In recent years, artificial intelligence has been advancing and intelligence in the judicial field has been developing, and legal Judgment prediction based on legal documents has become a hot research direction. The task of legal verdict prediction is to analyze the factual descriptions of real cases and mine the textual features in the factual descriptions. Most of the present-day legal verdict prediction uses deep learning methods, but its accuracy rate still needs to be improved. In this paper, we propose a fusion model based on Bert and LSTM-CNN for prediction, and use part of the datasets from the "China Law Research Cup" Judicial Artificial Intelligence Challenge to filter and conduct experiments. The experimental results show that compared with other common models, the proposed model has more accurate prediction results and achieves better standards in model evaluation criteria.

BackgroundPercutaneous kyphoplasty is the main method in the treatment of thoracolumbar osteoporotic compression fractures. However, much radiation exposure during the operation harms the health of surgeons and patients. In addition, the accuracy of this surgery still needs to be improved. This study aimed to assess the radiation exposure and clinical efficacy of Tirobot-assisted vertebroplasty in treating thoracolumbar osteoporotic compression fracture.MethodsIncluded in this retrospective cohort study were 60 patients (60–90 years) who had undergone unilateral vertebroplasty for thoracolumbar osteoporotic compression fracture at our hospital between June 2019 and June 2020. All showed no systemic diseases and were assigned to Tirobot group (treated with Tirobot-assisted approach) and control group (treated with traditional approach). Fluoroscopic frequency, operative duration, length of stay (LOS), post-operative complications (cement leakage, infection, and thrombosis), and pre-operative and pre-discharge indexes (VAS score, JOA score, and Cobb’s angle) were compared.ResultsThe fluoroscopic frequency (P< 0.001) and post-operative complications (P= 0.035) in Tirobot group were significantly lower than those in control group. The operative duration and LOS in the Tirobot group were shorter than those in the control group, but the differences were not statistically significant (P= 0.183). Pre-discharge VAS score and Cobb’s angle decreased, and JOA increased after surgeries in both groups. These three indexes showed a significant difference after surgery in each group (P< 0.001), but not between groups (PVAS= 0.175,PCobb’s= 0.585,PJOA= 0.448).ConclusionThe Tirobot-assisted vertebroplasty can reduce surgery-related trauma, post-operative complications, and patients’ and operators’ exposure to radiation. As a safe and effective strategy, this surgery can realize the quick recovery from thoracolumbar osteoporotic compression fracture.

In order to stabilize the training of generative adversarial networks, several recent works advocate spectral normalization in the discriminator. However, the method ignores the influence of the generator, and the quality of the images generated in practice is unstable. We propose L2 norm regularization in the generator based on the spectral normalization, which can solve the above shortcomings. Our method directly makes the generated data close to real data in Euclidean space, and indirectly helps the spectral normalization achieve tighter Lipschitz constraint during the training of generative adversarial networks. Our experiments on CIFAR-10 and STL-10 dataset confirm that our method can not only stable the quality of the images generated by spectral normalization, but also improve the quality of generated images.

To facilitate system architecture development in practice, we propose an engineering methodology in this paper. First, seven kernels of architecture engineering (i.e., Opportunity, Stakeholder, Need, Architecture, Team, Work and Way-of-Working) that must be considered during the process of developing an architecture are proposed, and then different states for each kernel, which can indicate the progress and health of architecture development, are defined. Second, to reduce complexity, architecture development is refined into four core disciplines (i.e., Need Analyze, Architecture Design, Model Verify and Architecture Evaluate) and the development process are divided into four phases (i.e., inception, elaboration, refinement and release). Moreover, suggested kernel states in each phase are provided. Third, a Plan-Execute-Inspect-Adjust (PEIA) method is given to transfer from current kernel states to target kernel states, to push the architecture development process forward iteratively and effectively. Finally, an application is conducted by using our methodology to describe the architecture of a joint experiment system. Results show that our methodology can effectively facilitate system architecture development in practice.

It has been observed that patients on rivaroxaban require more heparin and frequent activated clotting time (ACT) monitoring throughout the catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation, but the strategy of heparin injection varies in different studies. We sought to examine the determinants of heparin dosage in Chinese patients on rivaroxaban.We reviewed consecutive patients who received rivaroxaban before atrial fibrillation ablation and compared them to patients on no anticoagulant. The dosage of heparin required to achieve ACT300 s was evaluated. We then tested determinants of heparin dosage prospectively.There were 124 patients on rivaroxaban (R group) and 42 on no anticoagulant (NA group) in retrospective study. Heparin dosage required to achieve target ACT was 0.89 ± 0.01 mg/kg in R group and 0.60 ± 0.01 mg/kg in NA group, P0.05. The bolus heparin dosage required was 0.77 ± 0.01 mg/kg (96.1 ± 1.1 U/kg) when baseline ACT200 s. In the prospective study, 80/90(88.9%) of patients in R group and 79/90(87.8%) in NA group achieved an ACT300 s after initial bolus injection of heparin. The ACT 60 min after target ACT (ACT60) in R group was higher than that in NA group (287.5 ± 28.3 VS 238.9 ± 29.5, P0.05). Rivaroxaban was the only independent predictor of ACT60. There was no significant difference in ACT or heparin dosage in patients with different duration on or withdrawal of rivaroxaban.In patients undergoing atrial fibrillation ablation on rivaroxaban, the effective duration of heparin is prolonged and the procedural heparin requirement is significantly greater. Heparin dosage can be predicted by baseline ACT, but not influenced by duration on or withdrawal of rivaroxaban.

Thoracolumbar fractures are usually treated by open posterior pedicle screw fixation. However, this procedure involves massive paraspinal muscle stripping, inflicting surgical trauma, and prolonged X-ray exposure. In this study, we observed 127 patients with single-segment injury thoracolumbar fractures. Thirty-six patients were treated by the modified Wiltse's paraspinal approach with minimally invasive channel system, while 91 patients were treated via traditional posterior approach. Operation time, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative fluoroscopy frequency, screw placement accuracy, visual analogue scale score, and Cobb's angle of two groups were compared. To facilitate system architecture development using DoDAF, we propose an architecture development methodology based on DoDAF 2.0 in this paper. First, based on experiences in practice, gaps between Operational Viewpoint (OV), Capability Viewpoint (CV) and System/Service Viewpoint (SV/SvcV) are analyzed. Second, to bridge the gaps, two architecture viewpoints, i.e. Information activity Viewpoint (IaV) and Capability effect Viewpoint (CeV) proposed in our previous work, are introduced. In addition, a meta-model is provided to define key architecture elements and their relationships in these six viewpoints (i.e. OV, CV, IaV, CeV, SV and SvcV). Third, via analysis of element associations in different viewpoints and models, we give a suggested process of developing system architecture using the six viewpoints and their models, including model development steps, inputs and outputs of each step. Finally, a case study is conducted by applying our methodology to describe architecture of a defense system. Results show that our methodology can effectively facilitate system architecture development and help architects (especially for information system architects) to develop architecture from OV, CV to SV and SvcV.

Objective: To study therapy with indapamide impairing carbohydrate metabolism in essential hypertension patients and achieve earlier prevention, diagnoses and treatment of diabetes induced by indapamide. Methods: Four cases of essential hypertension patients (1 male and 3 females) were observed through process of therapy with indapamide and laboratory investigations. Results: After 4- to 14-month period of therapy with the combination of indapamide (2.5 mg/day) and fosinopril (10 mg/day) in three patients and 6-month period of monotherapy with indapamide (2.5 mg/day) in one patient, glucose levels of all patients increased and achieve criteria of diabetes diagnoses. After 3- to 13-month period of therapy without indapamide, glucose levels of all patients decreased and diabetes disappeared. Conclusion: Therapy with indapamide may induce diabetes in essential hypertension patients. After stopping indapamide, glucose tolerance impairing may be reversed.

This study constitutes an empirical investigation of how the political connections of corporate management influence the corporate performance. Connections can be established by the corporate executives through inheritance or active development. When the nature of political connections is not differentiated, the political connections of corporate CEOs and board chairs in general have statistically insignificant impacts on the firm performance in China, reflecting both the benefits and costs of connections. With differentiation, it is found, however, that developed connections are associated with an improvement in firm performance, while inherited ones are associated with a decline in firm performance.

It is a common notion that a significant conflict of interest exists between the state and the bureaucrats who control state-owned firms because the bureaucrats have essentially all the control rights but negligible cash flow rights in those firms. Yet, there is little systematic evidence on whether and how bureaucrats pursue private benefits at the cost of the state-owned firms. Using data from IPOs of state-owned firms in China, we find strong evidence that CEOs of state firms attempt to get promotions in the bureaucratic hierarchy by underpricing IPOs and allocating IPO shares to parties important to their careers. Specifically, we find that i) executives' chance of promotion is positively correlated with the level of IPO underpricing, and ii) those executives who can benefit more from underpricing, such as younger executives and those with government experience, actually underprice more. We don't find similar effects in private firms. These results point to a source of efficiency gains that privatization may achieve.

A partially filled waveguide is presented to measure complex permittivity and permeability simultaneously at microwave frequency in this article. The mode-matching method is used to analyze the higher-order modes in the waveguide. Experimental results agree well with theoretical results. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

A partially filled waveguide is used to measure complex permittivity and permeability simultaneously at microwave in this paper. A waveguide partially filled with material under test is measured by an automatic network analyser. The "mode match" method is used to analyse the higher order mode in the waveguide. Both theoretical and experimental aspects are discussed in detail. Experimental results agree well with the theoretical results. >

This paper describes a low cost, CMOS foundry compatible BiCMOS process for 1.9 GHz RF applications. It keeps the simple feature of the triple-well single-poly approach while achieving much higher f/sub T/ by utilizing novel c-well profile engineering to reduce base and collector series resistance.

Background Scar-related Intra-atrial re-entrant tachycardias (IARTs) located at lateral wall of right atrium are common late after cardiac surgery in which right lateral atriotomy was performed, and also occurred in some patients without prior atriotomy. Conventional mapping and ablation is relatively difficult because of the complicated anatomy and multiple potential re-entry loops. Objective The study aims to investigate a new method of strategic linear ablation to isolation of scar area from right lateral wall for successful ablation of scar-related atrial tachycardia originating at lateral wall of right atrium. Methods Four patients had AT related to myocardial scar or incision located at lateral wall of right atrium underwent the electrophysiological study and RF catheter ablation. Earliest activation combined with entrainment mapping was adopted to determine a critical isthmus. Scar area isolation from right lateral wall was performed by linear ablation along cavotricuspid isthmus, from the scar to crista terminalis and to the inferior vena cava (IVC), from the scar to the tricuspid annulus. Results Fifteen IARTs was induced in all of four patients. Four of 15 atrial tachycardias (ATs) were intra-scar reentry AT, three typical atrial flutter (AFL), two double loop reentry tachycardia (DLR) around superior vena cava (SVC) and inferior vena cava (IVC) respectively, four upper loop reentry tachycardia (ULR) around SVC, two lower loop reentry tachycardia (LLR) around IVC. The reentry loops of all ATs were related with scar area. The mean tachycardia cycle length was 268.1±49.5 ms. In all patients, linear ablations along cavotricuspid isthmus, from scar area to crista terminalis and to IVC, were performed. Linear ablation from scar area to tricuspid annulus was performed in one patient. Isolation of scar area from right lateral wall was achieved in all patients. All tachycardias, including scar-related AT and typical AFL were ablated successfully. There was no complication during procedure. No recurrences of AT was observed during follow-up. Conclusion Under conventional electrophysiological mapping, linear ablations from scar area to anatomic barrier and/or isolation of scar area from right lateral wall, could be successfully abolish IARTs and all potential circuits with reentry around or related to the scar.

A six-port technique is presented for simultaneous measurement of complex permittivity and permeability of a given material. A dual six-port network analyzer is employed to measure the scattering parameters. The complex permittivity and permeability are computed from the scattering parameters of a transmission line filled with the material to be tested. Measured ϵr, μr, data for Teflon agree well with known values. The identical samples are measured with a six-port ANA and an automatic network analyzer, HP8510B. The measured data of the six-port ANA and the HP8510B agree well with each other by comparison.

Objectives Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) are ideal source for cell therapy in treating ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM). Hypoxia preconditioning can enhance the migrating ability as well as reduce the apoptosis of BMSCs. This study explored the impact of a hypoxia related gene product, CCR7 chemokine receptor, in BMSC in vitro migration and anti-apoptosis ability. Methods Human bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMNCs) were isolated from human bone marrow using Ficoll 400 lymphocytes separation medium. BMSCs are separated by adhering to flask bottom and cultured in vitro. BMSCs were characterised by detecting cell surface antigen using flow cytometry. Human CCR7 sequence was amplified from human genome, and constructed into pCCL-CMV-IRES-GFP plasmid backbone. BMSCs were transfected with the pCCL-CMV-CCR7-IRES-GFP plasmid with the presence of lipofectamine 2000 (Invitrogen) to generate BMSC/CCR7 + cells. BMSC/CCR7 + were incubated under 0% O 2 , glucose and serum deprived (OGSD) condition for 36 h, BMSCs treatment with lipofectamine 2000 were cultured under the same condition as control group. In vitro BMSCs was determined using transwell assay. BMSCs were stained with DAPI dye, and the anti-apoptosis ability of BMSCs was assessed using fluorescence microscope. Results Human CCR7 gene could be transduced into BMSCs by lipofectamine 2000 reagent. BMSCs/CCR7 + gained a higher survival rate, versus control BMSC cells. BMSCs/CCR7 + were more able to migrate through the transwell membrane. Conclusions Transduce exogenous human CCR7 gene could enhance BMSCs in vitro migration and anti-apoptosis ability.

Background With the number of complex catheter ablation procedures increasing, procedure-related acute cardiac tamponade is encountered more frequently in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory. Survival depends on prompt recognisation and rescue pericardiocentesis. Objective The aim of this report was to validate fluoroscopic heart silhouette characteristics associated with cardiac tamponade as a diagnostic method, and evaluate the safety and effectiveness of fluoroscopy-guided pericardiocentesis during catheter ablation. Methods All cases of acute cardiac tamponade that occurred in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory during radiofrequency catheter ablation from March 2004 to November of 2009 were reviewed retrospectively. Results Of 1832 catheter ablation procedures performed during a 5-year period, 10 (0.55%) were complicated by cardiac tamponade. Fluoroscopic examination confirmed the diagnosis in all 10 patients and demonstrated effusions before hypotension In 4 patients. All patients were stabilised by fluoroscopy-guided pericardiocentesis with placement of an indwelling catheter and autologous transfusion. The time interval between recognition of cardiac tamponade and completion of pericardiocentesis was 6.0±1.8 min (range 3–9 min). The mean aspirated blood volume was 437 ml (range 110–1400 ml), and the mean autotransfused blood volume was 425 ml (range 100–1384 ml). Surgical repair of the cardiac perforation was needed in one patient. No procedure-related death occurred. The ablation procedures were resumed and succeeded in 3 patients after pericardiocentesis. Conclusion A reduction in the excursion of cardiac silhouette on fluoroscopy is an early diagnostic sign of cardiac tamponade during radiofrequency ablation. Fluoroscopy-guided pericardiocentesis is a safe and effective management strategy for cardiac tamponade developed in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory.

This paper describes the experimental investigation of stimulated Raman scattering obtained from a multimode fiber. 10 orders of stimulated Stokes scattering of wavelengths in the 546–702 nm region were obtained from a 480m multimode, low-loss, graded-index quartz fiber pumped by a 532 nm frequency-doubled YAG-Nd laser beam with a pulse duration of 7 ns, output power of 0.7 MW and repetition rates of 5 and 10 pps.
