The paper deals with the publication pattern of faculty members of Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT), Islampur, (Maharashtra), India based on the research output as reflected in the Scopus database during the period from 2010 to 2020. The study examined research performance based on their publication output, using different bibliometric indicators, such as the growth of publications, authorship pattern, collaborative index, highly productive author and journal, citation pattern etc. Bibliometric techniques were applied to a total number of 402 publications for eleven years. The extracted bibliographical and citation data was analysed and evaluated using MS Excel and Bibexcel applications and the visualisation was done using VOSviewer software. Major findings of the study revealed that the number of research publications and citations at the RIT has increased over the last eleven years. Most 246 (61.19%) of the publications were published in the form of conference papers, Dr. Thorat A.R. is the most productive author having 24 publications, and 'The Journal of Engineering Education Transformations' is a prominent journal for research publication at the RIT. Bibliometric analysis of research papers, articles, etc., has gained increasing importance in Library and Information Science to analyze the publication patterns, authorship patterns, and citation patterns of research papers published within a defined period. Bibliometric analysis is essential for library professionals in the collection development process. This paper intends to analyze the articles published in the journal 'Library Herald' from 2017 to 2021 with the help of different statistical tools and techniques. The results indicate most of the contributions by two authors and one article by six authors and the overall degree of collaboration among authors is 0.62. The study highlights the volume-wise distribution of articles, authorship pattern, Degree of collaboration, keyword use pattern, length of articles, and geographical distribution of authors. The paper presents a bibliometric study of the Journal of Chemical Sciences for the period of 10 years (1987-1996) in which articles were published. The study focuses on necessary bibliometric analysis forms, authorship pattern analysis, year wise distribution of articles, issue wise distribution of articles, subject wise distribution analysis. The study revealed that that the maximum number of articles were published in the year 1993 (127) and minimum in the year 1994 (21) articles. The authorship pattern of the articles published during the period of study was contributed maximum by two authors 265 (27.20%), followed by three authors with 253 (25.98%) articles, five and more authors contributed 184 (18.89 %) articles, four authors with 177 (18.18%) and single author with 9.75% of the total articles. Out of 717 articles in the Journal of Chemical Sciences joint authors contributed 599 (83.54%) articles while the rest 118 (16.46%) articles were contributed by single author. This paper presents a scientometric analysis of the journal titled Authorship and Collaboration Pattern of Annals of Library and Information Studies Journal during 2009-2018: Scientometrics Mapping. The analysis focused on the distribution pattern of articles, author's productivity, collaboration pattern and Collaborative coefficient and citation impact over time. It showed that the highest 12.57% of articles were published in the year 2010. The majority of articles are double authored with 47.03% of the total contribution. The degree of collaboration among the authors was found 0.66, which means collaborated papers are increasing. Artikel ini mengkaji tentang distribusi dan pola kepengarangan artikel pada Majalah Biologi Biosfera periode 2010-2017. Kajian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi artikel berdasarkan tahun; distribusi artikel berdasarkan nomor terbitan; pola kolaborasi dan tingkat kolaborasi; panjang artikel yang diterbitkan; rerata penulis per artikel dan distribusi sitiran. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap Majalah Ilmiah Biologi Biosfera : A Scientific Journal yang terbit dari tahun 2010-2017. Data tiap artikel dalam Majalah Ilmiah Biologi Biosfera dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data yang diunduh dianalisis kemudian dikelompokkan ke dalam kategori: kontribusi pengarang (jumlah artikel) yang dimuat; distribusi artikel dalam setiap nomor; jumlah pengarang tunggal dan ganda; panjang artikel (jumlah halaman) ; dan jumlah sitasi dalam periode tertentu. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah menggunakan Microsoft exel 2010 untuk memudahkan pendistribusian data dan tampilan dalam format grafik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi artikel pada Majalah Biologi Biosfera selama 2010-2017 adalah sebanyak 164 artikel dengan jumlah artikel tertinggi ada pada tahun 2015 yang memuat 24 artikel (14,63%) dan yang terendah ada pada tahun 2014 yaitu sebanyak 15 artikel (9,16%). Pola kepengarangan selama tahun 2010-2017 menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi lebih dari satu penulis memiliki jumlah yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan satu penulis dengan tingkat kolaborasi sebesar 0,84. Artikel terbanyak berada pada jumlah halaman 6-10 yaitu 135 judul (83,85%) dan paling kecil adalah artikel dengan jumlah halaman 11 – 16 yaitu 9 judul (5,59%). Artikel yang paling banyak disitir berada pada tahun 2017 yaitu sebanyak 11 sitiran ( 33,33%) dan pada tahun 2015 tidak ada artikel yang disitir. The study was conducted with the aim to know the distribution of articles by year; distribution of articles by issue number; collaboration pattern and level of collaboration; length of published articles; average writer per article and citation distribution This research was conducted on Biosphere Scientific Biology Magazine: A Scientific Journal published from 2010-2017. The downloaded data are analyzed and then grouped into categories: the author's contribution (number of articles) loaded; distribution of articles in each number; number of single and double authors; article length (number of pages); and number of cites within a certain period. Data obtained then processed using Microsoft exel 2010 to facilitate the distribution of data and display in graphics format. The results of the study show that the distribution of articles in Biosphere Biology Magazine during 2010-2017 is as many as 164 articles with the highest number of articles available in 2015 containing 24 articles (14.63%) and the lowest one in 2014 as many as 15 articles (9, 16%). The authorship pattern during 2010-2017 shows that the frequency of more than one author has a larger number compared to one author with a collaboration rate of 0.84. Most articles areon the number of pages 6-10, 135 titles (83.85%) and the smallest is the article with the number of pages 11 to 16 ie 9 titles (5.59%). The most cited articles are in the year 2017 as many as 11 citations (33.33%) and by 2015 no articles are cited.

This paper presents a scientometric analysis of the journal titled College and Research Libraries for the period between 2009 to 2018. The analysis focused on the distribution pattern of articles, the author's productivity, collaboration pattern and Collaborative coefficient, Relative Growth rate and doubling time. It showed that the highest 14.47% of articles were published in the year 2015. The majority of articles are singled authored with 35.02% of the total contribution. The degree of collaboration among the authors was found decent, the average growth rate was in an upward direction from beginning to latest years. This study analysis ‘Publication output of Poultry industry’ in the Scopus database during the period 2008 to 2017. The analysis revealed that the total4248 documents indexed in the database during the selectedperiod of study. The highest productive year is 2017 with 610 publications (14.36%) and the lowest is 2008 with 268 publications (6.31%). 77.87% of publications are scholarly articles. The most prolific author is S.C. Ricke. With 25(0.59%) papers followed by K. Dhama with 22 (0.52 %/) papers. The most productive country is the UnitedStateswith1071 publications. The famous Journal in this field is ‘Poultry science’ with 255 publications (6%) and the journals ‘World S Poultry Science Journal’ with 115 publications (2.71%) and ‘Avian Diseases’ with 113 publications (2.66%) occupies the second and third ranks respectively. From the institutional output, the United States Department of Agriculture, Washington DC dominates the other institutions with the output of 138 articles (3.25%). The poultry industry is a multidisciplinary subject and it includes articles with different areas and the main subject areas are found to be Agricultural and Biological Sciences having 2168 documents followed by Immunology and Microbiology with 988 documents. The purpose of the current study is to identify the authorship pattern of the publications in the field of rain water harvesting management during the period 2008 to 2017.The study was conducted based on the bibliographic data collected from the web of science database during the period 2008 to 2017. ‘Rainwater Harvesting’ and ‘Rainwater Harvesting Management’ are the search terms researcher used to collect the data for the study. A total of 1070 records retrieved, and it is identified that a total of 3994 authors has contributed to the research in this field during the period of study. Study output shows a clear dominance of increase of the trend towards collaborative research. Author productivity was higher from 2008 to 2010. The year 2009 got a maximum number of Global Citation Score with the value 1894. The highest Local Citation Score got in the year 2010 with a value of 662; Villarreal EL is the highly cited reference during the period of study; the study period average author per publication is (AAPP) is 3.61; the average productivity per author (PPA) is 0.28. A bibliometric analysis of the research papers explores different aspects of the contribution from an individual author to the country as a whole. The growth of publications, authorship patterns, paper lengths, referencing trends, prolific contribution of authors, etc. about a particular journal are includes in bibliometric studies. Keeping in mind the Indian contribution to a peer review e-journal namely Library Philosophy and Practice (e-Journal) this study began. Meanwhile, it is observed that already work has done on several related aspect. Further, it is also found that the same study has already conducted by Anwar, (2018), exploring the Pakistani contribution to the same journals from 2008-2017. Finally, the present study has designed to explore and compare the contribution of Indian and Pakistani authors to Library Philosophy and Practice (LPP) for a period of ten years from 2008-17. The India and Pakistan are two significant countries in South-East Asia those shares historical, political, and economic background together. This study is based on the bibliometric analysis on LPP covered a period from 2008-2017 in which 432 articles (86 articles from Pakistani & 346 articles from Indian authors) were published during the marked period. Study examines the various bibliometric parameters such as authorship pattern, geographical distribution, major authors, and length of articles. Study finds that 41.8% (181) articles were contributed by two authors. Further, the study found that 11-15 pages of articles published in majority by the authors in both countries. The study focused on multimedia instructional resources for effective user education programme in universities in North-Central, Nigeria. The objective of the study was to examine whether multimedia instructional resources are effectively utilized in user education programme in universities in North-Central region of Nigeria. The area of the study covered selected universities in North-Central, Nigeria which include: University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State and Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue State. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for this study. The total population of the study was 7,103 registered freshmen for the "Use of Library" course. A stratified random sampling technique was used to select a sample size of 213 students. Instrument for data collection was questionnaire. 213 questionnaires were distributed to the first year students registered for the "Use of Library" (user education programme) and 196 were returned and used for the study. The study used frequency counts and simple percentages as statistical measures for data analysis. Result showed that multimedia instructional resources are used in user education programme to a low extent. It was also revealed that multimedia instructional resources enhance user education to a very great extent. Author analysed the characteristics of articles published by the Indian based authors in the 'Information Science & Library Science' subject category of Web of Science during 1991-2015. In this study, total 708 articles derived from the Web of Science database were analysed. The Indian contributions to the Information Science and Library Science quite meager in compare to world's contribution. However, the Indian based articles were kept rising from 1991 to 2015. The articles published from1996 to 2005 have greater impact and the trend is towards multiple authors. The Scientometrics was the most productive journal; almost 25 per cent of the Indian articles were published during the period. Gupta, BM was the most productive author and articles published by the Bhattacharya, S, Nagpaul, PS and Rao, IKR had greater impact on the subject as well as fellow researches in the subject category of IS & LS. DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology (DJLIT) has been considered one of the most important journal in the field of Library and Information Science. The present study covers year-wise published papers, special issue, authorship pattern, degree of author collaboration, author productivity, state-wise distribution of authors, country-wise distribution of authors, major contributors, length of papers, cited references, subject-wise published papers in DJLIT during the period of 2011-2015. The study reveals that 310 papers were published in 30 issues of 5 volumes during 2011-2015. 70 (22.58%) papers in great numbers are published in volume no. 32 in 2012, 193 (62.26%) papers are published in special issues, 132 (42.58%) contributed their papers as two-authored and 119 (38.39%) contributed as single author, average author productivity per author is 0.54 during 2011-2015, Delhi state 107 (18.54%) authors are great in number out of 577 authors, 502 (87%) Indian and 75 (13%) foreign authors contributed their papers. This paper investigates research papers published during 2012-2016 about spacecraft as reflected through its publication productivity in different years. This study highlights a quantitative analysis on the authorship pattern and collaborative trends during the past five years in the newly emerged ever growing field of spacecraft in Engineering. Ever since India sent a spacecraft to mars in 2014, India has earned its place in the top ranking space-faring nations which include the USA, Europe Russia, China and Japan. The present study attempts to present the various attributes of research publications of Dr. Amartya Kumar Sen, the great Indian Economist, Noble Laureate and Bharat Ratna. The study is based on the publication data indexed in Scopus database during 1969 to 2015. A total numbers of 111 articles have been retrieved from the source database for the said period. During this long 47 publication years, Dr. A. K. Sen has published a total numbers of 111 publications with an average of 2-3 papers per year. He is the single dominant author in all his publications and preferred single author publications rather than collaborative publications. Out of his 111 publications, he has published only 1 publication with University of Delhi, India affiliation, however 53 publications with Harvard University, United States and 20 publications with Trinity College, Cambridge, United Kingdom. His publications are widely popular among the researchers, which shows that about 21(18.9%) papers are more than 100 times cited by the researchers and 2 papers are more than 300 times cited.
