We are carrying out the densest and longest multiyear, multiwavelength monitoring project of OJ 287 ever done. The project MOMO (Multiwavelength Observations and Modeling of OJ 287) covers wavelengths from the radio to the high‐energy regime. A few selected observations are simultaneous with those of the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). MOMO aims at understanding disk‐jet physics and at testing predictions of the binary black hole scenario of OJ 287. Here, we present a discussion of extreme outburst and minima states in context, and then focus on the recent flux and spectral evolution between 2021 and May 2022, including an ongoing bright radio flare. Further, we show that there is no evidence for precursor flare activity in our optical–UV–X‐ray light curves that would be associated with any secondary supermassive black hole (SMBH) disk impact and that was predicted to start as thermal flare on December 23, 2021. We study physics of clusters of galaxies embedded in the cosmic dark energy background. Under the assumption that dark energy is described by the cosmological constant, we show that the dynamical effects of dark energy are strong in clusters like the Virgo cluster. Specifically, the key physical parameters of the dark mater halos in clusters are determined by dark energy: (1) the halo cut-off radius is practically, if not exactly, equal to the zero-gravity radius at which the dark matter gravity is balanced by the dark energy antigravity; (2) the halo averaged density is equal to two densities of dark energy; (3) the halo edge (cut-off) density is the dark energy density with a numerical factor of the unity order slightly depending on the halo profile. The cluster gravitational potential well in which the particles of the dark halo (as well as galaxies and intracluster plasma) move is strongly affected by dark energy: the maximum of the potential is located at the zero-gravity radius of the cluster. The DI Herculis system has been extensively studied over the past few decades because its observed rate of apsidal advance is less than a quarter of that which is expected from its physical and orbital properties. Work by Khaliullin et al. (1991) proposed that this slow rate of apsidal advance is a result of the presence of a third (stellar mass) body orbiting the system, however, observations by Guinan et al. (1994) severely restrict the orbital properties of such a solution. We show that a planetary mass object in a highly inclined orbit relative to the binary is capable of producing the observed apsidal motion, while remaining within the bounds of the most recent set of observations. The formation and evolution of galactic nuclei is discussed, mainly from the viewpoint of the dense gaseous and stellar system in the central portions of young galactic nuclei. A review is given on models of galactic nuclei containing one or more black holes and how the standard historic Rees­Spitzer­Stone scenario of isolated nuclei formation has been changed by the cosmological structure formation scenario. The last few years have seen gamma-ray astronomy maturing and advancing in the field of time-domain astronomy, utilizing source variability on timescales over many orders of magnitudes, from a decade down to a few minutes and shorter, depending on the source. This review focuses on some of the key science issues and conceptual developments concerning the timing characteristics of active galactic nuclei (AGN) at gamma-ray energies. It highlights the relevance of adequate statistical tools and illustrates that the developments in the gamma-ray domain bear the potential to fundamentally deepen our understanding of the nature of the emitting source and the link between accretion dynamics, black hole physics, and jet ejection. This paper considers disruption of triple close approaches with low initial velocities and equal masses in the framework of statistical escape theory in a three-dimensional space. The statistical escape theory is based on the assumption that the phase trajectory of a triple system is quasi-ergodic. This system is described by allowing for both energy and angular momentum conservation in the phase space. In this paper, “possibility of escape” is derived with the formation of a binary on the basis of relative distances of the participating bodies. The complete statistical solutions (i.e. the semi-major axis a, the distributions of eccentricity e of the binary, binary energy Eb, escape energy Es of escaper, and its escape velocity vs) of the system are derived from the allowable phase space volumes and are in good agreement with the numerical results in the range of perturbing velocities vi(10−1≤vi≤10−10) and directions of vi(0≤αi,βi,γi≤π), i=1,2,3. In this paper, the double limit process has been applied to approximate the escape probability. Through this process, it is observed that the perturbing velocity vi→0+, as the product of the semi-major axis a of the final binary and the square of the escape velocity vs approach 2/3, i.e. avs2→2/3, whatever direction of vi may be.
