Introduction: Stones of the bladder are one of the oldest illness that we know. History of its treatment has been cause of discussion in different moments. The percutaneuos surgery and EWSL are a safe approach for the management of bladder calculi, because avoid the urethral injuries. Material and method: We report a study of 21 patient divided in 2 groups, treated by 2 different techniques for percutaneous cystolithotripsy the A group with Amplatz and B group with laparoscopic trocar. Results: Characteristics of both groups were similar, only in surgery time were different, the laparoscopic trocar group were shorter. Conclusion: Percutaneous suprapubic cystolithotripsy with laparoscopic trocar are safe, quick, and effective with low morbidity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
