The objective of the current study is to investigate the prevalence of undiagnosed dysglycemia and the risk for type 2 diabetes using the FINDRISC questionnaire in adult population in Beni-Suef Governorate. 500 subjects who are aged above 20 years and who are not known diabetics, who are not known on steroids and hormonal therapy and have not renal impairment. More than half of the studied population (52.8%) had low to moderate risk to developing type 2 DM, with no statistically significant difference between males and females regarding the total FINDRISC score.
