Objective: To investigate the effects of “Yingwei Fang” on nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), endothelin-converting enzyme (ECE) and homocysteine (Hey) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: 39 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus with different syndromes were observed, including 14 cases of Yin deficiency heat, 10 cases of Qi and Yin deficiency and 15 cases of Yin and Yang deficiency. All patients took “Yingwei Fang” capsules orally, 5 capsules per time, 3 times a day. Objective: To investigate the effect of lowering sugar and preventing deafness prescription on blood glucose in animal models of diabetic deafness. Methods: Fifty Wistar rats were randomly selected from 40 rats to establish the animal model of experimental diabetic deafness by intraperitoneal injection of 55mg/kg streptozotocin (STZ). The remaining 10 rats were normal control group (group A), and after modeling, they were randomly divided into model control group (group B), low-concentration group (group C) and high-concentration group (group D) of the suspension of the formula for lowering sugar and preventing deafness, metformin control group (group E). Group A was fed the normal diet and given the same dose of normal saline as the other groups, group B was given the same dose of normal saline as the other groups, and the metformin groups in groups C, D and E were given 3.3g/kg.d, 30g/kg.d and 0.3mg/kg.d of hypoglycemic and anti-hearing suspension and metformin aqueous solution, respectively. The administration period was 30 days. Results: Compared with normal control group, fasting blood glucose in model control group was increased, the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05), and the indexes of each dose group of Jiangtang Fang Deaf Formula were not statistically significant compared with the metformin control group (P BBB>05). Objective: To observe the changes of parathyroid hormone and osteocalcin in diabetic patients with different syndromes. Methods: The changes of parathyroid hormone (I-PTH) and osteocalcin (BGP) in 39 patients (50 ears) with different types of diabetes mellitus and deafness were detected. The control group was 20 normal people. Results: The level of I-PTH in diabetic patients with deafness had no significant change compared with the normal control group (P >0.05), but the level of I-PTH in diabetic patients with deafness had significant change (P>0.05). The existence of wheel-diameter difference of track locomotive will directly affect the motion performance of locomotive. In this paper, the creep force of coaxial wheel-diameter difference is analysed, and the dynamic model of 2-axle bogie locomotive is established by SIMPACK software. Based on the study of two typical wheel-diameter difference of the same bogie, 10 special working conditions of wheel-diameter differences of the same locomotive are put forward. The effects of different working conditions and different wheel-diameter differences of the same working condition on the straight line motion performance of locomotive are analysed. The results show that, the lateral displacement and lateral ride quality index of locomotive body increase with the increase of wheel-diameter difference under the same working condition, and they do not exceed the safety limit. The change of wheel-diameter difference has little effect on the vertical ride quality index of locomotive body. According to the lateral displacement of the locomotive body, the 10 working conditions are divided into three grades. The third grade (working condition 4, working condition 5, working condition 8 and working condition 11) is more conducive to the safe and stable motion of the locomotive. Therefore, in the wheel matching installation and repairing process, priority should be given to the arrangement of wheel-diameter difference of the same locomotive in the third grade. This will provide a reference and basis for the scheme of locomotive wheel economic repairing.

Objective: To explore the comparison of innovative new techniques and traditional endoscopic treatment of maxillary cysts. Methods: 32 cases of maxillary bone cyst patients were divided into two groups, 17 cases in the treatment group received innovative new technology in the treatment of maxillary bone cyst. 15 cases in the control group received nasal passages open window under traditional nasal endoscope in treatment. The cure rate, average hospitalization days, the average hospitalization expenses, postoperative complications and postoperative discomfort, satisfactory rate were observed and compared, respectively. Results: The patients of treatment group can be treated without hospitalization. While in the control group average hospitalization expenses, postoperative complications, postoperative discomfort, patient satisfaction were not as good as those of treatment group. Conclusion: It was more prominent of safety, effective rate and satisfaction in the treatment group than in the control group.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic systemic disease characterized by hyperglycemia, with various pathogenic mechanisms. From absolute or relative insulin deficiency, patients with DM often demonstrate various levels of metabolic disorders. Major clinical manifestations of DM include metabolic disorders, vascular lesions, circulatory disturbances and neurologic complications. Along with advances in DM research, reports of DM related tinnitus and hearing impairment have increased continuously. Research on DM related auditory system dysfunction has focused on cochlear microcirculation, cellular homeostasis, genetics and aging. Cochlear microcirculation plays an important role in cochlear physiology and its disorders are associated with many inner ear diseases. Ischemia and subsequent reperfusion seen in cochlear microcirculation disorders are important factors in hearing damage. Understanding cochlear microcirculation and structural as well as functional changes in DM patients with hearing loss and their causal factors will help reveal pathogenic mechanisms in diabetic hearing loss and provide new ideas in developing interventions and preventing damages caused by diabetes.

Objective: To observe the curative effect of maxillary bone cyst by maxillary sinus cyst drug combination, it provide innovative approach for non-surgical treatment of maxillary bone cyst. Results: 12 patients with maxillary sinus cyst came back to the hospital for a check of sinus CT after treatment of 1 to 3 months, the results are excellent, and 1 to 2 years follow-up were carried on, the follow-up of 11 cases, 1 case was lost of follow-up. During follow-up of patients, before treatment with clinical symptoms caused by maxillary sinus cyst, symptoms disappeared after treatment, the sinus CT showed cyst disappear significantly. Conclusion: The curative effect of maxillary bone cyst by maxillary sinus cyst drug combination is definite, it is landmark in the non-surgical treatment for maxillary bone cyst.

Objective: To observe the influence of Panax Notoginseng Saponins and tripterygium glycosides on the TNF, IL-6, PAI-1 level in CIA rat peripheral blood and the MCP-1 expression in myocardium. Methods: randomly dividing the successfully copied CIA rats into model, TG(10mg/Kg.d), PNS(200mg/Kg.d)+TG(10mg/Kg.d), MTX(1.6mg/Kg.w) group and Control group was set. The liquid phase protein chip technology was used to detect the content of serum TNF, IL-6, PAI-1, and immunohistochemical method to detect the myocardial MCP-1 protein expression. Conclusions: the effective components of Chinese herbal medicine TG combined with PNS has a significant role in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular injury, its mechanism may be related to reducing serum TNF, IL-6, PAI-1 and MCP-1 expression in myocardium to exert anti-inflammatory effect.

Considering the present backward situation of the compressor splitter designing level, a multi-objective Combinatorial Optimization Design method is put forward for the splitter design consisting of three core components: the CST parameterized method, the Design of Experiment and the ASA optimization algorithm. In the whole optimization design process, the CST parameterized method is developed for the complex geometry modeling and geometric samples generating of splitter. The Design of Experiment is taken used to qualitatively analyze the multiple design variables and adjust their number and scopes. The ASA algorithm takes charge of the global optimization of splitter geometry samples, and selects the best geometry conform to the design target. All the relevant optimization components and modules are integrated by the Isight software and be interacted and automatically called by the edited scripts. The effectiveness of the proposed design method is verified through a practical splitter example. Results show that: 1) the CST parameterized method of fourth order or above is of great accurately to fit the splitter geometry, in order to generate variable geometric samples. 2) The Design of Experiment is able to identify the different influence of multiple design variables on the design objectives and lead to the optimization process more targeted. 3) The performance of optimization result is improved significantly, in which the core duct behaves more sensitive to splitter geometry changing and the low-static pressure and high-radial velocity areas reduced to half of the initial design.Copyright © 2015 by ASME

The traditional calculation method of industrial boiler thermal efficiency needs to input many parameters, which leads to a lot of complicated calculations. It is not suitable to make an accurate judgement on the operating condition of an industrial boiler, especially a wood pellets-fired one. In order to solve this problem, the paper presents a simplified mathematical model to calculate the thermal efficiency of a wood pellets-fired industrial boiler on-line by using an error analysis method. More concretely speaking, first, based on the results of the error analysis of an industrial boiler thermal efficiency, main factors that affect the thermal efficiency of a wood pellets-fired industrial boiler are obtained. Then, a simplified mathematical model to calculate the thermal efficiency of the wood pellets-fired industrial boiler is developed in terms of the major factors. Finally, the calculating results of the industrial boiler thermal efficiency based on the model are compared with the test values given by Guangdong Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute and the maximum deviation limits within 3%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the simplified mathematical model proposed in this paper for calculating the thermal efficiency of the wood pellets-fired industrial boiler is proved to be practical, applicable and worth popularizing.

The expressions of PD-1/B7-H1 of T lymphocytes and T lymphocyte subsets of two groups were determined by flow cytometry. Results The positive expression of PD1 and B7—H1of T lymphocytes in patients of the treatment group was significant higher than that in healthy control group (P < 0.05); The positive expression of PD1and B7—H1of T lymphocytes significantly decreased after treatment in the treatment group (P < 0.05). The amount of CD4+, CD8+ cells of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of control group (P < 0.05). The amount of CD4+/CD8+ cells of the treatment group was higher than that of control group (P < 0.05), significantly decreased after treatment (P < 0.05). Conclusion Promoting liver cell growth hormone combination from the Gongying Yinchen soup can influence expression of T lymphocytes PD-1/B7-H1 path in patients with severe hepatitis depression, enhance the body’s immune response.

ObjectiveTo study the influence of Jiang Tang Fang Long formula on insulin production and function in an animal model of diabetic hearing loss.MethodsWistar rats (n=60) were randomly divided into 6 groups (10 in each) to receive no treatment (the normal control, Group A), or to receive intra-peritoneal 55 mg/kg streptozotocin with (Groups C, D and E) or without (Group B) subsequent Jiang Tang Fang Long formula treatment at various doses or Yu Long Wan treatment (Group F). After 60 days, fasting blood glucose (FBG), body weight (BW) and fasting insulin (FINS) were recorded and the HOMA-IR and HOMA-β calculated. Insulin expression in pancreatic tissues was measured by radioimmunoassay.ResultsCompared with animals that received streptozotocin without rescue treatment (Group B), animals that received higher doses of Jiang Tang Fang Long formula(Groups D and E) showed improved indices of diabetes manifestation (P< 0.05) and improved HOMA-β (P0.05).ConclusionOur results suggest that Jiang Tang Fang Long formula may improve pancreatic β-cells function which may explain its efficacy in treating diabetic hearing loss.
