Abstract: We report a high-statistics measurement of the relative branching fraction Br(D0 --> pi+pi-pi0)/Br(D0 --> K-pi+pi0). A 357 inverse fb data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider was used for the analysis. The relative branching fraction Br(D0 --> pi+pi-pi0)/Br(D0 --> K-pi+pi0) is determined with an accuracy comparable to the latest world average value.

Abstract: We present the first observation of τ lepton decays to hadronic final states with a ϕ -meson. This analysis is based on 401 fb −1 of data accumulated at the Belle experiment. The branching fraction obtained is B ( τ − → ϕ K − ν τ ) = ( 4.05 ± 0.25 ± 0.26 ) × 10 −5 .

Abstract: We present measurements of the branching fraction, the polarization parameters and CP-violating asymmetries in B0→D*+D *- decays using a 140 fb-1 data sample collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB energy-asymmetric e+e- collider. We obtain B(B0→D*+D*-)=[0. 81±0.08(stat)±0.11(syst)]×10-3, R⊥=0.19±0. 08(stat)±0.01(syst), R0=0.57±0.08(stat)±0.02(syst), S=-0.75±0.56(stat)±0.12(syst) and A=-0.26±0.26(stat) ±0.06(syst). Consistency with Standard Model expectations is also discussed.

Abstract: We report the observation of B0 decays to the K+π-π0 final state using a data sample of 78 fb-1 collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider. With no assumptions about intermediate states in the decay, the branching fraction is measured to be (36.6-4.3+4.2±3.0)×10-6. We also search for B decays to intermediate two-body states with the same K+π-π0 final state. Significant B signals are observed in the ρ(770)-K+ and K*(892)+π- channels, with branching fractions of (15.1-3.3-1.5-2.1+3.4+1.4+2.0)×10-6 and (14.8-4.4-1.0-0.9+4.6+1.5+2.4) ×10-6, respectively. The first error is statistical, the second is systematic and the third is due to the largest possible interference. Contributions from other possible two-body states will be discussed. No CP asymmetry is found in the inclusive K+π-π0 or ρ-K+ modes, and we set 90% confidence level bounds on the asymmetry of -0.12

Abstract: We report on a study of $\bar{B^{0}} \to D^{(*) 0} \pi^+ \pi^-$ decays using 29.1 fb$^{-1}$ of $e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilation data recorded at the $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB storage ring. Making no assumptions about the intermediate mechanism, the branching fractions for $\bar{B}^0 \to D^0 \pi^+ \pi^-$ and $\bar{B}^0 \to D^{* 0} \pi^+ \pi^-$ are determined to be $(8.0 \pm 0.6 \pm 1.5) \times 10^{-4} $ and $ (6.2 \pm 1.2 \pm 1.8) \times 10^{-4}$ respectively. An analysis of $\bar{B^{0}} \to D^{0} \pi^+ \pi^-$ candidates yields to the first observation of the color-suppressed hadronic decay $\bar{B}^0 \to D^0 \rho^0$ with the branching fraction $(2.9 \pm 1.0 \pm 0.4) \times 10^{-4}$. We measure the ratio of branching fractions ${\mathcal B}(\bar{B^0} \to D^0 \rho^0) / {\mathcal B}(\bar{B^0} \to D^0 \omega)$ = 1.6 $\pm$ 0.8.

Abstract: The production of the \chi_{c2} charmonium state in two-photon collisions has been measured with the Belle detector at the KEKB e^+e^- collider. A clear signal for \chi_{c2} --> \gamma J/\psi, J/\psi --> l^+l^- is observed in a 32.6fb^{-1} data sample accumulated at center-of-mass energies near 10.6GeV, and the product of its two-photon decay width and branching fraction is determined to be \Gamma_{\gamma\gamma}(\chi_{c2})B(\chi_{c2} --> \gamma J/\psi) B(J/\psi --> l^+l^-)= 13.5 +/- 1.3(stat.) +/- 1.1(syst.)eV., Comment: 16 pages, 5 figures, to be submitted to Phys. Abstract: We present a measurement of the Cabibbo–Kobayashi–Maskawa (CKM) matrix element |Vcb| using a 10.2 fb−1 data sample recorded at the ϒ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric e+e− storage ring. By extrapolating the differential decay width of the B 0 →D ∗+ e − ν decay to the kinematic limit at which the D ∗+ is at rest with respect to the B 0 , we extract the product of |Vcb| with the normalization of the decay form factor F(1), |Vcb|F(1)=(3.54±0.19±0.18)×10−2, where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. A value of |Vcb|=(3.88±0.21±0.20±0.19)×10−2 is obtained using a theoretical calculation of F(1), where the third error is due to the theoretical uncertainty in the value of F(1). The branching fraction B ( B 0 →D ∗+ e − ν ) is measured to be (4.59±0.23±0.40)×10−2.

Abstract: We report measurements for two-body charmless B decays with an eta' meson in the final state. Using 11.1X10^6 BBbar pairs collected with the Belle detector, we find BF(B^+ ->eta'K^+)=(79^+12_-11 +-9)x10^-6 and BF(B^0 -> eta'K^0)=(55^+19_-16 +-8)x10^-6, where the first and second errors are statistical and systematic, respectively. No signal is observed in the mode B^+ -> eta' pi^+, and we set a 90% confidence level upper limit of BF(B^+-> eta'pi^+) eta'K^+- decays is investigated and a limit at 90% confidence level of -0.20

Abstract: We report on a search for the rare decay K_L -> pi^0 nu nubar in the KTeV experiment at Fermilab. We searched for two-photon events whose kinematics were consistent with an isolated pi^0 coming from the decay K_L -> pi^0 nu nubar. One candidate event was observed, which was consistent with the expected level of background. An upper limit on the branching ratio was determined to be B(K_L -> pi^0 nu nubar) < 1.6E-6 at the 90% confidence level.

Abstract: We report measurements of CP violation parameters in $B^0 \to K^0 \pi^0$ decays based on a data sample of $657 \times 10^6 B\bar{B}$ pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^+ e^-$ asymmetric-energy collider. We use $B^0 \to K^0_S \pi^0$ decays for both mixing-induced and direct $CP$ violating asymmetry measurements and $B^0 \to K^0_L \pi^0$ decays for the direct CP violation measurement. The CP violation parameters obtained are $\sin 2 \phi_1^{\rm eff} = +0.67 \pm 0.31{(stat)} \pm 0.08 {(syst)}$ and $\mathcal{A}_{K^0 \pi^0} = +0.14 \pm 0.13{(stat)} \pm 0.06 {(syst)}$. The branching fraction of $B^0 \to K^0 \pi^0$ decay is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(B^0 \to K^0 \pi^0) = (8.7\pm0.5 (\rm{stat.})\pm0.6 (\rm{syst.}))\times 10^{-6}$. The observed $\mathcal{A}_{K^0 \pi^0}$ value differs by 1.9 standard deviations from the value expected from an isospin sum rule.

Abstract: We present a measurement of the branching fraction $B(D_s^+\to\mu^+\nu_\mu)$ using a 548 fb$^{-1}$ data sample collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB $e^+e^-$ collider. The $D_s$ momentum is determined by reconstruction of the system recoiling against $DK\gamma X$ in events of the type $e^+e^-\to D_s^\ast DKX, D_s^\ast \to D_s\gamma$, where $X$ represents additional pions or photons from fragmentation. The full reconstruction method provides high resolution in the neutrino momentum and thus good background separation, equivalent to that reached by experiments at the tau-charm factories. We obtain the branching fraction $B(D_s^+\to\mu^+\nu_\mu) = (6.44 \pm 0.76({\rm stat}) \pm 0.57({\rm syst})) \cdot 10^{-3}$, implying a $D_s$ decay constant of $f_{D_s} = (275 \pm 16({\rm stat}) \pm 12({\rm syst}))$ MeV.

Abstract: We report measurements of branching fractions for B -> K pi and B ->pi pi decays based on a data sample of 449x10(6) B (B) over bar pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. We also measure the ratios of partial widths for B -> K pi decays, namely R-c equivalent to 2 Gamma(B+-> K+pi(0))/Gamma(B+-> K-0 pi(+))=1.08 +/- 0.06 +/- 0.08 and R-n equivalent to Gamma(B-0 -> K+pi(-))/2 Gamma(B-0 -> K-0 pi(0))=1.08 +/- 0.08 +/- 0.08, where the first and the second errors are statistical and systematic, respectively. These ratios are sensitive to enhanced electroweak penguin contributions from new physics; the new measurements are, however, consistent with standard model expectations.

Abstract: We report the results of a study of neutral B meson decays to the D^0 pi+ pi- final state, where the D^0 is fully reconstructed. The results are obtained from an event sample containing 388 million BB-bar -meson pairs collected in the Belle experiment at the KEKB e^+e^- collider. The total branching fraction of the three-body decay B(bar{B}^0 -> D^0 pi^+ pi^-) =(8.4+-0.4(stat.)+-0.8(syst.)) 10^{-4} has been measured. The intermediate resonant structure of these three-body decays has been studied. From a Dalitz plot analysis we have obtained the product of the branching fractions for D^{*+}_2 and D^{*+}_0 production: B(bar{B}^0-> D^{*+}_2 pi^-) B(D_2^{*+}-> D^{0}\pi^+)= (2.15+-0.17(stat.)+-0.29(syst.)+-0.12(mod.))10^{-4}, and B(bar{B}^0-> D^{*+}_0 pi^-) B(D_0^{*+}-> D^{0} pi^+)= (0.60+-0.13(stat.)}+-0.15(syst.)+-0.22(mod.))10^{-4}. This is the first observation of the bar{B}^0-> D^{*+}_0 pi^- decay. The bar{B^0} -> D^0 rho^0 and D^0f_2 branching fractions are measured to be: B(bar{B}^0->D^0 rho^0)=(3.19+-0.20(stat.)+-0.24(syst.)+-0.38(mod.)) 10^{-4},and B(bar{B}^0-> D^0 f_2)=(1.20+-0.18(stat.)+-0.21(syst.)+-0.32(mod.)) 10^{-4}.

Abstract: We report measurements of the branching fraction and CP violation parameters in B(0)-->D+ D- decays. The results are based on a data sample that contains 535 x 10(6) BB pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance, with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We obtain [1.97+/-0.20(stat) +/- 0.20(syst)] x 10(-4) for the branching fraction of B0-->D+D-. The measured values of the CP violation parameters are S=-1.13+/-0.37+/-0.09, A=0.91+/-0.23+/-0.06, where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. We find evidence of CP violation in B0-->D+D- at the 4.1sigma confidence level. While the value of S is consistent with expectations from other measurements, the value of the parameter A favors large direct CP violation at the 3.2sigma confidence level, in contradiction to standard model expectations.

Abstract: Using 449 million BBbar pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e^+e^- collider, we observe clear signals for B^+-> \bar{K}^0 K^+ and B^0-> \bar{K}^0 K^0 decays with 5.3 sigma and 6.0 sigma significance, respectively. We measure the branching fractions Br(B^+-> \bar{K}^0 K^+ = (1.22^{+0.32+0.13}_{-0.28-0.16})x10^{-6} and Br(B^0-> \bar{K}^0 K^0) = (0.87^{+0.25}_{-0.20} +- 0.09)x10^{-6}, and partial-rate asymmetries A_{CP}(B^+-> \bar{K}^0 K^+) = 0.13^{+0.23}_{-0.24}+- 0.02 and A_{CP}(B^0-> \bar{K}^0 K^0) = -0.58^{+0.73}_{-0.66}+- 0.04. From a simultaneous fit we also obtain Br(B^+-> K^0��^+)= (22.8^{+0.8}_{-0.7} +- 1.3)x 10^{-6} and A_{CP}(B^+-> K^0 ��^+) = 0.03 +- 0.03 +- 0.01. The first and second error in the branching fractions and the partial-rate asymmetries are statistical and systematic, respectively. No signal is observed for B^0-> K^+ K^- decays, and for this branching fraction we set an upper limit of 4.1x10^{-7} at the 90% confidence level., 6 pages, 3 figures

Abstract: We study transitions between {upsilon} states with the emission of charged pions using 477 fb{sup -1} of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e{sup +}e{sup -} collider. The measured product branching fraction B({upsilon}(4S){yields}{upsilon}(1S){pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -})xB({upsilon}(1S){yields}{mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup -})= =(4.42{+-}0.81(stat){+-}0.56(sys))x10{sup -6}. When the PDG value for B({upsilon}(1S){yields}{mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup -}) is used, this corresponds to B({upsilon}(4S){yields}{upsilon}(1S){pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -})=(1.78{+-}0.33(stat){+-}0.23(sys) = )x10{sup -4} and a partial decay width {gamma}({upsilon}(4S){yields}{upsilon}(1S){pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -})=(3.65{+-}0.67(stat){+-}0.6 = 5(sys)) keV.

Abstract: We report the first observation of B(0)-->J/psieta decay. These results are obtained from a data sample that contains 449 x10(6) BB[over] pairs accumulated at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. We observe a signal with a significance of 8.1 sigma and obtain a branching fraction of (9.5+/-1.7(stat)+/-0.8(syst)) x 10(-6).

Abstract: We report a measurement of the inclusive electron energy spectrum for charmed semileptonic decays of B mesons in a 140fb-1 data sample collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e+e- collider. We determine the first four moments of the electron energy spectrum for threshold values of the electron energy between 0.4 and 2.0 GeV. In addition, we provide values of the partial branching fraction (zeroth moment) for the same electron threshold energies, and independent measurements of the B+ and B0 partial branching fractions at 0.4 GeV and 0.6 GeV electron threshold energies. We measure the independent B+ and B0 partial branching fractions with electron threshold energies of 0.4 GeV to be ΔB(B+→Xceν)=(10. 79±0.25(stat.)±0.27(sys.))% and ΔB(B0→Xceν)=(10. 08±0.30(stat.)±0.22(sys.))%. Abstract: The inclusive production of Ds, D0, and J/ψ mesons is studied using a 1.86fb-1 data sample collected on the Υ(5S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. The number of bb events in this Υ(5S) data sample is determined. We measure the branching fractions B(Υ(5S)→DsX)/2=(23.6±1.2±3.6)%, B(Υ(5S)→D0X)/2=(53.8±2.0±3.4)%, and B(Υ(5S)→J/ ψX)/2=(1.030±0.080±0.067)%. From the Ds and D0 inclusive branching fractions the ratio fs=(18.0±1.3±3.2)% of Bs(*)Bs(*) to the total bb quark pair production at the Υ(5S) energy is obtained in a model-dependent way. © 2007 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We study the three-body charmed baryonic decays B0→Σ c++pπ- and B0→Σc0pπ+ in the four-body final state B0→Λc+pπ+π-, using a data sample of 357fb-1 accumulated at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We measure the branching fractions B(B0→Σc(2455)++pπ-)=(2.1±0.2±0. 3±0.5)×10-4, B(B0→Σc(2455)0pπ+)=(1. 4±0.2±0.2±0.4)×10-4 and B(B0→Σ c(2520)++pπ-)=(1.2±0.1±0.2±0.3)×10-4 with signal significances of 13.1σ, 9.4σ and 7.1σ, respectively. The errors are statistical, systematic, and due to the uncertainty in B(Λc+→pK-π+), respectively. We also set an upper limit B(B0→Σc(2520)0pπ+)

Abstract: We report the first observation of the decay B+ -> \bar{\Xi}_c^0 \Lambda_c^+ with a significance of 8.7 \sigma and evidence for the decay B^0 -> \bar{\Xi}_c^-\Lambda_c^+ with a significance of 3.8 \sigma. The product Br(B^+ -> \bar{\Xi}_c^0\Lambda_c^+)\times Br(\bar{\Xi}_c^0 -> \bar{\Xi}^+\pi^-) is measured to be (4.8^{+1.0}_{-0.9}\pm 1.1\pm 1.2)\times 10^{-5}, and Br({B^0} -> \bar{\Xi}_c^-\Lambda_c^+)\times Br(\bar{\Xi}_c^- -> \bar{\Xi}^+\pi^-\pi^-) is measured to be (9.3^{+3.7}_{-2.8}\pm 1.9\pm 2.4)\times 10^{-5}. The errors are statistical, systematic and the error of the \Lambda_c^+ -> pK^-\pi^+ branching fraction, respectively. The decay B^+ -> \bar{\Xi}_c^0\Lambda_c^+ is the first example of a two-body exclusive B^+ decay into two charmed baryons. The data used for this analysis was accumulated at the \Upsilon(4S) resonance, using the Belle detector at the e^+ e^- asymmetric-energy collider KEKB. The integrated luminosity of the data sample is equal to 357 {fb}^{-1}, corresponding to 386\times 10^{6} B{\bar B} pairs.

Abstract: We present the first evidence of the decay B-→τ-ντ, using 414fb-1 of data collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. Events are tagged by fully reconstructing one of the B mesons in hadronic modes. We detect the signal with a significance of 3.5 standard deviations including systematics and measure the branching fraction to be B(B-→τ-ντ)=(1.79-0.49+0.56(stat) -0.51+0.46(syst))×10-4. This implies that fB=0.229-0.031+0.036(stat)-0. 037+0.034(syst)GeV and is the first direct measurement of this quantity. © 2006 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: Using a sample of 152×106 BB pairs accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider, we study the decay mechanism of three-body charmed decay B-→Λc+pπ-. The intermediate two-body decay B-→Σc(2455)0p is observed for the first time with a branching fraction of (3.7±0.7±0.4±1.0)×10-5 and a statistical significance of 8.4σ. We also observe a low-mass enhancement in the (Λc+p) system, which can be parametrized as a Breit-Wigner function with a mass of (3.35-0.02+0.01±0.02)GeV/c2 and a width of (0.07-0.03+0.04±0.04)GeV/c2. We measure its branching fraction to be (3.9-0.7+0.8±0.4±1.0)×10-5 with a statistical significance of 6.2σ. The errors are statistical, systematic, and that of the Λc+→pK-π+ decay branching fraction. © 2006 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We report the first measurements of the doubly charmed baryonic $B$ decays $B\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}^{+}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}K$. The ${B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}^{+}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}{K}^{+}$ decay is observed with a branching fraction of $({6.5}_{\ensuremath{-}0.9}^{+1.0}\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.1\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}3.4)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$ and a statistical significance of $15.4\ensuremath{\sigma}$. The ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}^{+}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{-}}{K}^{0}$ decay is observed with a branching fraction of $({7.9}_{\ensuremath{-}2.3}^{+2.9}\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}4.1)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$ and a statistical significance of $6.6\ensuremath{\sigma}$. The branching fraction errors are statistical, systematic, and the error resulting from the uncertainty of the ${\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}p{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$ decay branching fraction. The analysis is based on $357\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of data accumulated at the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider.

Abstract: We present improved measurements of the branching fractions of the color-suppressed decays B{sup 0}{yields}D{sup (*)0}h{sup 0}, where h{sup 0} represents a light neutral meson {pi}{sup 0}, {eta} or {omega}. The measurements are based on a data sample of 140 fb{sup -1} collected at the {upsilon}(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB energy-asymmetric e{sup +}e{sup -} collider, corresponding to 7 times the luminosity of the previous Belle measurements. All the measured branching fractions fall in the range 1.4-2.4x10{sup -4}, which is significantly higher than theoretical predictions based on naive factorization.

Abstract: We report the first observation of B{sup {+-}}{yields}{chi}{sub c1}{pi}{sup {+-}}, a Cabibbo- and color-suppressed decay in a data sample of 386x10{sup 6} BB events collected at the {upsilon}(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e{sup +}e{sup -} collider. We observe 55{+-}10 signal events with a statistical significance of 6.3{sigma} including systematic uncertainties. The measured branching fraction and charge-asymmetry is B(B{sup {+-}}{yields}{chi}{sub c1}{pi}{sup {+-}})=(2.2{+-}0.4{+-}0.3)x10{sup -5} and A{sub {pi}}=0.07{+-}0.18{+-}0.02, respectively. We also determine the ratio B(B{sup {+-}}{yields}{chi}{sub c1}{pi}{sup {+-}})/B(B{sup {+-}}{yields}{chi}{sub c1}K{sup {+-}})=(4.3{+-}0.8{+-}0.= 3)%.

Abstract: Using a 282 fb{sup -1} data sample collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB e{sup +}e{sup -} collider, we study D{sup 0} decays to K{sup -}l{sup +}{nu} and {pi}{sup -}l{sup +}{nu} final states. The D{sup 0} flavor and momentum are tagged through a full reconstruction of the recoiling charm meson and additional mesons from fragmentation. The reconstruction method provides very good resolution in neutrino momentum and in q{sup 2}=(p{sub l}+p{sub {nu}}){sup 2}. Normalizing to the total number of D{sup 0} tags, we measure the absolute branching fractions to be B(D{sup 0}{yields}Kl{nu})=(3.45{+-}0.07{sub stat}{+-}0.20{sub syst})% and B(D{sup 0}{yields}{pi}l{nu})=(0.255{+-}0.019{sub stat}{+-}0.016{sub syst})% and the semileptonic form factors (within the modified pole model) f{sub +}{sup K}(0)=0.695{+-}0.007{sub stat}{+-}0.022{sub syst} and f{sub +}{sup {pi}}(0)=0.624{+-}0.020{sub stat}{+-}0.030{sub syst}.

Abstract: We report the observation of the flavor-changing neutral current process b→dγ using a sample of 386×106 B meson pairs accumulated by the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider. We measure branching fractions for the exclusive modes B-→ρ-γ, B0→ρ0γ, and B0→ωγ. Assuming that these three modes are related by isospin, we find B(B→(ρ,ω)γ)=(1.32-0.31+0.34(stat)-0.09+0.10(syst)) ×10-6 with a significance of 5.1σ. This result is used to determine the ratio of Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix elements |Vtd/Vts| to be 0.199-0.025+0.026(exp)-0.015+0.018(theor). © 2006 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We have measured the branching fraction B, longitudinal polarization fraction fL, and CP asymmetry coefficients A and S for B0→ρ+ρ- decays with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider using 253fb-1 of data. We obtain B=[22.8±3.8(stat)-2.6+2.3(syst)]×10-6, fL=0.941-0.040+0.034(stat)±0.030(syst), A=0.00±0.30(stat) ±0.09(syst), and S=0.08±0.41(stat)±0.09(syst). These values are used to constrain the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa phase 2; the solution consistent with the standard model is 2=(88±17)° or 59°< 2

Abstract: We report on a measurement of the branching fractions for B- → D(*)+π- l -vl and B0 → D (*)0π+l-vl with 275 × 106 BB events collected at the γ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at KEKB. Events are tagged by fully reconstructing one of the B mesons in hadronic modes. We obtain B(B- → D+π- l-vl = (0.54±0.07(stat)±0.07(syst)±0.06(BR))× 10 -2, B(B- → D(*)+π- l-vl = (0.67 ±0.11(stat) ±0.09(syst) ±0.03(BR)) × 10-2, B(B0 → D0π+ l -vl) = (0.33 ±0.06(stat) ± 0.06(syst) ±0.03(BR)) × 10-2, B(B0 → D(*)0π+l -vl) = (0.65 ±0.12(stat) ± 0.08(syst) ±0.05(BR)) × 10-2, where the third error comes from the error on B → D(*)l -vl decays. Contributions from B0 → D(*)+l-vl decays are excluded in the measurement of B0 → D0π +l-vl. © 2005 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We present the results of a study of the charmless vector-vector decay B+ --> rho+ K*0, based on 253 fb(-1) of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ e- collider. We obtain the branching fraction B(B+ --> rho+ K*0) = [8.9 +/- 1.7(stat) +/- 1.2(syst)] x 10(-6). We also perform a helicity analysis of the rho and K* vector mesons, and obtain the longitudinal polarization fraction f(L)(B+ --> rho+ K*0) = 0.43 +/- 0.11(stat)(-0.02)(+0.05) (syst).

Abstract: We report the observation of B-→J/ψΛp and searches for B-→J/ψΣ0p and B0→J/ψpp decays, using a sample of 275×106 BB pairs collected with the Belle detector at the Υ(4S) resonance. We observe a signal of 17.2±4.1 events with a significance of 11.1σ and obtain a branching fraction of B(B-→J/ψΛp)=11.6±2.8(stat)-2.3+1.8(sys)×10-6. No signal is found for either of the two decay modes, B-→J/ ψΣ0p and B0→J/ψpp, and upper limits for the branching fractions are determined to be B(B-→J/ψΣ0p)

Abstract: We report measurements of B meson decays to two kaons using 250/fb of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e+ e- collider. We find evidence of signals in B+ -> K0(bar) K+ and B0 -> K0 K0(bar) with significances of 3.0 sigma and 3.5 sigma, respectively. The corresponding branching fractions are measured to be BF(B+ -> K0(bar) K+) = (1.0+-0.4+-0.1) x 10^-6 and Br(B0 -> K0 K0(bar)) = 0.8+-0.3+-0.1) x 10^-6. These decay modes are examples of hadronic b -> d transitions. Abstract: We report evidence for B{sup 0}{yields}D{sup +}D{sup -} and the first observation of the decay modes B{sup -}{yields}D{sup 0}D{sup -} and B{sup -}{yields}D{sup 0}D{sup *-} based on a sample of 152x10{sup 6} BB events collected by the Belle detector at KEKB. The branching fractions for B{sup 0}{yields}D{sup +}D{sup -}, B{sup -}{yields}D{sup 0}D{sup -}, and B{sup -}{yields}D{sup 0}D{sup *-} are found to be (1.91{+-}0.51{+-}0.30)x10{sup -4} (4.83{+-}0.78{+-}0.58)x10{sup -4}, and (4.57{+-}0.71{+-}0.56)x10{sup -4}, respectively. Charge asymmetries in the B{sup -}{yields}D{sup 0}D{sup -} and B{sup -}{yields}D{sup 0}D{sup *-} channels are consistent with zero.

Abstract: We report on the first observation of D10(2420)→D0π-π+ and D1+(2420)→D+π-π+ decays (where the contribution from the dominant known D1→D*π decay mode is excluded) in the B-→D10π- and B0→D1+π- decays, respectively. The observation is based on 15.2×107 BB events collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB collider. We also set 90% confidence level upper limits for the branching fractions of the four following decays: B-→D10π-, D10→D *0π-π+, B0→D1+π-, D1+→D*+π-π+, B-→D2*0(2460)π-, D2*0→D*0π-π+, B0→D2*+(2460)π-, D2*+→D*+π-π+. © 2005 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We report measurements of B to pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar decays with at least one {eta} meson in the final state using 140 fb{sup -1} of data collected by the Belle detector at KEKB e{sup +}e{sup -} collider. We observe the decay B{sup +}{yields}{eta}{pi}{sup +} and find evidence of B{sup +}{yields}{eta}K{sup +}; the measured branching fractions are B(B{sup +}{yields}{eta}{pi}{sup +})=(4.8{sub -0.7}{sup +0.8}(stat){+-}0.3(sys))x10{sup -6} and B(B{sup +}{yields}{eta}K{sup +})=(2.1{+-}0.6(stat){+-}0.2(sys))x10{sup -6}. Their corresponding CP violating asymmetries are measured to be 0.07{+-}0.15(stat){+-}0.03(sys) for {eta}{pi}{sup {+-}} and -0.49{+-}0.31(stat){+-}0.07(sys) for {eta}K{sup {+-}}. No significant signals are found for neutral B{yields}{eta}h decays. We report the following upper limits on branching fractions at the 90% confidence level: B(B{sup 0}{yields}{eta}K{sup 0})

Abstract: We report results on the Dalitz analysis of three-body charmless B+ -> K+ pi(+) pi(-) and B+-> K+ K+ K- decays based on a 140 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector. Measurements of branching fractions for quasi-two-body decays to scalar-pseudoscalar states: B+ -> f(0)(980)K+, B+ -> K-0(*)(1430)(0)pi(+), and to vector-pseudoscalar states: B+ -> K-*(892)(0)pi(+), B+ -> rho(0)K(+), B+ -> phi K+ are presented. Upper limits on decays to some pseudoscalar-tensor final states are reported. We also report the measurement of the B+ -> chi(c0)K(+) branching fraction in two chi(c0) decays channels: chi(c0) -> pi(+)pi(-) and chi(c0) -> K+K-.

Abstract: We report the observation of the decay B0-->pi(0)pi(0), using a 253 fb(-1) data sample collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e(+)e(-) collider. The measured branching fraction is B(B0-->pi(0)pi(0))=(2.3(+0.4+0.2)(-0.5-0.3))x10(-6), with a significance of 5.8 standard deviations including systematic uncertainties. We also make a measurement of the direct CP violating asymmetry in this mode.

Abstract: We report the observation of the radiative decay ${B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{1}(1270{)}^{+}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ using a data sample of $140\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ taken at the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. We find the branching fraction to be $\mathcal{B}\mathbf{(}{B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{1}(1270{)}^{+}\ensuremath{\gamma}\mathbf{)}=\mathbf{(}4.3\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.9(\mathrm{stat}.)\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.9(\mathrm{syst}.)\mathbf{)}\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ with a significance of $7.3\ensuremath{\sigma}$. We find no significant signal for ${B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{1}(1400{)}^{+}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ and set an upper limit $\mathcal{B}\mathbf{(}{B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{1}(1400{)}^{+}\ensuremath{\gamma}\mathbf{)}l1.5\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ at the 90% confidence level. We also measure inclusive branching fractions for ${B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ and ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ in the mass range $1\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}l{M}_{{K}^{+(0)}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}}l2\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}$.

Abstract: We report the first observation of the charmless hyperonic B decay, B+-->LambdaLambdaK+, using a 140 fb(-1) data sample recorded at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB (e+)(e-) collider. The measured branching fraction is B(B+-->LambdaLambdaK+) = (2.91(+0.90)(-0.70) +/- 0.38) x 10(-6). We also perform a search for the related decay mode B+-->LambdaLambdapi+, but do not find a significant signal. We set a 90% confidence-level upper limit of B(B+-->LambdaLambdapi+) < 2.8 x 10(-6).

Abstract: We have searched for the decay ${B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\omega}{l}^{+}\ensuremath{\nu}$ ($l=e$ or $\ensuremath{\mu}$) in $78\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{f}\mathrm{b}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ data ($85\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$$B\overline{B}$ events) accumulated with the Belle detector. The final state is fully reconstructed using the $\ensuremath{\omega}$ decay into ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, combined with detector hermeticity to estimate the neutrino momentum. A signal of $414\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}125$ events is found in the data, corresponding to a branching fraction of $(1.3\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.4\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.3)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, where the first two errors are statistical and systematic, respectively. The third error reflects the estimated form-factor uncertainty.

Abstract: We present the first evidence of the decay B0 --> rho0 pi0, using 140fb^-1 of data collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric e+e- collider. We detect a signal with a significance of 3.5 standard deviations, and measure the branching fraction to be Br(B0 ->- rho0 pi0) = (5.1 +/- 1.6(stat) +/- 0.9(syst))*10^-6.

Abstract: We have searched for the lepton flavor violating decay tau(-)-->micro(-)eta using a data sample of 84.3 fb(-1) accumulated with the Belle detector at KEK. The eta meson was detected through the decay modes: eta-->gammagamma and pi(+)pi(-)pi(0). No signal candidates are found, and we obtain an upper limit for the branching fraction B(tau(-)-->micro(-)eta)

Abstract: The observation of the decay B+→ψ(3770)K+, where the ψ(3770) was constructed in the D0D0 and D+D- decay channels, was reported. The branching fraction for the decay was measured and a 90% confidence level upper limit was set for the decay. Data was collected at the Y(4S) resonance by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. Candidate π0 mesons were identified as pairs of non-charged-track-associated electromagnetic calorimeter clusters.
