methods A randomized double-blind and self-controlled trial was carried out on a total of 35 volunteers. The test cream (A) was applied topically to one side of the face twice-daily, while the control cream (B) was applied to the other side of the face. Parameters were evaluated prior to, 14, and 28 days after topical applications. Primary endpoints included changes in erythema area, erythema index (EI), and a* value. Transepidermal water loss rates (TEWL), stratum corneum (SC) hydration, and lactic acid sting test (LAST) score, as well as the L* value, served as secondary endpoints. Result Treatments with either cream A or B markedly reduced erythema area, EI, and a* value. Significant reductions in both TEWL and L* value were also observed following topical applications of either cream A or B. Moreover, cream A decreased LAST score. Finally, the satisfaction rate of cream A was higher than that of cream B. Conclusion The new herbal cream improves cutaneous biophysical properties in subjects with sensitive skin, especially in reducing erythema.

Consumer uncertainty about product valuation is a significant economic issue in online retailing. In many markets, even though the product quality information is completely disclosed, consumers may still remain unsure about their valuation-for-quality. This paper investigates the effects of consumers’ uncertain valuation-for-quality on a platform’s and a firm’s profits under commonly used wholesale price contract and consignment contract in a distribution channel. Our analysis reveals that regardless of the contract types, when the product quality is relatively low, both the platform and the firm benefit from a higher degree of informativeness of information; when the product quality is relatively high, however, the profits of both the platform and the firm show nonmonotonicity with respect to the informativeness degree (namely, first decrease then increase), which is driven by the joint effects of the value-enhancement effect and the segmentation effect incurred from the consumers’ uncertain valuation-for-quality. Additionally, we find that when the quality is of medium level, the firm and the platform may achieve a consensus on contract preferences on the wholesale price contract or the consignment contract, critically dependent on the informative degree.

Glioblastoma (GBM) is associated with an increasing mortality and morbidity and is considered as an aggressive brain tumor. Recently, extensive studies have been carried out to examine the molecular biology of GBM, and the progression of GBM has been suggested to be correlated with the tumor immunophenotype in a variety of studies. Samples in the current study were extracted from the ImmPort and TCGA databases to identify immune-related genes affecting GBM prognosis. A total of 92 immune-related genes displaying a significant correlation with prognosis were mined, and a shrinkage estimate was conducted on them. Among them, the 14 most representative genes showed a marked correlation with patient prognosis, and LASSO and stepwise regression analysis was carried out to further identify the genes for the construction of a predictive GBM prognosis model. Then, samples in training and test cohorts were incorporated into the model and divided to evaluate the efficiency, stability, and accuracy of the model to predict and classify the prognosis of patients and to identify the relevant immune features according to the median value of RiskScore (namely, Risk-H and Risk-L). In addition, the constructed model was able to instruct clinicians in diagnosis and prognosis prediction for various immunophenotypes.

Insulator detection using an infrared image is challenged by variance of temperature, orientations, and a cluttered background. A robust and discriminative representation of insulators in electric power systems is needed. This paper proposes a novel method for generating this type of representation in infrared images by taking advantage of high-level discriminative Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to feature the extraction framework and the deformation invariant nature of the Vector of Locally Aggregated Descriptors (VLAD) aggregator. Different from existing methods, we delve deep into the convolutional feature maps. We first extract deep activation maps from convolutional layers of a pretrained deep model and replace the last three fully-connected layers with a VLAD pooling layer to generate the representation of an insulator. Then, we train a Support Vector Machine (SVM) for binary classification. To further verify the effectiveness and robustness of our proposed feature, an insulator detection pipeline based on an object proposal is introduced. The experimental results show that our proposed method can achieve an accuracy of 93%. Meanwhile, the detection results demonstrate that our insulator detection pipeline has satisfied performance goals.

In China, demands for disease prevention and health care and the prevalence of chronic non-communicable diseases have increased. TCM and general hospitals are increasingly utilizing TCM strategies for chronic non-communicable disease care and prevention. This study aimed to investigate health care professionals' (HCPs') perceptions of TCM for prevention, their TCM knowledge, and their abilities to provide such services in TCM and general hospitals.This cross-sectional study investigated Chinese medicine hospitals and Chinese medicine departments in general hospitals in five Chinese cities. A self-designed questionnaire used to study 400 HCPs focused on basic demographic data, the demand for and effects of TCM for prevention and treatment, and their perceptions of such service implementation. The data analysis included chi-squared tests and descriptive and multi-factor analyses.The 335 HCP respondents comprised 230 (68.7%) females and 105 (31.3%) males, 75.5% of whom overall had knowledge of TCM preventive and health care services. Respondents older than 40 years (28.6%) had greater knowledge of and satisfaction with TCM for preventive and health care services than younger respondents. Moreover, 97.7% of the older respondents were clearly willing to provide TCM preventive services for chronic diseases, 67.8% of whom indicated that their hospitals already provided TCM for prevention and treatment. According to the chi-squared test results, the TCM service characteristics in hospitals, hospital outlooks regarding TCM and TCM development in hospitals were the primary factors affecting the respondents' perceptions of TCM for chronic disease care and prevention. The multivariate analysis showed high satisfaction as significantly associated with older providers and those with lengthier work experience, particularly among those who worked in hospitals that provided typical TCM services and had positive attitudes towards TCM.The study HCPs had relatively satisfactory knowledge of and positive attitudes towards TCM for chronic disease care and prevention and would use it in practice. Their perceptions and satisfaction levels correlated closely with the successful application of TCM for preventive care and treatment in hospitals. While the use of TCM for prevention and treatment was well developed in some hospitals, further improvements are warranted.

Introduction Throughout China, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is available alongside western medicine. The aim of this study was to investigate patients’ familiarity with, trust in, and willingness to pay for traditional Chinese medicine services for disease prevention and health care in Chinese community health centres, and to identify strategies for service improvement. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted, and a random sample of 599 patients were surveyed in community health care centres in five Chinese cities. Chi-square test, Kruskal-Wallis H test, and binary logistic analysis were used to identify factors associated with patients’ familiarity with, trust in, and willingness to pay for TCM services for disease prevention and health care. Results Of the participants, 84.5 % were familiar with TCM prevention and health care services with 62.1 % expressing their trust in these services. This was associated with the number of services provided locally in communities. Patients’ willingness to pay for TCM prevention and health care services was low and depended on patients’ ability to pay. Those having higher monthly incomes were more likely to pay for local services. Conclusions Most patients were familiar with and trusted TCM prevention and health care services, but they were less willing to pay for them. The health policymakers and the community health centres may need to take more measures to encourage and improve uptake of local services.

Deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) with alternating convolutional, pooling and decimation layers are widely used in computer vision, yet current works tend to focus on deeper networks with many layers and neurons, resulting in a high computational complexity. However, the recognition task is still challenging for insufficient and uncomprehensive object appearance and training sample types such as infrared insulators. In view of this, more attention is focused on the application of a pretrained network for image feature representation, but the rules on how to select the feature representation layer are scarce. In this paper, we proposed a new concept, the layer entropy and relative layer entropy, which can be referred to as an image representation method based on relative layer entropy (IRM_RLE). It was designed to excavate the most suitable convolution layer for image recognition. First, the image was fed into an ImageNet pretrained DCNN model, and deep convolutional activations were extracted. Then, the appropriate feature layer was selected by calculating the layer entropy and relative layer entropy of each convolution layer. Finally, the number of the feature map was selected according to the importance degree and the feature maps of the convolution layer, which were vectorized and pooled by VLAD (vector of locally aggregated descriptors) coding and quantifying for final image representation. The experimental results show that the proposed approach performs competitively against previous methods across all datasets. Furthermore, for the indoor scenes and actions datasets, the proposed approach outperforms the state-of-the-art methods.

A simple off-grid photovoltaic system consists of at least photovoltaic cells, solar controllers and batteries. The photoelectric conversion efficiency of photovoltaic cells, the efficiency of solar controllers and the accuracy of maximum power tracking algorithms directly affect the utilization of solar energy of photovoltaic system. But in the fixed state of each product characteristic of the system, the management mode between the components will play an important role in the utilization rate of the solar energy system. This paper proposes an intelligent line device, which can adjust the arrangement of photovoltaic cells and the working state of solar controllers according to the inherent characteristics of existing system configurations, so that the system can work in an optimal state for a longer period of time. The test data of the off-grid PV site with 18KW photovoltaic cells shows that the device can accurately identify and isolate faulty photovoltaic cells. The use of the intelligent line device on sunny and cloudy days can increase about 1.0Kwh and 1.8Kwh of the solar power generation on average..

The traditional heat dissipation methods for base station outdoor cabinets include direct ventilation, heat exchangers, air conditioners, etc. The independent heat dissipation methods have problems such as limited temperature range and poor heat dissipation effect. The system control effect of a new integrated heat dissipation method described in this paper is better than that of the unilateral direct ventilation or air conditioning heat dissipation method, and the maintenance of components such as air conditioners is reduced, and the service life of the air conditioner is increased. After cost comparison, the new integrated cooling system CAPEX may be slightly higher, but OPEX has dropped significantly; energy consumption has also decreased obviously.

This paper is designed for the site of hybrid energy power system of solar and diesel generator. Referring to the site survey information, we propose an optimized configuration method which includes solar photovoltaic panel capacity, battery capacity and diesel generator capacity for the hybrid power system. The optimized configuration method reduce the initial investment of the investors. After analysis of historical data of a large number of hybrid sites, we also propose an intelligent control strategy to achieve the goal of zero discarding solar energy to maximize the use of solar energy, and reduce the running time of diesel generator. And then the maintenance costs of the operator are reduced.

So in the teaching of Digital Signal Processing, we must take the theory as the guide, take the practice as the center, strengthen the innovation of the teaching mode, and deal with the relationship between theory teaching and practice teaching. In view of the course, we introduce the Fuzzy Cognitive Diagnosis Framework (FuzzyCDF), propose a new teaching effect assessment method. By collecting the theoretical examination and experimental results of students, using the method of data mining fit out test parameter analysis, combining with FuzzyCDF to get master degree of theoretical knowledge and practice ability, then according to the experimental results, give objective and scientific evaluation and provide good advice to improve the quality of teaching.

We consider a communication problem in which a transmitter encodes a source into several streams that are subject to modification by an omniscient adversary while en route. We design encodings with a distortion guarantee that degrades gradually as the number of streams that the adversary alters increases. Notably, we find that a mixture of highly redundant coding and uncoded transmission outperforms schemes that protect all of the transmitted data against adversarial attack. This finding is confirmed both theoretically and experimentally.

Insulator is the most common equipment in power system, and the recognition of insulator in infrared image is affected seriously under unconstrained condition with angle change. Due to the insulators’ angle diversification and the manually-designed features’ limitation, the existing algorithms have a problem of low accuracy in classification; therefore how to obtain the rotation invariant representations to cope with these adverse conditions is a very important problem. Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNNs) have established a remarkable performance in image classification. The deep features obtained at the top fully-connected layer of the DCNNs (FC-features) exhibit rich global semantic information and are extremely effective in image classification. In this paper, we present a rotation invariant representation generation method named PFE-FDS (Parallel Feature Extraction and Feature Dimension Selection) for infrared insulator recognition which is based on parallel DCNNs FC-features extraction as well as feature sorting and dimension selection based on mutual information to eliminate redundancy. Then the SVM (Support Vector Machine) classifier is trained on our standard infrared insulator dataset for classification. The experimental accuracy shows that the PFE-FDS can improve the accuracy of multi-angle object recognition.

Aberrant expression and/or activity of the non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase SFK (Src family kinase) members are commonly observed in progressive stages of human tumours. The aim of the present study was to investigate whether Src is a potential drug target for treating oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Compared with the human immortalized oesophageal epithelial cell line SHEE, oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma cells have increased tyrosine phosphorylation activities. We have explored the therapeutic potential of dasatinib, a small-molecule inhibitor that targets multiple cytosolic and membrane-bound tyrosine kinases, for the treatment of oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma. We examined that the effects of dasatinib on proliferation, invasion, apoptosis, spindle checkpoint, cell-cycle arrest and kinase activity in vitro using three human oesophageal carcinoma cell lines KYSE30, KYSE180 and EC109. In nude mouse models, dasatinib treatment effectively inhibited the expression of activated Src, resulting in the inhibition of tumour growth. Multiple drug effect isobologram analysis was used to study interactions with the chemotherapeutic drug docetaxel. As expected, the three oesophageal carcinoma cell lines were highly sensitive to dasatinib, but SHEE cells were not sensitive to this drug. Concentration-dependent anti-proliferative effects of dasatinib were observed in the three oesophageal carcinoma cell lines. Dasatinib significantly inhibited oesophageal carcinoma cell invasion and up-regulation of MAD2 (mitotic arrest-deficient 2), as well as inducing cell apoptosis and cell-cycle arrest. Additive and synergistic interactions were observed for the combination of dasatinib and docetaxel. Therefore it was concluded that dasatinib blocks the G1/S transition and inhibits cell growth. These results provided a clear biological rationale to test dasatinib as a single agent or in combination with chemotherapy in oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Moreover, we have shown in vitro and in vivo that dasatinib might have therapeutic benefit for patients with oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma who are not eligible for surgery.

Objective: The purpose of the study was to evaluate clinical presentation of breast cancer anti-estrogen resistance protein 1 (BCAR1, also known as p130cas) expression in pulmonary diseases, and to assess its potential as a molecular marker for diagnosis and prognosis. Methods: Between March 2008 and August 2010, we enrolled a total of 80 patients (group A) with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), 48 patients (group B) with pulmonary tuberculosis (including 27 cases of tuberculoma and 21 cases of cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis), and 32 patients (group C) with other benign pulmonary mass (hamartoma in 15 cases, inflammatory pseudotumor in 10 cases, fibroid tumor in 7 cases). Additionally, 160 healthy age- and sex-matched volunteers were recruited as healthy controls. Tissue BCAR1 expression was investigated by using tissue microarray and immunohistochemistry. BCAR1 and tumor markers (carcinoma embryonic antigen [CEA] and the cancer antigens CA19-9 and CA125) in serum were assayed by using ELISA and immunoradiometrics, respectively. Results: BCAR1 expression was detected (either in the nucleus, the cytoplasm, or both) in tumor cells in 79 of the 80 NSCLC cases in group A, and in fibroblasts in 41 of the 48 pulmonary tuberculosis cases in group B. However, it was not detected in the normal adjacent tissue in 70 of the 80 cases in group A and in 47 of the 48 cases in group B. In group C, BCAR1 expression was negative in all 32 cases. Additionally, we investigated adjacent tissue with acute or chronic inflammation in 20 cases from group C, and found no expression of BCAR1. Serum BCAR1 levels were significantly higher in patients with NSCLC than in the control group, increased gradually with the progression of tumor staging, and decreased after removal of the tumors. Conservatism are regarded as a fundamental characteristic to measure financial statements, and board independence is viewed as an important tool among corporate governance. Both of them have been academic focuses. The paper examines the impact the independence of board of directors has on accounting conservatism, with the data of all the listed companies of A share market in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2007 to 2009. The results demonstrate that in generally, listed companies in China have accounting conservatism in their accounting policies. Moreover, the increasing percentage of independent directors in the board benefits the improvement of accounting conservatism. However, CEO/Chairman separation won't work on that.

Technology entrepreneurship that is based on high-level or applicable technology is a transformation of inventions and innovation into entrepreneurial performance through the allocation of resources in a unique way. It's an emerging hot spot in the study of entrepreneurship. Technology entrepreneurship education is an education system with the objective of developing technology entrepreneurs' competence and comprehensive quality. In this essay, a technology entrepreneurship education system that is based on interdisciplinary modularized synthesis and consistent training in and out of school is proposed with the aim of breaking through the bottleneck of current situation, and exploring an effective designing mechanism and a comprehensive quality cultivation system. This mode is tested by the practice of entrepreneurship education in Zhejiang University City College for many years. It has made great achievement since its close connection with the external network of supportive policy to college students in Hangzhou.

This pilot study was designed to evaluate the clinical value of assaying tumor supplied group of factor/tumor specific growth factor (TSGF) in solitary pulmonary nodule (SPN).The study was conducted from March 2007 to September 2010 and included 33 patients with SPN and 28 healthy volunteers. TSGF was assayed in preoperative serum, intraoperative pleural lavage fluid (IPLF), and postoperative serum.At operation, 20 patients were diagnosed with malignancy and 13 patients were diagnosed with nonmalignancy and placed in group A and group B, respectively. In group A, pathologic staging demonstrated 8 patients (group A1) with stage T1N0M0, 7 patients (group A2) with stage T1N1M0 and 53 patients (group A) with stage T1N2M0 disease. In group B, 8 patients were diagnosed with tuberculoma (group B1) and 5 patients were diagnosed with inflammatory pseudotumor (group B2). Before operation, levels of TSGF in peripheral blood were significantly higher in group A compared with group B and the control group (98.8 ± 29.9 vs. 62.1 ± 24.9 and 50.1 ± 17.9, Student-Newman-Keuls test; P.05). The percentage of patients with positive serum TSGF results was significantly higher in group A than in group B or the control group (90.0% vs. 30.8% and 17.9%, χ(2) test; P.05). With respect to the diagnostic value of serum TSGF in malignant SPN, we found sensitivity to be 90%, specificity to be 69.2%, positive forecast rate to be 74.5%, negative forecast rate to be 87.4%, and accurate diagnosed rate to be 79.5%. The TSGF level in IPLF in group A was significantly higher than that in group B (132.2 ± 51.9 vs. 84.6 ± 12.6, Student t test, P.05). Additionally, TSGF in group A2 and group A3 was significantly higher compared with group A1 (162.2 ± 52.3 and 176.4 ± 17.8 vs. 100.2 ± 35.8, Student-Newman-Keuls test; P.05). Postoperative serum TSGF in the patients diagnosed with lung cancer decreased significantly after operation. TSGF returned to a normal threshold level (71 U/mL) in the sixth month postoperatively. In addition, there was no appreciable change in the patients in group B.Serum TSGF is conducive to discriminating between benign and malignant features of SPN. Additionally, investigation of IPLF TSGF can potentially offer a new approach to predict the existence of lymph node metastases.

Technology entrepreneurship education is an education system with the objective of developing technology entrepreneurs' competence and comprehensive quality. Taking the practice of entrepreneurship education in Zhejiang University City College as an example, this essay constructs a modularized education system that aims at developing certain entrepreneurial qualities through decomposing the dimensions of technology entrepreneurial qualities. By constructing and connecting the links of modularized entrepreneurship cultivation system, schools can effectively integrate multi-disciplinary resources of technology entrepreneurship education and social business network to meet the high requirement of business skills, knowledge content and comprehensive ability, to improve the efficiency of the transformation of scientific and technological resources into business, and eventually, to increase the success rate of technology entrepreneurship.

This paper aims to study the psychological factors on distance education (DE) for undergraduates. Over the past 9 years, a Sino-Australia joint program (approved by Ministry of Education) has been running in Zhejiang University City College, in which is combined face-to-face learning and learning via Internet. A self-designed questionnaire was employed to carry out the investigation among 115 fourth year students selected randomly from joint programs. It consists of 45 items in two parts: demographic background (12) and individual factors affecting students learning (33). Statistical analyses yield findings. This paper is an attempt to investigate personal factors and general factors on Chinese students' learning via Internet with the intent of providing information and reflection for those who are teaching in similar mode in China.

The sales effectiveness in two separated price promotion routines is analyzed, according to the sales amounts, sales quatites, profits and the number of tissue buyers in this supermarket chain. The results are significative for retail industries and marketing research.

The data structure with non-hierarchical brings a lot of inconvenience to the analysis and research. In this paper, the regional economic data analysis and mining platform based on On-Line Analytical Mining (OLAM) has been studied, which provides a more convenient and efficient analytical model.
