Introduction: This paper presents results from a set of numerical studies on the cracked reinforced concrete column at high temperature. Methods: The macroscopic finite element model used in the accounts analysis for high temperature properties of constitutive materials. The validity of the model is established by comparing the predictions from numerical analysis with the data measured in the fire test. Result and Conclusion: Data from the test indicated that the temperature of rebar in column with cracks is 57% ~ 130% higher than that without cracks under the same condition, and different types of crack had significant influence on the bearing capacity of column. These results from parametric studies were utilized to propose ultimate bearing capacity of cracked reinforced concrete column.

Introduction: This paper presents results from an experimental study on the temperature effect of reinforced concrete cantilever beam. Methods: Three cantilever beams with fixed end were tested in fire furnace, the distribution of temperature field, the deformation law and the fire resistance of the cantilever beam were obtained. Results: Results from these tests indicate that the horizontal section of the temperature curve is about 100 degrees centigrade. The bending capacity of the beam is weaken at high temperature and the failure mode of beam is bending failure. Data from tests also indicates that the plastic hinge of the end of beam moves outward about 240 mm.

Prestressed Steel Reinforced Concrete (PSRC) Structure is a new system by combining PC technology and steel reinforced concrete (SRC) structure, and is a technical innovation to the conventional structures, such as concrete structures, PC structures and SRC structures. Because having much virtue, for instance high bearing capacity, fine serviceable performance, covering and over loading capability, it will have expansive application. The serviceable performance can be observably improved by putting PC technology on the SRC beams, such as rigidity and crack resistibility degree. Based on static loading experiments of seven PSRC beams with different designing coefficients, the experimental phenomena as loading process, failure pattern are studied, and the primarily influencing factors on flexural performance have been contrasted to educe conclusion for future design.

Reinforced concrete frame joints (RCFJ) under(after) fire are analyzed by ABAQUS. Joints are heated under dead load by ABAQUS. Subroutines mtemp was programmed to record the highest temperature which nodes experienced. Then the highest temperatures will be put to joints as predefined temperature field by subroutines utemp after high temperature. Load is applied by displacement control. Material's nonlinearity and the bond-slip between reinforced and concrete are both considered. The stress distribution of joints' core is accurately analyzed after unit-choose and meshing precisely. seismic performance of RCFJ are analyzed under statically cyclic load, which is in accordance with experimental results.

Angle iron is embedded in the level lime gap which is in the wall upon the hole to be opened. They work together with the upper wall well and upper load is borne effectively. Arching principle of wrapping angle iron method is carried out firstly and then its advantage is obtained by comparing the other different reinforcement-rehabilitation methods. Construction plan of wrapping angle iron method is presented at last. The method has been applied in a true project and designer can reference the method for similar project.
