This paper deals with the performance analysis of a 50KWp rooftop grid-connected PV system. The result obtained after the analysis is presented in the written and graphical forms. The installed grid system has an average yearly final array of 3.9h/D. The average yearly inverter efficiency is 91.39% which is among the best. The installed PV system will mitigate carbon dioxide emission by 1538 tons. According to IISc data, this installation is equivalent to planting 2460 Teak trees over a lifetime. The presented grid system has a system efficiency of 12.15% and it generates electricity output equivalent to 42.907 kW. For the performance analysis, the graphs are plotted with the help of Sigma plot, MS-Excel, and MATLAB software.
