BACKGROUND: A good nutritional status will improve health for average growth and physical development, and intelligence. The prevalence of schoolchildren (5–12 years) with malnutrition status based on brachial fat area is 11.2%, and the number of elementary schoolchildren with malnutrition status in Cibereum village is 107 students. The government has a School Child Supplement Program to meet schoolchildren’s dietary needs. It is necessary to have additional food for schoolchildren to improve their nutritional status, especially for students with low nutritional quality. AIM: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of carrot catfish dumplings on the bodyweight of elementary school students with poor nutritional status as a form of supplementary food for schoolchildren. METHODS: Researchers conducted this study in January 2020 at Elementary Schools at the Cibereum Health Center (SDN Cibeureum 5, Cibeureum 7, and Cibereum Mandiri 2) with a sample of 25 people. The research design used is quasi-experimental using one-group pretest-posttest and statistical tests using the Wilcoxon test. RESULTS: The research test results showed that carrot catfish dumplings affected elementary school students’ body weight with low nutritional status. CONCLUSION: Carrot catfish dumplings can increase students’ energy intake and protein intake so that there is an increase in the average body weight of the sample by 0.55 kg. Suggestions for further research to conduct a similar study using a control group as the comparison group.

In patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (Type 2 DM), glycemic control plays an essential role in reducing macro- and microvascular complications. The earliest marker for diabetic nephropathy is the presence of albuminuria. Meanwhile, HbA 1c has been recognized as a marker of glycemic control in the blood. This study aimed to identify the correlation between HbA 1c and albuminuria in type 2 DM. This was a cross-sectional study involving 100 patients with type 2 DM aged 40–70 years visiting Dr. Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia. Secondary data from medical records of type 2 DM patients undergoing HbA 1c and albuminuria examinations from January to December 2015 were used. The mean age of subjects was 55.4 ±8.7 years, with the majority (55%) being of female gender. The mean HbA 1c concentration was 9.8±2.4%. Most subjects (83%) had an HbA 1c level of ≥7 %. Albuminuria was found in the majority of the subjects (78%), where 33% of them had positive 1 albuminuria. Background: Uses of HbA1c compared with glycated albumin as an indicator of glycemic control for hemodialysis patients(HD) needs to be evaluated. HbA1c has some limitations when used for HD because its results can falsely low or falsely high. It can be missunderstood if clinicians use HbA1c as glycemic control. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate correlation between HbA1c and GA in HD patients with Diabetes Mellitus (DM). Methods: This study was a cross sectional study conducted on November 2016 until January 2017. Its samples were obtained from 43 patients in HD with DM, fullfilling inclusion and exclusion criteria, located in a private hospital at east Jakarta. BackgroundDiabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease with a large incidence in the world and constitutes a global health problem. By 2030 it is estimated that there will be around 439 million people suffering from DM. Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease caused by a lack or absence of the hormone insulin. In type 2 DM pharmacotherapy can be given one of which is insulin. To monitor therapy, random blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and glycated albumin (GA) levels can be examined. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship of glycated albumin and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) with random blood glucose in insulin-treated diabetics.MethodsA cross-sectional study was conducted involving 92 type 2 diabetic patients treated with insulin. The study used a questionnaire and blood samples. We measured the GA , HbA1C and random blood glucose levels. A multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data. ResultsMean HbA1c was 9.21 ± 2.15%, mean glycated albumin was 24.4 ± 8.65%, and mean blood glucose was 229.47 ± 98.7 mg/dL. Multiple linear regression tests showed that HbA1c (B= 5,544; â=0.121; p=0.420) and GA (B=5.899; â=0.517; p=0.001) was signigicantly corelated with random blood gucose, respectively, indicating that glycated albumin is significantly related to and has the greatest influence on glucose level.ConclusionGlycated albumin is correlated with and has greater influence on glucose level than does HbA1c. Glycated albumin could be a better marker for glycemic control than glycated hemoglobin in diabetic patients treated with insulin.

This study aims to test the effect of profitability, liquidity, and solvency to the audit opinion going concern. Testing was conducted at 125 sample of the company service sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2015-2019. This type of research is associative research that aims to know the effect of profitability, liquidity, and solvency on audit opinion going concern. The type of research data is quantitative data with secondary data obtained from the company’s financial statements accessed through the website official IDX and each sample company. Data processing techniques using logistic regression analysis methods with IBM SPSS software application 25. The result of this study indicate that profitability and liquidity have not significant effect on the audit opinion going concern, while but solvency has an significant effect on the audit opinion going concern. Research results can implications for corporate managers, auditors, investors, and creditors in making decisions and analyzing financial condition of the company that was threatened to get audit opinion going concern where it can establish the right policy for the condition.

This service aims to make savings and loan cooperatives in the Welfare Environment easy to access bank credit through the implementation of a computer-based accounting information system in the process of preparing financial reports and this becomes a pilot model in developing financial statement applications for other types of cooperatives in the city of Mataram. This service method consists of: 1) the first stage where the creation of a computer application for managing the financial statements of savings and loan cooperatives. With this application, it will be easier for administrators to make cooperative financial reports. 2) the second stage, where computer application training for the management of cooperative financial reports. This assistance is carried out in one of the houses of the cooperative management in the Perumnas Welfare environment using their respective laptops and also the assistants visit one of the administrators in their respective homes to be given assistance. This assistance is carried out for a day with 9 cooperative managers from 9 RTs in the Welfare Environment. This mentoring activity went smoothly. All participants enthusiastically followed the event to the end. Participants also considered that this assistance was important and indispensable for cooperative management. Participants hope to be followed up by providing more assistance so that the management can apply the preparation of cooperative financial reports using excel.

Latar Belakang : Kanker serviks atau kanker leher rahim merupakan kanker pembunuh nomor dua di dunia. Pemerintah telah berupaya untuk mengatasi kanker serviks dengan metode inspeksi visual asam asetat (IVA). Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi seseorang untuk melakukan IVA antara lain pengetahuan, sikap, budaya dan dukungan petugas kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan faktor yang mempengaruhi wanita usia subur (WUS) yang pernah melakukan pemeriksaan IVA dan belum pernah tes IVA. Metode : mengguanakan analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional . Jumlah sampel sebanyak 108 wanita usia subur dengan teknik purposive sampling yang memnuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Untuk mengetahui tingkat signifikan, data yang terkumpul akan diuji statistik Chi-Square dan Fisher Exact Test pada tingkat kemaknaan 0,05. Hasil: faktor yang memiliki perbedaan yang bermakna antara wanita usia subur yang pernah melakukan dan belum pernah melakukan pemeriksaan IVA antara lain pengetahuan ( p= 0,002), Budaya ( p = 0,021), dukungan petugas kesehatan ( p= 0,010). Sedangkan sikap ( p = 1,000) tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna. Kesimpulan: perbedaan faktor yang mempengaruhi WUS yang pernah dan belum pernah tes IVA di wilayah puskesmas Sidotopo adalah pengetahuan, budaya dan dukungan petugas kesehatan. Abstract Background : Cervical cancer is the second leading deathly woman disease in the world. The Indonesian government has been trying through visual inspection of the cervix with acetic acid (VIA). There are some factors influencing women to undergo VIA such as knowledge, behaviour, culture and the support of medical workers. Thus, this research was aimed at finding significance differences among reproductive women undergoing and not undergoin g. Method : This research employed Observational Analytic using cross sectional approach. The s ample of this research was 10 8 women of reproductive age . Purposive sampling was employed as a technique which met inclusion and eksclusion criteria. To be able to find out the significance, the data collected was tested in the statistical test chi square of 0.05 significance level. Result : Factors like knowledge (p= 0,002), culture (p= 0,021), and support of medical workers (p= 0,010) showed significance difference among reproductive women undergoing and not undergoing VIA while behaviour (p= 1,000) showed no significance difference. Conclusion : the differences among reproductive women undergoing and not undergoin gVIA in region of puskesmas Sidotopo was knowledge, culture and the support of medical workers.

Islamic Philanthropic Institutions must report the results of managing zakat, infaq, and alms to gain the trust of the community so that the potential for zakat, infaq, and alms collected is much greater because of the community's trust in these institutions. Therefore this study aims to determine the extent of the level of accountability in the financial transparency of the Islamic Philanthropic Institution in Indonesia as seen based on website data. This type of research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 24 National Islamic Philanthropic Institutions that already have a Registered Certificate (SKT). Determination of the number of samples using the census method. The results of this study state that in terms of accessibility, the national Islamic philanthropy website is very accountable, meaning that the majority of Islamic Philanthropy has a website so that people can access information on Islamic Philanthropy financial statements and in terms of availability of financial reports, there are national Islamic philanthropic websites that are sufficiently accountable, are the statement of financial position and statement of changes in funds and some are less accountable, are statement of changes in managed assets and cash flow statement and there are those that are very less accountable, is notes to financial statements.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of e-commerce and the use of accounting information systems in making entrepreneurial decisions. This study used the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and contingency theory where this theory will be able to explain the acceptance of a technology and the relationship between the application of the used of accounting information systems and e-commerce to influence the behavior of students majoring in Accounting in entrepreneurship. The population in this study were active accounting undergraduate students who have taken entrepreneurship courses and accounting information systems for PTN and PTS in the city of Mataram. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method, data were collected by 142 distributed questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used the PLS 3.0 smart application.The results of the study indicate that the e-commerce has a positive and insignificant effect on decision making of accounting students in entrepreneurship and the accounting information system has a significant positive effect on decision making of accounting students in entrepreneurship.

LATAR BELAKANG Dekade terakhir menunjukkan neck pain pada remaja semakin meningkat, bersamaan dengan meningkatnya penggunaan gawai (gadget). Seiring perkembangan zaman, gawai menjadi kebutuhan dan gaya hidup masyarakat luas. Pelajar menjadi pasar terbesar dalam penggunaan gawai sehubungan dengan kebutuhan belajar yang memerlukan akses Internet. Salah satu faktor penyebab neck pain pada pengguna gawai adalah intensitas penggunaan gawai yang mempengaruhi lamanya posisi fleksi pada otot leher. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan intensitas pemakaian gawai dengan neck pain pada usia 15-20 tahun. METODE Penelitian ini merupakan studi observasional dengan desain cross sectional yang mengikutsertakan 164 pelajar SMAN 28 Jakarta dan Fakultas Hukum Universitas Trisakti. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara pengisian kuesioner yang meliputi usia, jenis kelamin, intensitas pemakaian gawai dan keluhan neck pain. Penilaian neck pain menggunakan NRS (Numeric Rating Scale). Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Chi-square dengan tingkat kemaknaan p56 jam/minggu dijumpai pada 109 subjek (66.5%). Keluhan neck pain dijumpai pada 138 subjek (84.1%). Uji Chi-square menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara intensitas penggunaan gawai dengan neck pain pada usia 15-20 tahun dengan nilai p=0.004. KESIMPULAN Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara intensitas penggunaan gawai dengan neck pain pada usia 15-20 tahun.

Introduction: Quality of life is a significant aspect of care among the elderly with HIV/AIDS. The aging process affects their physical, physiological, and social function. Depression due to perceived stigma from the community also influences their quality of life. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between depression and stigma on the quality of life among the elderly with HIV/AIDS. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study employed 67 participants were selected by purposive sampling. Results: Results showed that the majority of participants experienced depression (64.2%) and stigma (76.1%), but they are still classified on good quality of life category (64.2%). Analysis showed that there was a significant correlation between quality of life and depression, & and stigma (p=0.021, p=0.031, α=0.05). Result from logistic regression statistical analysis also revealed that stigma and depression affected the poor quality of life after controlled by gender, occupational status, education, clinical stadium, comorbidities, duration of disease, living and marital status, with the p-value 0.029 and 0.014 (CI=95%), respectively. Conclusion: Promotive and preventive efforts required to be implemented in reducing stigma on the elderly with HIV/AIDS. Screening program also would help prevent depression among this vulnerable group.

The purpose of the 2013 Curriculum which is regulated by the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 67 of 2013 is to prepare Indonesian people to have the ability to be faithful, productive, creative, innovative, affective and able to contribute to life. In processing values in the 2013 Curriculum, there are 3 (three) assessments such as assessment of students' attitudes, assessment of knowledge, assessment of skills, this is expected to form student character from an early age. However, in the application of the processing, there are several obstacles including some basic competencies that need to be inputted and this takes a long time, besides that the teacher's lack of understanding of IT becomes a challenge when the teacher wants to input data into the system. In the study, the authors used data collection methods such as observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. Meanwhile, to evaluate the value processing system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with 4 parameters such as Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude Toward using, Behavioral Intention To Use. This method results in showing users believe that the value processing information system with the 2013 curriculum can provide benefits and uses. indicates the user feels confident enough that the system being used is easier to use and operate. shows the great curiosity of the user to use the system. indicates that there is a desire to continue using the system and there is a desire to influence other users to use the system.

Introduction: Asthma is a reversible disease characterized by airway obstruction which tends to relapse due to certain factors. Asthma required adequate management to minimalize the frequently of the symptoms occurred and not become a burden for its sufferers. Pursed-Lip breathing (PLB) is an effective breathing technique used in managing asthma symptoms. This study aimed to know the difference in the respiratory rate (RR) before and after the PLB exercise on the asthma patients in Pulmonary Clinic, TNI AU dr. M Salamun Bandung Hospital. Method: A quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group approach was used for this experiment. Of 106 asthma patients, 51 patients who met the inclusion criteria were chosen to participate in this study. The participants were asked to do a PLB exercise based on the standard operating procedure of PLB provided by the researcher. Based on the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia – Article 37 of 2009 verse 8 states that a lecturer profession obliges to a minimum of 12 and maximum of 16 teaching credits in every semester according to his/her academic qualifications. Todays, Institute of Information Management and Computer Science (STMIK) Widuri has been applying a sharing knowledge process amid lecturers with the intention to assist them in academic position ladder management. However, problems are found during its implementation. First problem is infrequentTri Dharma practices (three principles of higher education; education, research and contribution to society)and reports being submitted by lecturers; the condition has resulted a statistic of STMIK active lecturers in general to decrease to 41.6%. Lack of information regarding Tri Dharma practices and its administrations known by its lecturers is the one missed to solve; a lecturer does not comprehensively understand what the stages are required in order to administer their academic position ladder. Second issue is there has been no media to facilitate lecturers to spread and share the knowledge and experience with the other fellow lecturers that the process of levelling up their academic tenures or positions become hampered. This means, the slower the process the longer it takes for them to move up to the next academic position ladder. As this is the case, the researchers propose aprototype of knowledge management system (KMS) utilizing SECI methodand gathering data through interviews, observations as well as literature studies. Software used is User Acceptance Test (UAT). Furthermore, the research has come up with a web-based KSM prototype with test percentage result76%; this means the system is accepted and matched the expectation.

BackgroundMenopause is associated with changes in metabolic profile. Although hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been shown to have beneficial effects on lipid metabolism, its adverse effects have indicated a need for alternative estrogen-based treatments. Several investigations have evaluated the effects of isoflavones on serum lipid levels in postmenopausal women, but the results were ambiguous. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship of dietary daidzein, genistein, and glycitein levels with lipid profile in postmenopausal women.MethodsA cross-sectional study was conducted involving 186 post-menopausal women. A food recall questionnaire was used to measure dietary genistein, daidzein, and glycitein levels. Serum total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, and triacylglycerol (TAG) were measured using the enzymatic colorimetric method. Simple and multivariate linear regression were used to analyze the data.ResultsGenistein intake was significantly associated with TC (b=145.48, p=0.023) and HDL cholesterol levels (b=48.80, p=0.032). Daidzein intake was significantly associated with TC (b=-204.60, p=0.003), LDL cholesterol (b=-160.81, p=0.014) and HDL cholesterol levels (b=-67.118, p=0.032). Glycitein was not significantly associated with TC (b=232.78;p=0.133), HDL (b=43.59;p=0.428), and LDL (b=235.84;p=0.116). Dietary daidzein had a more lowering effect on TC (Beta=-2.80) and HDL cholesterol (Beta=-2.67) than had genistein on TC (Beta=2.66) and HDL cholesterol (Beta=2.03).ConclusionsHigh dietary daidzein level has a significant lowering effect on TC, LDL cholesterol and HDL cholesterol in post-menopausal women. Our study supports the advice given to the public to increase soy isoflavone intake in post-menopausal women.

It has been estimated that deficiency and insufficiency of Vitamin D affect one bilion people worldwide. Vitamin D deficiency can befound not only in countries with four (4) seasons, but also in countries with sunlight exposure all year long The objective of this studywas to know whether vitamin D deficiency can occur in Indonesia as well and to explore the role of vitamin D in people‘s health, althoughIndonesia is a country in the equator region. To avoid long term negative health consequences 25 hydroxyvitamin D/25 (OH) D serumlevel should be between 30 and 100 ng/mL. The main source of vitamin D is by synthesis at the skin which is exposed to ultraviolet Bradiation. The other source of vitamin D is from food. There are a lot of causes of vitamin D deficiency, for example: decreased vitaminD synthesis, nutritional intake of vitamin D, maternal vitamin D stores and exclusive breastfeeding, mal absorption and decreasedsynthesis or increased degradation of 25 (OH) D. From the above factors, decreased vitamin D synthesis is the main cause of vitamin Ddeficiency. The vitamin D deficiency is estimated and plays an important role in multiple disorders, such as: osteoporosis, fracture, cancer,cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, autoimmune disease and infectious disease. A good strategy in managing vitamin D deficiencyis needed in order to solve the related problems.

Concerning the development of a company, the interaction between customers and the company is essential. In this case, the use of technology-based systems for customers will significantly increase customer spending. Therefore, the company must create a system based on service technology that allows customers to obtain information or other knowledge from the company quickly. The system known as E-business is part of technology development, especially in the SMEs environment. This research is initial research in making the concept of integration between e-business and technology acceptance model. The result is an integration model with a complete discussion of the supporting variables and indicators. The model development results will be continued by assessing all variables and indicators in the following research.

The research aims to find out the basic structure module based on hybrid learning needed by the students of Ikip Budi Utomo Malang in learning structure, especially basic structure. The current study was a need analysis which was done in the area of developing making basic structure module based on hybrid learning. The quantitative method were conducted in this research to describe the students’ needs. In collecting the data, the researcher applied questionnaire for the students as the instrument of the research. The data was taken through a questionnaire with given to 45 students who took basic structure course in the 2018-2019 academic year and analyzed quantitatively. The results of this study reveal that the students need a clear goals of basic structure modul based on hybrid learning, the materials in line with the course outline, the assignment and current technology for the teaching and learning process. &nbsp

Rationale: Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA) 3, also known as Machado-Joseph Disease (MJD), is a neurodegenerative disease which involves cerebellum and its afferent and efferent pathways. Generally, the initial symptoms were gait disturbance, double vision, dysarthria, and vertigo. Patient concerns: a 43-year-old male, with known SCA3, presented hereditary ataxia had mild numbness in his both palms since two years ago. Sensory examination found no abnormality. Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) showed severe axonal demyelinating sensorimotor peripheral neuropathy. In magnetic resonance imaging atrophy cerebellum with cerebral multiple lacunar infarction were seen. Diagnoses: SCA3 was diagnosed on the basis of clinical features, family pedigree, physical examination, electrophysiology study, neuroimaging, nerve biopsy, and genetic testing results. The electrophysiological manifestations revealed profound axonal demyelinating lesion in peripheral nerves. Genetic analysis was not done yet due to lack of availability of genetic testing in our country at this moment although it is the gold standard for diagnosis. Lessons: SCA3 with peripheral neuropathy represents a specific clinical entity that so far has never been described previously in Indonesia. Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA) is an autosomal dominant hereditary disease with progressive course, and no causal therapy. Diagnostics are still challenging, due to facility and protocols, and so as in Indonesia. As a national referral center, Dr. Hasan Sadikin Central General Hospital has received a lot of patients from all over Indonesia, particularly from Western Java. Study related to SCA (including clinical and genetic profile) is still limited in Indonesia. We identified index patients from three families with ataxia, hence intend to determine their clinical and genetic pattern. The hereditary pattern is autosomal dominant. Scale for the assessment and rating of ataxia (SARA) shows mild and moderate ataxia. Inventory of non-ataxia signs (INAS) scores of the patients were 3, 5 and 6. Montreal cognitive assessment-Indonesian version (MOCA-INA) shows only one patient has mild cognitive impairment, despite young age. Barthel index shows 1 subject has moderate dependency. Mutation in Ataxin3 polyQ repeats shows pathologically long CAG repeats, 72,10; 72,10; and 72,23 respectively in mutant and wild type allele. We diagnosed the index patients with spinocerebellar ataxia type 3. This study is the first case series study in Indonesia. The hereditary pattern is clearly shown as an autosomal dominant ataxia. The clinical and genetic profile was varied, and the symptom is progressive and deteriorates overtime, including wide based gait, speech problem, motor and sensor complaint, and cognitive decline complaint. Despite the same polyQ stretch length, the onset and clinical characteristics of patients are diverse., Autosomal dominant, Familial ataxia, Indonesia, Polyglutamine, Spinocerebellar ataxia.

The distribution of a species can help guide the protection activities in their natural habitat. Conversely, the lack of information on this distribution makes the protection strategy of this species difficult. The research was conducted in Way Canguk Research Station, Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park from January until March 2018. The purposes of this research were to create a distribution prediction map of Sunda pangolin (Manis javanica) and estimating the environment variables that most influenced the probability of the distribution. Fourteen points of camera trap coordinates were used for presence data with nine types of environment variables such as elevation, slope, understorey, canopy cover, distance from roads, distance from rivers, distance from villages, food source, and distance from the threat. The result of maxent showed an Area Under the Curve (AUC) value of 0.909 categorized as very good. The highest probability of Sunda pangolin distributions was in the Pemerihan Resort and Way Haru Resort area, while the dominant environmental variables included the distance from the village, the canopy cover, and the distance from threat with the value 47.7; 25.85; and 15.8%, respectively. Prediction maps and environment variables can help to identify the population of Sunda pangolin in the wild and can provide input for the national parks to prioritize protection areas for Sunda pangolin from the increased poaching.

Background Vitamin D insufficiency is associated with obesity and central obesity, which is in turn associated with the accumulation of visceral fat. Visceral fat secretes adiponectin which has a role in the pathogenesis of the metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus and cerebrovascular disease. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D [25(OH)D] level and adiponectin level in adults with central obesity. Methods This study was a cross sectional study with 80 subjects with central obesity and 80 healthy subjects as controls. The age of the subjects ranged from 55 to 65 years. This paper describes about the basic understanding procedure undertaken in building the electromagnetic levitation mini-model using E-I design topology. Simulation was done on the E-I core design using COMSOL software to study the distribution of the magnetic flux and flux leakages. Two types of E-core design were proposed and the rectangular shape gives the better output because of less flux leakages around the core. Besides that, the process of generating pulses using H-bridge to energize the coil winding on the E-core is also explained. From the simulation result, the test jig was assembled based on the parameter used in the simulation. The test jig was then placed at the SCML-02 to test for its levitation performance. The PID-controller in LabView software was employed together with the H-bridge PWM type to produce its modulated signals. With this design, the magnetic levitation is succeeded up to 5 mm separation between the E-core and I-core.

The trend of internet of things (IoT) makes the cloud less effective because networked control systems need low latency while cloud have high latency for processing data from sensors and devices. In that kind of situation, fog computing is introduced as the complement of cloud computing. However, unlike cloud services, fog services are limited to certain geographical area. As a consequence, fog services handover is needed in order to accommodate user’s mobility. This paper is focusing on microservices handover that follows user’s movement. The microservices installed in the current fog node are sent to another service coverage of a new fog node for continuing the same service to the users. Fog node contains a docker that runs MySQL, python script, and busybox services. When it comes to handover, docker will freeze current session and convert it to a checkpoint file. The file is created by taking a snapshot of the container, which consists of processes in memory, volume or image. The file will be sent by using secure shell (SSH) or file transfer protocol (FTP). At the destination fog node, the file will be processed in order to resume the service. The results show that delay of SSH is always higher than FTP in all experiments, in which the largest delays are 484.026 seconds for SSH protocol and 146.41 seconds for FTP protocols. As for checkpoint and restore process, those delays tend to be similar with respect to both SSH and FTP protocols but they are still affected by the size of snapshot and checkpoint file.

BACKGROUND: Ficus deltoidea Jack. leaves have a great potential as traditional medicine, but the safety level of its use is still unknown. AIM: This study aimed to determine the phytochemical contents of the ethanol extract of F. deltoidea leaves and evaluate the level of safety and toxicity through acute and subchronic toxicity tests in mice (Mus musculus). METHODS: The ethanol extract of F. deltoidea leaves was determined for phytochemical contents such as alkaloids, phenolics, flavonoids, coumarin, steroids, saponins, carotenoids, and tannins. In the acute toxicity test, 10 male mice were divided into a control group and the extract treatment group with 2000 mg/kg body weight (BW) dose for 14 days to identify signs of toxicity and mortality. Meanwhile, in the subchronic toxicity test, 25 male mice were divided into control and four treatment groups with various doses (125, 250, 500, and 1000 mg/kg BW), respectively, for 28 days. The toxicological effect was evaluated by observing behavior, signs of toxicity, and changes in BW. At the end of the treatment, hematological and biochemical evaluations were also measured. RESULTS: The results showed that the ethanol extract of F. deltoidea Jack leaves qualitatively contains alkaloids, phenolic, flavonoids, coumarin, and steroids, whereas quantitatively total phenolics, flavonoids, and IC50 were 107.6583211 μg GA/mg, 175.9103641 μg CE/mg, and 103.7484 μg/mL. Moreover, 2000 mg/kg BW dose resulted in no symptoms of toxicity and mortality, indicating that the 50% lethal dose (LD50) was above 2000 mg/kg BW. Meanwhile, there were no behavioral changes, significant differences in weight changes, hematological parameters, and serum biochemistry of mice in subchronic toxicity tests. CONCLUSION: The present study shows that acute and subchronic oral administration of the ethanol extract of F. deltoidea leaves for male mice does not induce clinical symptoms of toxicity or mortality. The LD50 of the ethanol extract of F. deltoidea leaves for mice >2000 mg/kg is considered as practically non-toxic.

The Gold standard for the evaluation of the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is inulin clearance, but in widespread use is prevented by several technical difficulties. The most commonly used marker for GFR is serum creatinine alone or in conjunction with 24 hoururine collection for determination of creatinine clearance, but these marker have several limitation include following: influence of age,sex, muscle mass on endogenous creatinine production, dietary intake and the difficulties of 24 hour urine collection. Fifty six patientwith chronic renal failure and 53 control had analyze for serum creatinin, creatinine clearance and serum cystatin C. The chronic renalfailure patient aged range from (64 + 14.54) year and the control group aged range from (62.5+ 17.5) year. The proposed of this studywas to compare cystatin C with another parameter for renal function test. The result showed that in control group serum creatinineand creatinine clearance had influence with age, sex and body mass index, but serum cystatin C was not. The normal value of cystatinC was (0.85 + 0.13) mg/dL In chronic renal failure group there were significant correlation between level of cystatin C with creatininclearance (p = 0.000, r = 0.69). The level of cystatin C increase higher than serum creatinine in patient with low clearance creatinine.In control group we were determined low creatinine clearance in patient with normal serum creatinine and cystatin C.

Pelaporan estimasi laju filtrasi glomerulus (eLFG) pada setiap hasil pemeriksaan kreatinin dianjurkan, walaupun saat ini tidak semua laboratorium mencantumkan pada hasil pemeriksaan. Modification of Diet in Renal Disease ( MDRD) merupakan formula yang digunakan untuk mengestimasi laju filtrasi glomerulus menggunakan kreatinin serum. Cystatin C serum merupakan pemeriksaan yang relatif baru dan petanda yang baik untuk menilai fungsi ginjal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui korelasi antara MDRD dan cystatin C serum. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari 260 subjek penelitian usia 40–70 tahun yang memeriksakan kreatinin serum dan cystatin C serum selama periode Januari 2013–September 2014 di laboratorium klinik swasta di Jakarta Barat dengan desain potong lintang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia rata-rata subjek 55,7+7,8 tahun. Kadar cystatin C serum rata-rata 0,99 + 0,6 mg/L, MDRD 80,24±28,1 mL/min/1,73m2. Terdapat korelasi negatif antara MDRD dan cystatin C serum dengan r=-0,767, p=0,001 (uji Pearson). Disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi nilai MDRD, nilai cystatin C serum semakin rendah. MDRD dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif uji fungsi ginjal bila pemeriksaan cystatin C serum tidak tersedia. A cross-sectional study was conducted using secondary data from 260 subjects, aged 40–70 years old to assess serum creatinine and serum cystatin C at a private laboratory in West Jakarta, during the period of January 2013–September 2014. The result of the study showed that the mean age of subjects was 55.7 + 7.8 years old, the mean serum cystatin C level was 0.99 + 0.6 mg/L, and the mean MDRD was 80.24±28.1 mL/min/1.73 m 2 . Pearson correlation analysis showed a negative correlation between MDRD and serum cystatin C with r = -0.767 and p =0.001. In conclusion, higher MDRD presents lower cystatin C serum; hence, MDRD can be used as an alternative renal function test when serum cystatin C is not available. [ MKB. 2016;48(3):129–34]

BackgroundThe prevalence of diabetes in Indonesia continues to increase and causes many complications. Fruits of Phaleria macrocarpa (Scheff.) Boerl. (PM) are used in the traditional health system of the Indonesians, as effective remedy in the management of diabetes mellitus. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect and magnitude of doses of PM dry fruit extract (PME) on blood glucose levels in healthy adults.MethodsThis research was of pre-posttest design involving 30 healthy volunteer subjects aged 20-55 years receiving glucose loads. At pre-test the subjects were given orally 75 g glucose, and at post-test they were given PME at doses of 125 mg and 250 mg. Physiological alterations during pregnancy generate higher risk of pulmonary edema and acute respiratory failure. Respiratory failure occurs in 0.2% pregnancy, particularly in postpartum period. Respiratory failure can be developed by specific conditions related to pregnancy, such as preeclampsia and peripartum cardiomyopathy. We present the case of 34-year-old female, with 36 weeks of pregnancy, that came with shortness of breath since an hour before admitted. Patient also had vaginal discharge in the last two hours before admitted. Fetal movement was active. Shortness of breath was accompanied with cough. Physical examination revealed hypertension (160/110 mmHg) and rales on both lungs. Blood gas analysis showed severe hypoxemia. Patient were intubated and underwent C-section afterwards. Chest x-ray showed heart enlargement. Echocardiography result showed fraction ejection 25%, global hypokinetic, mild mitral and tricuspid regurgitation, with conclusion of peripartum cardiomyopathy. This case illustrates respiratory failure in severe preeclampsia and peripartum cardiomyopathy. This condition leads to acute pulmonary edema that impairs ventilation/perfusion process. Mechanical ventilation can assure adequate oxygen delivery. Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) is well suited to short-term ventilatory support, and avoids the potential complications of endotracheal intubation and the associated sedation. Introduction: Ice can be contaminated by pathogenic bacteria. This study aimed to identify critical points in iced beverage production and distribution lines to examine the presence of pathogenic bacteria in a beverage and its processing environment, as well as when water and ice used as main ingredients. Methodology: The critical points were determined using the principles of Hazard Analytical Critical Control Point (HACCP) to analyze each processing and distribution step from the survey. Samples collected from the points of concern based on the critical points that were found were tested for pathogens by conventional method and molecular method using primers and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Results: Escherichia coli was found in 6.34% of samples, and 0.7% of them were confirmed as enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) by PCR. Vibrio cholerae was found in in 0.7% of water samples used to make iced beverages and in ice production, as well as in 2.12% of distribution and production tools. Salmonella Typhimurium was found in 1.4% of water samples used to make ice and ice products. Staphylococcus aureus was found in 2.02% of the surfaces of ice distribution and production tools and in 5.05% of production and distribution workers’ hands. S. aureus counts ranged from 2.4×102 - 3.5×102 colonies/100 cm² surface area and 1.9×10¹ - 3.7×102 colonies/workers’ hands. Conclusion: Control on many critical points in iced beverage processing and distribution is required so that the beverages are safe for consumption.

The Government of Indonesia has been implementing good governance programs since the post New Order period. In running the programs, the government makes strategic choices by improving the performances in public sector organizations or public services. In fact, the State Civil Apparatus merely perform the basic tasks in a standard manner, not above it. In line with that case, it needs to implement the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in public sector services to make good governance programs run optimally. Based on the previous research, there are several supporting variables in realizing the OCB, namely the Job Satisfaction, the Organizational Justice, the Perceived Organizational Support (POS), and the Perceived Supervisor Support (PSS). Therefore, this study aims to discuss the effects of the organizational justice and the job satisfaction as mediators on the relationship between the POS, the PSS and the OCB on a Public Institution in Indonesia. The research was conducted at Institution X, in which there in, the personnel consist of the three elements of State Civil Apparatus, namely the Indonesian Armed Forces, the Indonesian Police, and the Civil Servants. The method used was quantitative method by distributing questionnaires, both online and the printout ones. The samples were as many as 211 employees of Institution X while the research model was analysed using SEM-PLS. The results of the study show that satisfaction.and the Organizational Justice are able to fully mediated the positive relationship between the POS and the PSS and the OCB.

Malaria is an infectious disease caused by plasmodium that lives and breeds in the red blood cells, transmitted by the Anopheles mosquito. During this time, the paramedics to diagnose symptoms use any imagery that is done manually. In the identification analysis of the malaria parasite cell infection, there is a possibility of human error factor done by paramedics because of the number of samples analyzed. This case is because the human eye tends to be tired while working continuously, leading to misclassification and treatment that is not right. Therefore, it takes a computer-based system that facilitates image processing to paramedics or laboratory technicians to identify the parasite cells and reduce human error instances. This research conducted on identification of the thresholding and watershed of segmentation method for three types of plasmodium parasite, namely Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium malaria, and Plasmodium vivax. This study offered modifications thresholding and watershed algorithm. The results showed the success of the technique that can effectively segment on the three types of Plasmodium malaria, which has an accuracy rate above 90% as well as the results of the computation time between the thresholding method could segment imagery for 1-2 seconds and the watershed method intelligent segmented representation for 3-4 seconds.

This research developed product of test instruments based computer -High Order Thinking (CBT-HOT) in intermediate reading courses in Ikip Budi Utomo Malang. Test instruments based computer -High Order Thinking (CBT-HOT) in intermediate reading courses are high-level test package that are provided online by using a website as a basis for students who access it, so it is suitable to campus vision that must use ICT technology. The product consists of five test packages compiled with high-level criteria according to Taxonomy Bloom , those are package A, B, C, D and E. The design of this research adapts from the Borg and Gall model with the following steps (1) need analysis, (2) planning, (3) product development, (4) expert validation, (5) product revisions and (6) product trials. The objectives of this study are: (1) to produce scientific articles published in reputable national journals; (2) to produce scientific article published in international scientific journals; (3) produce CBT-HOT based test computer products that will be certified. The average value on material validation showed good results, which the average score 2,81. The average value of media validation also shows good results, which is 2.86. The average value in test instruments is 2.87.

Reformation brought many changes in public sectors in Indonesia, one of them is Military institution. Reformation required Military to become professional in every organizational aspects, including human resources as a part of resource that need to be manage strategically. Proficient and competent human resource will help organization reach its vision, missons, and strategic goals. One of the strategy to attract competent human resource is to design the recruitment and selection process in talent management corridor, where organization must identify factors which attracting a candidate to join into organization or simply called job pursuit intention. To find out what factors lead to job pursuit intention into military institution in Indonesia, data was collected using qualitative approach from middle-rank military officer. Their past experiences concerning motives/factors which lead them joined into military were explored. From analysis, it reveals that there are 5 factors which make them joined military; employer familiarity, subjective fit, hiring expectation, economic motive, and nationalism/patriotism motive.

Research on the sediment distribution based on types of grain size in the Cirebon and Demak waters has been conducted. The purposes of this research were to analyze the pattern of sediment distribution based on types of sediment grain size associated with the ocean surface current and rainfall patterns. The research was conducted in January, February, and March 2017 in the waters of Cirebon and Demak. Primary data used in this research was seabed sediment data, while secondary data included daily surface current data from HYCOM (HYbrid Coordinate Ocean Model) with resolution 0.080 and rainfall data. Sediment samples were taken by purposive sampling method at three point stations from each location. Sediment samples were analysed using wet sieving method at Marine Geology Laboratory of Diponegoro University, Semarang. The results showed that sediment texture in the Cirebon and Demak waters were dominated by sand, silt, and clay. The type of sediment in Demak waters was dominated by sand, whereas in the Cirebon region Was dominated by sandy silt. The pattern of sediment distribution was generally parallel to the coastline. Current velocity affected the sediment distribution, where larger types of sedimentary grains were found in areas with higher current velocities. Demak waters with strong current velocity was dominated by sand originating from various sources in the oceans which are carried by the currents and deposited on the coast. Cirebon waters with weaker current velocity and higher rainfall was dominated by sandy silt originating from the rivers that flow into the sea.

Wireless power transfer is the transmission of electrical energy from a power source to an electrical load without any conductive physical connection. Wireless electricity ensure that the cell phones, laptops, iPods, and other power electrical devices get changed on their own, with no need of plugging them that can prevent the sockets with all sorts of wires. Wireless power transfer is when the magnetic field is transferred over short distance. The magnetic field is created using inductive coupling between coils of wire or electric fields using capacitive coupling between electrodes. The most common form of wireless power transmission is carried out using direct induction followed by resonant magnetic induction. The carrying fluxes that induce in the inductor can be captured by another inductive coil that can produce an induced flux between the receiver coils that coupled to the primary coil. Since this technique using magnetic field to transfer the electrical energy, the flux that produces in the primary coil must be in high density with high frequency. Thus, the tesla coil is used as a transmitter to produces high voltage, high frequency and low alternating current in order to produce high density flux. In this work, a tesla coil is a main part of transmitter component in wireless electricity apparatus and need to develop with a view to demonstrate how magnetic induction is coupled to perform a wireless power transfer. In addition, the construction of winding coils of the tesla coil would be the great effects in order to provide electricity to supply a load without wires in distances. The advantages of the wireless electricity system would be completely eliminating existing wires for electrical appliances between power sources. With wireless electricity, the electrical system will be more secure as it will prevent user from electrocution of current and the power failure due to short circuit and fault or power loss on cable would never exist.

Selection of energy source depends on several factors, including energy availability, economic and power requirements. Hydro power is more cost effective than any other form of renewable power. This paper studies the performance of various stator designs in a micro hydro generator. The generator generates energy using rainwater that falls from the roof drainage system. The rainwater flows through the drainage hits the turbine and generates output power less than 500 W. This entire system consists of two main parts; mechanical and electrical. This paper focuses on the factors of designing micro hydro generator; the rotor and stator which the performance of each design of the stator is tested. The design factors to be considered in the stator are the copper wire size and number of turns of copper wire with 8 poles of magnet placed at the rotor. The designed generator produces output power in AC, then it is converted into DC using rectifier. The output power of this generator must be able to withstand over 2.5 W with 8 V DC voltage and 250 mA DC current at the highest rotation speed; 900 rpm. However, the power produced depending on capacity of rainwater as well as the pressure of the rainwater that runs from the roof drainage system that hits the turbine.

The ‘Light Emitting Diode’ (LED) is not a new technology, however, it is used widely in many related products and being adopted in our daily life. However, for the street lighting system, LED technology is not fully accepted at the moment to replace the ‘High Pressure Vapour Sodium’ (HPSV) street light which has been used throughout the country. Due to sudden increment in operating costs and energy supply tariff, this technology starts to gain its consideration because of its ability in saving the energy. The street lighting system involves relative complex specification especially in terms of safety, therefore, the LED street light is still at its initial level. In Malaysia, the first pilot project in implementing the LED street lighting system was installed at federal road with 6-lane dual carriageway by the local authority. The pilot project focuses on the structure of the road and the on site lighting measurements. The aim of this paper is to study on the ability to identify whether the LED street lights can meet the specification requirements mentioned in MS-825. As a result, the comparison is made between HPSV and LED street lights are capable to satisfy the specification requirements. In addition, from the ‘Return on Investment’ (ROI) shows that the paybacks can be achieved within 5 years which under warranty period by the manufacturer or supplier. This proves that the proposed of replacing HPSV with LED street light is reasonable.

Background One of the extra-skeletal roles of vitamin D for health is associated with cardiovascular disease. Poor vitamin D status has been associated with vascular endothelial dysfunction. There were controversial results about the association between vitamin D deficiency and matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) concentration. The purpose of the present study was to determine the concentrations of 25(OH) vitamin D [25(OH)D] in an elderly population and to find any association between 25(OH)D and MMP-9 concentrations.MethodsThis study was of cross-sectional design involving 160 male and female subjects aged 55–65 years, in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Determination of MMP-9 and 25(OH)D concentrations was done concurrently on subjects who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria after all study subjects had been selected. 25(OH)D and MMP-9 concentrations were assessed by direct competitive chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) respectively. Statistical analysis used chi square and t tests.ResultsMean 25(OH)D concentration in the study subjects was 14.4 ± 6.4 ng/mL. A total of 68.8% of subjects had a 25(OH)D level of 20 ng/mL.There was an increased MMP-9 concentration in male subjects with a 25(OH)D level of 20 ng/mL (p=0.011), but not among female subjects (p=0.809).ConclusionThe MMP-9 concentration was increased among male subjects with low level of (OH)D. This study confirmed that 25(OH)D concentration may have a potential role in endothelial function.

Public open space landscape plays important role in Bogor Heritage City. Although these spaces can carry various kind of public activities and enhance environment quality, they are fragile to disturbance and changing due to city development. Therefore, as an effort to maintain public open space landscape in 8 zones within Heritage City of Bogor, management of public open space landscape is necessary. Syntesys of public open space landscape management had held by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The AHP result showed public open space landscape in Palace and Botanical Garden of Bogor zone (20%) is in high priority to be maintained. The other zone are Situ Gede (16,9%), Plan Karsten (12,3%), European Settlement (12%), Suryakencana (11,2%), Batu Tulis (10,2%), Empang (9.2%) and West Development (8,2%). Ecological function (34,8%) becomes the most important function to be maintained (34.8%) then social culture (31.2%), economic (17%), and aesthetics (17%).

The purpose of this study is to describe pre-service teacher's learning during lecturing Animal Physiology and investigate it's impact on pre-service teacher's technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). How was the lecturing process can improve TPACK of preservice teacher on Biology education espescially in Animal Physiology. There are four experiment classes using Solomon four group design, there are pedagogic treatment, content treatment and technological treatment, the last class without any treatment. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected. Quantitative data were collected through a questionaire of TPACK. Qualitative data were collected through a lesson plan and teaching simulation. Findings has revealed that participants experienced significant gains in all TPACK constructs. Both of pedagogic and technology treatment is better than others, but pedagogical treatment didn't also increase PCK most of participants. Findings has implications for teacher education programs to be a professional teachers and for researchers interested.

The objective of this study is to provide empirical evidence on the influence of financial performance based on the framework of Maqashid Sharia toward the company value moderated by the Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) of Islamic banking in Indonesia. This study applied Agency Theory, Signaling Theory and Legitimacy Theory to justify the relationship between the variables studied. The sample of this study consisted of 11 Islamic Banks in Indonesia. Data were collected from financial statements and annual reports published by Bank Indonesia (BI) and Islamic Banks for the fiscal year of 2011-2015. Data were analyzed based on Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that financial performance, ISR and the interaction between the financial performances and the ISR does not simultaneously affect the company value at a significance level of 5%. However, it showed a significance level at 10% level of confidence. Partially, the results do not show that financial performance nor the ISR has influence on the company value. The result also indicated that ISR does not moderate the relationship between the financial performance and the company value. The electricity supply industry restructuring has started in the 1980s in Chile and UK. It spreads to the Latin American countries such as Argentina and accelerated in the 1990s in diverse forms in the USA, Australia, the Nordic and Asian countries. The main drive for electricity market restructuring in UK came from the government's belief that the advantages of competition among energy suppliers and it offers wider choice for customers. Dietary isoflavones are considered to be cardioprotective because of their structural similarity to estrogen. Equol is a metabolite of daidzein that is more potent than daidzein itself. The effect of equol on endothelial function and oxidative stress remains unclear. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of 100 mg/day soy isoflavone supplementation on the following markers: vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) and nitric oxide (NO) as markers of vascular endothelial function, and malonyldialdehyde (MDA) as oxidative stress marker in equol-producing postmenopausal women. A stratified randomized double blind controlled trial was conducted among 190 postmenopausal Indonesian women aged 47 to 60 years. They were stratified into equol producers and equol nonproducers. The random allocation of intervention was carried out separately in each stratum. The intervention group received tablets consisting of 100 mg soy isoflavones and calcium carbonate 500 mg, and the control group received 500 mg calcium carbonate. The concentrations of VCAM-1, NO and MDA were measured at baseline and post-supplementation at 6 months. After 6 months of supplementation the MDA concentrations were significantly lower in the soy-isoflavone equol producers compared with equol nonproducers (p=0.021). Similar results were also found for VCAM-1 and NO concentrations, but these were statistically not significant (p = 0.413 and p= 0.724, respectively). This study demonstrates that isoflavone supplementation in postmenopausal women with equol-producer status had a more beneficial effect by decreasing the MDA concentration, but did not improve VCAM-1 and NO concentrations.
