The article focuses on the human capital investment risk of athletes in China. It states that human capital risk of athletes is divided into three parts, such as the risk in professional choice stage, the risk in growth stage and the risk in re-employment stage. Moreover, the paper presents a theoretical framework to analyze the risk issues for further analysis and resolution of athletes' human capital investment risk issues.
