The objective of this article was to understand how the presence of trans athletes in the Brazilian media has been treated. This study was characterized as a Systematic Literature Review, following the PRISMA guidelines and applying our collection instruments in the Google Scholar database. As a result, we found 11 papers, with 8 articles published in magazines and/or conference proceedings, 2 theses and 1 monograph. The dominant approach was of a qualitative and descriptive nature, focusing on the South and Southeast regions of Brazil. Reading the documents revealed that, although they proposed to discuss trans issues, the study of genders predominated in the light of the identifications man and/or woman, always from a binary perspective, which demonstrates an incongruity of the theme with the cataloging data in the database. It was also possible to notice that in the media there is a fine line between inclusion of a theme to be approached correctly and segregation for presenting flaws in discourses that may compromise the visibility of trans people, especially with regard to the inclusion of athletes with this identification in the sports scene.

O fluxo migratório nos esportes é definido como o movimento entrada/saída de atletas entre países. Causas e consequências são mutáveis e definidas de acordo com características globais. Apesar de sua importância no esporte, os treinadores não possuem o mesmo peso nesse processo. O objetivo desse estudo foi compreender a visão dos treinadores sobre o fluxo migratório no futebol. Trata-se de um estudo observacional de característica qualitativa. Entrevistas semiestruturadas sobre questões inerentes ao fluxo migratório foram realizadas com 2 treinadores brasileiros de experiência internacional. Para análise dos dados nos apoiamos na Análise de Conteúdo proposta por Bardin. Concluímos que a visão dos treinadores sobre o fluxo migratório no futebol brasileiro tem aspectos diferentes dos atletas. As motivações foram o desafio profissional e novas oportunidades. Aspectos socioculturais foram as principais dificuldades. Além disso, uma possível segregação política, falta de resultados expressivos e ausência das licenças específicas fecham portas internacionais para treinadores brasileiros.

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é analisar o sistema de ranqueamento do voleibol brasileiro e suas consequências na formação das equipes participantes. A metodologia é de natureza qualitativa, do tipo descritivo, utilizando como estratégia a análise documental. Os resultados exploram as justificativas para implantação do ranking dos atletas; o sistema de pontuação e suas consequências na composição das equipes; e as demandas recentes que têm feito a discussão ganhar contornos polêmicos. Conclui-se que o sistema vigente apresenta forte mecanismo restritivo na carreira de atletas nacionais e estrangeiros e somente com a constante atualização dos critérios atuais é que poderá se dinamizar os campeonatos nacionais formados por clubes e empresas dedicados ao esporte. Abstract This article analyzes Brazilian volleyball’s ranking system and its impacts on the make-up of participating teams. Its methodology is qualitative, descriptive, using documentary analysis as its strategy. The results explore the reasons for implementing the athlete ranking; the scoring system and its consequences on the make-up of teams; and the recent demands that made the discussion controversial. It concludes that the current system is strongly restrictive for Brazilian and foreign athletes’ careers and only constant updating of the current criteria can dynamize Brazilian championships formed by clubs and companies dedicated to volleyball. Resumen El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el sistema de ranking del voleibol brasileño y sus consecuencias en la formación de los equipos. La metodología es de naturaleza cualitativa, del tipo descriptivo, utilizando como estrategia el análisis documental. Los resultados exploran las justificaciones para la implantación del ranking de los atletas; el sistema de puntuación y sus consecuencias en la composición de los equipos; y las demandas recientes que han hecho que la discusión gane contornos polémicos. Se concluye que el sistema vigente presenta un fuerte mecanismo restrictivo en la carrera de atletas nacionales y extranjeros y solo con la constante actualización de los criterios actuales será posible dinamizar los campeonatos nacionales formados por clubes y empresas dedicados al deporte.

The migratory phenomenon can also be seen in volleyball nets. Initially, this sport’s movement, immediately, triggered the implementation of managerial mechanisms in this process, such as the Official Athlete Ranking. The objective of this study was to analyze, throughout history, the influence of the ranking mechanism in the migration process of athletes in Brazilian's volleyball, in order to answer the following question: how has the ranking policy been interfering in this process? This study is qualitative in nature, using discourse analysis as a strategy. With regard to the instruments, a semi-structured interview was used, containing 1 script with 8 questions about the subject. The sample counted with 10 interviewees, being 2 technicians and 8 athletes of the teams that won the Super League's titles at that time. The CBV imposes measures to preserve the internal market and, beyond this imposition, it’s possible to observe that the market attached to the financial valuation and the cultural and social aspects are influential factors in the movement of the athletes.
