It is imperative for health care organizations to foster leadership skills in their workforce. Leadership development programs offer a potential mechanism to achieve this goal. These development programs are likely not equally effective for all participants. This study evaluates the efficacy of one such program and determines personality predictors of its efficacy. Before and after a 12-month leadership development program, 28 physicians from various disciplines completed self-reported measures of leadership knowledge across 3 domains. At baseline, participants also provided personality data across the Big-5 factors of personality as well as 2 narrow facets (learning-goal orientation and preference for collaboration). Results suggest that leadership development programs can increase knowledge across leadership domains. Extraversion and conscientiousness predict changes in knowledge. Learning-goal-orientation and preference for collaboration personality facets provide incremental predictive power. Leadership development programs can improve self-rated knowledge across a range of leadership domains and is differentially effective for people based on their personalities.

This research strives to explain the impact of personality type on the work-life balance of women academicians. With the positivist paradigm and quantitative approach, this study has been conducted with a survey methodology. Data was collected from 362 women academicians on adopted instruments and analyzed with multiple regression and ANOVA tests. Results revealed a positive effect of agreeableness, extraversion, and openness personality types on work-life balance. Those women academicians who are with agreeableness personalities are more in a capacity to manage their work-life balance. The results also show a difference in managing the work-life balance between those who are single and married, those who belong to a nuclear family, and those who belong to joint or extended families. This study will facilitate them to develop the personality type which has more capacity to manage work-life balance. The article reveals psychological peculiarities of intrapersonal conflicts in pupils of military lyceum of adolescence. Adolescence chronologically coincides with the period of study at the military lyceum. This is a period of biological restructuring of the organism, accompanied by personality changes, which are manifested in increasing levels of aggression, conflict, aggravation of relations with the immediate environment: friends, classmates, parents and teachers. In adolescence, personal development occurs mainly in the contextual profile of the genesis of personal constructs. Neuropathological approach to the consideration of internal conflicts of personality is largely consistent with the periodization of age crises in the psychology of personality development, especially in terms of the causes of internal conflicts, which in age psychology are called age crises. New personalities are manifested in the development of new needs. If the needs are met adequately to personal development, then no internal conflicts, no crises, much less neuroses in this direction of personal development can not occur. Crises arise as a result of the inability to resolve internal conflicts. Internal conflict arises in a situation of frustration of personal need or unproductive for the individual nature of its satisfaction [12]. So, if you work hard and find a productive way to meet the need, you can avoid pronounced internal conflicts and, as a consequence, crises, neurotic personality development. which create conditions for the development of new needs and determine the further development of personality. Unsatisfaction of these needs leads to abnormal personality change, the development of crisis states and, as a consequence, to neurotic phenomena. The main neoplasms of adolescence, as we know, include the development of consciousness at the level of self-awareness, the development of conceptual thinking and the development of "adulthood". The main strategy in resolving internal conflicts is to focus on the integration of opposite trends in the development of adolescent personality. At this time, in everyday practice, unfortunately, a one-sided approach prevails, when adults push the adolescent to the development of one tendency, which creates the conditions for the development of adolescents crises and neurotic protective reactions.

Football fans are consumers with special relationship with their favourite teams. Consumer-brand relationship is unique and ultimate in football context. However, the absence of these relationships is mainly due to a lack of communication and interaction. This research aims to investigate the impact of brand personality and fan personality on fan- brand relationships. Mixed methods were conducted that employed in-depth personal interviews with football professionals and fans to gain better insights regarding consumer-brand relationships and to develop a conceptual framework and research hypotheses. Then, a quantitative phase has been followed to test these hypotheses. 471 valid questionnaires were collected through a non-probability convenience sampling technique from Egyptian football fans. The findings have shown that brand personality and fan personality have a positive impact on each of interdependence, commitment, partner quality, self-connection, nostalgic attachment, intimacy as consumer-brand relationship dimensions in the football context.

Objectives: To investigate the degree of public awareness, beliefs, and attitudes regarding major depression and available treatment options in the Saudi population. Methods: A community-based cross-sectional study of 1,188 participants was carried out from March to April 2021 in Ha’il, Saudi Arabia using an online self-administered questionnaire. Using a snowball sampling technique, the authors targeted the Saudi population living in Ha’il region. Results: Overall, 65.6% of the participants had good awareness regarding depression disorder in total. Of the participants, 72.9% had good awareness regarding general awareness, 85.4% regarding depression symptoms, 12.3% regarding risk factors, and 15.7% regarding treatments. Of the participants, 67.3% believed that depression was caused by lack of faith and 45.5% believed that depression was caused by “the evil eye” or black magic. Of the participants, 56% believed in faith healers as a legitimate treatment approach. Of the participants, 63.9% were willing to work with individuals with depression, 62.7% were willing to establish friendships with them, and 27.9% believed that individuals with depression had weak personalities. Conclusion: The general population exhibited good general awareness regarding depression and its symptoms, but knowledge of risk factors and treatments was poor. Our findings underscore the need for public educational programs to increase public awareness about the risk factors and treatment options for depression.

Biosecurity is vital for preventing the introduction of exotic fauna, flora, and disease from one territory into another. Attention to biosecurity measures has become an important element of responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there is limited theoretically informed research on tourist biosecurity behavior. To fill this research gap, an integrated research framework with value-attitude-behavior and personality theories is used to identify what influences tourist biosecurity behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data was collected in September 2020 from Americans who had traveled overseas and analyzed by structural equation modeling, multi-group analysis, and deep learning. Results show that value has the greatest effects on attitude followed by personal and social norm on biosecurity for traveling during the pandemic. Personalities significantly moderate the linkages between attitude, personal norm, and behavior. Deep learning confirmed the best prediction of the current model and the importance of personal norms.

Individuals with type A personalities are people with high achievement-oriented, competitive, and fast workers. They are considered qualified to be public accountants. However, the perceptions of public accountant laws influence their career interests. The purpose of the research is to investigate the influence of type A personality and perception of public accountant law on career interests of accounting students as public accountants. The data were collected by disseminating questionnaires to respondents of 94 accounting students of the 7th semester and above at the private universities in Denpasar. All instruments are valid and reliable. Data distribution has been freed from classical assumptions. The findings indicate that type A personality and the perception of public accountant laws have positive and significant effects on accounting student career interests as public accountants.

Business ventures have experienced environments pertaining to rapid morphological changes that have led to the adoption of entrepreneurial teams as opposed to singular individuals. With such a high potential for failure, startups must revert into the foundation of their organization to ensure success and longevity through the formation of an entrepreneurial team. The formation of the entrepreneurial team leads itself to debate due to its diverse linkage with surrounding contexts and the endless combinations of team characteristics. This paper will start by exploring surrounding contexts that affect the performance of entrepreneurship, providing a landscape to the approach of “individual versus team entrepreneur”. The study will shift into venture capitalists and their startup selection criteria lending way to the assumption that entrepreneurial teams are more likely to receive investor funding due to possible parallels in expertise and personalities between the team and the venture capitalist. Afterwards, previous literature will be explored on the components of the entrepreneurial team, creating a structure for the ideal way of composing a team based on the heterogeneous skills and homogenous personalities. The John Holland (IESC Theory) and the Theory of Predicted Behavior will provide evidence towards the efficiency and applicability of the TEAM framework, establishing that a structure including 4 main individual types is required for synergy within a new venture; The Entrepreneur, The Manager, The Technical Expert, and the Assisting Functions. By implementing the TEAM framework, startup success rates can increase and provide substantial benefits for both the entrepreneur and the fund investor.

This study aimed to determine organisational performance with the perspective of employees' service performance by leadership in the hospitality industry. For doing so, we hypothesised the relationship of transformational leadership and employees' service performance via two roots, service climate and organisational identification. Furthermore, to examine the leadership role in service climate development and organisational identification, we used proactive personality as the boundary condition to these relationships. Data for the study was collected from a diverse range of organisations operating in the Qatari hospitality industry. Findings showed that the service climate fully mediates the relationship, while organisational identification failed to mediate the relationship. Considering the moderating effects, results suggested that strong proactive personalities will strengthen transformational leadership on service climate and organisational identification. This study als0 discussed various theoretical and managerial implications.

Background: Recently, some studies have investigated type D personality as a critical factor in developing depression and reducing the quality of life. Objectives: This study aimed to compare depression and quality of life after coronary artery bypass graft surgery in patients with and without type D personalities. Methods: Sixty-nine participants who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting at Imam Khomeini hospital, Ahvaz, Iran, referred to the cardiac surgery clinic for their first visit (1 to 1.5 months after surgery) were included in the study. All participants completed the World Health Organization Quality of Life questionnaire, type D personality scale, and Beck’s Depression Inventory. Finally, depression and quality of life were compared in two groups with and without type D personalities using ANOVA and correlation tests. Results: The two groups were significantly different in depression and quality of life scores after coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Depression and quality of life impairment were higher in participants with type D personality. There was no significant relationship between depression and quality of life with age, gender, and occupation in participants with type D personality. Conclusion: Depression and quality of life were higher in patients with type D personality after coronary artery bypass graft surgery than patients without type D personality. Episodic screening of these patients can prevent future somatic and psychological problems.

The current stage of development of Ukrainian football requires a software solution to a number of complex problems related to improving the quality of the game and increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian teams in the international arena. In this context, it is essential to address topical issues of sports selection and game orientation of players at all industry levels. We believe that the study of the best Belgian experience in building and organizing a system of sports selection and game orientation of players can fill the necessary information and methodological gap in understanding the deep processes of success in modern high-achievement sports. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the features of the organization and conduct of the process of sports selection and game orientation of Belgian football players. The Belgian Royal Football Association has created a well-thought-out and structured system of education, upbringing, training, improvement and development of playing opportunities for young footballers from the age of 6. The use of game and competitive methods of "nurturing" football talents is the basis of the Belgian theoretical and methodological approach. Simultaneously with the development of creative game potential, the emphasis is on the harmonious growth of football personalities. Clear structuring of training and competitive requirements - the basis of successful performances of the national teams of Belgium in the international arena. The success of the Belgian national football team in recent years is undeniable. The country of 11 million people with only 34 professional football clubs has managed to nurture the "golden football generation".

The leading agent of entrepreneurship is an entrepreneur who is accountable for the creation of a new venture. A plethora of research is conducted on entrepreneurial cognitive, personality traits, and motivation that creates new ventures creation, but the previous researcher ignores e-commerce. The previous researchers paid the least concern for entrepreneurial skills that contribute to new venture developments in e-commerce. The purpose of this study is to see the role of entrepreneurs' psychology and competencies towards the emergence of e-commerce ventures in Malaysia. Twelve entrepreneurs were interviewed by using the case study method from May 2013 to December 2014. The study resulted that personal background, work, and business skills are essential in establishing new e-commerce ventures in Malaysia. Seven factors of personalities such as creativity, risk-taking, inspiration, need for autonomy and freedom, tolerance of ambiguity, hardworking and persistence, and optimism are vital aspects of developing an e-commerce new venture in Malaysia. The motivation of the study has two types of internal and external motivation. Internal motivation includes (a) the need for achievement, (b) interest. In contrast, external motivation resulting from interactions with conducive environments such as consumers, members of the family, and industries increased the entrepreneurs' motivation impacting business success.

Consumers tend to attribute human-like traits to a country. Applying theories of country personality and integrated marketing communications, this study examines country personalities as reflected in the website content of government agencies across functions. Specifically, this study used LIWC-based textual analysis to explore the Big Five personality dimensions in the text of government websites. Four ministries of China and South Korea's government with public diplomacy responsibilities were identified: ministries of agriculture, education, tourism & culture, and foreign affairs. Text data on 24 government websites were collected for this study in 2018. Our findings show that countries are different in presenting personalities via the website content of government branches. South Korean government focuses on the branches of foreign affairs and tourism & culture in presenting personalities of agreeableness, extraversion, and conscientiousness. In contrast, the Chinese government focuses on the branches of education and tourism & culture in presenting an openness personality. The findings suggest that a consistent presentation of country personality across websites of different government branches may depend upon structural and cultural characteristics of governing. Homepages and inside pages serve different strategic purposes to create positive presentation of country personality.

Reading is one of the activities known to give a lot of benefits to readers. In the context of university students, reading can improve their academic performance. However, literature indicated that students read-only to pass their examination and not for pleasure and acquiring knowledge. The study reported in this paper investigated the reading habit and reading attitudes among students in the research university library in Malaysia. It is believed that positive reading attitudes towards education materials or non-education materials lead to positive reading experiences, which also lead to higher academic performance. A descriptive study used questionnaires as an instrument of a quantitative method. Convenience sampling was employed and 400 respondents from four research university status libraries were selected. Moderate levels of reading attitude were obtained from the result of the study, in which several variables produced a significant relationship in the reading attitude (education background and favorite activities during leisure time). The findings of this study have shown the behavior of academic library users in terms of reading habits, reading attitudes, and selection of reading materials. Several suggestions such as providing a variety of reading material (sense of humor and humanities, public figures and tv personalities) and reading encouragement activities have been suggested. This study provides useful inputs to the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in constructing effective strategies to cultivate reading habits among reluctant readers in public universities.

This study aims to determine the problems in the personality development of teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang Kulon Progo. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The focus of this research is the problems faced by teachers in the development of personality competencies in schools. The subjects of this study were principals and teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang Kulon Progo. Methods in data collection using documentation and interviews with principals and teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang Kulon Progo. Documentation techniques are used to find data on matters in the form of transcripts, notes, newspapers, books, meeting minutes, and others. Meanwhile, interviews were conducted to explore verbal or qualitative data obtained from key informant sources. The results showed that the problems faced by teachers in personality development at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang Kulon Progo are because they are still carried by their personalities from birth. In addition, lack of confidence in expressing opinions, lack of time discipline, lack of appreciation for student work, and difficulty separating problems at home and school are also problems in teacher personality development. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the problematic personality development of teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang can be improved by evaluation and coaching so that the personality competence of teachers who are responsible, authoritative, mature, stable and others can be obtained.Keywords: Personality, Education, Competence.

The DUI (learning by doing-using-interacting) mode offers a promising theoretical framework to explain why many small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are successful in innovation without research and development (R&D) efforts. In this context, we argue that—because of the informal, person-centered, and interactive nature of the DUI mode—small business owners should be in a key position to trigger DUI learning processes at the company level. Based on a large SME data set from Germany, we show empirically that Big Five personality traits of small business owners positively affect self-selection into DUI-based innovation in less R&D-intensive SMEs. That is, companies operating largely under the DUI mode seem to benefit in particular from certain owners’ personality characteristics. In addition, we present novel evidence that complementarities between different Big Five traits exist in terms of self-selection into the DUI mode, thereby pointing to the role of personality prototypes. The paper concludes with implications for policy and further research. Solving the SME innovation puzzle—resilient owner personalities boost small firm innovativeness. This psychological effect only exists in non-R&D SMEs, providing a new explanation for their surprising innovation success. SME owners are involved in most day-to-day activities of their company. An owner’s personality therefore directly affects external and internal communication flows, laying the foundation for a company’s innovation culture. We show that a resilient personality type—an owner who is characterized by emotional stability, openness, extraversion, and conscientiousness—benefits innovation in non-R&D SMEs. According to our analysis, resilient owners are about 5.5% more likely to trigger an innovation mode within their company that builds on non-R&D-based knowledge, communication, and interaction. Our research implies that entrepreneurship education and consultancy should foster psychological self-awareness, and thereby increase an owner’s understanding of his/her most effective role in terms of firm-level innovation. Successful entrepreneurship and innovation is not fully determined by one’s personality type, but knowing one’s own strength and weaknesses can help to carve out an effective niche, defining the scope of one’s responsibility, as well as its limits.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to study the influence of cooperative and competitive personalities on tacit knowledge sharing (TKS) by exploring the mediating role of organizational identification (OI) and the moderating role of perceived organizational support (POS) among Chinese employees.Design/methodology/approachConducting a network survey of ordinary employees from Chinese listed companies (2019) as the research objects, the authors collect 298 valid samples for research. The authors apply confirmatory factor analysis to test the reliability and validity of the constructs, structural equation modeling to verify the direct effect and the PROCESS macro to test the mediating and moderating effects.FindingsThe results show that there is a positive relationship between cooperative personality (COP) and TKS, and there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between competitive personality (CMP) and TKS. OI plays a mediating role between COP and TKS, while POS plays a negative moderating role between COP and TKS.Research limitations/implicationsThis paper only takes Chinese employees as the research sample, and future research can make a cross-cultural comparison between the impacts of cooperative and competitive personalities on employees’ behaviors.Practical implicationsThe results of this study suggest that enterprises should actively cultivate the COP of employees, and managers should refrain from intervening in the behaviors of employees with COP. At the same time, for employees with CMP, managers should guide them to control their competitive tendency at a reasonable level. The conclusions of this paper also suggest that managers should pay attention to the cultivation of employees’ OI.Originality/valueThis study plugs the gap in research on the impacts of cooperative and competitive personalities on TKS. It makes a contribution to the research development of COP and CMP and their influence mechanisms on employees’ behaviors. In addition, the negative moderating effect of POS on COP–TKS link verifies the correctness of Y theory. Studying the relationships among personality traits (cooperative and competitive personalities), cognition (OI) and behaviors (TKS), this paper makes a contribution to such a research stream.

The aim of this research is to check whether the experiential marketing and customer experience strategies implemented by hotels constitute differential factors to attract the millennial segment to their accommodation, as well as to determine up to what extent these strategies are successful and profitable. In order to fulfil this purpose, different research and surveys have been carried out. In the first place, we led a behavioural research of the target when choosing accommodation for their holidays. The purpose of this research was to find out the target’s insights as well as the constructs they appreciate most, in order to later determine the cost-effectiveness of the strategies used. The approach was neuroqualitative, however supplemented with a quantitative technique. So as to analyse the insights of the millennial segment, as well as to define the buyer persona, a CAWI semi-structured survey (simple random sampling) was used, with the aid of the following techniques: focus group and an implicit association test. Also different personalities from the hotel sector were interviewed in depth by means of semi-structured interviews so as to look into their opinions about the use of experiential marketing in their business plans, in regard to the millennial segment. Once gathered this information we have performed a multifactorial analysis of the concept “experience”, making use of the constructs discovered in our research.

This study aims to find out the factors that influence the career selection of accounting students of Esa Unggul University. In the study the factors measured using financial award variables, professional training, professional recognition, social values, work environment, market considerations and personalities had an influence on the career selection of accounting students as public accountants and non-public accountants.The data collection method in this study was obtained by distributing questionnaires to accounting students of Esa Unggul University and taking samples of 100 respondents.The results of the analysis showed that the variables of financial awards, professional training, professional recognition, social values, work environment, market considerations and personalities had a significant influence on career selection as a public accountant or non-public accountant.This study aims to determine the factors that affect the career choice of Esa Unggul University accounting student. Whether birds of a feather flock together or opposites attract is a classical research question in social and personality psychology. In most existing studies, correlation-based techniques are commonly used to study the similarity/dissimilarity among social entities. Social network data comprises two primary components: actors and the possible social relations between them. It, therefore, has observations on both the dyads with and without social relations. Because of the availability of the baseline group (dyads without social relations), it is possible to contrast the two groups of dyads using social network analysis techniques. This study aims to illustrate how to use social network analysis techniques to address psychological research questions. Specifically, we will investigate how the similarity or dissimilarity of actor's characteristics relates to the likelihood for them to build social relations. By analyzing a college friendship network, we found the quadratic relations between personality similarity and friendship. Both very similar and very dissimilar personalities boost friendship among college students.

A young age is sensitive to the development of identity, due to the needs of its representatives in personalities, professional and social self-determination. Identity determines the integrity and awareness of a person’s personal and group aspects of this education. The purpose of the article is to reveal the modern perspective of theoretical and empirical study of identity features in a young age. It is theoretically established that at a young age identity acquires greater integrity and awareness. At this age, personal, professional and social identity is intensively developing. Pupils of senior classes of general secondary education institutions and students of institutions of professional higher and higher education more consciously determine their own physical, moral and mental qualities, which testify to the development of their personal identity. High school students are able to consciously choose a future profession; students acquire professional competencies, which indicate the development of their professional identity. High school and university students are able to consciously define themselves as a representative of a certain social group, which testifies to their social identity. The peculiarities of the professional identity of students of higher and professional higher education institutions who acquire a specialty related to human health have been empirically studied. Namely, future teachers of biology and human health and future nurses. The empirical study, which was conducted in 2019-2020, involved students of higher and professional higher education in Kyiv. Statistically significant differences in the quantitative data of the subjects of one age range – first and second year students of pedagogical universities and second and third year students of medical colleges. In particular, it was found that quantitative data on the relevance and significance of professional identity are significantly higher for college students compared to university students. The identified differences are explained by the unequal duration of their professional training, in particular practical, and therefore different intensity of professional identification.

An overview of the features of art projects as possible threats to the planning and implementation of projects in the creative sphere in the following areas is offered: psychological aspects of personality and the specificity of art projects, which are characteristic exclusively for projects in this sphere. It has been determined that the combination of factors of the internal and external environment is the basis for the formation of the list and ranking of risks of art projects. A detailed analysis of scientific works devoted to research in the implementation of the design approach in the creative field, the study of psychological traits that significantly distinguish a creative person from the psychology of other people and research in the field of risk management, has proved that the attention of the scientific community on the study of risks and their nature origin in art projects today is very insignificant. The introduction of the methodology of the project approach to the organization and implementation of creative events in Ukraine is still rather weak, and anti-risk measures begin to be developed only after the onset of risk. Therefore, the issue of studying the risks in the implementation of art projects remains relevant and in demand. Analysis of the psychological traits of creative personalities and the specificity of art projects as sources of origin of risks made it possible to develop types of risks for their subsequent classification. It is concluded that the presented classification scheme is of practical value for art project managers. It will allow in the future to envisage options for the development of events, to determine in advance the factors of influence of the external and internal environment of the art project and to develop in advance measures, methods and techniques to prevent a risk event or, in case of its occurrence, to minimize negative consequences for achieving the goals of the art project (time, budget, content, quality). Now the list of types of risks of art projects includes only two sources of risks’ origin. But work on drawing up a risk classification scheme for art projects will continue to include the maximum possible sources of risk origin and provide the project manager with an effective tool for identifying and analyzing possible threats (risks) or opportunities.

To increase patient engagement and facilitate patient-provider collaboration, tools that incorporate patients' goals into medical care plans are needed. However, few studies have explored how hospitalized patients set and share goals to communicate with their caregivers and clinical care teams. Even less is known for how pediatric patients experience sharing their goals during hospitalization. This paper presents a technology probe study to characterize how pediatric patients perceive goal-setting, and how goal-sharing affects their collaboration with their caregivers and clinical care teams. We conducted this study with 13 patient families and 4 clinicians. We found that goals set and shared by pediatric patients foster the patients' autonomy to participate in care decision-making, reveal the gaps of understanding between patients and caregivers, support the patients emotionally during patient and care team interaction, and convey the patients' personalities and preferences to the clinical care team. In addition, we recommend design opportunities to support the different ways that patients' goals can foster high-quality patient care. We also discuss how patients' goals impact the tension of shared decisional authority between patients and caregivers, and how goals support pediatric patients transition to self-care.

The aim of this paper is to examine the impact of sustainability advertising on brand personality, credibility, attitude toward the ad and brand attitude; special attention was given to whether or not environmental and social sustainability advertising have different effects. The results of an online survey revealed that environmental sustainability advertising has a stronger influence than social sustainability advertising. Thus, the findings suggest that a focus on environmental aspects delivers the more impactful advertising content when promoting a brand’s sustainability. This result is consistent with the existing studies on the sub-dimensions of sustainability; although only researched in different contexts, earlier findings also showed that environmental sustainability has a higher impact. Furthermore, an explicit integration of environmental aspects into the measurement of brand personalities offers a new and interesting field of future research. The study is based on data collected from 166 respondents. The impact of sustainability advertising is investigated by an experimental manipulation of the advertising condition. To test the hypotheses, structural equation models are applied, as well as one-way analyses of variance.

The social web has enabled individuals from all walks of life to openly express their emotions and sentiment in relation to current affairs, local issues and personal circumstances. Within the social web, social media encompasses deep emotional expressions that reflect a multitude of personalities and behaviors. Existing research in this space is heavily focused on supervised sentiment analysis and emotion detection, with limited work on modeling these deep emotions, mixed emotions and variations of emotional behaviors from unlabeled and unstructured social media conversations. In this study, we propose a comprehensive framework based on the principles of self-structuring artificial intelligence for emotion modeling and analysis that systematically integrates the modeling capabilities at a granular level on unstructured, unlabeled social media data. The research contributions of this framework are the detection, analysis and synthesis of deep emotion intensity, emotion transitions, emotion latent representations, and profile-based emotion classification. The self-structuring artificial intelligence framework amalgamates an ensemble of novel algorithms to eventuate these contributions. These algorithms extend the current state-of-the-art of natural language processing techniques, word embedding, Markov chains and growing self-organizing maps, specifically for deep emotions modeling and analysis. The framework is empirically evaluated on anonymized conversations from online mental health support forums. The outcomes identify profile-based emotion characteristics, emotion intensities, transitions and an overall latent representation across three distinct mental health groups in these forums. These outcomes are comprehensive in comparison to existing work which singularly focuses on sentiment analysis or emotion detection. The validity and effectiveness of its application on a real-world social media setting further establish the methodological novelty of this ensemble of self-structuring artificial intelligence for deep emotions.

PURPOSE: The paper aims to explore the applicability of information technologies in assessing employee personalities and motivations, outline the evolution trajectories of relevant IT tools, and report experiences with their application methodologies., DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: The paper presents the findings of research on the applicability of IT support tools in determining employees’ personality and motivation. The research methods included primarily Development and Assessment Center A&DC, and literature studies. The following techniques were used, interview, participant observation, role play, self-reflection sheet, feedback, and cause-and-effect analysis. The following psychometric tools were also employed: Hogan Systems, Test Intentio Consensio, Thalento., FINDINGS: The proliferating applications of psychometrics are bilaterally tied to progress in related research. Evolution trajectories of considered tools lead toward the embracement of BI, AI, IT ontologies. A&DC methodology should be developed in parallel., PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: The metaplan technique utilized by the authors compares business practice (what is it like?), as demonstrated by case studies, against a research model (what should it be like?). The resulting recommendations are given., ORIGINALITY/VALUE: The paper seeks to make a contribution to the methodology foundations for the application of information technology in support of employee personality and motivation assessment, and to indicate paths for the evolution of relevant tools. The article studies general and particular characteristics of two Russian companies functioning in the segment of organic food. The author analyzed companies ‘VkusVill’ and ‘EcoNiva’, one of them is a trade company and the other is an agro-industrial company, which lately is moving towards retail. Aspects dealing with cooperation of these companies were investigated. Special attention was paid to key stages of the companies’ development in order to show the sequence of steps during setting-up and developing operations being analyzed. The role of individual in developing business was demonstrated. These companies are characterized by the fact that their founders are strong and creative personalities, who have been executives since companies’ setting-up to the present moment. The author studied the stages of companies’ development in parallel with stages of professional and personality growth of their leaders. This article can be interesting for entrepreneurs, who plan to do business in the sphere of healthy food both as producers and retailers.

Šaulys life as a cultural figure who will eventually be viewed as one of the most influential organisators of the literary life of the beginning of the 20th century.

Appearance can affect social interaction, which in turn affects personality development. There is ample evidence that facial morphology and social cues provide information about human personality and behavior. In this study, we focused on the relationship between self-reported personality characteristics and facial features. We propose a new approach for predicting college students’ personality characteristics (on the basis of the Big Five personality characteristics) with static facial images. First, we construct a dataset containing 13,347 data pairs composed of facial images and personality characteristics. Second, we train a deep neural network with 10,667 sample pairs from the dataset and use the remaining samples to test (1335 pairs) and validate (1335 pairs) self-reported Big Five personalities. We trained a series of deep neural networks on a large, labeled dataset to predict the self-reported Big Five personality trait scores. This novel work applies deep learning to this topic. We also verify the network’s advanced nature on the publicly available database with obvious personality characteristics. The experimental results show that 1) personality traits can be reliably predicted from facial images with an accuracy that exceeds 70%. In five-character tag classification, the recognition accuracy of neuroticism and extroversion was the most accurate, and the prediction accuracy exceeded 90%. 2) Deep learning neural network features are better than traditional manual features in predicting personality characteristics. The results strongly support the application of neural networks trained on large-scale labeled datasets in multidimensional personality feature prediction from static facial images. 3) There are some differences in the personality traits of college students with different academic backgrounds. Future research can explore the relative contribution of other facial image features in predicting other personality characteristics.

OBJECTIVE The aim: The purpose of this article is to identify through the analysis of biographical and scientific Sofia Okunevska-Morachevska, Sofia Parfanovych and Volodymyra Krushelnytska common features of personal and professional development to understand the scientific, social and cultural parts of their activities in the context of the historyof national medical tradition. PATIENTS AND METHODS Materials and methods: We will try to consider in general terms the life and professional path of Sofia Okunevska-Morachevska, Sofia Parfanovych, Volodymyra Krushelnytska, highlighting common features and analyzing them in contexts of social, political, and cultural features of the era. CONCLUSION Conclusions: Analyzing the biographical milestones and scientific achievements of women physicians in Western Ukraine in the late XIX - early XX century, we concluded that these personalities of Ukrainian medicine can be combined with a number of characteristics, thus demonstrating the continuity and longevity of the national female medical elite in Ukraine.

Ongoing digital transformations facilitate the conduct of online courses and distance learning. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the role of learners’ personalities and behaviors in their academic success (exam scores) in a blended learning setting (combination of distance learning and face-to-face learning). Next to individual differences in several variables (including intelligence), participants’ (n = 62) learning time and learning motivation over 14 weeks (one term) using questionnaires for one learning module at the Swiss Distance University Institute was measured. Also, data on the participants’ grades at the end of the course and the number of exercises they completed during the term were obtained. A stepwise regression analysis revealed that studying at the optimal time of the day and studying regularly are relevant predictors of academic success. The results and limitations of the study are discussed in the context of academic success prediction in higher education. It has also been studied that it brought Egyptian novelism to a new level, its artistic and expressive style.

Personality assessments are at present nearly entirely dependent on self-reports, and machine learning methods have been rarely applied to this field. This study used machine learning to predict people’s self-reported proactive personalities. Based on a sample of 901 participants that used Weibo text and short answer text, the authors used five machine learning algorithms for classification: Support Vector Machine (SVM), XGboost, k-nearest neighbor (KNN), naïve Bayes, and logistic regression. Seven different indicators – Accuracy (ACC), F1-score(F1), Sensitivity(SEN), Specificity (SPE), Positive Predictive Value (PPV), Negative Predictive Value (NPV) and Area under Curve (AUC) – combined with hierarchical cross-validation were also used to make the comprehensive evaluation of models. Based on this, we proposed a method to classify people’s proactive personalities based on text mining technology. The results showed that the SVM and naïve Bayes outperformed the other methods on short texts (i.e., short answer texts) and mixed long texts (i.e., short answer & Weibo text). In the context of the texts used, mixed long text (i.e., short answer & Weibo text) improved and stabilized the indices, and this combination was the best choice of text for predicting proactive personality. In addition, the SVM was the most stable classifier in most situations, even on Weibo text that was not suitable for analysis as long text, and it also recorded good results in terms of accuracy, the F1-score, and the AUC.

The article exposes the definition of psychological features of gender tolerance and its structural components in adolescence. This age period is marked by the emergence of a new social situation of development, the center of which is the transition to independent living (the beginning of professional development, implementation of life plans). Intensive development of self-awareness continues, young people self-determine in the system of moral values, principles, norms and rules of conduct, are aware of personal social responsibility. According to this situation of development of the young generation in the conditions of transformational processes in economic, political and social spheres, the issue of harmonization of intersex relations of youth through education of tolerant attitude to representatives of one`s own and opposite sex is important. Manifestation of gender tolerance in adolescence contributes to: the creation of psychologically comfortable conditions for joint activities of both sexes; achieving interpersonal and intergroup mutual understanding and respect in various spheres of life interaction; providing effective psychological and pedagogical conditions for the development of young men and women of the necessary individual and personal qualities for successful resistance to stereotypes and pressure of society. The purpose of the article is to study the psychological features of the manifestation of gender tolerance and the formation of its components among young men and women. The objectives of the study are: selection and implementation of methods to determining the degree of manifestation of gender tolerance by adolescents; study of its structure and levels of formation of cognitive, emotional and behavioral components. In the process of the empirical research we have used: the method of “VIKTI: types and components of tolerance” (author G.L. Bardier), quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results performed on the scales “gender tolerance”, “cognitive component”, “affective component”, “Activity-style component” of gender tolerance. Based on certain levels of gender tolerance, it was found that more than half of adolescents have a level of gender tolerance at a medium (close to low) level; about a third of young people have a low level of gender tolerance; and only the fifth part has formed (high level) gender tolerance. When analyzing the formation of such components of gender tolerance (cognitive, emotional, behavioral), it was found that their reduced performance is more perculiar for boys that is manifested in their reduced reflexivity, limited emotional and behavioral self-regulation. The article addresses the problem of evaluating the profession-oriented foreign language competency of cadets of a military educational establishment of higher education on the basis of the competency-based approach. The quality of education given to military specialists is an important task for any military educational organization of higher education and its chairs. To ensure a high level of training, it is necessary to organize the educational process and the competency evaluation in such a way as to create the necessary conditions for the formation of competencies required by the educational program, and also for the development of cadets' personalities. The article considers the evaluation system for the profession-oriented foreign language competency of cadets in the competency-based approach. A general description of the competency evaluation procedure is given. The proposed recommendations for making evaluation rely on the European experience in education and evaluation according to the competency-based approach. The article specifies twelve types of assignments for evaluation, which are divided into four groups, and gives a practical example of their use in the learning outcome monitoring and the midterm attestation for the foreign language discipline in a higher naval school. It is highlighted that using various types and methods of evaluation is important, and the continuous and differentiated character of such evaluation can provide feedback and ensure the implementation of the competency-based approach in foreign language learning.

ICSC (Indonesian Civil Servant Cooperative) is a microfinance institution that has been instrumental in realizing the welfare of households. ICSC has also grown in membership and wealth. The fraud risk is also a challenge for their efforts that are not yet fully with digital accounting technology. There are three factors of fraud according to triangle fraud theory, namely: pressure, opportunity, and rationalization. Among them, rationalization is the most important factor according to some empirical studies. The study aims to confirm the rationalization factor by investigating the relationship of ethical attitudes and personalities with accounting fraud. This explanative research took the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ICSC as samples by purposive sampling technique. Data collected through questionnaires are processed with multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of data processing show that significance value 0.814 > 0.05; which means that simultaneous ethical and personality attitudes had no significant effect on accounting fraud.

The article examines art education for children of preschool and primary school age as being the most effective tool for the formation of a full-fledged future personality. In modern preschool institutions and in elementary schools, art lessons are an integral part of the educational process, since the development of the creative abilities of the next generation from childhood is one of the top priority tasks of the domestic education system. Drawing is one of the children's most beloved activities. Children begin to draw before they can speak. While engaging in visual arts, they depict everything that they see; the more that they engage their imagination, the better their imagination and abstract thinking get, and their artistic taste is being formed. This article discusses the views of foreign and domestic experts – educators, psychologists, art historians and artists – on how children's personalities are successfully formed and developed in the process of artistic creation, and what accompanying conditions are needed. The current pedagogical experiment of the Children's Studio of Fine Arts and Design, in the Department of Design and National Arts of Kazan Federal University, was described; it is aimed at revealing the natural talents of children through teaching creativity. The results of the experiment will allow us to recommend the methodology of the Studio for use in schools, child care facilities, art studios, clubs, and art classes.

But parents impose a desire on their child to learn a subject that the child does not select or want so that the child tends to be forced to learn and results in not optimal results. This problem is the background for making smart applications to determine children's talents with the Android-based Bayes theorem based on early childhood personality. This intelligent application built on an Android basis with the Bayes theorem can help parents or the general public to find out the talents of each child from an early age. So that education, the lessons that will be taken by a child are appropriate and have qualified skills. This type of research is a development research category, namely producing application products that can be used by the general public, the research process involves experts in the field of psychology by way of direct communication to create data used in determining children's talents from an early age.

Educational equality is seen as the cornerstone of social justice. Likewise, ensuring the equality of teacher-student interaction in the classroom plays a crucial part in meeting the requirements of social justice. In college English classroom, teachers are expected to provide students with equal opportunities to interact with one another through communicative and collaborative activities so as to give the full play of students’ potential. However, it is worth noting that the unequal status in current teacher-student interaction may pose serious threat to the implementation of educational equality in higher education system. Therefore, taking the 85 students of Zhejiang Yuexiu University as research participants, the study, spanning from September 2019 to January 2020, is designed to investigate the factors that influence teachers’ educational equality mindset and to assess whether the significant difference between these variables and inequality in classroom interaction exists by adopting the research instruments of classroom observation, interview and questionnaire. The data collected reveal that the inequality can be discerned in teacher-student interaction in college English classroom, for the teacher’s questioning times, question types, and feedback types are closely associated with the differences of genders, personalities, regions and English levels of students. In addition, the root causes for the inequality are also examined discreetly from multi-perspectives through interviews on both teachers and students for better proposing some effective strategies to minimize educational inequality and facilitate students’ development in positive directions in college English education.
