With the growing development of the knowledge economy in recent years, the value of knowledge workers has increased substantially. On the basis of the broaden-and-build theory (B&B theory) and conservation of resources (CoR) theory the aim of this research work is to evaluate the mediating effect of leader-member exchange (LMX) and organizational learning (OL) between servant leadership and knowledge innovative work behavior (IWB). Current study included the participation of 496 knowledge employees from China's high-tech companies. The responses of the survey were analyzed using MPLS software while utilizing the structural equation modeling method. The findings validated the link between servant leadership (SL) and IWB. In the relationship between SL and IWB, LMX and OL mediated the relationship as parallel mediator. This study discovered a correlation between SL and OL and LMX. In addition, the findings signify that in the Chinese high-tech companies' SL style augments IWB through the support of OL and LMX. The results of the study are useful for harnessing the leader and member for achieving organizational objectives through enhancing the innovative work behavior in the knowledge workers of Chinese high-tech companies.

The aim of this study is to explore the impact of political news posts, interactive discussion factors, and uncivil comments on participants’ online incivility. The moderating effects of cognitive and affective involvement have also been considered. The data have been gathered using self-administered questionnaires from 458 respondents. The results indicate that political news posts having interactive discussion factors positively impacts the online uncivil behaviour of the participants. The uncivil comments initiated by other users also significantly impact the participants’ incivility. The data have also been analysed for the mediation effects. The construct of affective involvement emerged as an effective mediator as compared to cognitive involvement. This study posits several theoretical implications for the literature. The combination of the variables used is also rare in the literature. The findings of this study are useful for behavioural scientists, as the outcomes have a potential to predict the online behaviour of Pakistani users.

This study aims to establish a connection between Russian-Ukraine’s current state of affairs and its impact on trade in the European Union and East Asia-Pacific (EAP) regions. Russia- Ukraine conflict impacts EU and EAP trade openness due to rising military spending. Further, escalating sanctions against Russia would negatively affect trade in these regions. War media coverage may cause temporary trade decline in EU and EAP, but recovery expected in the long run. EU imports and exports flow would be significantly disrupted by conflict, irrespective of country’s financial situation. Study findings can aid policymakers in assessing trade threats and developing mitigation strategies.

This study delves into the intricate correlation between emotional intelligence and employee performance within the dynamic setting of Saudi small and medium enterprises. Acknowledging the increasing importance of emotional intelligence in the workplace, this study examines how emotional intelligence influences employee performance, with particular attention to the mediating role of organizational citizenship behavior. Employing a comprehensive research framework, the study integrates quantitative methods to analyze data collected from 248 employees across various Saudi-based small and medium enterprises. The findings indicate that high emotional intelligence enhances employee performance, with organizational citizenship behavior serving as a crucial mediator, strengthening the positive impact of emotional intelligence on performance. The results demonstrated a robust positive correlation with organizational citizenship behavior (β = 0.719***) and a moderate positive correlation with employee performance (β = 0.314***). In addition, organizational citizenship behavior played a significant positive mediating role between employee intelligence and employee performance (β = 0.397***). This suggests a nuanced interplay among emotional intelligence, organizational citizenship behavior, and overall employee performance within the specific context of Saudi small and medium enterprises. In this research paper, we investigate the variables that impact the behavioural intention of cryptocurrency investors in India. The analysis of the data was done using smart partial least square-structural equation modelling. The study was carried out in India using purposive sampling and included investors who had a fundamental understanding of cryptocurrency. It has been established that factors such as financial literacy, facilitating conditions, social influence, effort expectancy and performance expectancy have a significant influence on the investment behaviour of these individuals. The study looks at how the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology model with financial literacy affects the behaviour of cryptocurrency investment.

This research aims to understand current patterns, trends, and gaps in personal finance by conducting a systematic literature review of 20 years. The study collected and analyzed the articles published between 2004 to 2024. The research articles were collected from the Scopus database using the PRISMA framework. The review shows changes in the research area, including behavioural finance, digital financial planning tools, and its impact on individuals' financial literacy and planning. The major limitation of this study is that the literature search for personal financial planning might not have incorporated all publications in this area. Furthermore, there is a possibility of bias in this review concerning the papers selected for review and how the researchers interpreted the results. The findings of this systematic literature review can assist policymakers, financial planners, and practitioners in making more informed financial planning decisions and regulations. Thus, by identifying the trends and gaps in personal financial planning, strategies can be defined to provide individuals and society with the necessary level of support. The research is helpful to existing knowledge in that it presents a critical discussion of the personal financial planning literature evident in the last twenty years. The research is original and provides valuable information for upcoming research and practical application in personal financial planning.

This study to examines the factors that can affect the Exports of Pakistan, by paying particular attention to letter of credit financing of Islamic banks in Pakistan and exchange rate. Sample data of Islamic listed Banks is selected from last twelve years i.e., 2010 to 2022 with 975 observations. Study measure exports performance using exports figures of Pakistan as the proxy for Export performance while external factors namely letter of credit financing of Islamic banks and exchange rate used as an influencing factor. Applying panel analysis, the results provide positive association Pakistan’s Export with Islamic banks letter of credit financing and exchange rate, indicating that easy availability of letter of credit financing and favorable exchange rate can help increase Pakistan’s exports. The study's findings can aid policy managers, particularly those hoping to boost exports and foreign exchange through them, as well as managers seeking to broaden their knowledge of the key elements influencing export performance.

This study is an endeavor to identify key significant determinants of capital structure for Shariah-tagged banks. A total of 47 Shariah banks' nine years i.e. from 2013 to 2021 Balance Panel Data is used. The leverage ratio is nominated as a dependent variable, whereas, liquidity, return on assets, gross domestic product, return on equity, tangibility, growth, size, and capital adequacy ratio are designated as explanatory variables. The Panel Data Static model and Dynamic model via the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) are executed. The results specify that liquidity, gross domestic product, tangibility, lagged dependent variable, and profitability i.e. measured by return on equity are positively significant determinants. Besides, the significant lagged variable, tangibility, liquidity, and existence of SOA infer the significance of the Dynamic Trade-off theory. Based on the identified significant determinants, the policymakers can develop similar policies to formulate the capital structure of whole Shariah banks.

Countries should focus on the improvements to achieve sustainable development goals. However, taking these actions create some operational costs. Thus, it is appropriate for rising nations to prioritize sustainable development objectives. Due to this condition, more critical sustainable development goals should be identified. Accordingly, this study evaluates green energy-oriented sustainable development goals for emerging economies. Within this context, a model is generated by considering the golden cut and bipolar q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (q-ROFSs). The novelty of this study is to identify key green energy-oriented sustainable development goals for the improvement of emerging economies by an original model based on the golden cut and bipolar q-ROF decision making approach. All results are similar, indicating the proposed model's validity and coherency. It is concluded that increasing renewable energy is the most significant target with a weight of 0.235 regarding green energy-oriented sustainable development. Cooperation and efficiency are other significant issues for this condition, with weights of 0.198 and 0.196. It is also identified that Turkey and Mexico are the most successful countries in reaching green energy-oriented sustainable development goals. Increasing the share of renewable energy in total energy production and consumption is important for emerging countries. For this situation, governments should provide subsidies for renewable energy investors to provide a cost advantage. In this context, issues such as tax cuts and loans with low-interest rates can increase the motivation of clean energy investors.

The study was conducted on 125 US based high-tech firms from software engineering, hardware production, biotechnology, and telecommunications. Senior-level executives, including CEOs, board members, and CTOs, provided insights through structured questionnaires. Key findings indicate that AI adoption significantly enhances organizational capabilities in terms of employees’ innovation, creativity, and experimentation. Moreover, AI adaptation positively impacts decision making thus yielding more accurate and timely valuable decisions. These findings contribute to both theoretical understanding and managerial practice by guiding strategic investments in AI technologies, fostering innovation, and advocating for ethical AI deployment practices. Future study should examine longitudinal impacts across industries and regions to optimize benefits and minimize risks in digital transformation efforts. It should also integrate qualitative methods for deeper insights and appropriate AI governance systems.

The current research contributes to sustainable development and world ecology by identifying key areas, current dynamics, and key organizations' contributors and providing significant directions toward future research on the relationship between Green Governance (GG) and Firm Performance (FP). This study carried out bibliometric systematized research using the keywords ''Green Governance'' AND ''Firm Performance'' from the Scopus database, of which 238 scientific papers were retrieved between 2002 and 2022. The assessment was conducted using inclusion and exclusion eligibility criteria adopted from the PRISMA 2022 flow diagram, which illustrates the sequential progression of information throughout various stages of a systematic review. Therefore, 209 research were analyzed using the Biblioshiny (Bibliometrix R package) for the science mapping workflow. The study found that the major research focus in this area is around firm performance, environmental management, environmental performance, and ''sustainability followed sequentially are the prominent research topics in this field. The findings further revealed that there had been a 21% drop in publication in recent years. Undoubtedly, there is growing research, especially by renowned authors on exploring the impact on firm performance. The major studies are conducted in China and the United States, engaged in the most significant collaboration. At the same time, the impact on most countries in Africa, South America, and a few in Asia is minute. Lastly, this study has also proposed five reasonable research directions based on the identified research gaps and the research framework for future analysis.

Purpose: The World Bank's "Ease of Doing Business" index, among other business rankings, can help a country's economic progress by attracting foreign investments, encouraging entrepreneurship, and improving the business climate. Superior rankings indicate an optimised environment for business activities, which could boost investments, job opportunities, and overall economic growth. The research is conducted to assess the impact of a country's business ranking on economic development. Design/methodology/approach: The Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method was used to assess the impact of a country's business ranking on its economic trajectory. The official World Bank report was used to obtain data from 2015 to 2021. Panel data of Global Innovation Ranking, Ease of Doing Business Ranking, and Business Freedom Ranking from 2016 to 2021 is the basis of this study. The researcher has used a conceptual framework to establish and understand the dependence among the dependent and independent variables. For measuring statistical association, the researcher has used structural equation modelling and path diagram along with correlation and regression analysis. The correlation has been used to assess their association, while the researcher has used regression to determine the impact of country business ranking. Findings: The investigator investigated the impact of India's standings in the Global Innovation Ranking, Ease of Doing Business Ranking, and Business Freedom Ranking on its Economic Development, specifically GDP, in this study. The study's findings show that India's business rankings have a significant impact on its economic development. Such global business rankings provide critical data points for policymakers, businesses, and investors to make informed decisions, thereby promoting economic growth. Furthermore, the study examined the effects of GDP growth on the combustion of fossil fuels, as measured in million tonnes, emphasising the environmental consequences of economic expansion. Research limitations/implications: It's imperative to note that this is just an estimate, and the actual relationship between the variables in the population may differ from this estimate. The estimate is based on the sample data used to fit the model and may not accurately reflect the true relationship in the population. Further analysis and interpretation of the model's goodness of fit and consideration of other factors, such as outliers or omitted variables, are essential to fully apprehend the relationship between "GIR" and the dependent variable. The results of global business rankings can help policymakers identify areas for improvement in their country's business environment. By focusing on the areas where their country is lagging behind, they can develop policies and initiatives to attract more investment, create a more favourable business environment, and support economic growth. Businesses can use the results of global rankings to evaluate potential locations for expansion or investment. It can provide insights into the ease of starting and running a business, access to credit, property rights protection, and other important factors to businesses. Investors can also use the results of global rankings to make informed decisions about where to invest their capital. Higher rankings indicate a more stable and favourable business environment, leading to increased investment and economic growth. Global business rankings generally provide valuable information that policymakers, businesses, and investors can use to make informed decisions and support economic development. The escalating environmental impact of IT products in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, has prompted the exploration of specific green IT adoption practices, such as the use of energy-efficient computers, renewable energy-powered devices, and electronics with sustainability certifications. However, existing theoretical models often overlook aspects of long-term usage and resistance to technology adoption. To bridge this gap, this study integrates the widely recognized Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Innovation Resistance Theory (IRT) to understand the drivers and barriers affecting consumers’ intention to adopt green IT products. Cross-sectional data were collected from 237 consumers using an online survey. Variance-based structural equation modeling (SEM), specifically partial least squares (PLS)-SEM analysis, was employed. The results underscore the importance of perceived ease of use and usefulness as key drivers of adoption intention. Simultaneously, active innovation resistance, encompassing usage, value, and risk factors, and passive innovation resistance, linked to image and traditions, emerged as significant barriers. Increased passive barriers underlined the necessity for particular approaches to overcome them. Using acceptance and resistance theories, this research has improved our knowledge of IT adoption dynamics. This study helps practitioners promote green IT adoption by emphasising user-friendly design and passive resistance. We discuss the study’s limitations and advise additional research.

Precision medicine (PM) is an approach to healthcare that customizes treatment and prevention strategies based on individual characteristics such as genetics, environment, and lifestyle. By utilizing detailed data from diverse populations, precision medicine aims to provide accurate and effective medical care tailored to each person’s unique profile. This approach relies on the diversity of local populations which is increasingly captured through large-scale data sets, often referred to as Big Data. Due to the underrepresentation of non-European individuals in human genetic studies, many countries with diverse and underrepresented populations must build their own reference database due to a lack of holistic global perspective. This research investigated a population sub-group to better understand the factors shaping their attitudes of PM adoption in an Asian developed context. This research was based on the millennial generation in Singapore (born between 1981 and 1996). The study employed a quantitative online survey, based on the TAM theoretical framework. A total of 377 valid responses were received and the results were analysed using the structural equation modelling (SEM) technique. Results showed that perceived data security, subjective technical knowledge, trust in government, subjective norm and perceived usefulness influenced the attitude of millennials towards precision medicine and provided relevant insights for the successful implementation of PM approach in the future.

This study examines the banking sector’s performance by conducting a two-step analysis using balanced panel data from 46 commercial banks operating in India between 2011 and 2023. Initially, we utilized the Data Envelopment Window Analysis and Malmquist Productivity Index measures to analyze the efficiency and total factor productivity index. Second, applying panel regression, we used the CAMELS framework to regress various bank and country-specific factors against Indian banks’ performance indicators. The results show that the banking industry in India witnessed a consistent pattern throughout the study period. Despite this, an examination of each bank’s performance at the individual level reveals that public banks consistently display the highest average efficiency score, whereas foreign banks are more productivity-advanced. The regression results suggest that Indian Banks have been significantly affected by bank, country-specific and market structure factors. Government initiatives to consolidate banks, positively affect the profitability, productivity, and efficiency of banks, and smooth resource mobilization might cushion an emerging economy such as India.

This study empirically investigates how companies listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) manage their earnings from 2010 to 2019. It also examines the impact of Corporate Governance (CG) on the choice of Earnings Management (EM) strategies among these companies. The study employs data from companies listed on the PSX during the period from 2010 to 2019 to test these relationships. Researchers in current research used discretionary accrual as proxy to measure the EM by using the model that was modified by Jones. Future probability is measured a year ahead cash flow taken from operation, that is, a year ahead discretionary income and a year ahead earnings’ change. To conduct empirical analysis the researchers estimated Feasible Generalized Least Square (FGLS) and results of study revealed that earnings management in the firms selected from Pakistan Stock Exchange have opportunistic earnings management approach. Researchers found that there is a weak but significant impact of managerial ownership for the type of EM. Organizations which have a high level of managerial ownership are found efficient in EM as compared to rest of types of ownership. Contrarily, it has been found that there is not any significant evidence for institutional ownership (IO), Family Ownership (FO), larger board (LB), independent board (IB) and Firms with high ratio of independent directors for audit committee to engage in efficient level of EM. The finding has implications for policymakers and regulators to place additional monitoring on firms to control opportunistic earnings manipulations.

This research investigates the impact of tax justice perception and tax understanding on the compliance of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) with government regulation Number 55, 2022, in Surabaya. The study, conducted at KPP Pratama Surabaya Wonocolo employs a quantitative approach, with primary data gathered from 120 SME taxpayers through questionnaires. Data analysis is performed using SPSS version 22, using multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, F test, and t-test. Results indicate that both the perception of tax justice and understanding of taxes positively influence SME taxpayers’ compliance in Surabaya. Additionally, when considered simultaneously, these factors collectively impact the compliance of SME taxpayers with government regulation Number 55, 2022. The findings suggest that fostering a sense of tax justice perception and enhancing tax understanding among SMEs in Surabaya can significantly contribute to improving their compliance with government regulations. The research focused exclusively on SME taxpayers registered with KPP Pratama Surabaya Wonocolo, a subset under the Directorate General of Taxation East Java Regional Office 1. While this selection was based on the office’s consistently high number of taxpayers, future studies within this domain should consider these inherent limitations. The originality of our research lies in its focus on the specific context of Surabaya, Indonesia, and its investigation into the impact of tax justice perception and tax understanding on the compliance of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) with government regulation Number 55, 2022. The research addresses the recent regulatory changes in Tax Law No. 55 of 2022, which specifically targets Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Entrepreneurship helps to mainstream the disadvantaged. In order to design policy for the promotion of entrepreneurship among disadvantaged people a proper understanding of entrepreneurship is imperative and cognition has been considered as the best interpreter of entrepreneurship. This study aimed to explore the driving forces and hindrances that influence disadvantaged individuals in their decision to initiate entrepreneurial endeavors. We are using a sample of 1173 people taken from the low-income population of India. The data is analyzed through the use of the Logistic regression technique. The result reflects that attitude, subjective norms, self-efficacy, perceived opportunities and role models encourage Indian disadvantaged to start business. This research contributes to two existing theories: challenge-based entrepreneurship and the theory of planned behavior. It also sheds light on a previously understudied group - disadvantaged entrepreneurs in developing economies. This knowledge can be used by policymakers to create programs that encourage entrepreneurship at the grassroots level.

Purpose: This research study presents empirical evidence supporting the practicality of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) when it comes to predicting intentions and behaviors in Pakistan's organic food industry. The study builds upon prior research by conducting a comprehensive examination of the various components of the TPB. Design/Methodology/Approach: The data collection process involved selecting 350 consumers as the target sample using the purposive sampling technique. The data collection period spanned over a duration of two months. To analyze the data, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using Smart PLS 4.0 was employed. Implications/Originality/Value: The study highlights the importance of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control in predicting intentions related to organic food consumption. It provides theoretical contributions by extending the research on the TPB model, emphasizing the role of environmental knowledge as a moderator, and revealing insights into the significant relationship between attitude, subjective norms, perceived control behaviour and purchase intention and shows significant and positive impact of environmental knowledge between independent and dependent variables.

In the race to forecast consumer behaviours and purchase patterns, a culmination of new ideas, theories, and research is brought forth and used. One such contemporary study on consumer behaviour is the subject of neuromarketing. An underlying theme among several key concepts in defining neuromarketing is the ability to measure consumers’ brain activities; it aims to understand the reasoning and reactions toward specific offerings. Although the field of study has garnered worldwide interest, the subject of neuromarketing is only starting to gain traction in Malaysia, with only a few existing literatures observed. This study plans to assess the readiness of companies in Malaysia to implement neuromarketing as part of their overall strategic marketing plan, as well as the comfort level of companies in deploying neuromarketing to increase the effectiveness of the companies’ performance. By applying mixed-method research, several small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) would be selected to explore and subsequently examine their comprehension, readiness, and implementation of neuromarketing.
