1. Keyphrase Extraction by Improving TextRank with an Integration of Word Embedding and Syntactic Information

Abstract: Background: As a known key phrase extraction algorithm, TextRank is an analogue of PageRank algorithm, which relied heavily on the statistics of term frequency in the manner of co-occurrence analysis. Objective: The frequency-based characteristic made it a neck-bottle for performance enhancement, and various improved TextRank algorithms were proposed in the recent years. Most of improvements incorporated semantic information into key phrase extraction algorithm and achieved improvement. Method: In this research, taking both syntactic and semantic information into consideration, we integrated syntactic tree algorithm and word embedding and put forward an algorithm of Word Embedding and Syntactic Information Algorithm (WESIA), which improved the accuracy of the TextRank algorithm. Results: By applying our method on a self-made test set and a public test set, the result implied that the proposed unsupervised key phrase extraction algorithm outperformed the other algorithms to some extent.

2. A data-driven workflow for evaporation performance degradation analysis: a full-scale case study in the herbal medicine manufacturing industry

Abstract: The evaporation process is a common step in herbal medicine manufacturing and often lasts for a long time. The degradation of evaporation performance is inevitable, leading to more consumption of steam and electricity, and it may also have an impact on the content of thermosensitive components. Recently, a vast amount of evaporation process data is collected with the aid of industrial information systems, and process knowledge is hidden behind the data. But currently, these data are seldom deeply analyzed. In this work, an exploratory data analysis workflow is proposed to evaluate the evaporation performance and to identify the root causes of the performance degradation. The workflow consists of 6 steps: data collecting, preprocessing, characteristic stage identification, feature extraction, model development and interpretation, and decision making. In the model development and interpretation step, the workflow employs the HDBSCAN clustering algorithm for data annotation and then uses the ccPCA method to compare the differences between clusters for root cause analysis. A full-scale case is presented to verify the effectiveness of the workflow. The evaporation process data of 192 batches in 2018 were collected in the case. Through the steps of the workflow, the features of each batch were extracted, and the batches were clustered into 6 groups. The root causes of the performance degradation were determined as the high Pv,II and high LI by ccPCA. Recommended suggestions for future manufacturing were given according to the results. The proposed workflow can determine the root causes of the evaporation performance degradation.

3. Policy orientation, knowledge dynamic ability and green innovation: A mediation model based on China provincial panel data

Abstract: Environmental supervision and government subsidy are important tools for government to promote green innovation. The influence of these two policy orientations on green innovation performance is spreading widely, but the specific indirect mechanism of policy orientation inducing green innovation needs further exploring. This paper introduces the knowledge-dynamic ability (knowledge production ability, knowledge acquisition ability, knowledge integration ability) into the analysis framework of enterprise green innovation, and studies the mediating effect of the knowledge-dynamic ability on policy orientation and green innovation. Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2000 to 2015, the empirical findings are as follows: Firstly, the knowledge-dynamic ability plays a remarkable mediating role in promoting between policy orientation and green innovation, which indicates that improving the knowledge-dynamic ability is a core mechanism of policy orientation to induce enterprise green innovation. Secondly, the knowledge-dynamic ability plays a complete mediating role in the relationship between environmental supervision and green innovation. Environmental supervision promotes green process innovation by enhancing knowledge acquisition ability and induces green product innovation by enhancing knowledge production ability. Thirdly, the knowledge-dynamic ability plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between government subsidy and green innovation. Government subsidy improves enterprise green process innovation by enhancing knowledge acquisition ability and knowledge integration ability, and induces enterprise green product innovation by enhancing knowledge production ability and knowledge integration ability., Nadzor okoliša i vladine subvencije važni su alati vlade za promicanje zelenih inovacija. Utjecaj tih dviju smjernica politike na rast zelene inovacije se širi, ali potrebno je dodatno istražiti specifične neizravne mehanizme usmjerenosti politike koje potiču zelene inovacije. U ovom radu uvodi se dinamička sposobnost znanja (sposobnost proizvodnje znanja, sposobnost stjecanja znanja, sposobnost integracije znanja) u okvir analize poduzeća zelenih inovacija i proučava posrednički učinak sposobnosti dinamike znanja na usmjerenost politike i zelene inovacije. Empirijski nalazi koji se temelje na panel podacima 30 kineskih provincija za razdoblje od 2000. do 2015. su slijedeći: Prvo, dinamička sposobnost znanja ima značajnu posredničku ulogu između promicanja usmjerenosti prema politici i zelenih inovacija, što ukazuje na to da je poboljšanje dinamičke sposobnosti znanja temeljni mehanizam usmjeravanja politike za poticanje zelenih inovacija u poduzeću. Drugo, dinamička sposobnost znanja igra potpunu posredničku ulogu u odnosu između nadzora okoliša i zelenih inovacija. Nadzor okoliša promiče inovacije zelenih procesa povećavajući sposobnost stjecanja znanja i potiče inovacije zelenih proizvoda poboljšanjem sposobnosti proizvodnje znanja. Treće, dinamička sposobnost znanja ima djelomično posredničku ulogu između državnih subvencija i zelenih inovacija. Državne subvencije poboljšavaju inovacije zelenog procesa u poduzeću povećavanjem sposobnosti stjecanja znanja i sposobnosti integracije znanja, te potiču inovacije zelenih proizvoda u poduzeću povećavanjem sposobnosti proizvodnje znanja i sposobnosti integracije znanja.

Abstract: With the continuous expansion of network scale and the increasing complexity of attack methods, traditional network security protection equipment has been unable to cope with large-scale network security detection and protection. However, most current operation and maintenance systems cannot reasonably evaluate and predict network security. In order to be able to evaluate and prevent the network security of the bridge BIM intelligent operation and maintenance system under the background of big data, this paper uses the KDD Cup99 data set and the network attack data in the bridge BIM network environment to simulate the method proposed in this paper. The comparison results verify that the network security risk perception method proposed in this paper can realize network security risk perception more accurately and efficiently. This paper proposes a data mining method based on Bayesian network algorithm to evaluate the risk value of the bridge BIM intelligent operation and maintenance system. During the period from 0 to 110 min, the network risk value increased from 0.003 to 0.91. It can be seen that with the deepening of the attack phase, the degree of network risk will also increase. This paper uses the detection rate, false negative rate, false positive rate, AUC and other indicators to conduct simulation experiments on the data prediction-based network security risk prediction algorithm and comparison algorithm proposed in this paper. Simulation experiments show that under the four simulation experiment environments (pl = pe = 0.01/0.15, n = 20/50), the AUC of this scheme is increased by 0.018, 0.053, 0.008 and 0.11, respectively. The proposed algorithms are better than the comparison algorithms.

Abstract: Virtual reality (VR) presents opportunities for innovative patient educational methods. This study used a combination of subjective questionnaires and objective physiological measures to investigate the impact of a VR radiotherapy (RT) educational system on patients’ understanding and anxiety prior to commencing RT. Sixty patients were randomized to control (n = 30) and intervention (n = 30) groups prior to initiating RT. The control group received the standard nursing care process. The intervention group additionally participated in a detailed introduction to RT positioning, procedures, treatments, and other RT-related information via VR education. All patients completed a data collection from pre- and postintervention, which included questions on RT comprehension, anxiety-related scales, and objective physiological data reflecting the patient’s psychological state, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and respiration. Both groups had high anxiety levels before the intervention, and there was no significant difference between the questionnaire and physiological data of the two groups. Abstract: In order to ensure the electronics of radial X-ray camera (RXC) system can work normally under the complicated electromagnetic environment of Tokamak system, simulation and analysis of the static magnetic distribution is done in this paper. The electromagnetic shielding box is designed and shielding effort was validated through simulation with software Maxwell. The shielding box designed can reduce the static magnetic flux density from 230 mT to less than 5 mT, meeting the requirements of anti-electromagnetic interference ability of electronics.

Abstract: The shortage of freshwater resources is becoming increasingly serious. A thermal power plant coupled with a low-temperature multi-effect distillation seawater desalination (single-stage thermal vapor compressor (TVC)) has been widely used. To reduce the water production cost effectively, a two-stage TVC is proposed in this study. The simulation work for the system performance under single- and two-stage TVC is analyzed. Results show that the performance of the system coupled with the two-stage TVC is superior under most conditions, and an optimal intermediate pressure (16 kPa) of the two-stage TVC is found for minimum coal consumption. When the power plant load is higher than 70% THA, the cogeneration system performs well, and the motive steam of the two-stage TVC comes from extraction point No. 5. Otherwise, the motive steam that comes from extraction point No. 4 is a suitable choice. The maximum coal consumption reduction value is 1.48 t/h. To deal with the low operation load of power plants in China, 60% THA load of power plant is a suitable choice for two-stage TVC of power-water cogeneration system.

Abstract: Contains fulltext : 200963.pdf (Publisher’s version ) (Closed access) Objective: Although lower brain volume has been routinely observed in individuals with substance dependence compared with nondependent control subjects, the brain regions exhibiting lower volume have not been consistent across studies. In addition, it is not clear whether a common set of regions are involved in substance dependence regardless of the substance used or whether some brain volume effects are substance specific. Resolution of these issues may contribute to the identification of clinically relevant imaging biomarkers. Using pooled data from 14 countries, the authors sought to identify general and substance-specific associations between dependence and regional brain volumes. Method: Brain structure was examined in a mega-analysis of previously published data pooled from 23 laboratories, including 3,240 individuals, 2,140 of whom had substance dependence on one of five substances: alcohol, nicotine, cocaine, methamphetamine, or cannabis. Subcortical volume and cortical thickness in regions defined by FreeSurfer were compared with nondependent control subjects when all sampled substance categories were combined, as well as separately, while controlling for age, sex, imaging site, and total intracranial volume. Because of extensive associations with alcohol dependence, a secondary contrast was also performed for dependence on all substances except alcohol. An optimized split-half strategy was used to assess the reliability of the findings. Results: Lower volume or thickness was observed in many brain regions in individuals with substance dependence. The greatest effects were associated with alcohol use disorder. A set of affected regions related to dependence in general, regardless of the substance, included the insula and the medial orbitofrontal cortex. Furthermore, a support vector machine multivariate classification of regional brain volumes successfully classified individuals with substance dependence on alcohol or nicotine relative to nondependent control subjects. Conclusions: The results indicate that dependence on a range of different substances shares a common neural substrate and that differential patterns of regional volume could serve as useful biomarkers of dependence on alcohol and nicotine. 10 p.

Abstract: Contains fulltext : 232759.pdf (Publisher’s version ) (Closed access) In 2008, we published the first set of guidelines for standardizing research in autophagy. Since then, this topic has received increasing attention, and many scientists have entered the field. Our knowledge base and relevant new technologies have also been expanding. Thus, it is important to formulate on a regular basis updated guidelines for monitoring autophagy in different organisms. Despite numerous reviews, there continues to be confusion regarding acceptable methods to evaluate autophagy, especially in multicellular eukaryotes. Here, we present a set of guidelines for investigators to select and interpret methods to examine autophagy and related processes, and for reviewers to provide realistic and reasonable critiques of reports that are focused on these processes. These guidelines are not meant to be a dogmatic set of rules, because the appropriateness of any assay largely depends on the question being asked and the system being used. Moreover, no individual assay is perfect for every situation, calling for the use of multiple techniques to properly monitor autophagy in each experimental setting. Finally, several core components of the autophagy machinery have been implicated in distinct autophagic processes (canonical and noncanonical autophagy), implying that genetic approaches to block autophagy should rely on targeting two or more autophagy-related genes that ideally participate in distinct steps of the pathway. Along similar lines, because multiple proteins involved in autophagy also regulate other cellular pathways including apoptosis, not all of them can be used as a specific marker for bona fide autophagic responses. Here, we critically discuss current methods of assessing autophagy and the information they can, or cannot, provide. Our ultimate goal is to encourage intellectual and technical innovation in the field.

12. Five Years Follow-up After Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair Using Suture Bridge Technique: Evaluation of the Retear Rate and the Impairment of the Shoulder Function

Abstract: Purpose: To evaluate the retear rate after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair using a suture bridge (SB) technique for patients with full thickness rotator cuff tears and whether the non- healing cuff impaired the shoulder function.Methods: From January 2013 to January 2014, 92 patients in our institution underwent arthroscopic double-row suture bridge repair for the treatment of full-thickness rotator cuff tear 55 patients who have completed the 5 years follow-up were enrolled in this study. There were 36 female and 19 male patients, and the average age was 58.6 years (range, 41- 70 years). The tears were classified into small ( 5 cm) according to the classification of DeOrio and Cofield. According to the intraoperative measurement, small tears were found in 5 shoulders (9%), medium tears in 19 shoulders (34.5%), large tears in 23 shoulders (41.8%), and massive tears in 8 shoulders (14.5%). The mean follow-up was 71.2 months (range, 66-78 months). Post-operative cuff integrity was evaluated with ultrasound (US) according to the published literature which was comparable to Sugaya MRI classification. Types I-III indicated cuff healing and types IV or V indicated retear. The retear patterns were divided into type 1 (failure at the original repair site) or 2 (failure around the medial row). At baseline and final follow-up, shoulder functional outcomes were measured using validated, shoulder-specific outcome scores, including the Constant-Murley score (CS) and the American Shoulder and Elbow Score (ASES). The difference in abduction muscle strength was also evaluated between the integrity and the retear group.Results: At final follow-up, the rotator cuff was completely healed in 45 of the 55 shoulders. There were recurrent tears in 10 shoulders, and the retear rate was 18.2%. The type 1 re- tear pattern was found in 4 shoulders (40%), and type 2 in 6 shoulders (60%). The Constant and ASES scores improved from 41.00 to 92.00, and from 41.33 to 88.00, respectively. The mean differences in shoulder scaption strength between the healing and the retear group were 1.1±0.82Kg and 3.0±0.88Kg respectively. The difference in muscle strength between the retear and the healing group was statistically significant (pConclusion: Arthroscopic suture bridge repair of full-thickness rotator cuff tears led to excellent improvement in shoulder function, but maintained a high retear rate. Although the retear group had inferior muscle strength, the patients were still satisfied, and shoulder function was improved due to pain relief. Whether such changes in muscle strength impair patients' long-term quality of life and shoulder function remains to be discussed.Level of evidence IV

Abstract: Aiming at the influence of driving speed, air temperature, wind speed and other nonlinear factors on driving, the traditional PID has poor ability to adjust adaptively temperature, which it is difficult to meet the needs of self-adaptive temperature adjustment about the electric vehicle gloves. So a temperature control and thermal insulation system based on adaptive fuzzy PID for electric vehicle gloves is designed in this article. According to the fuzzy rule, the error and the rate of error change between the actual temperature and the set value of gloves are deduced, the increment DKp, DKi, DKd of Kp, Ki, Kd are obtained, then the PID control parameter Kp, Ki, Kd can be further adjusted to meet the needs of adaptive adjusting gloves temperature in different environments. The system adopts STM32F103C8T6 micro controller, voice recognition and player module, human body induction module and other sensors for hardware design, software design and experimental verification. Experimental result shows that contrasting the traditional PID control system the design in this paper significantly improves the temperature control accuracy of electric vehicle gloves, with less overshoot and stronger robustness. It is great significance to improve the reliability of the real-time temperature control system in different environments and the comfortable sensation of wearing for electric vehicle glove.

Abstract: Aiming at the different health states of hydraulic pumps, this paper proposes to use the convolutional neural network to classify and identify the time-frequency images of different volumetric efficiency of hydraulic pumps to realize the health status monitoring of hydraulic pumps. After collecting the vibration signal data of the hydraulic pump, the time-frequency map is formed by short-time Fourier transform, wavelet transform, and Wigner-Will distribution, and then the generated time-frequency map is divided into a training set and a test set, in which the former is used to train the convolutional neural network and the latter is used to verify the recognition result. Finally, it is proved that the convolutional neural network can well identify the different health states of the hydraulic pump, and the recognition rate reaches 99%.

Abstract: Atrial fibrillation (AF), as the most common sustained cardiac arrhythmia, is associated with substantially increased morbidity and mortality. Aggregating evidence demonstrates that genetic defects play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of AF, especially in familial AF. Nevertheless, AF is of pronounced genetic heterogeneity, and in an overwhelming majority of cases the genetic determinants underlying AF remain elusive. In the current study, 162 unrelated patients with familial AF and 238 unrelated healthy individuals served as controls were recruited. The coding exons and splicing junction sites of the SHOX2 gene, which encodes a homeobox-containing transcription factor essential for proper development and function of the cardiac conduction system, were sequenced in all study participants. The functional effect of the mutant SHOX2 protein was characterized with a dual-luciferase reporter assay system. As a result, a novel heterozygous SHOX2 mutation, c.580C>T or p.R194X, was identified in an index patient, which was absent from the 476 control chromosomes. Genetic analysis of the proband's pedigree revealed that the nonsense mutation co-segregated with AF in the family with complete penetrance. Functional assays demonstrated that the mutant SHOX2 protein had no transcriptional activity compared with its wild-type counterpart. In conclusion, this is the first report on the association of SHOX2 loss-of-function mutation with enhanced susceptibility to familial AF, which provides novel insight into the molecular mechanism underpinning AF, suggesting potential implications for genetic counseling and individualized management of AF patients.

Abstract: Recent research has shown that adaptive control charts and the CUmulative SUM (CUSUM) schemes are quicker in detecting process shifts than traditional static Shewhart charts. This article proposes a weighted loss function CUSUM (WLC) scheme with Variable Sampling Intervals (VSI). It simultaneously monitors both mean shifts and an increasing variance shift by manipulating a single CUSUM chart. Most importantly, this VSI WLC scheme is much easier to operate and design than a VSI CCC scheme which comprises of three CUSUM charts (two of them monitoring the increasing and decreasing mean shifts and one monitoring the increasing variance shift). Abstract: Purpose The aim of this study is to provide some important insights for knowledge stickiness from the perspective of the characteristic of knowledge and the people engaged in the knowledge transfer. It proposes an empirical model about factors that influence knowledge stickiness. Design/methodology/approach Based on knowledge-based view (KBV), this paper systematically elaborated the research model, and then conducted a survey to test the hypotheses. Data were collected by face-to-face interviews in R&D team of knowledge-intensive firms in China. The empirical results generally support the proposed hypotheses. Findings The paper provides empirical insights about how the knowledge transfer willingness, transfer ability, knowledge residence, knowledge articulability and absorption ability affect the knowledge stickiness in the process of knowledge transfer in R&D team. Research limitations/implications This paper provides guidelines about how firms should optimally respond to knowledge stickiness in knowledge transfer process practically. Practical implications The proposed framework helps to understand what factors impact knowledge stickiness in R&D teams. Furthermore, the research also provides guidelines about how firms should optimally respond to knowledge stickiness in knowledge transfer process practically from both aspects of characteristics of knowledge itself and people involved in knowledge transfer. Originality/value This study, grounded on KBV, constructs a countermeasure model of weakening knowledge stickiness, which contributes to an understanding of factors leading to the success or failure of knowledge transfer. It eventually theoretically extends the KBV of the firm and commits to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of knowledge transfer practically.

Abstract: Aims: The study aims to review the performance of the Nigerian bank of agriculture, Katsina state, in terms of micro credit disbursement and loan recovery. Study Design: Reviewing the bank performance in terms of micro-credit delivery and loan recovery from the year 2013 to 2015. Place and Duration of Study: Katsina state, Nigeria and College of Economics and Management, Shenyang Agricultural University, Shenyang, 110866, China from Sep, 2015 to Sep, 2016. Methodology: Data was collected using structured questionnaire administered to a hundred and seventy six randomly sampled money borrowers from the bank of agriculture. Similarly secondary data on the bank’s loan disbursement for the period under study was collected. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the data was analyzed using loan repayment and loan default rate equations. Results: The study result revealed that, about 81% of the borrowers from the bank are males, 55% of them are in their productive ages and 49% among them had no formal education and 32% of the borrowers complained of the inadequate number of bank branches in the region. The study also revealed that a total of $164889.68 was disbursed by the bank to 398 borrowers in the years under study. Furthermore the bank has recorded 79% loan repayment rate from 2013 to 2015. Conclusion: Based on the findings, it is recommended that the bank should be restructured administratively and repositioned by employing more competent and better experienced banking personnel. Also, government should inject more funds into the bank.

Abstract: Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of introducing both rituximab (RTX) and 131I for active Graves' ophthalmopathy (GO) with hyperthyroidism. Methods: In total, 217 patients suffering from active GO with hyperthyroidism were included in this research. All subjects were randomly assigned to 3 groups. Patients in group A solely received 131I treatment; group B1 underwent a methylprednisolone treatment in combination with 131I treatment; and group B2 received an RTX in combination with 131I treatment. Hyperthyroidism treatment outcomes, orbital volumetry, ophthalmic assessments, serum cytokine levels, and adverse effects were measured after treatment. Results: The orbital volumetry principle was significantly different from 24 weeks after the start of treatment among all 3 groups, and improvements in most ophthalmic parameters were regarded significantly different among 3 groups (all p < 0.05). The expression levels of miR-146a and most serum cytokines were regarded significantly different from 24 weeks after the start of treatment among 3 groups (all p < 0.05). Conclusions: In comparison with other therapies, RTX treatment in combination with 131I treatment is considered to be more effective for hyperthyroidism with active GO.

Abstract: This paper proposed a falling detection system based on MPU6500 senor, this system uses the method of combining hardware and mobile phone APP, the hardware bases on STM8 chip, using MPU6500 gathering human three-axis attitude angle and three-axis acceleration motion, after Kalman filtering for Euler angle and four-element method are used to calculate the human body posture angle. If the discrimination exceeds the set threshold value, turn into the discriminant of based on the characteristics acceleration vector of the SVM. The discrimination can be filtered non-falling state, achieve the purpose of accurate identification and alarm. Software supports data retrieval and improvement. Experimental results verify that the algorithm accuracy reaching 97% and have high accuracy and stability.

Abstract: To realise wide-band stealth of radar absorbing material, a special-shaped honeycomb radar absorbing structure within nested cone-shaped scattering configuration is designed. Based on the HS theory and the impedance matching design, the rule about the influence of the geometry parameter and electromagnetic parameter on the absorbing performance is analysed. In addition, the reflectivity performance is analysed on the condition of oblique incidence angles. By optimising the geometry parameters of the special-shaped honeycomb structure and designing the multilayer composite structure based on impedance matching theory, the results indicate that the two absorbing peaks can be formed for the special-shaped honeycomb radar absorbing structure, and the reflectivity is improved for both the vertical and oblique incidence angles.

Abstract: Latch-Up is a common circuit design problem in product reliability. Because of the poor design of the integrated circuit, the P-N-P-N junction in the chip is triggered by an applied current or voltage then to happen an internal latching current. The high temperature generated by the internal latching current will burn the internal circuit or cause the circuit to work abnormally. This paper is to discuss when the IC happen latch-up, we need to prepare different test sample ex. "de-cap package sample front side sample" / "de-cap package sample back side COB (chip on board) sample"/ Blue tape COB backside sample. We also compare the difference between each test samples. Finally we discuss EMMI (Emission Microscope) hot spot experiment for latch-up simulation that needs limited of current with each different COB sample. The stress current limitation will induce EMMI result, based on this fail model and improve the product Latch-up performance by reducing parasitic BJT (bipolar transistor) circuit current gain factor s.

Abstract: Due to delayed diagnosis and treatment, millions of people, especially senior citizens, suffer from visual field loss even long-term blindness. However, many blindness could be prevented by popularizing the routine inspection of visual field. In this paper, we propose a novel virtual reality design of portable automatic perimetry. The virtual reality (VR) device provides a non-light and full-field environment. Combined with its portability, it makes external light shielded, and full-field examination feasible in normal clinic ward or outpatient department as a kind of regular physical examination. To make it easier to use, we also offered several automatic human-VR interaction modes, including using straightforward eye tracking to replace traditional mouse click or button press. Owing to more friendly interaction and better portability, the novel virtual reality design of portable automatic perimetry facilitates both the subjects and clinicians to improve the efficiency of routine inspection.

Abstract: Virtual reality (VR) technology provides specific three-dimensional (3D) scenes for users, which could be benefit for the applications in the field of medical diagnosis, psychological analysis, cognitive researches and entertainments. The current VR device provides the virtual 3D images, but cannot synchronously detect the user's eye movements which could be significant for deriving the users' gaze points and interest regions in varied applications. In this paper, we proposed a smart eye tracking system for VR device. Firstly, a smart eye movement detection kit is mounted inside the VR device to capture the human eye movement images with the rate of 30 Hz. Based on the proposed eye detection kit, a gaze detection algorithm is then established for VR devices. Next, a gaze estimation model is proposed for human gaze estimation. The proposed smart eye tracking system can detect the user's eye movements in real time under VR stimulation. Moreover, it also provide a new human-VR interaction mode.

Abstract: Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders. Although the available evidence for its efficacy is inconclusive, acupuncture is used as an alternative therapy for KOA. The aim of this trial is to determine the efficacy of electro-acupuncture and manual acupuncture versus sham acupuncture for KOA.This is a study protocol for a randomised, three-arm, multicentre, clinical trial. A total of 480 patients with KOA will be randomly assigned to the electro-acupuncture group, the manual acupuncture group or the sham acupuncture group in a 1:1:1 ratio. All patients will receive 24 sessions over 8 weeks. Participants will complete the trial by visiting the research centre at week 26 for a follow-up assessment. The primary outcome is the success rate: the proportion of patients achieving a minimal clinically important improvement, which is defined as ≥2 points on the numerical rating scale and ≥6 points on the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) function score at week 8 compared with baseline. Secondary outcomes include the numerical rating scale, WOMAC score, global patient assessment and quality of life at weeks 4, 8, 16 and 26 after randomisation.This trial may provide high-quality evidence for the efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of KOA. Abstract: Background: To explore the triggering mechanism of interstitial lung disease (ILD) by establishing the effects of immunogenic and neurogenic calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) imbalance on the regulation of AQP5 expression and the repair responses to promote alveolar epithelial cell (AEC) apoptosis in pulmonary fibrosis. Methods: Newly diagnosed ILD patients (n=60) were enrolled, whoseserological levels of β-CGRP, α-CGRP, AQP5, RAMP1, and RCP were detected by ELISA. Th1 and Th2 cytokines and CD4+ and CD8+ cells were measured by flow cytometry method (FCM). In vivo, bleomycin (BLM) was set for modeling pulmonary fibrosis. The CALCA-HET model was set as a chronic pulmonary fibrosis model. Hematoxylin-eosin (H&E), immunohistochemistry, Masson's trichrome staining, and TUNEL staining was performed to assess the role of apoptosis in the injured lung. The concentrations of cytokines were determined by cytokine antibody arrays. Results: Abnormal activation of serological CD4+T lymphocytes and predominant Th2 response was established in patients with ILD. Moreover, the ratio of β-CGRP/α-CGRP was positively correlated with the increased level of AQP5 in patients with ILD. In vivo, a significant increase of AQP5 and β-CGRP at the chronic stage of pulmonary fibrosis induced by bleomycin in mice model, whereas the expression of AQP5 protein was the generally decreased in the acute alveolitis phase. Moreover, the levels of AQP5 and α-CGRP in the CALCA-HET rats were elevated. The high ratio βCGRP/α-CGRP enhanced the expression of AQP5, inhibited TGFβ1/PSmad1/Smad4 pathway, and upregulated NRF2 signal, whereas the apoptosis of alveolar epithelial cells was significantly reduced in late-stage pulmonary fibrosis. Conclusions: The high ratio of β-CGRP/α-CGRP induced predominant Th2 response and promoted AEC apoptosis through inactivation of the TGFβ1/smad1 signaling pathway and upregulation of the Nrf2 signaling in the chronic stage of pulmonary fibrosis. Abstract: Understanding and recognizing driving behavior is critical for traffic safety. In this paper, we propose a clustering-based systematic method to analyze and recognize driving behavior. Different from the past driving behavior recognition, we introduce wavelet analysis to get more accurately localized temporal and frequency information, and we also significantly reduce the feature dimension by the algorithm of applying metric learning to clustering. In our experiment, with only a 4-dimensional feature set, seven different driving events can be classified with a high accuracy of 97%. The proposed systematic method is universal, efficient and has a solid theoretical basis.

Abstract: Aim of review: Through this review of observational study designs, we aim to advocate the use of non-interventional studies for clinical researches in anesthesiology.Method: We discussed the statistical considerations in selecting study design and the analysis. The major consideration is to reduce the bias and improvement efficiency. Reduction of bias through design (e.g.: randomization, matching etc.) is more preferable. However, a more objective design such as the randomized clinical trial is often not feasible. In this case, observational study designs accompanied with more advanced and complete statistical analysis can reduce the bias and improve efficiency. The cross-sectional, case-control, and cohort study designs are discussed with the advantages and limitations.Recent findings: With the rapid development of clinical researches in anesthesiology in past 15 years, observational studies are still yet to be understood and utilized.Summary: Through this review, we expect to raise more attention in the use of observational studies in clinical researches in the area of anesthesiology. Abstract: With the wide use of lithium battery, its online monitoring and residual capacity prediction have been paid much attention. There are two methods for predicting the residual capacity of lithium batteries, namely model method and data-driven method. The traditional model method requires in-depth understanding of the material characteristics and aging mechanism of the battery. However, it is difficult to establish an accurate model due to the complex electrochemical reactions in the battery and the vulnerability to external factors. The data-driven law has been applied more widely because of its good applicability and flexibility. This paper presents a method of battery capacity prediction based on fuzzy logic and neural networks. The lithium battery data published by PCoE are selected for the test, and the results show that the prediction error of the method for the residual capacity of single battery is less than 2%, which indicates that the method has a good applicability for the complex nonlinear system of lithium battery pack, and can obtain accurate battery capacity prediction value, and it has a good application prospect.

Abstract: Molecular research is increasingly dependent on high-quality biobanked biospecimens. Preanalytical variables in tissue processing and preservation may influence the RNA quality and research results. Hence, the effect of long-term storage and clinicopathological parameters on RNA quality needs to be elucidated.Ninety gastric cancer tissue samples were collected and fresh-frozen in a -80°C freezer for 12 years (2006-2017). The histology was assessed and RNA integrity number (RIN) was detected by an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. The impact of storage duration on RNA integrity and histomorphology was analyzed. The difference between RIN values and clinical variables was analyzed. Correlations between pathological parameters such as tumor cell percentage, stroma percentage, necrosis extent, cellularity, and RIN were assessed, respectively.Long-term storage at -80°C for 12 years did not adversely affect RNA integrity and histomorphology. RNA integrity was also not influenced by tumor location, estimated blood loss, cold/warm ischemia time, and surgical approach. However, RIN values were significantly correlated with the tumor cell percentage and stroma percentage. Gastric cancer tissues with higher tumor cell percentage or lower stroma percentage had higher RIN values.RNA quality of fresh-frozen gastric cancer tissues is influenced by clinical and histological parameters. Standard tissue collection procedure and histological quality control remain essential for tissue biobanking.

Abstract: This paper investigates the spacecraft rendezvous problem with target spacecraft in an arbitrary elliptical orbit. The Lawden equations are used to describe the relative motion of two spacecrafts. An inverse optimal method is introduced to deal with the stabilization problem. With Lyapunov analysis, a group of inverse optimal control laws is presented, which guarantees that, the whole system is asymptotically stable, and at the same time, is optimal with respect to a performance index incorporating a positive penalty on the states and the control input. Further- more, a group of modified control laws is obtained, which stabilizes the closed-loop system under input constraints. Simulation results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Abstract: Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN) are life-threatening disease. However, there are only few epidemiologic studies of SJS/TEN from China. To analyze the clinical characteristics, causality, and outcome of treatment for SJS/TEN in China, we reviewed case reports of patients with SJS/TEN from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Wanfang database from 2006 to 2016 and patients with SJS/TEN who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University during the same period. There were 166 patients enrolled, including 70 SJS, 2 SJS/TEN overlap, and 94 TEN. The most common offending drugs were antibiotics (29.5%) and anticonvulsants (24.1%). Carbamazepine, allopurinol, and penicillins were the most common single offending drugs (17.5%, 9.6%, and 7.2%). Chinese patent medicines accounted for 5.4%. There were 76 (45.8%) patients receiving systemic steroid and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) in combination therapy, especially for TEN (80.3%), and others were treated with systemic steroids alone. Mortality rate of combination treatment comparing with steroid alone in TEN patients had no statistical significance. In conclusion, carbamazepine and allopurinol were the leading causative drugs for SJS/TEN in China. Combination of IVIG and steroids is a common treatment for TEN, but its efficacy in improving mortality needs further investigation.

Abstract: A modular-multilevel (MMC) DC/DC converter is proposed in this paper, which can be deployed to inter-connect DC grid of different voltage levels, especially in the new energy sources such as wind power and solar power grid connection. Its key features include: 1) step-up and step-down operation. 2) bidirectional power flowing. 3) bi-directional fault blocking similar to a DC breaker. The operation principle of DC/DC MMC is analyzed, and a control strategy is proposed to ensure power balance of every sub module capacitor. Simulations are performed with Matlab-Simulik to validate the principle of operation and the proposed control strategy.

Abstract: By combining reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) analysis approach, which has been implemented by domestic and international nuclear power plants for years and the development of related maintenance optimization techniques, this article analyzes deficiencies of traditional RCM analysis and provides the improved RtCM to strengthen technical analysis and improve analysis efficiency and quality. This article also provides cases in which RtCM is applied into CPR1000 nuclear power plant. It has the extraordinary significance for establishing a sound maintenance management program and maintenance optimization program in nuclear power plants and improving the safety, reliability, and economic benefits of plant’s operations. Meanwhile, this paper provides an important direction and thought for the development of domestic and international maintenance optimization techniques.

45. Girder crack of concrete single pylon cable-stayed bridge

Abstract: Taking the reinforcement and maintenance project of a concrete cable-stayed bridge as the background, aiming at the stress cracks on the web of the box girder of the main bridge after several years of operation, starting from the actual situation of design and construction, the integral calculation model of the bridge is established by Midas Civil and the local analysis and calculation model of the main girder is established by the general finite element software. Four kinds of analysis and calculation models are analyzed. Finally, it is shown that the web cracks of the bridge are caused by the cable tension when the bridge is cantilevered. On this basis, the concrete and feasible bonded steel plate method is proposed to repair and strengthen the cracks, which is of certain reference significance for the reinforcement and maintenance of the same type of bridge cracks in the future.

46. Electro-static discharge failure analysis and design optimization of gate-driver on array circuit in InGaZnO thin film transistor backplane

Abstract: There is a risk of InGaZnO thin film transistor (IGZO TFT) failure, especially electro-static discharge (ESD) damage of gate driver on array (GOA) circuits, due to the combination of Cu interconnect, InGaZnO (IGZO) active layer and SiNx/SiO2 insulating layer used to realize large-scale ultra-high resolution display. It is found that the IGZO TFT damage position caused by ESD occurs between the source/drain metal layer and the gate insulator. The Cu metal of gate electrode diffuses into the gate insulator of SiNx/SiO2. The closer to the ESD damage area the IGZO TFT is, the more serious the negative bias of its threshold voltage (Vth) is until the device is fully turned on. The IGZO TFT with a large channel width-to-length ratio(W/L) in GOA circuit results in a serious negative bias of threshold voltage. In this paper, the ESD failure problem of GOA circuit in the IGZO TFT backplane is systematically analyzed by combining the ESD device level analysis with the system level analysis, which combines IGZO TFT device technology, difference in metal density between GOA region and active area on backplane, non-uniform thickness distribution of gate metal layer and gate insulator and so on. In the analysis of ESD device level, we propose that the diffusion of Cu metal from gate electrode into SiNx/SiO2 leads to the decrease of effective gate insulator layer, and that the built-in space charge effect leads to the decrease of the anti-ESD damage ability of IGZO TFT. In the analysis of ESD system level, we propose that the density of metal layers in GOA region is 4.5 times higher than that in active area of display panel, which makes the flatness of metal layer in GOA region worse. The non-uniformity of thickness of Cu metal film, SiNx film and SiO2 film around glass substrate lead to the position dependence of the anti-ESD damage ability of IGZO TFT in the GOA region. If there is a transition zone of film thickness change in IGZO TFT with large area, the ESD failure will occur easily. Accordingly, we propose to split large area IGZO TFT into several sub-TFT structures, which can effectively improve the ESD failure.

47. Electro-static discharge protection analysis and design optimization of interlayer Cu interconnection in InGaZnO thin film transistor backplane

Abstract: The InGaZnO thin film transistor (IGZO TFT) backplane combined with Cu interconnection has nearly an order of magnitude lower in the ability to withstand voltage than that of traditional a-Si TFT backplane on the production line. The breakdown voltage of Mo/Cu interconnection between data line and gate line is only about 60% of that of traditional a-Si TFT backplane. The electrostatic discharge (ESD) breakdown of Mo/Cu:SiNx/SiO2:Mo/Cu structure has become an important factor affecting the normal display of IGZO TFT ultra high definition (UHD) panel. We find that the anti-ESD damage ability of IGZO TFT devices needs matching with the anti-ESD damage ability of interlayer Cu interconnection in order to achieve a high-robustness IGZO TFT backplane. The position of ESD damage in IGZO TFT backplane is commonly in the climbing place where the data line crosses the scanning line. In this paper, a Cu diffusion model is proposed to explain the mechanism for the ESD failure of interlayer Cu interconnection. The Cu metal in gate line diffuses into SiNx/SiO2 gate insulator, and Cu metal at the corner of data line, where the date line crosses the gate line, diffuses into SiO2 film on the date line. The selection conditions of three kinds of protection architectures for ESD protection circuits around Cu interconnection, i.e. R-type, R-half-type, and Diode-type protection architectures, are proposed. On the basis of process optimization such as Cu metal film forming and Cu metal interface treatment, an ESD protection method for the Cu interconnection periphery of IGZO TFT backplane with high robustness is proposed. For the stable production process of IGZO TFT, combined with the design window of ESD protection circuit, the peripheral ESD protection circuit of Cu interconnect is designed with diode-type protection circuit on the IGZO TFT backplane of large-sized UHD and QUHD panel, which effectively improves the effect of interlayer Cu interconnection of IGZO TFT backplane on ESD damage. Through the production verification, it is proved that the metal diffusion of Cu interconnection on IGZO TFT backplane is the fundamental reason for reducing the anti-ESD damage ability of Mo/Cu:SiNx/SiO2:Mo/Cu structure. The rationality of the proposed ESD damage model for interlayer Cu interconnection is verified, which provides a theoretical basis for subsequent IGZO TFT backplane design with high robustness.

Abstract: Establishing a universal model to characterize the relationship between light rays and optical waves is of great significance in optics. The ray model provides us with an intuitive way to study the propagation of beams as well as their interaction between objects. Traditional ray model is based on the normal of a beam wave front. The normal vector is defined as the direction of ray. However, it fails to describe the relationship between light ray and optical wave in the neighborhood of focus or caustic lines/surface since light ray in those regions are no longer perpendicular to the wavefront. In this work, the ray model of a light beam is built according to its Fourier angular spectrum, where the positions of rays can be determined by the gradient of the phase of the Fourier angular spectrum. On the other hand, the Fourier angular spectrum of a light beam can be reconstructed through the ray model. Using Fourier angular spectra, we construct the ray model of two typical beams including the Airy beam and the Cusp beam. It is hard to construct ray model directly from the optical field of these beams. In this ray model, the information about ray including direction and position involves the propagation properties of light beams such as self-accelerating. In addition, we demonstrate that the optical field of the focused plane wave can be reconstructed by the ray model in Fourier regime, and the optical field in spatial domain can be obtained by inverse Fourier transform. Simulation results are consistent with the results from Debye’s method. Finally, the high-dimensional ray model of light beams is elaborated in both spatial and spectral regime. Combined with focused plane wave, Airy beam and rays in quadratic gradient-index waveguide, our results show that the ray model actually carries the information about optical field in both spatial and Fourier domain. Actually, the traditional ray model is just a spatial projection of the high-dimensional ray model. Hence, when traditional ray model fails at the focus or caustic lines/surface, it is able to obtain the spectrum of the corresponding optical field from the Fourier domain, and then obtain the field distribution in spatial domain by inverse Fourier transform.

49. Image Registration Method Based on Optimized SURF Algorithm

Abstract: In order to solve the time consuming problem of image registration based on the traditional SURF algorithm, the image registration method based on the optimized SURF algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the image corner points are extracted by the Shi-Tomasi algorithm, then, the SURF algorithm is used to generate the corner point descriptors and the sparse principle algorithm is used to reduce the dimension of the corner point descriptors. Finally, the bidirectional matching algorithm is used to match. Through the experimental data analysis, the image registration method based on the optimized SURF algorithm is nearly the same in image registration accuracy in comparison with the traditional SIFT algorithm, the traditional SURF algorithm and the other four optimized algorithms, but the time consuming of image registration is decreased by 79.09%, 47.74%, 66.25%, 50.79%, 21.43% and 5.13%, respectively, verifying the instantaneity and effectiveness of the algorithm.
