This study aims to analyze India's publications on organic chemistry and related fields at the micro, meso, and macro levels. The study attempts to map and visualize the publications in organic chemistry from 2016 to 2020 to identify the country co-authorship, author co-authorship, bibliographic coupling of authors, keyword co-occurrence, etc. Performance analysis techniques incorporating publication-related metrics, citation-related metrics, and citation and publication-related metrics (number of cited publications, citations per publication, h-index) were utilized to analyze the publications. Further, science mapping techniques are used to investigate citation analysis, bibliographic coupling, and co-authorship analysis. Moreover, enriched bibliometric techniques meant for computational evaluation like network analysis, including cluster analysis and visualization, were used in later phases using the software VOSviewer and Biblioshiny. VOSviewer, a bibliometric mapping tool, is extensively used in scientometric studies. For analysis of performance and visualization of research hotspots in Organic Chemistry, Biblioshiny web interface through R-studio is used, which is performing intensive data mining. A total of 1804 journals are encountered in the period taken for study which obeys a non-exponential growth with the highest number of papers (370) in the year 2017 and the least (344) in the year 2020 and as per the forecasting, the highest number of publications are expected in the year 2021 (349). Analysis of prolific authors reveals that A Kumar is the most productive author in the period with 47 publications and an h-index of 12 and KR Prabhu of IISc. Bangalore is the most impactful author with 387 citations and 27.64 CPP. Journal of Organic Chemistry is the most productive journal. Trending topics of research like azo dyes and metal-organic frameworks indicate the industrial and commercial importance of organic compounds. Gender disparity and gender imbalance are globally pervasive in academia. Research into gender disparity characterizing gender differences uses metrics such as publication rates, author contributions, citation rates and research impact. Previous studies are contradictory in their findings and are limited in scope. As such, the current study examines the research contribution of both men and women in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. A Scopus search was used to identify all articles published over a 20-year period (1999-2018). For each article in the final sample of 2,881 publications, the gender the first author was identified. Both the number and the growth rate of publications by women were lower than those by men. Conversely, the growth in citation rate was higher for women in 2009 and 2016. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the Journal of Library Herald for the period of 10 years (2008-2017). The total number of published articles during the period of study was 222 articles in a particular journal. The aim of this paper was to analysis the authorship pattern, geographical distribution, prolific author, reference distributions, and authorship pattern of reference. And found out that 97 (43.68%) articles were contributed by single authors, followed by two authors 87 (39.18%). Dr K P Singh was a most productive author with a maximum number of articles contributed 11, constituting (31.43%), followed by B K Sen has contributed by 6, constituting (17.14%) in the period of study. The present study is aimed toward examining the attention received by research papers through social and electronic media in business research. In recent years, altmetrics has emerged as a complementary measure of the impact of research works besides citation analysis and bibliometrics. Using the altmetric attention score (AAS) the paper is the first research of its kind to shed light on the characteristics of 100 papers receiving the highest online attention. Various predictors of online engagement with articles in business research journals having an impact factor greater than 6 are discussed. Data was collected from the Dimensions.ai database and analyzed using R statistical software. It is found that the Journal of Business Ethics contributed maximum papers with the highest AAS followed by the Journal of Business Research. Using the Kruskal-Wallis rank-sum test it was determined that AAS in business research is dependent upon article type, topics, and journal of publication. The paper aims at examining the global trends in digital library research based on data extracted from the Scopus database at the global, national, institutional and individual levels. Using performance indicators like total citations, the number of publications, h-index, total link strength the study aims to evaluate the prolific authors, organizations, countries, chronological growth of literature, document forms, most prolific journals, application of Lotkas's law to evaluate the author productivity and analysis of keywords to know the trending topics of research in Digital Libraries. The study uses VOSviewer to prepare the network map of organizational and country co-authorship analysis with clustering technique and MS-Excel for graphical and statistical analysis. The core findings are like the most productive year is 2019 and the number of publications increased rapidly from the starting year of data collection 2016. The results reveal that the USA is the most productive country in terms of the number of publications and impact with the University of Illinois the first rank in the list of prolific institutions. The study examines 1220 digital library research papers published by BRICS countries during the period 2000 to 2019. Bibliographic data on the research papers were collected from Web of Science database. It is found that maximum number of publications (225) were two-authored. The Degree of collaboration is 0.84, collaborative index is 4.14, the collaboration co-efficient is 0.59 and the modified collaboration co-efficient is 0.61. Among all the BRICS countries, China has contributed the most number of papers [690 (56.58%)] followed by India with 205 (16.80%) contributions. Lotka's law was not found to fit with the observed author's productivity of the study. The study concludes that there is increased research on digital library in BRICS countries. This article deals with the mapping of publication pattern of the Journal of Knowledge and Communication Management from the marked period (2011-2017) on the basis of various bibliometric patterns in which total 92 articles were published. This research articles analyse the authorship pattern, distribution of articles, most prolific contributors, authors productivity, the degree of collaboration, and found that the highest number of research results is 47, constituting (51.08%) contributed by two authors, followed by single author with 33, (35.86%) articles. India occupied first place with 91, constituting (90.09%) contributions. K.M. Shibu was the most prolific author with 5, constituting (17.85%) publications. The study analyzed the research articles published in Chinese Librarianship: an International Electronic Journal (CLIEJ) for a period of 20 years (1997-2016) and discussed on issues such as authorship patterns, reference patterns, geographical distribution, most productive countries, type of institutions, length of articles, and degree of author collaboration. The data were collected from the CLIEJ website and analyzed for interpretation. The findings revealed that collaborative articles were more than single-authored. USA contributed the highest number of publications, followed by Nigeria and India. Academic institutions are the most visible contributors. A total of 2,524 references were retrieved from 143 articles with an average of 17.65 references per article. Researchers cited singleauthored references more than collaborative authors. The present study investigates the articles published in in two leading journals of LIS field i.e., SRELS Journal of Information Management and DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology (DJLIT) which examines the volume wise, issue wise pattern of distribution of articles, authorship pattern of articles, geographical distribution, major contributions& contributors, state wise distribution of articles, reference distribution and its authorship pattern. The study reveals that SRELS (306) journal has more publications than DJLIT (286) during the marked period.SRELS has maximum number of joint authored (67.32%) publications than DJLIT (66.08 %) during the period of study. SRELS has got more contributions from India (92.24%) than DJLT (89.50%). DJLIT has got more numbers of outside countries (19) than SRELS (14). New Delhi with 61 (19.86%) contributionsemerged at top position in DJLIT while in SRELS, Karnataka emerged at top with 87 (26.16%) contributions.DJLIT has more foreign countries than in SRELS. B.M Gupta has contributed highest numbers of articles in both the journals during the period of study. This paper presents a bibliometric study of the DESIDOC Journal of Library & Information Technology (DJLIT) for the period of 12 years (2005-2016) in which 553 articles were published. The present study examines the various bibliometric parameters such as authorship pattern of articles & references, geographical distribution, major contributions from prolific author, state wise contribution of articles and number of references. The study reveals that India contributed highest publications with 88.95%.The Authorship Pattern of Articles for the study period was contributed maximum by two authors with 41.41%, followed by Single author with 36.88%and three authors with 15.18%. B.M. Gupta from India contributed the highest number of articles with17.98%, followed by Chennupati K. Ramaiah (9.35%) and S.M. Dhawan (7.19%). New Delhi (23.44%) emerged at top most position with maximum number of contributions, which is followed by Karnataka(12.75%) and Maharashtra(10.86%).More than 63.11% articles published in the DJLIT were on coauthorship pattern.
