Purpose: Alcohol is implicated in epileptogenesis and seizures attack. An increasing number of studies about alcohol and epilepsy have been published. We aimed to assess research trends and hot spots in the field of alcohol and epilepsy. Patients and Methods: Literature concerning alcohol and epilepsy was systemically searched through the Web of Science database. Collaborative maps were quantitatively analyzed by using the VOSviewer and CiteSpace tools. Results: A total of 1578 papers about the field of alcohol and epilepsy were taken into analysis, which was written by 6840 authors from 2153 institutions in 85 countries, published in 676 journals, and cited 79 667 references from 10 750 journals. The United States was the leading country and had close ties with others. The University of Toronto was the most productive institution. Alcoholism‐clinical and experimental research was the fastest‐growing journal. Richard J. Bodnar was the author contributing the most literature. Analysis of keywords showed epilepsy, alcohol, seizures, alcohol withdrawal, and management were common themes. Conclusion: The presented study conducted the first bibliometric analysis of the field of alcohol and epilepsy, which will provide insights into the latest progress, evolution paths, frontier research hot spots, and future research trends in the field. Granger causality provides a framework that uses predictability to identify causation between time series variables. This is important to policymakers for effective policy management and recommendations. Granger causality is recognized as the primary advance on the causation problem. The objective of this paper is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of Granger causality publications indexed in the Web of Science database. Harzing's Publish or Perish and VOSviewer were used for performance analysis and science mapping. The first paper indexed was published in 1981 and there has been an upward trend in the annual publication of Granger causality studies which are shifting towards the areas of environmental science, energy, and economics. Most of the publications are articles and proceeding papers under the areas of business economics, environmental science ecology, and neurosciences/neurology. China has the highest number of publications while the United States has the highest number of citations. England has the highest citation impact. This paper also constructed country co-authorship, co-analysis of cited references, cited sources, and cited authors, keyword co-occurrence, and keyword overlay visualization maps. Coporate volutering has been highlighted in academic and practional business literature. This article prepared a bibliometric analysis related to corporate volunteering in the Web of Science database. Articles from the beginning of the database until 2019 were analyzed and the VOSviewer software was used to determine the areas of emphasis for researchers, the language of publication of this research, the trend in the number of publications from year to year, the most relevant journals for publication and the most cited authors. The study revealed that 97.08% of the articles are in English, with 29.7% being produced in the United States. The research provides guidance for those who wish to produce research on organizational performance, pointing to the most prominent researchers and resources on the subject. To reveal the trends in the scientific analysis of mural paintings, 845 relevant research articles published from 2011 to 2021 were collected from the Web of Science database and analyzed. The VOSviewer software was adopted to map the network data of scientific publications, so that relationships among authors, countries, institutions can be displayed, and the co-occurrence of keywords and co-citation can be analyzed. The results revealed close and strong interconnections between the top authors, suggesting a considerable strong research link in this field. The cooperation between research institutions was relatively close. The most productive country of relevant publications was Italy. The leading journals for the scientific analysis of wall paintings were Journal of Raman Spectroscopy and Journal of Cultural Heritage. At present, the hotspots of scientific analysis and research on wall painting are revealing the composition, distribution, origin, and deterioration mechanism of pigments, alongside with evaluating the effects and mechanism of conservation materials and techniques. On the one hand, a possible development direction in this field is introducing more cutting-edge analysis and data processing methods. In recent years, knowledge management (KM) has consistently attained considerably growing research attention. Consequently, several literature reviews have been performed addressing different topic areas of KM. This paper seeks to present a comprehensive bibliometric and network analysis on KM to understand its development from the perspective of academic communities. Subsequently, it seeks to identify the structure of associations between prior and current themes, predict emerging trends and offer a longitudinal perspective on KM research. This study used web of science database and the initial sample was trimmed down by considering only the articles contributing to KM literature, and further 8,721 KM papers published in the last 30 years were systematically evaluated. The descriptive statistics and science mapping methods employing co-citation analysis were performed with VOSviewer software. In the descriptive analysis, we have analysed publication trends over time, geographical localization of the contributing institutions, journals, most prolific authors, top-performing institutions and most cited articles. Science mapping analysis is based on co-word analysis and co-citations analysis, namely articles' co-citations and authors' co-citations. The main findings of this paper will help researchers and academicians to develop knowledge in a specific sub-field by analysing the research outcomes of the papers included in the body of literature. Summary: Phenolic compounds (PCs) have been finding increasing applications in functional foods, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and nutraceuticals due to their nutritional and antioxidant properties. Considering the drawbacks of conventional extraction methods, there is an ongoing challenge for researchers to develop green extractions (GE) of PCs in a sustainable and eco‐friendly way. A bibliometric study is a valuable tool to provide quantitative information for evaluating the scientific research activity based on the available published scientific literature. This bibliometric study aims for the first time to unravel the scientific exploration towards the GE of phenolics from plant by‐products, that is, leaves by focussing on scientific publications collected through the Web of Science database. Consequently, insights into the evaluation of publication trends, authors, countries, organisations, keywords, journals, publishers and citations in support of GE were established. The critical evaluation of the results showed an increase in research, during the last decade, on GE of PCs from leaves. The study also revealed Europe as the leader in terms of publications, citations, countries, organisations, as well as authors contributing to this research topic. Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) belongs to the malvaceas family and is grown in all regions of Brazil. According to data from the Brazilian Association of Cotton Producers, Brazil occupies 4th place in the ranking of cotton production according to the 18/19 harvest. Because of this importance, this review aimed to carry out a bibliometric survey on cotton oil and flour and their applications. For this, a bibliometric analysis was carried out relating cotton, oil and flour in the Scopus and Web of Science databases in the years 1989-2019, and subsequently, the Web of Science data were analyzed using the VOSviewer program. The results showed that there were a total of 1525 research and reviews articles in the Scopus and Web of Science databases in the last three decades, and, based on the entire analysis, it was noticed that the studies of the last three decades are focused on separation area and biofuels, as well as that the Republic of China stands out among the most cited countries besides its universities. According to these results, it can be concluded that the Republic of China has a lot of influence in studies with cotton and more research is needed to use cotton and its derivatives in the food industry. [Objectives] This study was conducted to understand the current status of duck related research. [Methods] CiteSpace knowledge graph analysis tool, VOSviewer visual analysis software and HistCite citation graph analysis tool were used to analyze the number of publications and subject distribution of duck-related research fields in the Web of Science core collection database. The main countries(regions) and institutions, the main academic journals, the main research scholars, the main research hotspots and their changing trends were used for quantitative analysis. [Results](1) Duck-related research is receiving more and more attention, which further supports ducks’ important significance in the livestock and poultry industry.(2) Countries such as China, the United States, Canada, and France had published more articles in this field, and there was close cooperation between countries.(3) The top two journals with local citations in the duck-related research fields were PLOS ONE and JOURNAL OF VIROLOGY, and the journal with the highest impact factor in 2019 was JOURNAL OF VIROLOGY.(4) High-yield scholars in duck related research fields included Cheng Anchun, Wang Mingshu, Jia Renyong, etc.(5) Infection was a research hotspot in duck-related research. Typical pathogenic microorganisms included Newcastle disease, Avian influenza, and campylobacter.(6) The future trend of duck-related research mainly focuses on breeds, living environment, diseases, and molecular mechanisms. The development of remote sensing platforms and sensors and improvement in science and technology provide crucial support for the monitoring and management of protected areas. This paper presents an analysis of research publications, from a bibliometric perspective, on the remote sensing of protected areas. This analysis is focused on the period from 1991 to 2018. For data, a total of 4546 academic publications were retrieved from the Web of Science database. The VOSviewer software was adopted to evaluate the co-authorships among countries and institutions, as well as the co-occurrences of author keywords. The results indicate an increasing trend of annual publications in the remote sensing of protected areas. This analysis reveals the major topical subjects, leading countries, and most influential institutions around the world that have conducted relevant research in scientific publications; this study also reveals the journals that include the most publications, and the collaborative patterns related to the remote sensing of protected areas. Landsat, MODIS, and LiDAR are among the most commonly used satellites and sensors. Research topics related to protected area monitoring are mainly concentrated on change detection, biodiversity conservation, and climate change impact.
