This study aims to prove the validity test and estimate the instrument's reliability to measure student achievement in the department of architectural engineering education in Indonesia. The cluster random sampling technique was used to determine the number of students consisting of 103 vocational education students. This study uses a survey method to examine and analyze the structure of students' competency achievements factors. The collected empirical data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). EFA test is intended to reveal factors that can be formed from instruments that have been established for measurement of achievements of vocational student competencies. The analysis results using EFA showed that the instrument had good construct validity. The result of this research shows that the instrument test for measuring the achievement of student competencies has good reliability and consists of 30 competency items covering ten competency aspects, namely general competencies, technical drawing, statically structures, basic building construction, land measurement engineering, software application and building interior design, road and bridge construction, estimated construction costs, building construction and utility, creative and entrepreneurship product competencies.

Stunting/pendek merupakan penggambaran dari status gizi kurang yang bersifat kronik pada masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sejak awal kehidupan. Banyak faktor yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya stunting pada balita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian stunting di Kecamatan Cigandamekar Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan case control, penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambil data primer. Populasi penelitian seluruh balita stunting di Kecamatan Cigandamekar. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian analisa univariat dari 100 balita menderita stunting, pemberian ASI 64 orang (64.0%), riwayat berat badan lahir normal 58 orang atau (58.0%), status gizi baik 61 orang atau (61.0%). Hasil dari analisis bivariat diketahui bahwa pemberian ASI dengan balita stunting pendek 61 orang atau 95.3%, BBL normal >2500 dengan balita stunting 41 orang atau 70.7%, status gizi baik dengan balita stunting 48 orang atau 78.7%. Pemberian ASI (p- value= 0,000, OR=101667), berat badan lahir (p-value=0,356, OR=1.484), status gizi (p-value= 0,002, OR=3.887). Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan antara Pemberian ASI, dan status gizi terhadap kejadian stunting. Dengan demikian diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemberian ASI dan porsi makanan yang bergizi, sehingga kejadian stunting tidak terjadi, dan Indonesia menjadi bebas stunting.

Background: Stunting is a condition of toddlers who have less length or height compared to age. Toddler stunting is a chronic nutritional problem caused by many factors, one of which is LBW. Babies born with LBW will be at high risk of morbidity, mortality, infectious diseases, underweight and stunting in the early neonatal period to childhood. The purpose of this study is to determine the association between Low Birth Weight (LBW) with the incidence of stunting in toddlers (aged 24-59 months) in the Way Urang Community Health Center in South Lampung Regency. Method: This study uses an observational analytic method with a case control study design. LBW data is secondary data obtained by looking at the birth weight data of children under five listed in the Maternal and Child Health book Way Urang Community Health Center data. The statistical analysis uses the Chi Square test. Result: There is an association of Low Birth Weight (LBW) with the occurrence of stunting in toddlers (aged 24-59 months) in Way Urang Community Health Center South Lampung Regency. P value= 0,024. Conclusion: There is a significant association of Low Birth Weight with the incidence of stunting in toddlers (aged 24-59 months) in the Way Urang Community Health Center in South Lampung Regency. Complementary feeding of breastfeeding for a child for six months (growth mass) is very effective in overcoming stunting, which is accompanied by an increase in the quality of health examination services (ANC) during pregnancy and delivery at health care facilities

The Study of supply chain risk in shallot commodity needs to take more concern. This is related to the increasing number of risks that faced in different the Industrial and business world. Based on these risks, currently the condition of the Shallot commodity supply chain performance is less than expected. In Relations of existence of risks in the supply chain, risk management plays an important role in keeping the supply chain system in order to be not disrupted. Risk Management is the part. Risk management is an integral part of the management process that runs continuously to minimize losses either increase opportunities or opportunities. This risk management process starts from the process of risk identification, risk assessment, mitigation, monitoring and evaluation. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the risk of supply chain shallot commodity. The Step that has to do is risk identification, risk analyze, and risk evaluation of supply chain. House of Risk (HOR) model is the method that used to identification, analyze, and evaluation the risk of shallot commodity.

Malaria is a major worldwide contagious disease, including Indonesia, and is an important public health issue. Prevalence of malaria among pregnant women and its risk factors in Pesawaran, Lampung Province are currently unknown. This study was a cross-sectional study using rapid survey method. Data was analyzed with chi square and logistic regression. Malaria prevalence was 47.6 per mile, spread over 5 out of 11 sub-districts. One important information was the discovery of pregnant women with malaria in non-endemic districts. The result of bivariate analysis proved a relationship between knowledge and malaria with p-value 0.007 and Odds Ratio (OR) 10. Maternal behavior had p-value of 0.009, OR 9, while usage of mosquito nets had p-value of 0.01, OR 5. The multivariate analysis model formula found was Y (pregnant woman with malaria) = -7.546 + 2.353 (knowledge) + 2.270 (usage of mosquito net) + 2.250 (house condition), and pregnant woman probability of malaria 33.9%. Prevention efforts should be done through strengthening of integrated maternal class groups into malaria programs in all areas.

The majority of local population living close to the rubber plantation are farmers. Some of them lived under the proverty line. The management of rubber estate, in fact, ignored local culture. Both situation, the proverty and lack of corporates social responsibility caused intensive conflicts. The objectives of this research describe: the factors fromulated social capital’s value and the role of social capital in conflict resolution in rubber estate. The constituants of the conflict consist of: the management of rubber estate, internal staff, the local people, local leaders also local and outside traders. This conflict involved: encrochment for agriculture, collecting fire woods illegally and stone mining illegally. In this case, the role of social capital values can described by many activities. The management is required to consider the aspirations of local people and to develop social network between the rubber estate with the local community; in particulary with local leaders; to develope the good exchange with local community, especially funds for social funtions; recruitment of the local people to work in the plantation; supply fresh water; all of which is aplication of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the rubber estate. In the mean time, the local people are requested to participate in the maintenance and sustainability of the rubber estate

Parents always want the best for their children based on their abilities, including education. For this reason, the concept of assimilation in accordance with the wishes of parents is very useful for schools in mapping prospective applicants. The purpose of this study is to identify: a) what factors that considered by students’ parents in choosing schools and b) which factors are the most dominant for making decisions in determining schools. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a multi-site design. Data in this study were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed with an interactive data analysis model consisting of three stages, which are: data reduction, data display, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that a) the mix factors that are considered by parents in choosing a school are: product, price, location, human resources, and process; and b) the dominant factor being considered by parents in choosing schools, which are products, processes, prices, human resources and location, as well as the foundation of the school's religious philosophy and long-standing positive image. This study recommends that schools that want to increase the number of students should make an increase in the dominant factors into consideration for parents in choosing schools for their children.

Purpose This study aims to test the causality of fraud diamond factors (pressure, rationalization, opportunity and capability) and Machiavellian personality on fraud intention. Design/methodology/approach This study used a 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 web-based laboratory experiment. Our subjects are accounting students from various Indonesian universities as surrogates of an accountant of a firm. We analyzed the data using the independent t-test. Findings This study provides empirical evidence that the four aspects of fraud diamond, namely pressure, opportunity, rationalization and capability cause fraud intention. Besides, high Machiavellian attitude also causes high fraud intention. Research limitations/implications This study is a Web-based one that is subject to the instability of internet access. Specifically, some subjects had to redo the completion of their experimental modules because of the unstable internet connection. Practical implications The results of this study suggest organizations to pay attention to their members’ behavioral aspects that can be the symptoms of fraud and to design whistleblowing systems to prevent fraud intention as an opportunity factor within organizations. Social implications Social implications are to develop the appropriate whistleblowing system to mitigate the fraud. Originality/value The novelty of this study lies in combining the experimental test of fraud diamond (internal and external factors) and Machiavellianism as a personality factor as the determinants of fraud intention. Further, another novelty lies in the use of the antifraud system as a proxy of opportunity that has not yet extensively investigated by previous studies.

The purpose of this study was to describe teacher activities, children's activities and the development of children's cognitive abilities in matching numbers with number symbols using a combination of Demonstration, make a Match model, assisted by Audio-Visual Media in group B of TK RA Citra Islami Banjarmasin. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of classroom action research (CAR). Sources of data in this study were teacher and child group B of TK RA Citra Islami Banjarmasin located on Jalan Kelayan B Komplek 10 Gang H. Thaberi RT. 13 Banjarmasin. The research instrument used by researchers to retrieve data is observation. The results of this study illustrate that the teacher's activities have been carried out according to the steps that have been set with very good criteria. Child activity increases in each cycle with very active criteria. Development of cognitive aspects of children in matching numbers with number symbols using a combination of Demonstration, make a Match model, assisted by Audio-Visual Media in group B TK RA Citra Islami Banjarmasin has improved with the criteria of developing very well. The suggestion of this study is expected to be a guideline in learning activities using the combined Demonstration, Make a Match model, assisted by Audio-Visual Media in an effort to improve the quality of learning on cognitive aspects and provide input for subsequent researchers to be able to increase creativity in carrying out the research process.

Objective: Aim of this study is to identify risk factors associated with erectile dysfunction in post-transurethral prostate resection (TURP) patients for the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Material & Methods: During 2019, 22 patients met the TURP indication criteria in the urology polyclinic of Koja Hospital for symptomatic BPH management. All patients underwent transabdominal ultrasonography to confirm prostate volume and underwent laboratory tests to measure serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA). History of comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular events, and hypertension was recorded. The patient's sexual function was determined using the International Index of Erectile Function questionnaire (IIEF-5) before surgery and six months postoperatively, where erectile dysfunction was established for scores below 21. Mean comparisons were made to see if there was a significant change in IIEF score six months postoperatively. Results: There were 22 subjects as samples with a mean age of 63 ± 3.8 years, prostate volume 47.64 ± 5.5 mL and a median PSA level of 3.3 [1-47] ng/dL. The comorbidities found in the subjects were diabetes mellitus (22.7%), cardiovascular events (36.4%), and hypertension (27.3%). The mean IIEF-5 score before surgery was 14.55 ± 0.78 and was not significantly different (p= 0.225) with a reevaluation six months after surgery of 14.18 ± 0.76. Conclusion: There was no change in the severity of erectile dysfunction in patients undergoing TURP surgery.

Problem solving is one of the competencies that students must have starting from basic education. High school graduates are expected to have the skills and ability to solve problems to face the challenges of an increasingly competitive nation. The low ability of problem solving in students can result in the low quality of human resources. Therefore, teachers are required to be able to choose appropriate learning methods and models so that students’ problem-solving skills can be realized. Changes in teaching strategies need to be done so that learning is not centered on the teacher but on students, so that students tend to be active in finding their own answers or solutions to a problem and applying it in everyday life. This study aims to describe the skill level of high school students to solve science problems in the environment. The method used is descriptive quantitative to get a overview of the skills of high school students in solving science problems in the environment. The data collection technique was in the form of a written test. The research variable is the skills of high school students in solving science problems in the environment. The research sample was high school students of science study program in East Java who used purposive sampling. Overall, the average percentage of high school students’ skill results in solving science problems in the good category was 78.74%.

77.7% of IVF patients have high anxiety and 83.3% of patients have failed IVF programs. The strong desire to have a biological child and the process of IVF that is not easy, makes patients protective of the IVF process that is being undertaken. If patients experience health complaints, then patients immediately communicate with fertility doctors through the existing communication media. However, the slow time doctors give answers to patients, is a cause of increased anxiety of patients. Doctors have a strong desire to be able to quickly answer questions from patients, but are constrained by other medical activities that are the responsibility of doctors. Research aims to find a smart system method that can help IVF patients control anxiety and help fertility doctors answer questions from IVF patients. Primary data triangulation to obtain valid data, strengthened by validity testing and reliability testing. Secondary data to obtain evidence of the accuracy of a case-based reasoning (CBR) smart system and the challenges of producing quality system outputs. Based on the results of primary and secondary data analysis, a CBR modification was carried out by adding the role of patient feedback as a quality controller for system output. Anova test resulted in the value of F = 9902 and the coefficient test resulted in a value of t = 3147. The result of the research is a modified CBR for a smart system that helps IVF patients control anxiety and helps fertility doctors answer IVF patient anxiety questions quickly and accurately.

Reducing cases The prevalence of tuberculosis (TB) is still a global problem. Indonesia is still in the list of ten countries with high TB burden. This is due to the fact that the management of TB epidemic handling information is still partial, which is managed by each stakeholder, including the ministry of health as a provider of TB patient data, health facilities as a provider of patient care data, and TB non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as providers of accompanying data and information take medicine for patients. In addition, some TB information requires data analysis, while the technology currently used uses Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) for data and system integration. But MOM cannot meet TB information needs because it depends on the metadata structure. This research tries to offer a new data integration architecture and system as a middleware application that has layers of data analysis from various metadata sources (TB dictionaries). The method used is Service Computing Systems Engineering Life Cycle. The results of this study are a model of data integration architecture and system design called Service-Oriented Middleware (SOM) for managing TB information. The SOM model can also be used as a reference in the integration of data, systems and data analysis modules to provide information services according to the needs of the company's business processes. Thus, each stakeholder involved can obtain complete data and information, as well as patients get a care service system that can help end the TB epidemic.

The administrative process innovation was adopted with enthusiasm by the Western advanced industrialized countries and was taken for granted as a superior approach that should be practiced. However, public organizations in Indonesia are structured and run differently making public sector employees may have different views toward new ways of doing the job. This article aims to reveal who innovates in the organization by analyzing typical personality traits. The hypotheses are tested through a sample of 200 employees of public universities located in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, and structural equation modeling is used. Applying Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), the five-factor personality in this research is labeled as adjustment (neuroticism), sociability (extraversion), likeability (agreeableness), prudence (conscientiousness), and school success (openness to experience). The results are discussed regarding the implications for what one can learn from individual-level studies of personality and innovation. Every new policy by Indonesian government in National Examination (NE) implementation always obtains different respond from public. Since the implementation, NE system already experienced many changes, but in recent years this system receives serious critiques. As a result, government then abolished this system as graduation determinant in 2014. This research analyzes public opinion, in the form of positive and negative sentiment toward NE policy, and factors that drive the opinions. Data in this research obtained from online news media from 2012 to 2015. The result shows that public sentiment fluctuating from year to year and depends on three important factors, i.e. political pressure, extreme events, and media coverage.

Climate change has been occurring in every part of the world for the last two decades, including Indonesia. This phenomenon constitutes key emerging threat to marine ecosystems and fisheries resources as well as to societies that depend on these coastal environment and natural resources for food and livelihood. Nowadays, coastal adaptation to climate change is one of the tremendous challenges for coastal communities. The east coast of Sidoarjo regency has one of the widest mudflat areas in East Java, with high sedimentation rate which is originated from Brantas Watershed. This area, specifically in Kepetingan Hamlet, Sawohan Village, is heavily impacted by tidal floods twice a year and this is considered the most vulnerable place in Sidoarjo coastal area. In terms of a climate change adaptation measures, it is important to assess the resilience of these communities. This research aimed to analyse the recent condition of Kepetingan Hamlet and to investigate the factors which increases local community vulnerability due to climate change impact. We conducted this research by undergoing field observations including interviews with related stakeholders. This result expected to provide a bigger picture about Kepetingan Hamlet and to provide the suitable adaptation strategies for building resilience in facing climate change.

The operation of oil well drilling is essential for the production of oil and gas, it is the key process in oil and gas production and exploration industry. The drilling activity is challenging due to many uncertainties in the geological aspect and unknown behavior of the drill string while interacting with a downhole formation. In tripping operation, the axial speed of the drill string can be critical since it generates pressure surge or swab. Surge and swab pressures become very critical in wells having small window pressure between pore and fracture pressure. This surge or swab pressure must be controlled to prevent drilling problems such as lost circulation, wellbore damage, gas kick, and blowout. In order to control the axial velocity of a drill string, an accurate drill string dynamic model is necessary. This model must be able to represent the main dynamics of the real drill string. Another model that is also important is a pressure dynamic model that describes the dynamic of mud pressure changes in a wellbore due to axial movement of the drill string. The challenges and considerations in tripping operations are mentioned. This study will enhance the understanding of drilling problems due to surge or swab pressures and its corresponding mathematical model representation. Simulation and its results are presented in the final section of this paper. It shows the possibility to estimate the downhole pressure by using surface data and shows that there is a coupling between an axial movement of the drill string and pressure changes in the bottom hole.

Objectives: Tetralogy of Fallot (ToF) is a congenital heart defect that is often found in children. Complication that can occur is infective endocarditis caused by bacteria that are often found in the oral cavity. Children with ToF are in a high risk of caries, especially in primary dentition. Preparation of the oral cavity must be done before the cardiac surgery. A proper examination and diagnosis of caries is required in determining the dental treatment to reduce the risk of infective endocarditis. Case Report: A boy aged 4 years, weighing 20 kg came to the pediatric dentistry clinic in Surabaya on a referral from Kediri. The patient had ToF with high caries index and will undergo cardiac corrective surgery. Through a brief anamnesis, it was found that this patient's fingernails and lips easily turn blue (cyanosis) if the patient is in an anxious condition. The panoramic photo shows teeth 51, 52, 54, 61, 62, 74, 84 showing radiolucent images from the enamel to the pulp chamber. Conclusion: Prophylactic antibiotics should be given to ToF patients before procedures involving the gingiva and pulp. Radiographs are needed to help establish the diagnosis and plan treatment. Proper oral and dental care must be taken to prevent the occurrence of infective endocarditis. Errors in determining the diagnosis can lead to errors in the treatment plan and increase the risk of infective endocarditis.

Student worksheet science based on process image is a printed material that presents a series of images of objects (objects, events, or phenomena), the images in the series between each other always appear to be relatively different in terms (state, position, shape, Combinations) which as a whole illustrate a coherent stage of events in a unified whole. A student worksheet is able to facilitate students in reviewing the material independently, so that materialised learning the science of student centred learning. The purpose of this study is to examine the use of student worksheet based on the image of light concept process for practical and effective junior high school student learning. This research design uses one group pretest-posttest design. The result of the research shows that learning activity is increasing up to reach 83,18%, and respondent gives a positive response with 'good' criterion. N-gain increased understanding of the concept of light by 0.628 on moderate criteria and supported with retention of 99.6%. The use of student worksheets based on the image of light concept process is practical and effective for improving students' understanding, as well as knowledge can be stored for longer in student memory.

Biology learning cannot be separated from visual activities which a part of process skill approach. Visual activities involve process and supported by images. Meanwhile, the images are something that can depute real objects and have the same character of colours and shape as the original. The process is a series activities which take place gradually and continuously to achieve a goal. As for 'process image' is the series of pictures which visualise a phenomenon or a natural fact, so that students can understand the concepts and theories of biology that deals with the pictures. This paper aimed to describe the role of 'process image' to enhance High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), retentions, process skills and learning achievements. The method of this research was analysed from some international journals about the effectiveness of process pictures in the Biology learning. Media of process image has many advantages in a visualisation of abstract concepts in the biology learning.

Background : Health worker performance is one of the key elements that determine the quality of hospital service. Health worker performance therefore is the target forimprovement. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between motivation, competence, workload of nurses, and nurse performance. Subjects and Method : This was an analytical observational study with cross sectional design. This study was conducted at Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Hospital, Wonogiri, Indonesia. A total of 50 nurses was sampled for this study.The independent variables consisted of motivation, competence, and workload. The dependent variable was performance of nurse. The data were collected by a questionnaire and analyzed by multiple linear regression model. Results : This study did not find relationship between motivation and performance of nurse (b = 0.02; 95% CI=-0.19 to 0.24; p= 0.823). Similarly there was no relationship workload and perfor­mance of nurse (b=0.05; 95% CI= -0.15 to 0.26; p = 0.607). There was a positive and statististically significant relationship between competence and performance of nurse (b = 1.10; 95% CI= 1.75 to 0.46; p= 0.001). Conclusion : There is a positive and statistically significant relationship between competence and performance of nurse. Tuberculosis is a chronic disease with a long-time treatment of 6 months or more, self-efficacy in patients is needed routinely to taking medicine which will achieve healing so that it can prevent the transmission of the disease. The patient should have self-efficacy, which is an individual's belief in managing certain behaviors to achieve their healing. Adherence is the level of the patient carrying out treatment methods and behaviors suggested by his doctor or someone else. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between self-efficacy to adherence to taking anti-tuberculosis drugs at Panjang Health Center. The study was conducted in September-November 2018 using the Cross-Sectional method. There were 78 respondents in Panjang Health Center following the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection is done by direct interview assisted by a questionnaire guide. The questionnaire used was the Self-Efficacy Questionnaire to assess self-efficacy levels and Morinsky Medication Adherence Scales to assess respondent's medication adherence. The results of the analysis of respondents with 100% effectiveness have a high drug-taking relationship. The conclusion showed a significant correlation between self-efficacy and medication adherence to TBC patients in Panjang Health Center (p-value=0,00).

This study aims to explore indicate that lecturer learning performance is an important factor for lecturers in the Civil Engineering Education Study Program. Participatory altruistic leadership styles, competence, quality knowledge, smart working are very important to be measured to explain their effects on learning performance. If the lecturer has high competence and quality knowledge and is supported by appropriate leadership, it will have an impact on smart working, which in the end will achieve learning performance. This research was conducted of lecturers of civil engineering education throughout Indonesia and a sample of 76 peoples. The research method was conducted with quantitative and data analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM). Regression coefficient result that relationship between competence with smart working, participatory altruistic with smart working and quality of knowledge with smart working were 0.80, 0.86 and 0.81. Regression coefficient result that relationship between smart woking with learning performance, participatory altruistic with learning performance, quality knowledge with smart working and competence with smart working were 0.99, 0.91, 0.88, and 0.88.

The popularity of batik in Indonesia was increasing nevertheless, however batik Banyumasan seemed difficult to penetrate the market. Banyumas Batik is still less pamor compared to the batik of Pekalongan, Solo, and Yogyakarta, this is seen from low productivity and also the product has not been able to penetrate the export market. This research aims to identify factors that affect the competitiveness of KUB Batik Banyumasan as well as analyze and determine the strategic position of KUB Batik Banyumasan (Pringmas KUB case study). In identifying the factors influencing the competitiveness and strategic position used Diamond Porter model, value chain, VRIO, IFAS, EFAS and SFAS matrix. The respondent in this study were divided into expert respondent and the company's internal informant. Based on the results of the score calculation on the internal factor and the external factor of Banyumasan batik’s industry KUB Pringmas obtained in the quadrant I indicate the position of the company is highly profitable, the company has the opportunity and strength, so can take advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy that must be set for the company in this position is to support the growth oriented strategy.

Mobile payment in Indonesia is designed to help the growth of online transport, such as GO-J ek with mobile payment products, which is the GO-Pay mobile payment to make it easier for customers to pay drivers and merchants. The study was carried out for the analysis and evaluation of the acceptance of technology in the mobile payment GO-Pay using the technology acceptance model (TAM). The research was carried out using the quantitative research approach by obtaining 284 active respondents using the GO-Pay mobile payment. The research question in this research is whether GO-Pay as a mobile payment system can be accepted in Indonesia? The result of this research is factor of perceived about usefulness, ease of use, mobility, and the attitude factor can make GO-Pay as mobile payment is acceptable in Indonesia. For the perceived trust, it is not a significant effect, but the effect on perceived trust is perceived reputation, while for the environmental risk it does not affect the perceived reputation.

This research aims to identify the effectiveness of STEM-based Science Student Worksheet in improving multiple representation abilities of junior high school students. This research is expected to be the basis to find out more about the success rate of students through the use of STEM-based Science Student Worksheet. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Rowokangkung, Lumajang Regency, precisely on 10, 12, 14 and 16 March 2018 in class VIIIC which amounted to 23 students, in Even Semester of Lesson Year 2017/2018. The design of this study is a pre-experimental one-pretest-posttest design. The result of the research shows that based on the average value of each cycle, there is improvement found in student multiple representation capabilities after using STEM-based Science Student Worksheet. It is characterized by the average of the post-test score that is better than the average of pre-test score. The increasing multiple representation abilities can also be seen from the N-gain value in each cycle which belongs to the high category with the value of N-gain of the 1st cycle is 0.702, the 2nd cycle is 0.747, the 3rd cycle is 0.700, and the 4th cycle is 0.707. Based on the research, it can be concluded that STEM-based Science Student Worksheet is effective to improve multiple representation abilities of junior high school students.

Cities in Asia are at risk from climate change, amplifying current hazards and introducing sea-level rise. Various efforts mitigating these challenges are framed in the context of building resilience. A challenge is that effort is directed at technical solutions, failing to recognize governance gaps that slow or prevent ‘mainstreaming’ resilience into government functions. Experience from Indonesia's malleable governance frameworks demonstrates that resilience-building measures need to be addressed as a long-term process based on alignment with government priorities and planning cycles. Resilience projects are milestones on the road toward effective resilience building. These issues are not restricted to Asia and learning on how to address such problems are applicable for urban climate change resilience practitioners in Africa and beyond.

The program of poverty reduction relies on creativity and initiatives of local community in the region. The central government, which was previously very dominant in the poverty reduction programs, now has to change the role to merely provide facilities and assistances for poverty reduction programs. Local potentials can be developed as a means or tool for community empowerment. The result of the situation analysis shows that the cause of poverty is the number of unemployment in productive age because they do not have adequate education and skills which are able to get them a high selling job. This situation is related to the lives of the poor people who are economically capable to get them. The high cost of education, both formal and non-formal, cause many productive people to not being able to obtain one. The purpose of the study is to describe how the training management of food processing entrepreneurship affects the economic improvement in the group of women who receive the Keluarga Harapan program (PKH). The survey research type is a data analysis to answer the problem of how the training management of food processing entrepreneurship in the group of women receiving Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH). The result shows an average percentage of 87.38% (strongly agree) in terms of aspect of: the training activities process description, the steps to create and sample products, the assistance for participants who find it difficult, the provision of direction and opportunities for participants to practice by themselves without assistance, the opportunity for the participants to try to develop their skills, the checking and evaluation of the products made by participants, the training materials needed - including basic knowledge to the diversification application, a comprehensible training material delivery that can increase the activity of participants, steps of training activities which are always delivered at the beginning of the lesson, evaluation at the end of the lesson, timely process, a comfortable training place which is enough to accommodate all training participants, sufficient lighting levels, training equipment provided by the training committee is suitable for use and able to accommodate all trainees.

Revitalization in not retorika. Destination of agricultural revitalization is farming development. And farming development requires farming economic growth and structural change. Both are necessary to increase the national income and to create employment opportunities. However, economic growth and structural change would be materialized smoothly if, only if, its development was based on an agricultural development and the management of agrarian objects. So that must optimally manage allocation, the stock employment and the maintenance of the agrarian objects for the present generation as well as the future in order to achieve the prosperous society. Hopefully, the agrarian objects can be optimally managed and used for the present and future generation to reach the prosperous society.

In developing countries, however, the farmer organizations are still weak in one side and there are a variety of constraints in development of such organizations in other side. Similar experience occurs with farmer organizations in District of Sukoharjo. With this context, it is necessary for the agricultural service to carry out an action plan to promote farmer organizations in order to enhance self reliance of the organizations. A conceptual framework should be formulated based on the following considerations: (a) continue the existing program of farmer organizations developed and its improvement in the future; (b) analyze the strengths and weakness of the existing farmer organizations; (c) establish the ideal conditions of the farmer organizations, especially in term of self reliance.This studi formulates an alternaiveframework for intervention which cover the followings: (a) increase the capacity of extension agents, especially in delivering guidance and technical assistant; (b) increase the capacity of farmer organizations to formulate participatory plan; (c) enhance the role of extension agents, especially in facilitating the activities of farmer organizations.Improvement of the capacity of farmer organizations can be done through increasing motivation (AMT), master of technique of productive activities and it is important to assist the organizations for their marketing products. Motivation and stimulation services shoul be directed to self reliance process of the farmer organizations and the members.

So far, development of rural agribusiness institutions is commonly far from expectation to solve related problems. The model of partnership between farmers and agribussiness entrepreneurs indicated an unsatisfactory performance. The underdevelopment of the partnership’s model was due to philosophically, it had not united stakeholders within a common purpose which provided benefits proportionally. The objective of the research aimed at (i) describing the local agribussines institution having potential to suppot a carrot agribussiness; (i) to assess the local institutional performance in order to support a carrot agribussiness; (ii) to examine the opinion of its stakeholders towards institutional development for carrot. This study used a descriptive method. The location have been selected purposively. The Subdistrict of Tawangmangu had been selected as the produce of carrot was the highest compared to other subdistricts in District of Karanganyar. The information was collected from a number of key informants. The informants get confused about the concept of ‘agropolitant itself; even some of the farmers did not care about that concept. Area of agropolitant which formerly planned to become agro-tourism and the promotion of the local product was regarded far from expectation. In fact, there was no marketing activities for those local products. Some programs was considered to be reasonable to implement in order to achieve the objectives. First, in order to improve the bargaining positions, it was reasonable to increase the intensity of asssistance. Particularly, it was suggested to increase the quality of organization management and entreprenurship. Second, it is necessary for the local government to facilitate the networks among the subdistricts or with outer districts with special attention to connect the carrot farmers. As the institution which is commodity base is effective for implementing the function of development, advocation, and promotion relevant to carrot. Third, there is necessary for local government to improve the effectiveness, especialy at the stage of socialization, in regard with the agropolitant development.

Solid waste is big problem in most cities in Indonesia. The problem which often raises, is the difficulty to find the land for solid waste dumping site. The local inhabitants could not accept if the dumping site location is closed to their residential. Therefore, the existing final dumping site is pushed to accommodate and receive solid waste from the entire of the city, although really the service time of the facility is over.This situation is occured on the Jatibarang Final Solid Waste Dumping Site (TPA Jatibarang) of Semarang City, recently.The Municipal of Semarang City, has no other choice for final dumping site exept extending the service time of the TPA Jatibarang. Beside this, the TPA Jatibarang has specific situation, because its location is closed to the Kreo River, one of the tributaries of Garang River, which at the down stream of this river is located intake of the city water supply treatment plant.The leachate of the solid waste is discharged into the Kreo River, which treated by using ordinary aeration method. Of course, this situation is the disadvantage of the TPA Jatibarang. This paper describes the condition of TPA Jatibarang, and its problems and how the efforts of the Municipal of Semarang to overcome this situation.

LN field is a gas field located in South Sumatra, Indonesia. The conversion trial from medium pressure to low pressure tested at the field in 2009 unfortunately led to sand carried out from formation. Wellhead de-sander and production rate control since then have been initially used as a preliminary effort to reduce the sand production. Due to depleted reservoir pressure and limited availability of formation core, down-hole sand control selection was very challenging. The condition initiated fluid losses during the well service and inability to conduct compatibility testing prior to applying sand control method such as resin coated sand, gravel packing or frac-packed. In addition to well head de-sander as to improve the sand control quality, thru tubing sand screen method has been selected as a unique alternative to face the sanding problem for LN field condition. Rig-less installation and flexibility of sand screen replacement were the main reason why this method was finally selected. Thru Tubing Sand Screen was installed using regular slick-line unit. The sand screen was installed very close to end of tubing (EOT); it set just around 2 feet above EOT. Special tubing packer was set with a non-explosive setting tool technology with a battery-operated and time-based device. Since the particle size distribution of sand for sieve analysis was taken from surface sampling, the possibility of sand passing thru the sand screen or sand plugging the screen was still high. But, the thru tubing method provided easy way to install or uninstall the sand screen while wellhead de-sander provided double protection to prevent sand travelling and damaging the surface facilities. This paper will share on how the down-hole sand control study was conducted, how the sand screen and the wellhead de-sander designed, the installation and optimization process and the success story of the implementation at LN field before it is concluded as an integrated sand control technology

The main objectives of this study were first to evaluate a correlation between self-reported stress and heart rate variability (HRV) as a physiological marker, and secondly to examine the HRV difference between high and low-stress level workers. The participants consisted of 36 assembly-line female workers who were divided equally into a high (HS) and low-stress group (LS). The HS group consisted of subjects who reported extremely severe of depression, anxiety, stress, scale (DASS) measures while the LS participants were randomly selected from the 99 participants who had normal to moderate levels of each scale of DASS. All participants attended one session HRV measurement. Pearson correlation coefficients showed negative associations between DASS and the HRV coherence scores as well as differences on HRV between two groups. These findings suggested that objective HRV physiological evaluations and self-reporting measures may be integrated when assessing stress to capture a well-rounded picture of participant's states.

The capacity of actors and institutions to learn and reorganize is central to the resilience of complex systems, particularly in the context of rapidly urbanizing cities. A process of qualitative, reflective research among practitioners within the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN) showed that development projects and programmes can contribute meaningfully to this capacity when they introduce projects as “experiments”. While projects did provide desired tangible benefits to certain groups of actors, many of the most significant contributions to resilience were related to knowledge, networks, information, and greater engagement of citizens with the state. This emphasis on the capacity to learn and reorganize provides a counterpoint to ideas around “implementation” and “mainstreaming” normally promoted within climate change adaptation practice – and, importantly, can help enrich these practices to maximize their effectiveness. Emerging literature on urban climate adaptation emphasizes the need to “mainstream” climate change resilience into city planning, while simultaneously acknowledging a frequent disconnect between planning and implementation, especially in countries where governance lacks transparency and/or technical capacity. Moreover, how to influence planning towards prioritizing climate vulnerabilities is by no means self-evident. Particularly in developing countries, policy and planning processes are often complex, murky, and can be poorly understood even by the planners themselves. This paper discusses gaps in the process of mainstreaming climate resilience in Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia. Experience indicates that there is a common fundamental governance deficit among the three countries in that there is frequently no effective planning process into which climate change resilience could be mainstreamed. Even where governance mechanisms do function, they are often at odds with the kinds of adaptive, learning oriented processes that are at the heart of climate resilience theory. Reconfiguring urban governance is the core challenge, and within this, greater accountability and transparency. This requires informed public dialogue, where critical information about land, current and projected risks and vulnerabilities is in the public domain, and where regulatory framework, public access to redress and remedy is strengthened.

An alternative way to fabricate reduced graphene oxide-based transparent conductive films (rGO based TCF) using microwave assisted irradiation is introduced. This modified method offers lower cost, more efficiency and more convenience in thin-film fabrication. A high mode of conventional microwave irradiation was used in this research, with time variation at 30 and 60 min. For comparison, an unirradiated sample was prepared to see the direct effect of microwave radiation on the properties of the samples. The electrical and optical properties of the samples were characterized by sheet resistance measurement and UV–Vis spectrometry. Scanning electron microscopy was used to observe the morphology of the rGO thin film on the substrate. Microwave radiation at 30 min gave the best combination for electrical and optical properties, with the sheet resistance of 21.97 kΩ/sq and 30.37% transmittance, respectively. X-ray photoemission spectroscopy results confirmed the increased of C C bonding and reduced C O and C O bonding in the sample subjected to 30 min of microwave radiation. This study provides a different perspective on the fabrication of rGO based TCF.

This paper considers how resilience thinking and, in particular, its emphasis on learning has been applied in 10 cities in Vietnam, India, Thailand and Indonesia. Applying a “shared learning” approach in the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN) has helped to create or strengthen networks, build appreciation for complexity and uncertainty among stakeholders, provide a space for deliberating concepts such as vulnerability and resilience, and build knowledge and capacities for stakeholders to engage and represent their own interests. Shared learning approaches face considerable challenges navigating politicized urban environments, in which the nature and value of existing systems − and therefore the value of building resilience − are contested. This article suggests that deliberate, strategic intervention by facilitators may contribute to more transformative change on behalf of equitable, socially just outcomes – and thus cautions against seeing urban climate vulnerability as a technical challenge, or shared learning as a “toolkit” for building resilience.

Emergent phenomena in transition-metal-oxide heterostructures such as interface superconductivity and magnetism have been attributed to electronic reconstruction, which, however, is difficult to detect and characterise. Here we overcome the associated difficulties to simultaneously address the electronic degrees of freedom and distinguish interface from bulk effects by implementing a novel approach to resonant X-ray reflectivity (RXR). Our RXR study of the chemical and valance profiles along the polar (001) direction of a LaCoO3 film on NdGaO3 reveals a pronounced valence-state reconstruction from Co3+ in the bulk to Co2+ at the surface, with an areal density close to 0.5 Co2+ ions per unit cell. An identical film capped with polar (001) LaAlO3 maintains the Co3+ valence over its entire thickness. We interpret this as evidence for electronic reconstruction in the uncapped film, involving the transfer of 0.5e− per unit cell to the subsurface CoO2 layer at its LaO-terminated polar surface. A new experimental design affords insight into electronic reconstruction at the interface between oxides. A number of unexpected phenomena have been seen when one oxide meets another, with a two-dimensional electron gas in the SrTiO3/LaAlO3 system being a well-known example. The underpinning mechanism remains up for debate however: the transfer of electronic charge between interfaces has been suggested – termed ‘electronic reconstruction ’ – but an unambiguous demonstration has been hampered by experimental difficulties. An international team lead by Vladimir Hinkov from University of Wurzburg now applies elementspecific resonant x-ray reflectivity to study the LaCoO3/vacuum interface, demonstrating a change in Co valence state in LaCoO3 from 3+ in the bulk to 2+ at this interface. This data provides compelling experimental evidence for electronic reconstruction at oxide interfaces.
