Low-speed internet can negatively impact incident response by causing delayed detection, ineffective response, poor collaboration, inaccurate analysis, and increased risk. Slow internet speeds can delay the receipt and analysis of data, making it difficult for security teams to access the relevant information and take action, leading to a fragmented and inadequate response. All of these factors can increase the risk of data breaches and other security incidents and their impact on IoT-enabled communication. This study combines virtual network function (VNF) technology with software -defined networking (SDN) called virtual network function software-defined networking (VNFSDN). The adoption of the VNFSDN approach has the potential to enhance network security and efficiency while reducing the risk of cyberattacks. This approach supports IoT devices that can analyze large volumes of data in real time. The proposed VNFSDN can dynamically adapt to changing security requirements and network conditions for IoT devices. VNFSDN uses threat filtration and threat-capturing and decision-driven algorithms to minimize cyber risks for IoT devices and enhance network performance. Additionally, the integrity of IoT devices is safeguarded by addressing the three risk categories of data manipulation, insertion, and deletion. Furthermore, the prioritized delegated proof of stake (PDPoS) consensus variant is integrated with VNFSDN to combat attacks. This variant addresses the scalability issue of blockchain technology by providing a safe and adaptable environment for IoT devices that can quickly be scaled up and down to pull together the changing demands of the organization, allowing IoT devices to efficiently utilize resources. The PDPoS variant provides flexibility to IoT devices to proactively respond to potential security threats, preventing or mitigating the impact of cyberattacks. The proposed VNFSDN dynamically adapts to the changing security requirements and network conditions, improving network resiliency and enabling proactive threat detection. Finally, we compare the proposed VNFSDN to existing state-of-the-art approaches. According to the results, the proposed VNFSDN has a 0.08 ms minimum response time, a 2% packet loss rate, 99.5% network availability, a 99.36% threat detection rate, and a 99.77% detection accuracy with 1% malicious nodes. Modern information technology (IT) is well developed, and almost everyone uses the features of IT and services within the Internet. However, people are being affected due to cybersecurity threats. People can adhere to the recommended cybersecurity guidelines, rules, adopted standards, and cybercrime preventive measures to largely mitigate these threats. The ignorance of or lack of cybersecurity knowledge also causes a critical problem regarding confidentiality and privacy. It is not possible to fully avoid cybercrimes that often lead to sufficient business losses and spread forbidden themes (disgust, extremism, child porn, etc.). Therefore, to reduce the risk of cybercrimes, a web-based Blockchain-enabled cybersecurity awareness program (WBCA) process is introduced in this paper. The proposed WBCA trains users to improve their security skills. The proposed program helps with understanding the common behaviors of cybercriminals and improves user knowledge of cybersecurity hygiene, best cybersecurity practices, modern cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and trends. Furthermore, the proposed WBCA uses Blockchain technology to protect the program from potential threats. The proposed program is validated and tested using real-world cybersecurity topics with real users and cybersecurity experts. We anticipate that the proposed program can be extended to other domains, such as national or corporate courses, to increase the cybersecurity awareness level of users. A CentOS-based virtual private server is deployed for testing the proposed WBCA to determine its effectiveness. Internet of Vehicles (IoVs) consists of smart vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) as well as roadside units (RSUs) that communicate wirelessly to provide enhanced transportation services such as improved traffic efficiency and reduced traffic congestion and accidents. Unfortunately, current IoV networks suffer from security, privacy, and trust issues. Blockchain technology emerged as a decentralized approach for enhanced security without depending on trusted third parties to run services. Blockchain offers the benefits of trustworthiness and immutability and mitigates the problem of a single point of failure and other attacks. In this work, we present the state-of-the-art Blockchain-enabled IoVs (BIoVs) with a particular focus on their applications, such as crowdsourcing-based applications, energy trading, traffic congestion reduction, collision, accident avoidance, infotainment, and content caching. We also present in-depth applications of federated learning (FL) for BIoVs. The key challenges of integrating Blockchain with IoV are investigated in several domains, such as edge computing, machine learning, and Federated Learning (FL). Lastly, we present several open issues, challenges, and future opportunities in AI-enabled BIoV, hardware-assisted security for BIoV, and quantum computing attacks on BIoV applications. The rapid development of the emerging Internet of things (IoT) regime and of smart applications has given rise to many new wireless security vulnerabilities in consumer electronic environment networks, which compromises the integrity of the whole environment. Attacks often encompass the abuse of vulnerable wireless IoT consumer electronics devices, compromise information security, and leak sensitive and private data. This paper proposes a decentralized blockchain-enabled framework network infrastructure to improve wireless security and mitigate new wireless attacks on connected consumer electronics as a proof of concept. The system model of the proposed framework was verified mathematically and was then implemented and tested in case studies. The experimental results show that the proposed decentralized blockchain technology-featured air-cracking tool (BTFAT) provides a robust detection of vulnerabilities in the security of wireless-based IoT consumer electronics, i.e., 97% in terms of the effectiveness of packet chapters and 85% in terms of the maximum capture packet reliability, compared with the state of the art. Currently, life cannot be imagined without the use of bank cards for purchases or money transfers; however, their use provides new opportunities for money launderers and terrorist organizations. This paper proposes a blockchain-enabled transaction scanning (BTS) method for the detection of anomalous actions. The BTS method specifies the rules for outlier detection and rapid movements of funds, which restrict anomalous actions in transactions. The specified rules determine the specific patterns of malicious activities in the transactions. Furthermore, the rules of the BTS method scan the transaction history and provide a list of entities that receive money suspiciously. Finally, the blockchain-enabled process is used to restrict money laundering. To validate the performance of the proposed BTS method, a Spring Boot application is built based on the Java programming language. Based on experimental results, the proposed BTS method automates the process of investigating transactions and restricts money laundering incidents. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
