China’s financial service industry is developing rapidly. Under the background of globalization and informatization, the structure of the financial system is constantly adjusted. Therefore, re-examining the spatial layout characterizing the overall financial industry has profound importance. Based on point of interest data, we utilize Nanjing as a case study and the analysis spatial pattern and agglomerative characteristics of the financial service industry. The research is conducted through various spatial measurement methods and negative binomial regression models as well as factors affecting the overall spatial distribution of the industry. Results indicate that Nanjing’s financial service industry has prominent features of agglomeration-oriented characteristics, while spatial distribution generally presents a “northwest–southeast” trend, i.e., a layout formed along transport lines and facilities and from the central business district to the suburbs is steadily being reduced. The spatial distribution, concentration and scale of financial service companies, business halls, and automatic teller machines in Nanjing vary widely. Market demand, corporate agglomeration effect, geographical location, transportation facilities, and population size and dynamics have profoundly affected the distribution pattern of the financial service industry Nanjing-wide. Accordingly, this research provides some reference and suggestion for the construction of financial centers, the formulation of policies to optimize the layout of financial industries, and as a research benchmark for other developing countries in the process of rapid urbanization.

A global pandemic Covid-19 led countries to take aggressive action regarding social management and crisis governance management system. The case of a pandemic discovered in Wuhan provides a lesson for the government worldwide to adopt. However, the government system in every country has its characteristics. This study aims to release the potential policy recommendation in Indonesia when Indonesia's regional autonomy system faces a challenge in the pandemic situation, such as the increase of competition between regions. Even more, the public service system becomes concerned with the ego regionality. The strengthening country's capacity system is vital in the regional autonomy system as well as the collaboration between central and local government in terms of containment of the spread of the pandemic. Used a political ecology approach and a descriptive- review method, this study was conducted by discussing how the government responds in the regional autonomy system at the beginning of the pandemic situation. The review results show that the local government's response relies on their capacities, such as budget, human resources, and leadership. However, challenges arise when central and local governments' action is not in line in terms of the regional autonomy system. The public and political communication among central and local governments should be rearranged with an integration under proper management, particularly in the first month of the pandemic situation.

The research focuses on describing the implementation of the policy of developing and empowering social communication institutions of community information groups in Kejaksan Subdistrict, Cirebon City. In relation to the policy implementation, questions of the research are: (1) how the policy of community information groups in Kejaksan Subdistrict is implemented, (2) what factors support and inhibit the policy implementation in Kejaksan Subdistrict, and (3) what efforts are conducted to develop and to empower the social communication institutions of community information groups in Kejaksan Subdistrict. Method of the research is descriptive-qualitative. Data of the research are collected through observation and interviews. Results of the research indicate that the community information groups can be the facilitator for the community, the partner of the local government, the aspiration and information channel for the community. The implementation of the government policy of developing and empowering social communication institutions of community information groups in Kejaksan Subdistrict finds another dimension, namely the importance of budget and fund and monitoring, in addition to the factors of policy implementation used as an approach of the research.Keywords: Policy Implementation, Community Information Group, Social Communication, Empowerment.

The performance of reinforced concrete (RC) element may be deficient for a variety of causes. Correct actions should be taken to resume the performance of the deficient element to maintain the strength and serviceability of the structure. A deficient RC column element may be identified in the form of spalling of concrete cover. A patching method could be selected to recover the damaged area and, hopefully, regain the strength of the damaged RC column to its original value. This research aims to investigate the suitability of patch repair material to recover the performance of damaged RC column. The investigation is carried out by comparing the behaviour of patched RC columns with the corresponding normal RC column. The eccentric loading has been set up in this investigation to induce compression failure of the RC columns. The simulated area of damage is patched using unsaturated polyester resin mortar (UPR mortar). The results indicate that the mode of failure is not induced at the patched sections. The presence of patching causes a redistribution of stress at the patched section in such a way, so a higher stress transfer occurs in the undamaged zone and in the longitudinal reinforcements compared to those of the normal column. The capacity of the patched RC columns is only 71–92% of the normal RC column.

The urban network is an important method of spatial optimization, and measuring the development level of the urban network is a prerequisite for spatial optimization. Combining geographic information system (GIS) spatial analysis, social network analysis, and multidimensional scaling models, we explored the evolution of the urban network spatial structure in the Yangtze River Delta from 1990 to 2017 and proposed corresponding optimization measures. The results showed that the urban network spatial structure of the Yangtze River Delta has evolved from a single-center cluster with Shanghai as its core to a multi-center network with Shanghai as its core and Nanjing, Hangzhou, and Hefei as secondary cores. The density of the urban network has gradually expanded, but the strength of the connection between edge cities such as Chizhou, Suqian, and Quzhou and the core cities needs to be further improved. We found that the evolution of the urban network spatial structure has been driven by preferential attachment, path dependence, and differences in economic and industrial development. Finally, we propose optimizing the urban network spatial structure by strengthening the driving ability of the core cities, clarifying urban functions and development directions, and establishing a unified coordination mechanism. This paper enriches and deepens our understanding of the characteristics of the city network in the Yangtze River Delta, and provides a reference for the optimization of the urban network spatial structure.

The purpose of the “Made in China 2025” strategy is to enhance the innovation capabilities of the local manufacturing industry and achieve green and sustainable development. The role of innovation in the development of manufacturing is a hotspot in academic research, though only a few studies have analyzed the interaction between green technology manufacturing efficiency and its external innovation capabilities. This study used the 2011–2017 Chinese A-share listed manufacturing companies as samples to discuss whether regional innovation capabilities can promote the improvement of green technology manufacturing efficiency. The results showed that a significant spatial correlation between regional innovation capability and green technology manufacturing efficiency was prevalent within spatial heterogeneous bounds. In addition, regional innovation capability directly promoted the effective manufacturing of green technology efficiency, which was strongest in the eastern region of the country. Regional innovation capabilities also had a positive effect on human capital and government revenue, thereby further enhancing the green technology efficiency of manufacturing through the intermediary effect. Based on the above conclusions, some policy recommendations are put forward to facilitate the improvement of China’s regional innovation capabilities in terms of green technology efficiency in manufacturing.

Repair of deteriorated reinforced concrete (RC) elements may be necessary to restore their strength and serviceability. In this research, unsaturated polyester resin (UPR)-mortar is used to repair one-way RC slabs. The performance of the patched RC slabs is investigated experimentally by comparing their behaviour under concentrated load with the corresponding normal slab. The obtained load–deflection relationship up to failure and the cracking failure mode are assessed to determine the efficacy of the UPR-mortar in restoring the strength and serviceability of the slabs. In addition, theoretical ultimate loads determined on the basis of the yield line theory are used to assess the effectiveness of UPR-mortar to restore the strength of the damaged RC slab. As long as a proper execution of repair is carried out, the results indicate a satisfactory performance of UPR-mortar to be used for repairing the damaged RC slabs.

Degradation of reinforced concrete (RC) element could lead to a reduction of its strength and serviceability. The degradation may be identified in the form of spalling of concrete cover. For the case of RC beam, spalling of concrete cover could occur at the web of the shear span due to corrosion of the web reinfocements. The shear strength of the damaged-RC beam possibly will become less conservative compared to the corresponding flexural strength with a risk of brittle failure. Patch repair could be a choice to recover the size and strength of the damaged-RC beam. This research investigates the shear failure of patched RC beam without web reinforcements with a particular interest to compare the shear failure behaviour of patched RC beam and normal RC beam. The patch repair material used in this research was unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) mortar. The results indicate that the initial diagonal cracks leading to shear failure of patched RC beam occur at a lower level of loading. However, the patched RC beam could carry a greater load before the diagonal crack propagates in length and width causing the beam to fail in shear.

The Earthquake causes damage to buildings and casualties. Design of buildings against earthquake loads is very important so during an earthquake the building does not collapse and no casualties. Especially for important buildings like the Ingrated Central Surgery Building or Gedung Bedah Sentral Terpadu (GBST) Bethesda Hospital Yogyakarta is expected to keep functioning and have not experienced significant damage after the earthquake. In performance based design, level of performance for hospital buildings is lmmediate Occupancy (IO). The purpose of this research is to know actually performance level of the structure GBST Bethesda Hospital in Yogyakarta. Evaluation method use is non-linear static analysis (Pushover). The lateral load determining by static equivalent analisys, the lateral load given monotonic in one direction step by step. Performance level determine in Capacity Spectrume Method according Applied Technologi Council (ATC 40,1996) the result is performance point and displacement targets method according Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA 356,2000). Structure performance level specified by drift ratio required by ATC 40 (1996). The result of evaluation according ATC 40 (1996) in the X direction obtained value of displacement at 0.174m, in the direction Y at 0.185m while the according FEMA 356 (2000) the displacement in direction X at 0.137m and Y direction at 0.179m. The value of drift ratio actual is less than 1% so the performance level for earthquake return period of 2500 years is the Immediate Occupancy.

Program ekonomi China Belt and Road Initiatives (BRI) memiliki pengaruh besar pada laju ekonomi dunia, terutama di negara-negara tuan rumah yang berpartisipasi di dalamnya. Indonesia adalah negara yang menjadi bagian dari program ini di kawasan Asia Tenggara, mengalami dampak yang cukup besar dalam hal pembangunan ekonomi dan peningkatan nilai investasi asing, yang ditandai dengan penambahan proyek investasi di berbagai bidang industri. Pertumbuhan investasi asing Cina di Indonesia dapat dilihat dari perkembangan taman industri Cina di beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Artikel ini disusun dengan melakukan tinjauan literatur dan pengumpulan data yang akurat yang bersumber dari Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal Indonesia (BKPM) dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis potensi dan tantangan yang muncul dari FDI Tiongkok untuk Indonesia dan sebaliknya. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah, terlepas dari potensi pangsa pasar Indonesia karena jumlah penduduk yang besar, kemudahan memperoleh bahan baku untuk produksi dan upah minimum untuk pekerja lokal relatif rendah. Namun, bagi investor Cina, hal ini diikuti oleh tantangan yang juga muncul, seperti harga tanah yang tinggi, infrastruktur Indonesia yang tidak memadai, dan berbagai peraturan investasi di hampir setiap wilayah. Bagi Indonesia, peningkatan FDI Cina mendorong lapangan kerja, memberikan peluang bagi alih teknologi dan pengetahuan. Namun, masalah lain muncul, seperti persaingan untuk pengusaha lokal dan kekhawatiran tentang ketergantungan ekonomi Indonesia pada Cina. Selain itu, untuk mendapatkan pemahaman komprehensif tentang taman Industri Cina dan dampaknya, penelitian masa depan dengan penelitian survei lapangan sangat dianjurkan.(The China Belt and Road Initiatives (BRI) economic program has an enormous influence on the pace of the world economy, especially in host countries that participate in it. Indonesia is a country that is a part of this program in the Southeast Asian region, experienced a considerable impact in terms of economic development and an increase in the value of a foreign investment, which is marked by the addition of investment projects in various fields of industry. The growth of Chinese foreign investment in Indonesia can be seen by the development of Chinese industrial parks in several regions in Indonesia. This article was prepared by conducting a literature review and accurate data collection sourced from the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (IICB) with the objectives to analyze the potentials and challenges that arise from Chinese FDI for Indonesia and vice versa. The results obtained from this study are, despite the potential of the Indonesian market share due to the large population, the ease of obtaining raw materials for production and the minimum wage for local workers is relatively low. However, for Chinese investors, it is followed by challenges that also arise, such as high land prices, inadequate Indonesian infrastructure, and different investment regulations in almost every region. For Indonesia, an increase in Chinese FDI encourages employment, provides opportunities for the transfer of technology and knowledge. However, other issues arise, such as competition for local entrepreneurs and concerns about Indonesia's economic dependence on China.Besides, to get a comprehensive understanding of Chinese Industrial parks and their impact, future research with field survey research is highly recommended).

China has gradually become an important world investor with the implementations of its &ldquo, Going Global&rdquo, and &ldquo, Belt and Road&rdquo, strategy initiatives. Indonesia is the world&rsquo, s largest archipelagic country, and has the largest economy of the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations). Therefore, Indonesia is an important node for China&rsquo, s implementation of its &ldquo, initiative. However, the existing research results regarding China&rsquo, s OFDI (Outward Foreign Direct Investment) in Indonesia have indicated that little focus has been placed on the distribution patterns and determinants at the provincial levels. In this study, spatial analysis and mathematical statistics methods were used to analyze the temporal and spatial pattern evolution characteristics of China&rsquo, s OFDI in Indonesia for the period ranging from 2006 to 2016. Also, the mechanism of the pattern evolution was quantitatively identified. The results obtained in this research study indicated the following: (1) China&rsquo, s OFDI in Indonesia was observed to be characterized by fluctuations in investment amounts and rising numbers of investment projects, also, the investment amounts and number of projects were spatially dispersed, (2) the overall spatial evolution of China&rsquo, s OFDI in Indonesia was found to be characterized by certain patterns, such as &ldquo, west higher than the east, and south higher than the north&rdquo, patterns. Moreover, the direction of the investment gravity center was determined to be obviously distinct during different periods, (3) high-level investments were found to be focused in only a few provinces, meanwhile, the majority of the provinces continued to be in a low-level stable state of investment from China, (4) this study&rsquo, s OLS (Ordinary Least Square) regression and step-wise regression models revealed that institutional factors, political relations, and human resources were the most important factors which had affected China&rsquo, s OFDI in Indonesia during the study period.

Latar belakang: Gangguan durasi haid pada pramugari dapat mengganggu performa kerja. Tujuan penelitianadalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor risiko yang terhadap gangguan durasi haid pada pramugari.Metode: Penelitian potong lintang dengan sampling purposif dilakukan pada pramugari berusia 19–50 tahunyang melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan berkala di Balai Kesehatan Penerbangan dan Garuda Sentra Medikatanggal 18–29 Mei 2015. Gangguan durasi haid ialah durasi haid lebih dari 8 hari dan/atau lebih pendek daribiasa (3–5 hari). Stres diidentifikasi dengan kriteria National Institute for Occupational Safety and HealthGeneric Job Stress Questionnaire Mental Demands Form Number 11. Analisis dilakukan dengan regresi Cox.Hasil: Di antara 521 pramugari sebanyak 393 setuju berpartisipasi, 19 dieksklusi karena menderita gangguandurasi haid sebelum bekerja, sehingga diperoleh 374 subyek untuk analisis, dan 35,8% di antaranya menderitagangguan durasi haid. Stres kerja, jenis penerbangan dan usia merupakan faktor risiko dominan terhadapgangguan durasi haid. Pramugari dengan stres kerja memiliki risiko menderita gangguan durasi haid 58%lebih tinggi [risiko relatif suaian (RRa) = 1,58; interval kepercayaan (CI) = 0,96-2,62; P = 0,071]. Pramugaridengan jenis penerbangan jarak jauh dalam tiga bulan terakhir memiliki risiko 69% lebih tinggi mengalamigangguan durasi haid (RRa=1,69; CI=1,17-2,43). The research objectivewas to identify risk factors related to menstrual duration disorder in female flight attendants.Methods: A cross-sectional study with convenient sampling was conducted on civilian female flightattendants age 19–50 years who underwent routine medical examination at Civil Aviation Medical Centerand Garuda Sentra Medika, Jakarta on May 18-29 2015. Menstrual duration disorder is menstruation morethan 8 days and/or shorter than usual perid (3-5 days). Stress was identified by usingcriteria of NationalInstitute for Occupational Safety and Health Generic Job Stress Questionnaire Mental Demands FormNumber 11. Relative risk was analyzed usng Cox regression.Results: Among 521 female civilian flight attendants, 393 were willing to participate in this study. Nineteensubjects were excluded, leaving 374 subjects for this analysis, and 35.8% of subjects had menstrualduration disorder. Job stress, flight type and age were dominant risk factors for menstrual duration disorder.Subjects with job stress and long haul flight within three months had higher risk for having menstrualduration disorder by 58% [adjusted relative risk (RRa) = 1.58; confidence interval (CI) = 0.96-2.62; P =0.071] and 69% (RRa = 1.69; CI = 1.17-2.43) respectively. Those between aged 30-39 years had 50% hadless risk of having menstrual duration disorder (RRa=0.50; 95% CI = 0.22-1.02; P = 0.057).Conclusion: Female civilian flight attendants with job stress, long haul flight within three months and youngerage had higher risk to be menstrual duration disorder.
