Abstract: A Dec. 1994 market survey reveals the most popular toys among consumers. Results show that the most popular toys are Barbie, Nintendo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman, Hot Wheels and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Of these products, Barbie and Power Rangers are considered to be most suitable as Christmas gifts. The toy category that was ranked as the most popular is board games, particularly Candyland, Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly. The next most popular categories are dolls and video games.
